Medium Wings
Benjamin P.

I've tried coming here multiple times and people were always waiting outside the door to get in. That's a good sign! Well I finally got to try this place for myself. It looks small from the outside and the interior matches. Very divey. Beer can labels cover the walls. Everything is made of wood. No frills. The glory lies with the staff, beer and food. Bartender was kind, attentive and fast. Beer menu is top notch. And pours are perfect. Food comes out fast and fresh. Not my absolute favorite wings in the world. I would've liked them cooked a little longer. But the medium sauce was flavorful. Wings are VERY large and meaty. Fries were great. And the Cuban-egg-roll-thingies tasted like a fried version of the sandwich. I cant wait to come back.

I don't go to bars very often, and I really don't have much experience with local brews. Aside from this, Moor Pat would probably be my favorite beer spot in the area. It's a cozy place with a dose of nostalgia for me personally. I remember eating my favorite sweet cream ice cream there before Jenny's moved out. The house where Moor Pat found its home was built in 1836 and is a really cool, good vibe spot to hang out or catch up with friends. The place was practically empty on a Saturday early afternoon. The bartender wasn't overly friendly, which was just right in my opinion. Our selection of drinks and snacks made our stay enjoyable and the music playing helped to have a good time. Downeast Cider Original tasted like cider. It was a refreshing and crisp drink, very tasty. The Cubano Rolls were good but you have to like pickles. I love pickles and The Barrel + Brine knows how to make them. The Breadhive is a great local bakery. Their whole wheat pretzel was solid and dense. Unfortunately, it was served with plain yellow mustard (not my favorite) instead of the beer cheese dip that's on the menu. The only real downer this time was the bathroom, which looked like it was out of anyone's attention. I understand that maybe the nature of the place does not allow for major changes, and there must be only one washroom available (bummer). Despite this, I believe it's manageable to make the space more pleasant to use for everyone.

We went to the bar and ordered drinks and food before sitting outside on the deck. The bartender was welcoming and friendly! We ordered fried pickles, wings and fries and were told they would be brought out to us when it was ready. The wings were a "718 sauce" which was perfect and were so crispy! The fried pickles were also perfectly crispy with pepperjack cheese we loved. The fries were good just a bit salty. We love the relaxing environment sitting outside.

In the hipster heart of charming Williamsville, lies our next establishment, The Moor Pat. If you're like me and have been here numerous times yet somehow never ordered the chicken wings, you'd be easily forgiven. It is primarily known for its beer selection. After all, you can't spell Tap Room without MOOR PAT. But today, in addition to drinking their REEB, we decided to also sample their DOOF, specifically their SMURD and STALF. Location: 4 / 5 Surrounded by cool buildings and businesses, this place is an absolute vibe. Imagine your most Irish friend built his own bar, served his own beer and made the occasional chicken wing in the storage closet. While they get a perfect score for 'charm', they lose a point because the parking situation was brutal and your Irish friend invited other friends to his basement and let them smoke weed. Presentation: 4.5 / 5 Flavors were individually plated, had a good mix of flats and drums with celery and carrots and the bleu cheese even had a little flare to it. While we tend to prefer presentation on plates or trays, this is about as nicely as you can do a plastic basket. And to the bartender who served us with sanitary gloves on, the act of cleanliness is appreciated and was reflected in your score, if not your tip. Meat: 4.5 / 5 Tight. Consistent, goldilocks sizing. Cook: 8 / 10 Some real debate over this score. While each Wing King valued the crispy style, one even calling this a "perfect" cook, some felt they were a smidge overdone to the point of dryness. That said, we were all impressed at the overall quality of the cook, given that they appeared to be prepared in a dark room / broom closet. Standard Wing: 13.5 / 15 Great balance. Good flavor without being too saucy and a nice crisp without any hints of burnt. We also detected pepper flakes in the sauce which was a nice touch. They're playing with the big boys in this most important category. Specialty Wing: 7.5 / 10 Most of this score is attributed to their BBQ flavor which were by far their strongest alternative offering; great sweetness and tanginess without that ketchupy taste found in far too many BBQ sauces around town. Garlic Parm and Cajun flavors were just okay. Overall: 42 / 50 Lots to love about this place - very comfortable, with great beer and really good wings. MOOR PAT, SUOICILED!

Saucey and delicious wings!

Service here was excellent! I was a little concerned when we first got there because the security guarding the place and making sure everyone is using their mask appropriately was a little intimidating but once we got in, the bartender was very nice and welcoming. He knew his beers and could tell me everything about each one that I asked about just off the top of his head. I went with his recommendations and may have found a new favorite sour beer! The inside is very small. Two tables and a bar, and a hightop seating area across from the bar. Thankfully they have a beautiful (but still small) outdoor patio. We were never forgotten outside and they kept our glasses filled the moment they were empty! The food options are limited and kinda pricey but they have good wing sauce options and the wings are large and saucey! We got a small order of truffle fries which was actually a hefty portion with great flavor, but they were overcooked a bit. Which is fine because we were full from the wings. I would definitely go again, especially when it's acceptable to go out for happy hour again because this place has a ton of beer selections and I want to try them all!

So this place is really impressive for all the a alcohol and beers available , but I came in there for the food ! Best Buffalo wings for sure and the truffle Parmesan fries are spot on for flavor , crunch , and taste ... just yummy . Also , the staff was very friendly and helpful . Love that ! This place is located really close to Glen Park so it is such a delightful area to hang out

Who serves Cornish hen? This place, so good!

I love this place. Seriously solid beers, always! Awesome food, friendly staff. My only negative is it's small. It's not always patio weather here. Ugh. Fills up fast and stays that way. Good for them, not so much for a larger group. Tried an assortment of food today. Truffle fries, poutine, stuffed pickle bites and a hen. Yup a freaking deep fried, crispy skinned Cornish hen served with 3 sauces. OMG so good! I love the barbaric, messy, rip it apart way of eating! Served with house bbq, blue cheese and i forgot the other as the bbq stole the show! I wasn't a fan of the poutine, the gravy had a sour tastes, not as rich as I would've liked and kinda skimpy on the curds. Truffle fries were, well to die for... Chipotle dipping sauce was straight fire! Come for the beer but try some food. Crazy unique and delicious.

This spot has always been a favorite of mine. It really makes the one end of Main Street in Williamsville. We started out with the pretzels and elote dip. The chips for the elote were great too and the dip was a great way to start the meal. The pretzels were soft and chewy and I really enjoyed the mustard they used. I couldn't decide on the main part of my dinner and kept going back between a pizza and a burger. Ended up going with the Nashville Hot Chicken pizza and I was very happy with the choice. The pizza had some heat but nothing too crazy. The wood fire pizza itself was cooked perfectly. Very good and I will definitely be back for more of their pizzas. I also ended up getting a piece of cheesecake to take home and it was great! Very sweet and creamy. I have never seen a rectangle piece of cheesecake before, but maybe that's the secret to why it was so good. We will definitely be back for more here. We love coming here with friends and it is a good spot for dinner or a double date.

Well, they were on the list of Yelp Buffalo's top places to eat in 2025, so of course we had to give them a try. The space itself is really beautiful. Nestled alongside a river with a cabinesque vibe. Stone exterior, with wood floors, exposed brick, and large fermentation tanks on the interior. It's really quite cozy. As for food, our table shared one of their tasty dips - the elote one to be exact. Elote is delicious on its own, but in dip form with pickled red onions, fire! I could eat an entire bucket of this stuff. When it came to my main course I ordered what I call the basic girl dinner, a caesar salad and fries... but here I went with the tater tots because I was told they are heavenly. My salad was a good portion size and exactly what you want when you order a caesar. As for the tots, the amount you get is insane and they were in fact, fried to a crispy perfection. They definitely hit the spot. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and I can see why Yelpers in Buffalo rate this spot so high. If I lived nearby I would definitely be a frequent flyer.

They have gluten free rolls if you want a sandwich but everything else will have gluten, thus the Cesar salad without the croutons. It's very pricey as well. I really wanted to try the vegetarian shepherds pie but couldn't because the server said there's wheat in the gravy. They have no gluten free beers as far as I could tell and no mocktails. However, after being seated on the patio, we waited about 20 minutes before a server came over. Drinks also took quite a while to arrive. I ordered a brown sugar bourbon cocktail, but it was disappointing--basically just tasted like straight bourbon with little to no flavor. For food, I tried the Reuben poutine appetizer ($20). Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the price. The cheese seemed very processed--hard to even describe, and definitely not what I expected. The fried Reuben itself was just okay, but overall it felt overpriced for what it was. In the end, I wouldn't necessarily discourage someone from trying it, but it's not somewhere I'd personally return to. The experience just didn't match the cost or leave much of a positive impression.

Eggplant Caprese 9/10 Very crispy eggplant breading. The eggplant itself was cooked good. There was also more eggplant than there was Mozz and tomato- so I would suggest adding another couple slices to balance out every bite. I'd add a touch more balsamic too. Bison sliders 8/10 Meat was good, the slider burgers were pretty thick and juicy. I would recommend since they were so think maybe cooking them a minute less for a more medium cook. I liked the goat cheese paired with the meat but you really couldn't taste it, i wish there was more. I'm not sure if it was the onion jam or the blueberry BBQ but something was a little spicy. Bbq pork belly tacos 7/10 The pork was cooked great, and the bbq was a good flavor. I liked the idea behind the double shell (one hard, one corn tortilla), but I think it would have worked better if it was a flour tortilla because both shells ended up breaking and I needed to use a fork to eat it. Between the hard shell and the sweet potato crisps, there was too much crunch for me. I did like the pairing of the pineapple with the BBQ sauce.

He once told me that the only thing worse than cheap wine is Buffalo in the winter and of course, here we are.. We searched Yelp and Share Kitchen had great reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. Our server was Hannah and she is absolutely a 5 stars gem! Super nice and down to earth. We ordered several dishes: 1) Eggplant Caprese: deep fried eggplant, tomato, basil chiffonade, and balsamic drizzle. The eggplant is breaded and spiced nicely. It was served hot. There are 2 and it was good 2) Roasted Artichoke: it was really the heart with the stem, breaded, served with a very small amount of arugula, lots of shaved parmesan and a lemon wedge. This was very good- wish there was a bit more arugula. My bad for not ordering a salad 3) Bison Sliders: the blueberry BBQ sauce intrigued me. There are 3 and it is served medium, or maybe medium rare. The grilled onions were yummy on there! 4) Jackruit Tacos: these were on the paper menu with their specials. What is smart is the taco shell is fried and they serve it inside a regular tortilla. Both corn. Yummy with the pickled onion. 5) chocolate ganache cake: GF and surprisingly dense and yummy. Served with a dollop of strawberry jam and some whipped cream. Yummy! I didn't take a photo of it as we just dove in! We are bummed that they are booked tomorrow night! It's a great place to take a date and there are tables for 4 or you can eat at the bar as well. All around great ambience, our server is awesome and the food ono!! We talked to the host while waiting for our Uber and he is also born & raised in Buffalo- everyone we've met from Buffalo is so nice, including our neighbor who we will deeply miss. Please try Share Kitchen & Bar. You will not be disappointed!
