My wife & I were going to GBP to meet up with some friends. Upon arrival, before we even got out of the car, we were being yelled at by some vagrant hippie woman who didn't like where I parked. It was snowing and the lot was quite full. But, I obliged and moved the car to appease the smelly old lady. We entered the establishment and had one round of drinks while getting our butts kicked in darts. As we were sitting in the corner with five friends, minding our own business, the bartender made her way over to us to tell me we had to leave. She claims "someone over served us", and we couldn't stay. This was quite shocking, so we went to the car to contemplate wtf just happened. My wife got an Uber and I went back inside to get a glass of water and inquire why we were kicked out. The BS that was spewing out of the bartender's mouth reeked of menthol cigarettes and multiple abortions. There was no compromise to be had, so I chugged the water and left. In the end, two very good tippers were sent on our way for no reason. If you like being judged and manipulated by local Lancaster regulars, this bar is Awesome! If not, it's still the same dive bar we've been going to for years. read more

The "GBP" is a neighborhood dive bar and cash only. Its a popular spot among locals, and draws in a wide age range of adults. They offer a handful of beers on tap including domestic and craft beers, and they also have a full bar and serve food. Prices are reasonable and there's a pool table. read more

This bar could be a really awesome place and I would definitely go back if it weren't for the blonde bartenders attitude. Honestly ruined the vibe, she was incredibly rude and ignorant I'm shocked she still has a job there. Hopefully she gets a reality check because that was disgusting customer service. read more

Cool dive bar in Lancaster! There is plenty to do. A nice sized bar, darts, pool table, jukebox, and lots of regulars. I have heard their chicken wings are great though I have not tried themselves. The drink prices are decent, they have lots of parties for Halloween and other events. Great place to watch a sabres or bills game and everyone has always been friendly when I was there. One of my favorite divey spots. This place has anything you need for a chill night out. Darts, pool, bubble hockey and bowling for your entertainment. Tons of inexpensive bar food is available for your sober or drunk dining pleasure. I love the cajun chicken fingers and the fresh cut curly fries. At least get a big old bowl of fries. Seriously! My friend needed a buffer for a "meet-up" with a guy, so she asked me to make the trip out to Lancaster. The place was your average neighborhood bar with a relaxed atmosphere. I felt totally comfortable, maybe more so because of the camaraderie with the Thursday night Bills/Jets game. They were doing a $15 special for a double order of wings and a pitcher of beer. Sweet deal. My friend and I split the Cajun wings, and the charred BBQ wings and they were phenomenal. I usually like my wings plain, but I kept going back and forth between the two flavors trying to figure out which one I liked best. I might consider a trip back just for the wings. There's a pool table, dart board, and plenty of T.V.s. No fuss, great place to go if you're in the area. read more

If you're from Lancaster...chances are you've hung out here. Either with your parents or with every other person that graduated from LHS. The owner, Jimmy Lynch, is a great guy and still tends bar from time to time. They've got darts, pool, shuffleboard, and....Big Game Hunter. be prepared for a bit of competition. I'm upgrading to 4 stars. I've been back several times since my last review. The vibe is friendly, the drinks are reasonably priced and the bar food, while limited in selection, is all very well executed. I'd rather eat at a pub does a few things really well than one that tries to do too many things with varying results. Also, they have some some interesting beer options over and above your typical Labatts and Coors. Last visit there was somebody lording over the jukebox and when I tried to put a buck in he came running over to stop me, not sure why but I didn't want to make a stink. But, that kind of thing happens in any neighborhood tavern. Just part of the charm. I even dragged my wife here once and she enjoyed herself. We'll be back. read more

Average dive bar. Owner is a nice guy, however he sometimes allows smoking inside the building. I'd like to have a drink or two with my buddies and not leave the place smelling like I smoked a pack. Never have I ever been to an establishment that was so disrespectful to me and my group of friends. All of us were visiting from out of state for an alumni event and we were so so excited to be with each other and go to this bar because they were open late and near where we were staying for the weekend. They would only serve 1 out of 6 of us and told everyone else to leave or else, because all of us were women who had out of state drivers licenses. We tried to show every other possible form of identification and they would not serve us because we were not from New York and couldn't trust our IDs. After a half intimidating man in a leather vest hovered over us for the next 15 minutes and threatened to kick us out saying the cops were on their way because we all were using fake IDs, we were able to speak to many other patrons who were also out of state, and they could not understanding why they were being so unkind to all of us and kicking us out of the bar when all we wanted to do was support their small family business. Needless to say, this establishment was the most unkind I have ever been to and pretty much used sexist judgement to discriminate against all of us and kick us out when we came in extremely happy to visit this bar and have some drinks with friends who have not seen each other in years. Not the place for you, but might be the place for your worse enemy. Go literally anywhere else, circle K or 7/11 would be friendlier with much more logical and intelligent service. Very upset. Very hurt by this establishment and the way women at this business treat other women. read more

why no reviews? i saw one in the Buffalo News not too long ago - great article on this place. go check the archives. great local bar - kinda like "Cheers" the bartenders remember your name and give you the full amt of alcohol you ordered - not watered down like some or paying no attention to you. Steph is a great bartender - knows how to make your drink and has suggestions on special nights (like what liquor is on sale and how to make your drink get the best value). great customer service. Jimmy - the owner - is fantastic. quite a character! the bar food ain't bad either - better find out when the kitchen is open before you venture out. the chicken fingers, fries and pizza logs were all delicious. great place to watch a game (NFL, NHL, MLB, etc) while you get a drink and snack. 1 pool table, a couple dart boards and a jukebox round out your extras here. i go here with friends when i visit home and i never am disappointed. wide range of ages for the patrons here. check it out! read more

The bartenders are consistently miserable and they don't accept credit cards....in 2017. It's always a negative atmosphere. I've given the place three attempts and after meeting the bartender the third time on Thursday I will not be back. read more
