Seasonal Latte from Overwinter Coffee in Williamsville, NY - December 2025
    Krista M.

I've been to Overwinter Coffee twice now, most recently with my mom before we headed to Woodhouse Day Spa for massages. It was a Saturday morning and while street parking was plentiful, the line inside was pretty long. That said, the line moved at a reasonable pace and tables seemed to turn over fairly quickly. By the time our coffees were ready, we were able to grab a seat without too much trouble. My mom ordered a black coffee while I opted for one of the seasonal lattes. Both were smooth, well balanced, and what we were hoping for on a cold winter morning! Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the food selection. We were hoping for a light breakfast but options were limited to cookies and a few small pastries. The items that sounded most appealing were already sold out for the day which was a bit of a bummer! This is definitely not a full breakfast spot. Prices were on par with what you'd expect from a craft coffee shop, especially in the Williamsville area. While I enjoyed the coffee, the overall experience on a busy winter morning felt a little too hectic for my liking. All that to say I'd absolutely return, just at an off hour and after having already eaten. Overwinter is popular for a reason, and with better timing on my part, I know it would shine even brighter to me!

My favorite coffee spot in Buffalo!! I came back home for the holidays to visit my family, and the first place I wanted to go was Overwinter Coffee. I came here to do some work, and the staff was very friendly. I got a peppermint mocha, and it was the best one I've ever had. I will say, if you want to come hang out, get here early! I got there at 9am and there were only a few seats left. Still, I love the vibes and I love the people. Also, this location is right near Glenn Falls, so you can walk there afterward! I highly recommend this place, and please follow them on Instagram to keep up with the new additions to their menu! Their seasonal items are fantastic!

Great coffee...and surprisingly cheap too Ambience inside is chill, quaint, cute little coffee shop

Chic decor with a laid-back vibe, the baristas are very knowledgeable and quick to fill your order in a stylish way (see photo). Parking is a problem: There's nothing available in the back lot, and it's on a busy street with limited spaces. Still, if you're walking, or taking the bus, or an Uber, this is definitely worth a visit!

Omg!! What a place! Super cute and great vibes! The guys were so friendly and the coffee is fabulous! This is what i expect from a coffee shop Their syrups are homemade. I had the blackberry one which I couldn't taste much but the coffee itself was just perfect

Had such a great experience here today. Andrew was incredibly kind and knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through all of the different brews they offer. He helped me choose what would work best for my espresso machine and even ground a full pound for me on the spot, which I really appreciated. My latte was perfection!! I also grabbed a chocolate chip cookie that was absolutely amazing. I can't remember the name of the bakery, but he mentioned they're made by a local baker out of Tonawanda, and it definitely showed. Overall, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and you can really tell they care about both their coffee and their customers. I'll definitely be back.

Blueberry Lemon Scone: An awesome scone - Not dry in the center and not too sweet, delicious!!

It had been a while since I stopped into Overwinter Coffee a couple friends passing through Buffalo on their trip home out of NY, wanted a local spot to get some caffeine and catch-up for a bit with Overwinter Coffee fitting the bill! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, high-quality caffeine options, and cozy/relaxed vibes with a surprisingly deep indoor seating area, definitely my kind of coffee shop. I grabbed a pour-over of "The Easy Drinker", adding oat milk for a slight upcharge, along with a blueberry lemon scone. Being pour-over, it took a few minutes for my coffee but it was worth the wait. Very smooth, creamy, and flavorful with notes of chocolate coming through for me. The scone was perfect - Not dry in the center and not overly sweet. The pricing was in line with the quality of customer service and drink/food. Overwinter Coffee is a nice spot to sip, eat, and catch up with friends! I look forward to coming back when I want to treat myself to a nicer cup of coffee.

Really nice coffee shop with a good amount seating. Nice ambiance. Cappuccino was really good but I didn't try any food. Staff was nice and helpful.

Cute little coffee shop! We all loved our drinks, and the kids especially lived the latte art! Our pastries were scrumptious too!

One of my favorite coffee shops in wny. I didn't get food this time. I've gotten the scones before, and I love them. The coffee was very good. The ube latte was nutty and sweet. The cashier was so nice and service was quick. It's co cute in there with the arch ways, and the little nooks in both windows. Great place, great people, awesome menu.

    DELICIOUS mocha!!!

Super cute coffeehouse with delicious coffee! My hubby purchased a seasonal chai cider and loved it, while my mocha was perfectly made!

First timer and the barista was super helpful and friendly! He suggested an iced cinnamon maple latte and it is AMAZING! The vanilla bean scone was delightful! Definitely recommend this if visiting the buffalo area.

The view from outside. Maybe one day I'll crawl in to the front window table:).

This place has three of the most important factors for a coffee shop. The good coffee, atmosphere and service all together are inviting and pleasant. Not sure what to add more. Of course, if I would like to complain a little bit it would be about the hours they are open. Closing at 4:00? They must target strong numbers of coffee drinkers who come to have some caffeine before and during working hours. On Saturday the place was busy. There was a nice balance of people with computers and those with real human company. The music was playing loud enough to make the space even more lively. My coffee was too sweet, but heavenly creamy. I enjoyed it a lot. Sitting on the bar stool wasn't the most comfortable, but all the small tables were occupied. I thought for a moment to sit at a wooden bench, but being face to face with a stranger is not exactly my thing. Anyway, the overwinter coffee is a perfect place to meet up for any reason.

Coffee cake and a vanilla latte!

From the moment you walk in the door you hear the faint sound of music and the ambiance is welcoming. I was quite impressed with the size of this place, there is plenty of room for dining inside and seating for one person or a little group. The menu is pretty straight forward and there is a display case with wonderful cakes and other treats. The drink menu is pretty simple and there appears to be a featured item on display. We placed our orders and was given a timer to await our order preparation. We grabbed a corner seat with a couch like setting and waited patiently. Drink orders consisted of Cold Pistachio Latte , iced Adeni and a brown sugar oatmilk drink on special. We decided on a pastry also. So we ordered a Cardamom knot, Red Velvet Cake and Coconut Cake. It probably took about 10 mins from being seated before we were notified. We attempted to get up to go and pick it up, but the young lady delivered our items on a tray. The drinks were absolutely delicious! The flavors were a burst in your mouth. The Pistachio Latte was phenomenal. The Brown Butter was great, but a bit on the strong side and the Adeni was delicious, the cardamom really stood out in that drink. On to the cakes ...all were delicious.. The coconut was a little dense but delicious. There were 2 layers The cardamom knot was delicious. They usually heat them and that enhances the flavor. The red velvet was wonderful, I wondered about the type of frosting. It reminded me of a whipped cream, which I'm not a fan of but the cake was delicious. This was an awesome experience. Some additional features. The restrooms were very clean and well stocked. There is a corner area where they have games to allow people to enjoy. I watched some friends play a came of chess. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and effortlessly cool, the kind of place that makes you want to linger for hours with a good book and a great cup of coffee. My fiancé and I each ordered one of their specialty coffees along with bagels, and everything was fantastic. After a less than stellar experience at Tim Hortons earlier in the trip, Seven Hearts completely redeemed our coffee expectations. It was exactly the aesthetic and experience I had been searching for. What really made it special was how quickly it felt like a place I could make part of my routine. If I lived in Buffalo, this would absolutely be my go to coffee shop. Before leaving, I picked up a couple of honey sticks and a bottle of their house made lavender syrup to bring home. Upon entering, no one greeted me, and I felt rushed while looking over the menu. When I asked questions, it felt like I was inconveniencing the employee rather than being helped. I ordered the blueberry lemon bar matcha and hoped the drink would redeem the experience, but it was disappointing. The flavor combination didn't work well in a matcha drink, and it left a strange aftertaste/coating in my mouth. I also specifically requested no dairy (asked for oat milk) yet it still came topped with cold foam, which upset my stomach. It looked cute, but for nearly $9, it wasn't enjoyable. I had originally planned to order food as well, but the overall atmosphere and interaction felt so uncomfortable that I decided to just take my drink and leave.
