    Remedy House, Buffalo

A great stop for my first "office" of the morning and my first coffee, though the lack of accessible power outlets meant that I was only here for an hour until the power ran out on my laptop and it was time to head onwards. Remedy House appears to be a former home with seating inside and tables outside. I chose a cortado this morning and it was excellent. Served in the proper glass, the right amount of coffee and whole milk. They also have a bunch of baked goods. Friendly service, a neat vibe. But this isn't a laptop hangout. Chocolate chip muffin

Went for lunch and got the chicken salad sandwich, which was definitely not what I was expecting. If I hear chicken salad then I'm expecting something a bit more creamy and mixed together, but this was more like sliced pieces of chicken on a sandwich versus more a traditional chicken salad. It had an interesting taste to it, but I probably wouldn't order it again. I also wanted to check this place out again since the owners had changed and I wasn't sure what might look or be different. I feel like the items I saw on the menu seemed like the same stuff from before or similar at least, but the verdict still out if this will still be a lunch by check out regularly. That said dessert is still one of the better things I enjoyed for my experience. I got the chocolate chip muffin, which was a good size and maybe had a bit too many salt crystals on top but was still good.

Ran into this place for a to go coffee. Both the latte and iced espresso were delicious. If you go, plan to sit down and relax. The atmosphere is like a European cafe. Yellow and navy reminded me of the Van Gogh yellow cafe painting. People eating looked satisfied. Inside is clean and modern. Will try again if we're in the area.

i'm not a sandwich gal but these sandwiches i loved. not soggy, not too juicy, just crisp enough, filling but light. VERY fairly priced as well!! the staff was extremely friendly. the store itself is very cute and uniquely shaped (a triangle?) with tall windows that open so you are basically sitting outside because they open all the doors on a nice day lol. they're usually pretty packed at popular times but you shouldn't have a problem sitting down anyways with a short wait.

    Tom and Jerry, yum!

Happy to return here for breakfast. This place is small and it was hopping! Always great service and great drinks. We came here as we're making our way along the Tom and Jerry trail. This was definitely one of our favorites! My partner ordered a breakfast sandwich which was good. I got an interesting breakfast that totally made me think... This seems so European, it was delish and served with homemade jam. Great location. Fun people watching.

    Egg on a roll

One of the best coffees in buffalo. And the EGG ON A ROLL WITH AOLI !! FIREEE. The seating is so limited in the winter so get there earlyyyyy. But in the summer the patio is to die for. Fast service but the food sometimes takes a long time.

    Tuna hoagie (half)

Came here for lunch and had an ok experience. Drinks- I ordered an iced jasmine green tea. It was pretty good! Food- I ordered a half Tuna hoagie, which came with a bag of chips. The hoagie was amazing, the tuna salad was so incredibly flavorful too! It was filling, but also messy. Service- staff was friendly, but the service was inconsistent. 4 people who ordered after me got their drinks before my iced green tea came out. I got my hoagie so long before my friend (who ordered a Turkey hoagie), that I finished mine before she got hers. Seating- there's no indoor seating, just outdoor if you can find it. Overall- food and drinks were good. Prices were fair. Service was friendly but slow and inconsistent.

This is a nice little coffee house with indoor and outdoor seating. It's a nice neighborhood to walk in and then sit down, have a hot or cold beverage, and just take in the vibrant life within the neighborhood.

This was such a cool place. It was my first time stopping in with my daughter. There is patio seating available in the warm months, but being February, the limited seating meant we had to take our order to go. Little bit of a bummer there, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The place had a nice feel to it, little upscale feeling. The food is simple but SO Good. I got an egg on a roll, and my daughter got a seasonal egg on a roll which had their homemade sausage as well. The bread was outta this world. I could tell just by the feel of it still closed with the wrapping on it, that it was quality bread. And oh it was! So hard to find, just doesn't exist in most common places. Simple simple food can taste so amazing with fresh quality ingredients. I could taste a bit of cracked black pepper on my sandwich along with very nice cheddar. I could go on and on. Did I mention the bread though?? Oh, and their pastries looked so amazing. A pastry chef had to have made those. Very above and beyond just normal bakery items. For coffee I tried the cafe bombon. I was surprised that it came out iced. Thankfully it was still 20 degrees and not 5 like today haha. My daughter tried the chili mocha. It had quite a kick to it, and we were surprised to have found a chili pepper inside. I give you a big gold star, and will definitely be back when we have a better chance of scoring a seat.

I'm a sucker for a yummy breakfast sandwich, and Remedy House Espresso has one of the best in Buffalo, NY. Located in the West Side of town, the location is super quaint as it sits on the corner. The staff was very kind and helped me navigate the new intro and exit section that they designed to accommodate social distancing guidelines. As for my breakfast, I got the Egg on a Roll with bacon and garlic aioli. YUM! Every bite was even more delicious than the the last. The bacon and garlic are add-ons, but I highly recommend that you do so! You can also add prosciutto or you can opt for a gluten free roll if. As for my beverage, I decided on a vanilla latte and I'm so glad I did. Perfectly made and enjoyed until the last drop. This was my first visit, but I will definitely be back! They have a very easy online ordering system, and I'm looking forward to being able to dine in once restaurants are able to reopen. Place your order soon, because you won't be disappointed!

Highly recommend this west side gem. Delicious breakfast sandwiches, great coffee and pastries! Try to get a spot outside when the weather is nice! You can also order ahead online on their website.

    Is this place dog friendly?

There were loads of families with their dogs with them. There are lots of tables outside and you place your order on line and go pick it up under the awning on the side window. They aren't open inside at all.

I ordered the Britney: smoked salmon, onion, cucumber, and lemon scallion dill cream cheese on a rosemary salt bagel. The second I opened the wrapper I was hit with the smell of fresh rosemary, which immediately sold me. Flavor-wise, this sandwich was lovely. The smoked salmon tasted fresh and paired perfectly with the lemon scallion dill cream cheese. The cucumbers added the right amount of freshness and crunch, and the bagel itself had beautiful flavor. My only issue was the texture of the bagel. It was very hard, and toasting it unfortunately made it even tougher. Every bite turned into a bit of a balancing act because the sandwich kept falling apart. Still, the flavors were strong enough to make up for it. Overall, I really enjoyed it and I'm excited to go back again. Definitely won't wait years next time. 7.9/10

While you can enter from the street, it's also connected from inside the hotel, which is honestly how it caught my attention. The space is actually pretty big, bigger than I expected. It's open, colorful, there's a ton of natural light, cool murals all over the walls, luscious greenery, and a variety of seating options. The counter where you order is nice and open, with a big menu, and a sheet of glass between the customers and what I quickly came to know is their staple item, the cruller - a donut-like pastry that's super airy on the inside with a delicious icing glaze on the outside. Along with my oat milk latte, I had to try one... ok two. I got a seasonal Pride one and I can't remember the other one. Both were dreamy and it was easy to see why they are so popular.
