My whole family always loves going into The Bean. The bagels are huge, and they are delicious. Their breakfast sandwiches could be a little more generous on meat, but that's my only judgement. Their coffee options are fantastic, their sweets are ON POINT! Staff is always patient and kind. If you're going on a weekend between like 930a and 11a, be patient. It's gonna be a while. After you order, play a board game they have out. Super comfy chairs await you. Also, great dog pics all over!

Went here after going for a walk at Delaware park. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming with a dog-themed interior. Place is clean. Amazing staffs and had a great vibe. Reasonable prices. For $9 you can get a meat, egg, and cheese on a bagel (your choice) as big as your head. Ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches but me and my partner ended up taking home the other after we saw how huge the portion was. Not only the bagel is HUGE, it was also soft and delicious. You can tell it is freshly made. The coffee was good, but I just wish the latte had more of a cream brûlée flavor. Wait time is not that long even they were busy. Ample of seating but they have outdoor seating if indoor isn't available. Great spot for meeting friends, getting work done or if you want a good breakfast. Will be back!

Tried it again on a non weekend day. Much better overall selection wise food wise and everything wise. So basically it was a me problem not them. That said I would visit again I wouldn't ever go on the weekend. Just insanity and too busy. Glad we got a second chance!

Incredible hand made bagel! It was HUGE and a great deal too (only $4). The interior was very cute, and the staff were very friendly. I didn't get coffee or stay for too long, but I would definitely go back based on the bagels alone!

We figured we would wait in line being a busy Saturday. However we waited an hour for the drinks and then the sandwiches took 45 minutes. They were slammed this morning so they were busy making more bagels. Others seemed to walk in and out a lot faster than our ( perhaps they ordered online) my friend disliked the taste of her iced S'mores latte but asked for a remake and they said they would have to wait again.

Yes, it is true the bagel breakfast sandwich is the size of your head (hat for reference). Somehow, the flavor is even bigger!!

So the workers are so nice and helpful. The young lady took time to answer my questions and help me find the perfect flavor. The bagels were being prepared right in front of me. They were huge and delicious! I got the cream brûlée latte! Was delicious! I have to go back to try the honey bun, blueberry, and tiramisu lattes! What an unique flavor selection!

Also got a tiramisu latte, my friend got a cream cheese on an everything bagel and crème brûlée latte

Having grown up in Long Island, I was craving a good bagel when I moved to Buffalo! Imagine my delight when I found out this spot opened up just a few minutes from my house. The bagels are amazing, a little more on the fluffy texture than chewy compared to the Long Island bagels I grew up with. Everything is made piping hot and fresh: make sure you come before noon because from what I've seen after being there twice, they run out of bagels by then! Also be prepared to wait 30min+ in line as it is a new hot spot in Buffalo, everyone is currently excited to check them out. Sausage or bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel is a must try here.

The Bean did not disappoint! Came here on a Sunday morning, and while the line was long and it was quite busy in there, the efficiency behind the counter was top-notch. Did not take long at all to get our two breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and hot chocolate. You can see them making the bagels right in front of you. The breakfast sandwiches were fantastic. The bagels were so fresh and fluffy. Very generous sized. Finally, the dog theme in the restaurant just puts the cherry on top. Pictures of dogs hanging on the walls, little dog statues, and the dog logo. I have nothing negative to say. So happy we decided to try this place out, will certainly be back!

Tried this cafe for lunch on a Friday and it was nice and busy. The space has a cozy, modern, crisp aesthetic and the photos of various pets from customers gives a homey feel to the place. I ordered a Rosemary Salt bagel toasted with cream cheese and a Crème Brûlée latte. Although busy, the wait time was not long at all. I loved the bagel, soft yet crispy and great flavor. They don't cut them in half so next time I'll ask and I wish the latte had more crème brûlée flavor but the coffee was good. Great space to work or meet up for a coffee.

I very rarely give a one star review but this place is awful. We waited roughly 10 minutes before our food was done, which is reasonable, but it took our drinks an extra 20 minutes. so by the time we got our drinks, our food was cold. My apple cider matcha tasted like straight up syrup. I love matcha and I literally threw it away after a few sips because it was so unbearably sweet. The sandwich was just about as good as it looks (not) The atmosphere is also so weird in there like the decorations are questionable and there are not good seating options. I wasted 40 dollars today and im so disappointed. do not waste your time and your money here. It was also only street parking which added stress and made for a long walk to and from the car. I left this review on google and got a nasty reply from the owner. I stand by everything I said. The time stamps ARE correct, the matcha DID taste like straight up syrup, and the parking WAS stressful. I love animals but the decorations were just strangely done and could easily be improved by someone with tasteful ideas.

Great spot on Hertel, friendly atmosphere, great service and delicious food. Highly recommended.

We came here on a friday afternoon. The service was great. The bagel its self was really good. But we got an egg, sausage, cheese bagel and the egg was bigger than the bagel. I know this sounds like a dumb complain but it was completely over powering and not what a BEC should be built like. Sadly i'm disappointed, I would love to comeback again and try but probably not for a while.

The vibe is cozy but elevated: natural light, warm tones, the kind of space where you can journal, edit photos, or have a soft life catch-up with a friend. Let's talk orders: Rose Matcha -- This is the drink. Lightly floral, perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and somehow both calming and energizing. It feels grounding without being gimmicky. I may have even gotten my boyfriend hooked to matcha off of this drink alone Cupid's Latte -- Seasonal but unforgettable. It's sweet without being cloying and tastes like a cozy little love letter in a cup. The kind of drink that makes you romanticize your entire day. Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakkie Sandwich -- Absolute classic done right. The sausage is flavorful, the egg is cooked perfectly, and everything melts together in that satisfying, messy-in-the-best-way breakfast sandwich experience. It hits every time. Chocolate Muffins (and baked goods in general) -- Soft, rich, bakery-level good. Not dry. Not overly sweet. Just the right indulgence to pair with coffee while pretending you're being productive. What I love most is that nothing feels mass-produced. It feels intentional. The staff is always kind and efficient, even when it's busy, and the quality is consistent. Jam Parkside isn't just a coffee shop, it's a ritual. A reset button. A soft, delicious pause in the middle of a chaotic week. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and effortlessly cool, the kind of place that makes you want to linger for hours with a good book and a great cup of coffee. My fiancé and I each ordered one of their specialty coffees along with bagels, and everything was fantastic. After a less than stellar experience at Tim Hortons earlier in the trip, Seven Hearts completely redeemed our coffee expectations. It was exactly the aesthetic and experience I had been searching for. What really made it special was how quickly it felt like a place I could make part of my routine. If I lived in Buffalo, this would absolutely be my go to coffee shop. Before leaving, I picked up a couple of honey sticks and a bottle of their house made lavender syrup to bring home. Now I get to enjoy a little taste of Seven Hearts, and Buffalo, with my morning coffee for a few more days.

Upon entering, no one greeted me, and I felt rushed while looking over the menu. When I asked questions, it felt like I was inconveniencing the employee rather than being helped. I ordered the blueberry lemon bar matcha and hoped the drink would redeem the experience, but it was disappointing. The flavor combination didn't work well in a matcha drink, and it left a strange aftertaste/coating in my mouth. I also specifically requested no dairy (asked for oat milk) yet it still came topped with cold foam, which upset my stomach. It looked cute, but for nearly $9, it wasn't enjoyable. I had originally planned to order food as well, but the overall atmosphere and interaction felt so uncomfortable that I decided to just take my drink and leave.

I was thrilled to finally make to it Cafe Bewilderment for lunch yesterday. First and foremost, the Monocle Building itself is stunning with immaculate vibes. Once we found Cafe Bewilderment, I was, in fact, bewildered. It's beautiful, it's wild, and it's a place I already know I'll want to return to again and again. The setup is simple: order at the counter, grab your table marker (a very tiny tree stump - how fun is that?), and your food is brought out to you. All of the employees were friendly and the gentleman at the register helped me decide between the Lox Sandwich and the Hot Honey Burrata. He recommended the lox so I went with that. The Lox Sandwich was more of a lox toast than a sandwich, but whatever it was delicious and surprisingly filling. My mom ordered the Bewild BLT and ended up taking half of it home, so I'd say hers was also filling. To drink, I ordered a hot latte with lavender and cardamom. It was so, so good, and the presentation was chef's kiss. Honestly, though, the decor is mesmerizing. Everywhere you look there's something interesting to admire - even the bathroom. I really, really, really want to come back to try more of the menu as well as their cocktails. Something tells me Cafe Bewilderment is just as magical in the evening as it is during the day!!!
