Bacon Brie Jelly Sandwich, fresh fruit and potato chips
    Dora G.

This little hole in the wall cafe turned out to be one of the greatest finds. From the bountiful potted plants scattered throughout the room, to the quaint arts & crafts "shop" tucked in a small alcove next to the rustic pallet counter (where you place your order), this place has charm in spades. Mismatched chairs and tables give it that added "homey" feel (along with the tv and easy chairs). Breakfast and lunch offerings all sounded quite tempting. I settled on a BLT on sourdough and my sister was more daring and ordered the bacon brie jelly sandwich (bravo to the chef for being inventive). Sandwiches came with fresh fruit (and boy was it fresh and tasty) and a second side (we had chips). Bacon was so plentiful on our sandwiches that we got a mouthful of bacon in every single bite. The coffee was a low acid type and tasted wonderful---served in generously sized mugs. The owners are quite friendly and acted as chef and waitstaff. I can't wait to make a return trip to check out their drool worthy breakfast offerings: breakfast sandwiches, waffles, croissant, bagels and more.

Avocado toast 5/5. Tasty. Not enough avocado (is there ever enough? :P) but overall delicious.

Okay, so if it wasn't for the atmosphere this place probably would've gotten a 4/5 or 5/5 from me (I personally really enjoyed my avocado toast) It's this cute corner cafe with a lot of potential but missed in a few points. When I enter a cafe, I want a relaxing ambience. I didn't feel that here. Again, the potential of this place is high! They have cute plants and even some other items they sell and with a bit of reorganization I think they can turn this into a bigger gem! I really really enjoyed my avocado toast and my chai latte. It was delicious and it was perfect for take out. I will definitely return to try other items on the menu. Another pro is that the owners seem extremely friendly and provide great service. It seems to be family owned restaurant which also gives it a special touch!

I stopped into this adorable little cafe on my way to Letchworh for breakfast and I'm really glad I did. This place was great, small and quaint with a nice amount of seating and that cozy coffee shop feel. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on their everything bagel an iced coffee and blueberry muffin because I needed a baked good. The sandwich was sooo good and the bacon was just cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the ice coffee with a pump of caramel and a nice flavor throughout. I saved the best for last with the muffin which I ate later that day when resting during my hike. I'd go back for just the muffin! It was so tasty and flavorful I wish I ordered three more! This was a great little stop and one I'm sure to make again when I'm in the area!

Cute place with nice selection of coffee and coffee drinks with hearty sandwiches and breakfast offerings. Trish and her Mom are very friendly and accommodating. They also sell a small selection of homemade Buffalo and 716 themed items. Stop by and eat local and shop local!

I live in Lancaster and wanted to try the Pallet cafe out as it looked cute and interesting from the pictures and positive reviews that it has been receiving. The staff/owners were very welcoming when we arrived and the inside has an eclectic vibe with the pallet constructed counters and assorted crafts for sale. While the coffee was good the food items fell short from what one would have expected. The pastry that I ordered wasn't as fresh as I would have expected and the avocado toast was ordinary at best. To summarize, I'd return for the coffee, but the menu offering needs recipe and ingredient adjustment.

What a sweet cafe! I was warmly greeted by the employees and I ordered the iced coffee (one size, $2.50). Upon taking my first sip, I was pleasantly surprised to learn their house coffee is vanilla buttercream flavored. The flavor is very subtle, but just enough to taste a little sweetness. The space is nicely renovated and has a cool high-top bar area with electrical outlets. I look forward to returning and trying their waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and assorted pastries. We are so glad to have you in Lancaster, Pallet Cafe!

Avocado toast with tomato, mozzarella and balsamic glaze was a huge thumbs up.

You won't be disappointed if you order the avocado toast. Coffee was delicious as well. I will certainly patronize this cafe again.

Super yummy, small and cozy, kind and neighborhood hang out.

Delicious food, cute comfortable atmosphere, wonderful customer service, neighborhood place

We have had excellent meals here. They have the usuals and some other unusual items that sound terrific. I had the granny"meal which was delicious . Next time, I'm getting what the next table had - these taco shaped dough thingies with cream cheese inside and strawberries on top. Oh My. Neighbor at the table said they were amazing . My plan is to take one for the team and get them. I'm afraid I'll like them way too much. This restaurant I was very busy both times. Good sign. We traveled a very far distance to enjoy Campfire Grill, and often the line for tables goes out the door. Today I ordered one of the specialty breakfasts, the Breakfast Flatbread which is two eggs, hollandaise, bacon, spinach, and Roma tomatoes over a crispy flatbread. I'm going to go out on a limb say this is now my most favorite breakfast. This dish comes with a choice of campfire potatoes or fresh fruit cup. Today I ordered the fresh fruit cup, and it was very delicious. Fresh grapes, pineapple, and melons. I would order this again. My husband ordered the cattle melt. This has to be seen to be believed. It's a mountain of a breakfast sandwich. Loaded high with sliced roast beef, two eggs, melted cheese, mushrooms, peppers and onions all stacked up on a grilled thick cut sourdough bread. It was so huge, that he had to bring half of it home in a box. He thoroughly enjoyed this melt sandwich. Finally, we also ordered the Griddle Toast Logs because, frankly this is the real reason we come to Campfire Grill. French toast slices rolled around a core of fresh, strawberries, and sweet and cream cheese, grilled crisp, and covered with more whipped cream and fresh berries. Truth be told, we could not even dive into them until we got home because we were so full with our entrées.. But they didn't last more than a few minutes after we returned home. The decor is reminiscent of our days of family camping trips, which always featured over the top breakfast, and very indulgent campfire menus. Posters on the walls included, moose, fish, bears. Really takes us back to our childhood vacations in the woods.

Today, same thing, the food was really good. My friend ordered the macaroni and cheese with pork belly, I tasted the mac and it was delicious! I ordered a bacon, egg burger, asked for it to be cooked well, no pink, and it arrived with lots of pink. Instead of sending it back, I just ate half and brought the rest to go so I can cook and eat it later. Our waiter was great, I forget his name though, nice guy. So, when I arrived at 11:15am there was only one other couple seated. I walked in and said hello to the waitress (think her name was Sally), she gave me a very dry hello, I told her I was waiting for someone, she said they weren't there yet, sat me down for two, said something else but it was under her breath, I couldn't hear her, didn't feel very welcomed but it's okay. Our table had crumbs on it, my menu had crumbs on it. I was disappointed but honestly, I just wanted to have a good brunch with my friend so I cleaned it myself. I finally had a moment to take in the decor and it made me feel a little uneasy as I noticed a Hindu Buddha head, some scary dolls, sculptures and some weird decor going on, goats everywhere except one wall that had monkeys on it. Goats and monkeys are fine, just saying it was weird Whatever. Lol That's fine and all but it's just not my thing.

One tip if you're going for the band playing in the front room: don't sit on the enclosed patio. Even with the door open you really can't hear the music from there. I stayed and finished dinner of course because the Reuben was absolutely delicious. One funny moment was being served a beer in a Solo cup. At first it caught me off guard, but honestly with how slammed they were I totally understood -- I wouldn't want to be doing all those extra dishes either. After dinner I moved inside to try to actually hear the band. I ended up seated near the bathrooms, and unfortunately there was a pretty unpleasant smell in that area. Not sure if it was coming from the bathrooms because of how close the table was, but it definitely wasn't the best spot to sit. The hostess who sat me asked if I wanted a drink and I said yes, but about 20 minutes later someone else came over to ask me what I wanted again. I completely get that they were busy, so I'm not upset about it -- but the drink unfortunately never made it to the table. Overall, the food was great and the place clearly draws a crowd for live music, but seating location really matters if you're there for the band
