Avocado toast 5/5. Tasty. Not enough avocado (is there ever enough? :P) but overall delicious.

Okay, so if it wasn't for the atmosphere this place probably would've gotten a 4/5 or 5/5 from me (I personally really enjoyed my avocado toast) It's this cute corner cafe with a lot of potential but missed in a few points. When I enter a cafe, I want a relaxing ambience. I didn't feel that here. Again, the potential of this place is high! They have cute plants and even some other items they sell and with a bit of reorganization I think they can turn this into a bigger gem! I really really enjoyed my avocado toast and my chai latte. It was delicious and it was perfect for take out. I will definitely return to try other items on the menu. Another pro is that the owners seem extremely friendly and provide great service. It seems to be family owned restaurant which also gives it a special touch!

I stopped into this adorable little cafe on my way to Letchworh for breakfast and I'm really glad I did. This place was great, small and quaint with a nice amount of seating and that cozy coffee shop feel. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on their everything bagel an iced coffee and blueberry muffin because I needed a baked good. The sandwich was sooo good and the bacon was just cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the ice coffee with a pump of caramel and a nice flavor throughout. I saved the best for last with the muffin which I ate later that day when resting during my hike. I'd go back for just the muffin! It was so tasty and flavorful I wish I ordered three more! This was a great little stop and one I'm sure to make again when I'm in the area!

Cute place with nice selection of coffee and coffee drinks with hearty sandwiches and breakfast offerings. Trish and her Mom are very friendly and accommodating. They also sell a small selection of homemade Buffalo and 716 themed items. Stop by and eat local and shop local!

This small coffee shop on the corner of lake and Como is cutest little place. It is decorated so uniquely with all sorts of pallet and wood items. They even sell some wood items. I am not a coffee drinker so I ordered a breakfast sandwich. Egg cheese and bacon. I wanted the bacon super crisp and it was not. They let me know ahead of time they may not be able to make it that crisp. However they came out with a plate full of perfect bacon when I was only a few bites in. The large fresh croissant was awesome. My wife loved her avocado toast and wouldn't stop talking about the place. The kids ran around and enjoy some things they had for them to do. Pricing was good, menu was small, and the customer service was Great. We got to chat with the owners and see how passionate they were about their dream. Loved supporting a small mom and pop shop place.

I live in Lancaster and wanted to try the Pallet cafe out as it looked cute and interesting from the pictures and positive reviews that it has been receiving. The staff/owners were very welcoming when we arrived and the inside has an eclectic vibe with the pallet constructed counters and assorted crafts for sale. While the coffee was good the food items fell short from what one would have expected. The pastry that I ordered wasn't as fresh as I would have expected and the avocado toast was ordinary at best. To summarize, I'd return for the coffee, but the menu offering needs recipe and ingredient adjustment.

What a sweet cafe! I was warmly greeted by the employees and I ordered the iced coffee (one size, $2.50). Upon taking my first sip, I was pleasantly surprised to learn their house coffee is vanilla buttercream flavored. The flavor is very subtle, but just enough to taste a little sweetness. The space is nicely renovated and has a cool high-top bar area with electrical outlets. I look forward to returning and trying their waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and assorted pastries. We are so glad to have you in Lancaster, Pallet Cafe!

Avocado toast with tomato, mozzarella and balsamic glaze was a huge thumbs up.

You won't be disappointed if you order the avocado toast. Coffee was delicious as well. I will certainly patronize this cafe again.

Super yummy, small and cozy, kind and neighborhood hang out.

Delicious food, cute comfortable atmosphere, wonderful customer service, neighborhood place

Food was ready about five minutes after my scheduled time, which for as busy as they were, I thought that was great timing. Ordered the big sampler, with pulled chicken, pulled pork, brisket and ribs! Platter is a nice size with large portions, four of us ate on it. The pulled chicken for me was a stand out, so good! 10 piece chicken wings, cheeseburger with fries, pizza logs and crab cake platter. For our sides we tried the mac and cheese, pasta salad, baked beans, mash potatoes and sweet potatoe fries. Everything was good and would get again, except the crab cakes. These were just not good, very fishy, and burnt. The pizza logs were huge! The Mac and cheese had no seasoning, but was cheesy and after little salt and pepper wasn't to bad. Definitely on my top three favorite BBQ spots! I forgot pictures, but enjoy the video!

It was a little busy but a lot of people started leaving and getting done eating as we sat down. We got our drinks and ordered. Then we waited, and waited, and our server didn't come back for a while. She refilled the coffees and then we waited again for a little bit more. It was about 45-50 minutes from when we ordered to when we got our food. We got the other servers attention for some more coffee and juice. When she came over, we asked her to check. Our food came out about five minutes after that. The only thing I could think of was that our order never got in or didn't get communicated. The food was good. At the point we got it, we were so hungry and a little tired so it was eaten quickly. I think the other thing was there was no explanation or reason why the food took so long explained to us. We got pancakes, eggs, and home fries with a couple of breakfast tacos. Shouldn't take that long and other people getting their orders and leaving before we ever got food was not great. There was nothing discounted, no explanation, and just not a great experience. I would maybe go back but definitely not at the top of my list based on my first visit.

Today, same thing, the food was really good. My friend ordered the macaroni and cheese with pork belly, I tasted the mac and it was delicious! I ordered a bacon, egg burger, asked for it to be cooked well, no pink, and it arrived with lots of pink. Instead of sending it back, I just ate half and brought the rest to go so I can cook and eat it later. Our waiter was great, I forget his name though, nice guy. So, when I arrived at 11:15am there was only one other couple seated. I walked in and said hello to the waitress (think her name was Sally), she gave me a very dry hello, I told her I was waiting for someone, she said they weren't there yet, sat me down for two, said something else but it was under her breath, I couldn't hear her, didn't feel very welcomed but it's okay. Our table had crumbs on it, my menu had crumbs on it. I was disappointed but honestly, I just wanted to have a good brunch with my friend so I cleaned it myself. I finally had a moment to take in the decor and it made me feel a little uneasy as I noticed a Hindu Buddha head, some scary dolls, sculptures and some weird decor going on, goats everywhere except one wall that had monkeys on it. One tip if you're going for the band playing in the front room: don't sit on the enclosed patio. Even with the door open you really can't hear the music from there. I stayed and finished dinner of course because the Reuben was absolutely delicious. One funny moment was being served a beer in a Solo cup. At first it caught me off guard, but honestly with how slammed they were I totally understood -- I wouldn't want to be doing all those extra dishes either. After dinner I moved inside to try to actually hear the band. I ended up seated near the bathrooms, and unfortunately there was a pretty unpleasant smell in that area. Not sure if it was coming from the bathrooms because of how close the table was, but it definitely wasn't the best spot to sit. The hostess who sat me asked if I wanted a drink and I said yes, but about 20 minutes later someone else came over to ask me what I wanted again. I completely get that they were busy, so I'm not upset about it -- but the drink unfortunately never made it to the table. Overall, the food was great and the place clearly draws a crowd for live music, but seating location really matters if you're there for the band
