Mango Arabian Smoothie

Delicious drinks! The mango Arabian smoothie has dates in it and it's a great combo. The pistachio latte hits the spot, just sweet enough but not overpowering. Staff was friendly and it was a nice spot to sit and chat for a bit.

Friendly staff, yummy food/drink and nice little dining area. Upon looking in the case, I was a tad disappointed to see they did not have some items I saw pictures of from previous reviews (in particular what I think is kunafa; picture didn't have a caption), but they did have the beehive bread. My friend and I both got the adeni chai and I got the beehive bread. What a treat! The chai was flavorful with many spices and different than any other chai I've had before... And I've had many. It was really good! The beehive bread was amazingly delicious! Sweet bread with little "hives" filled with cream cheese and topped with black sesame and honey. A perfect combination of salty and sweet. It came out warmed, which made it even better. Each "hive" pops off as a little ball making it fun to eat in addition to being so tasty!

Beautiful Cafe nicely decorated and delicious sweets with Turkish coffee. They also have Chai teas, other coffees, smoothies, and milkshakes. Very friendly staff!

Place is super pretty warm and cozy but they take hella long to get you your food even if there's not much customers.

I had a feeling as soon as I walked in that I would be impressed. Full disclaimer, my family and I were pretty hungry upon entering. However I had specifically planned on coming here based on reviews to check it out myself. AMBIANCE - VERY clean and welcoming when walking in. Bright natural light with beautiful artwork and pictures of Yemen. Lovely Arabic music playing softly in the background with green vibes and plants all over the ceiling. PROS - goodness this food was tasty! The beehive seems like it's nothing special when described, but it was drop dead delicious! Wow. We actually were fighting over who would have the last few bites. My family and I are pretty territorial with food. Our wraps were amazing. Had the Manjona wrap that had eggs and some sauces in it. Almost tasted like a hint of peanut butter inside but I could be wrong! The owner/staff were very courteous and helpful in explaining the food. CONS - nothing really, perhaps more of a written explanation of what some of the dishes are. But truly, I have nothing g bad to say about this establishment FINAL THOUGHTS - totally try it! I would love to go again next time I'm in the area. I wish nothing but success for this cafe! Yum!

I haven't stopped in in a while because I recently moved from the area but had to stop in as I was passing today. They are in the process of updating their menu so I just grabbed an adeni chai. They've redone the decor and layout though and it looks amazing!

food was amazing! we ordered egg sandwich and jam & cheese sandwiches. they tasted good. it was hunger fulfilling. we ordered Yamani tea as well. for me, I did not enjoy the tea because the spices were super strong. I like the Yamani tea in general . but this one was a little too strong. The service was not bad but it took them so long ( 20 minutes) to sever the 2 sandwiches and the tea. the atmosphere was nice. there are some outdoor seats which was great for breakfast and brunch mood. I will come here again.

This has quickly become one of our favorite new spots in Buffalo! We love the food, atmosphere, and the owner and his son are so nice and friendly. We have enjoyed talking with them about their lives restaurant and things to come. They've got lots of yummy food and drinks and more to come with a lunch service and deli soon to come! Love it here can't wait to go back. PS try the eggs n such and a Chai tea you won't be disappointed!

Great time, good vibes, the décor beautiful! great place to study plus wifi is available, not a lot of traffic. Music playing softly in the back ground. Service was quick! Coffee was delicious! They offer deserts, & cold beverages... a great place to stop by and relax and chat for a bit!

Very clean and neat. Highly recommend checking this place out. Adeni chai is amazing. Beehive is tasty and one of the best. Better than NYC area places

So glad I popped in to taste a big Majnona sandwich & small Adeni chai at Socotra Cafe. This little gem is a peaceful, soothing oasis of calm in the heart of Lackawanna. For less than $16, I enjoyed the most uniquely spiced Adeni Chai ($4.50, such delicious spiciness, worth every penny) & a Majnona sandwich ($8, has "a little of everything in it" which was sweetly filled with what I guess was hard boiled eggs, jam, halawa, cream cheese & any other possible yummy mystery fillings ). Soothing music played while I waited for my meal to be made to order. A group of contractors were in a lively but friendly conversation about politics, a couple was having a little romantic coffee date, & many patrons who appeared to be close friends with the owner stopped in. Owner himself said hello...noticed I'd taken photos of the pastries & said "take photos when our trays are full of freshly baked goods!" I'd arrived about 1.5 hours before closing, & everything still looked beautiful & freshly made.

The thought of helping the environment even just a little bit - which adds up to a whole lot considering the amount of to-go beverage consumption daily - really adds up to make a huge impact! But let's get back to Sevens - thank you for enlightening my day by your choice of packaging. The (hot( almond joy latte i ordered was awesome, as was the hash brown i shared with the hubs. I love the comfy inviting decor and service was friendly and top notch. I was second in line but it quickly stretched to the door as more ppl came for their cup of Joe's and even tho it was clearly under-staffed we all waited happily to place our order. Oh and opening 7 days a week (because you're Sevens!?! Hmm...) means I'll be back again soon because why oh why most ALL the best cafes are closed on Mon&Tues baffles me but since YOU are open i'll be back :)

Good, enjoyed it. I have only been here a couple of times, whereas I've been to the other location at least 500 times (not kidding), I used to hang out there for hours on end. Some pretty bad things happened to me there, which is why I stopped going, but it's most definitely not the owner's fault and it's definitely not anything to do with the products at all. I was lucky enough to run into the owner (Tony) in Houston in what was a pretty amazing coincidence. The guy is a good guy, and it was lovely to see him. I thought it was awesome that he recognized me. I'd definitely come back in here or to the other location which I spent so much time in, if I am ever up in Buffalo again, which I'm sure I will be. Lots of great memories for me, and an owner who I'm happy to call my friend, and I'll always love the taste of that milk tea with honey instead of sugar and I like it even better with the almond milk! And it's now painted somewhat blue on the inside... maybe they should call it Teal Leaf!

In my opinion it is pretty spacious for a coffee shop with plenty of seating (including outdoor in the summer), we have never had an issue finding a place to sit even on busy weekend mornings. They have a rewards system based on your phone number which makes it easy without having to remember to bring a punch card.
