OK this rap will BE BRIEF Which I'm sure is a RE LIEF Sure, sip my tea, you TEA THIEF You're like Mick Jagger. ME? KEITH Last night some dude with THREE TEETH Started giving ME GRIEF I'm like "What is THE BEEF? Why you come for ME CHIEF?" He said "it is my BE-LIEF That you believe in FREE SPEECH" I said "let's all save the CORAL REEF But first let's go to TEA LEAF WHAT Tried them shortly after opening - classic milk tea with almond milk, honey instead of sugar - actually tasted like tea and good tapioca, smaller than the other location. Good, enjoyed it. I have only been here a couple of times, whereas I've been to the other location at least 500 times (not kidding), I used to hang out there for hours on end. Some pretty bad things happened to me there, which is why I stopped going, but it's most definitely not the owner's fault and it's definitely not anything to do with the products at all. I was lucky enough to run into the owner (Tony) in Houston in what was a pretty amazing coincidence. The guy is a good guy, and it was lovely to see him. I thought it was awesome that he recognized me. I'd definitely come back in here or to the other location which I spent so much time in, if I am ever up in Buffalo again, which I'm sure I will be. Lots of great memories for me, and an owner who I'm happy to call my friend, and I'll always love the taste of that milk tea with honey instead of sugar and I like it even better with the almond milk! And it's now painted somewhat blue on the inside... maybe they should call it Teal Leaf! read more

Tea leaf cafe is my favorite non-alcoholic hang out spot in the evening. In fact, in Hamburg, it might be the last one left! Anyways they have a huge selection of all things tea. Hot, iced, milk teas, premium, flavored, sweetened, popping bobas, pearls, etc. they are always happy to help you choose, with such a huge menu, bringing someone new sometimes feels like you'll overwhelm them, but the staff is always kind. read more

Went with a friend the other day for bubble tea. My friend purchased a hot beverage instead. The ordering process was similar to their location on Maple Rd; you call in order, or order online for pickup due to COVID19. The takeout process is safe, simple and efficent. Your order is placed in a bag; labeled with your name and the outside of the location has a digital screen to let you know when your order is ready. Tip: If your using your 716 gift card, be sure to let either location know as each requires a different zip code to process correctly. read more

Get the Thai Tea ! I have been coming to both locations (maple) for years since opened, they offer such a wide variety of bubble tea-things. They have busting boba, regular boba, jelly boba, etc. Recently they've updated their Thai tea recipe and it's one of my favorites in the area! read more

I've been a TLC customer ever since I was a freshman in college. They have the best teas in the Buffalo area and their milk tea options are not too "milk-y." I've never been to this location, but decided to give it a try this past weekend when I went to Woodlawn Beach. You order via their website and grab your drink from their side door. The process was super easy. I ordered a mango passionfruit with extra bubbles and less sugar. Their smoothies come in their large size only. It's a little much for me, and I wish they had a regular size for smoothies. The less sugar option was perfect for me. My drink didn't feel watered down at all. I always get extra bubbles because they don't seem to give enough bubbles. It's not a big deal thought because it's only 25 cents extra versus other places that charge 50 cents for your first scoop. I also highly recommend their taro milk tea. That's also one of my faves! I love TLC and will always come back! They're my go to place here for BT. read more

I saw this place construction but took me month and month before I decided to check it out after the opening. Better late than never lol. I was having major meltdown so I asked my bf to take me here just to get out of the house. I'm glad I did. They have a nice comfy couch. The decor is minimalist with artsy wall painting. We ordered milk tea Japanese matcha with tapioca pearl. So yummy... I definitely will comeback. They have many different options. And even as if not many people inside, they have stream of steady patron. I recommend this place just to chill and enjoy time. read more

Stuck on a mainly liquid diet after my surgery. Wanted some bubble tea. I had called, trying to place an order over the phone, but they don't accept orders over the phone. I ordered a green guava passion fruit tea with lychee jelly on the cafe's website. They're currently only accepting online orders and you have to pick them up at the side door. There is a shelf on the right side when you enter and that is where the orders sit. They are not accepting orders by phone or in the restaurant due to the current situation. I'm very pleased with my order. It's super refreshing for a hot summer day. read more

Probably one of my new favorite places to hang out when I'm on a budget, I'm determined to try as much of the menu as I can! Customer service is excellent, they can answer any questions you might have or make suggestions if you are new to Bubble tea. A couch near a full bookshelf and several other seating set ups perfect for big groups, a date , or just relaxing solo. Also, two thumbs up for the music selection, I like the laid back alternative vibe. Bookmarked a couple other bubble tea establishments after I discovered this place, but Tea Leaf sets the bar awfully high with great service and product! read more

It's so nice to have a place to get bubble tea in the southtowns. We stopped in to check out the place and grab a drink. Sadly, there were no other customers inside, though a couple people did come in to purchase a drink and take out with them. The cashier was helpful letting us know what could be made dairy free. Our drinks were yummy, though we both hated the amount of plastic waste that resulted from our visit. read more

I've been searching a long time for boba in buffalo and who knew it was in my backyard. Still cant sit in the cafe. So many choices of Flavors there's something to please everyone. The Blasdell location packs just as much of a punch as the original location in Amherst! The ordering process has changed due to COVID, but I can't complain. You can order by phone or online, if you order through their website it's super easy to customize your drink. You'll get a text once your order is ready, then you go to the side door where they'll have it sitting on a shelf. Very easy! I do love all the options they have for tea flavors and toppings. They offer lychee jelly which I absolutely love and add to each of my orders. My only gripe is that I don't believe you're able to customize your desired sweetness level. The fruit tea here is insanely sweet, no matter the flavor. If I could have a "less sweet" option for my tea, I'd be the happiest girl in the world. read more

I'm so ridiculously excited to have a bubble tea place open in the Southtowns! Obviously being one of their first nights open, they had a long line with a little bit of a wait. But nothing crazy by any means. Their menu is well organized for people who didn't really know what to order, and they were very fast and efficient. They also have a punch card rewards program (such a plus for me) - buy 10 get 1 free! I'm so excited to explore their menu, and I can't wait until they really get into the swing of things. read more

Currently because of Covid-19, this business is takeout only. You can't eat in. You can't pay inside for takeout either. You must order online and pay online. They aren't offering food right now, only desserts and drinks. I was disappointed but I guess it makes sense at this current time of the pandemic. I ordered a hot chai tea with skim milk and sugar. I didn't add boba bubbles or any of those funky things. It would've tasted weird in a hot tea. I received a text after ordering and a text when my drink was ready to be picked up. You need to enter the business through the side door. There is a digital sign to the left of the door. On the left hand side of the sign, it mentions whose orders are in progress. On the right hand side it mentions whose orders are ready for pick up. The entrance is blocked by a big bookcase type structure with slots in it. In the openings there are orders that are ready to be picked up. My drink was in a paper bag with a sticker for my name and my order was taped to the front. I thanked them, grabbed my order and left. The employees seemed hard at work and it is a nice system during the pandemic. I'll probably wait a couple months to return, to see if things have changed. read more

Finally a bubble tea place in the south towns! Upon walking in the location is very open and smells great! The menu is huge, lots of tea options and even some small plates to enjoy for a small bite! The staff was friendly and excited to be there! Upon ordering I got a loganberry black tea with boba and rainbow jelly! The combo was delicious and I would have never thought that flavor combo would be that addicting! We also got a cold taro milk tea with the regular tapioca pearls and lychee jellies. The flavor was solid, faint on the taro taste but the jellies really made up with sweetness. They have some kinks to work out just because they are just opening but with the way they were ready for their customers was a breath of fresh air. I'm excited to get my tea fix here all the time!! read more

If you want quality bubble tea this is it! They have a huge variety of teas and coffee. They carry small plates of scallion pancakes and dumplings. The tea is the star though. Everyone is really knowledgeable about all the flavors and combos . I often just say make me something tropical and let them make me something. They different tapioca if your not found of black they have bursting . They also have Speciality teas. I like white peach with a splash of milk hot with tapioca bubbles. So much to choose from. They have punch cards , when you get 10 you get a free drink. Only for regular bubble teas. Not hot teas. . Ask if unsure. Nice atmosphere. read more
