I love the tea & coffee options. Very unique flavors and very chill atmosphere. The ladies at the counter were very helpful in explaining the difference in flavor options. Perfect place for a Sunday afternoon.

This place has quickly become my go-to for refreshing, high-quality boba with a unique twist whenever I'm in the area. Their menu is full of creative flavors, from classic milk teas to fruit teas and signature specials that you won't find anywhere else. I tried the Matcha Latte with Brown Sugar Boba, and it was perfect--rich, smooth matcha balanced by the sweetness of the caramelized boba pearls. The tea quality is top-notch, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients in every drink. They also have bubble waffles !!! The interior of Icha Cafe is also lovely. It's bright, clean, and has a modern, cozy vibe with plenty of seating, making it a perfect spot to catch up with friends or get some work done while sipping your favorite tea. On top of that, the staff is friendly and attentive, always happy to customize drinks to your preferences (like adjusting sweetness levels or adding extra toppings). You can feel their passion for making each drink just right. If you're a boba fan, Icha Cafe is a must-visit. Between the variety, quality, and great atmosphere, this spot is a bubble tea paradise! Highly recommend trying their seasonal specials too--they never disappoint!

We absolutely loved coming in here for the first time. It is well decorated and inviting. We were looking for food.... Everything in the plaza was closed besides Mighty and Pho54 which apparently charges you extra just to pay, so we walked across the street to see what was in this cafe. We were greeted by the male owner who was very nice and helpful! We said we'd be back! We went and ate mighty and came back for Boba! He was very helpful in Kate picking her drink item, giving her recommendations, same with my mom. I didn't get one but that's because I still had my Starbucks drinks . This place is wonderful! They use good quality ingredients, cups are thicker than most which helps keep it cool and not dripping, and very friendly! 10/10 would come again.

my favorite boba shop in buffalo! in a good plaza near north campus. the interior is soooo cute they have plushies, a led light sign, clouds, lego toys etc. and there's even a table to play board games or color. friendly service sometimes it gets busy so i usually try to order ahead for pick up. it's a little pricey though so it definitely adds up but would still recommend. my go to is the lychee green tea yakult with no toppings or the roasted rose oolong with pudding!

Stopped by this place because it was conveniently located in the plaza where I was staying. They have a variety of drinks and even egg waffle desserts on the menu so there is definitely something for everyone. I ended up getting the strawberry slush with cheese foam and thought that this was a very refreshing option. The person who was taking my order suggested that I adjust the sugar level in this drink because it does tend to be on the sweeter side, which I thought was very thoughtful of her for mentioning. There was only one person taking orders and making the drinks when I visited which contributed to a longer wait time. Nonetheless, very great addition to the Amherst area!

Some of the best bubble tea around, the cheese they put on top does it every time for me. Really cute place too, it's just not really made for sitting. Always quick service. Only reason I don't drink it every day being cost and it's not super close.

I was excited Icha Cafe is finally open again so I could try it! I think they are still in the soft opening phase (some more interior work to be done, menu not in English yet) but the staff was welcoming. The inside decor feels modern and is nicely done. I got a milk tea and my date the peach tea. I liked the milk tea because it was stronger in the black tea flavor versus the milk which I like. The tapioca pearls were perfect. I really would like to come back when I can read the full menu but I'm loving this place so far. Can't wait to try what else they have to offer!

Lychee fruit tea with lychee jelly! Delicious and not overly sweet at 30% sweetness!

Cute little tea shop. We stopped in to grab a quick drink. They're taking precautions and wearing masks still, which is a massive selling point! The fruit teas let you decide on sweetness from none, 30%, 50%, 70%, 100% and 120%! I went with 30% though because lychee is already pretty sweet. It's a delicious little drink with a hint of rose (yum!) and when I'm in the area I'll definitely stop in again.

I hope that this review will find a way to REACH YA Because I really need to learn ya, I mean TEACH YA Lots of Boba is fake, and fake Boba's a BEACH YA But now there is a real one and it is called ICHA! You must come and try it ASAP I BESEECH YA If you're Zak or Kelly then this Boba will SCREECH YA Get the fruit, the mango or the passion fruit or PEACH YA And the Oolong Milk Tea which is my fave drink at ICHA! The servers are so friendly they are so happy to GREET YA I wanna put them on Insta, all over social MEDIA And if you post a picture of them, I'll try to RETWEET YA Because I'm so happy for more real Bubble Tea at ICHA! If you hire me for a few hours, maybe I'll TREAT YA And no, you can no longer hire me right off the STREET YA If you bring some sushi make sure it ain't fake CRABMEAT YA And if you want some real Boba come and drink at ICHA! WHAT You like my reviews? Right back icha! Mere days before I leave Buffalo forever, it gets its most authentic and ambitious and "New York/Toronto-style" real Taiwanese boba shop ever. The region has been crying out for one for years, perhaps decades. KFT has been carrying the flag of authenticity and excellence on North Campus and doing it well. Now there is another. And it's awesome. Currently: soft opening, no menu, no change for cash, not much decor, no sign out front, don't expect a polished place. But what is already there is the amazing quality of the drinks and the truly wonderful service. Deserves 10 stars. What to get: Oolong Milk tea w tapioca, Fruit teas. What not to get: A rash on your privates, because then you might have to icha yourself in front of people which might be gross unless they're into that which itself is gross. Just spent 4 days trying 100 Boba spots (no I'm not kidding) in greater Toronto. Sadly I didn't get to Spadina's legendary "Icha Tea", so put it on a (long) list for "Boba to try next time." Well, you know what they say about mountains coming to Mohammad and such. I was leaving China Taste today when I see two girls with authentic-looking Bobas that I don't recognize. I chase them down (I'm not creepy at all!) and ask, from where? They point to "Yotopia." Oh. I didn't even know Yotopia did Boba. Weird. Must suck. Skip for now. That night, I get a lovely message Joanne L (Buffalo by way of Great Neck, and I'm sure she does have a great neck). I must try Icha Tea, she says! Soft opening! Across from China Taste, she says... where Yotopia used to be! Then it clicks. The Yotopia sign remains, but it's a shiny new Boba place... named Icha Tea, from Toronto. Yes, the same Icha. 4 days after I missed out on it in T-Dot, it pops up here. If FoxE aka BobaBae can't go to the Boba.... The Boba comes to BobaBae. WNY's 2nd truly authentic Taiwanese Boba place, like KFT born in N America, like KFT authentic AF and amazing. These two stores propel WNY Boba to a new level, I hope they support each other. Tea Leaf is fun and some drinks and employees are great, but it's typical US Boba, really - syrup, powders, sugar, smoothie-obsessed crowd. KFT and Icha are the real thing. Icha is unique here tho. It's trendy, natural-tasting, classic, Asian. Low on sugar, fresh fruits, strong tea taste. Right up my alley. So far I've had: Black Milk tea - prob the best BMT in WNY. Oolong Milk Tea - exceptional - the best milk tea in WNY. Rarely love Oolong more than Black. Here - I totally do. Apple Fruit Tea w/ Oolong - off menu bc I hate green tea. Chunks of apple, slices of orange too (all their fruit teas too, super pretty). Not sweet, fruity, light, refreshing, didn't love it as much as my obsession (KFT's Lemon Black Tea), yet gulped it straight down - natural, healthy, and good. I'll be trying Passion Fruit, Peach, Pineapple, Grape, Mango teas. The owner said "try a Smoothie, Americans love them." If only he knew who he's talking to ;) Want real Boba? NYC/Cali Boba? Toronto Boba? Come to Icha. KFT (and their Lemon Black Tea) will always be the love of my WNY life, but Icha is definitively at the top table with KFT now. If you come with mafia dudes, watch out they don't CONCRETE YA I must warn you Tea Leaf fans that these drinks aren't as SWEET YA But that is better for you, esp if you're a sex ATHLETE YA Which is what I call myself while I'm in line at ICHA! I heard if you drink this Boba you'll get Yelp ELITE YA OK that's bull, I hope you don't believe what I EXCRETE YA But I'll be in the bathroom, so join me if you're DISCRETE YA And we can have a "Boba experience" right here at ICHA! If we end up with Boba Babies that would be so NEAT YA If we end up married then I don't mind if you CHEAT YA I know some guys would dump you, yell, or try to kill or BEAT YA But I would never, I would just take you for drinks at ICHA! WHAT (no really, I like being cheated on, not even kidding)

Matcha Red Bean Waffle
Zach G.

I ordered takeout from a neighboring restaurant while in town for work and while waiting saw this place and figured I'd run over and get some bubble tea to drink with my dinner. I ended up getting matcha cream cheese tea instead after seeing all their menu offerings and got a Hong Kong style egg waffle ice cream dessert. The cream cheese matcha tea was very delicious. I got the regular sugar option and it was perfect. Not too sweet where it's hard to drink and sweet enough to not taste "black". The waffle cone ice cream dessert was incredible as well. Vanilla ice cream with matcha powder and red beans stuffed into a warm waffle is a sure fire winner. The waffle was delicious and each segment pulled right off. The ice cream with the toppings was also very delicious. Service was rather slow, but it seemed like they were understaffed as the 2 girls working seemed to be running back and forth from store front to the back. A 3rd employee showed up as I was leaving to help though so I imagine that was the case.

I been to this new bubble tea place before it was official on yelp. It was still in the process of designing everything. When I walked in, it was really pretty already even though their signs aren't up yet and the window was still covered. The interior was all marble design. It looked fresh and bright. The small designs on the tables were very cute. I ordered the All in one drink which is milk green tea with boba, herbal jelly, and pudding. My friend ordered milk green tea with red beans. It had a really strong tea flavor which I like. The pudding was very blend though. My friends drink was just like mine but just different toppings. One down side about it when we first went was the fact that the menu wasn't in English. It was all in Chinese. I know how to read some but not hard so we just basically went by the picture. Will definitely go back again though and try other drinks

Is Icha Tea open yet? Last time I tried going they were closed because they were putting up a new sign.

Thank you for your patience and support to us. We are currently open from 12 p.m. to 11p.m. for Sunday to Thursday and 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. for Friday and Saturday. Thank you!

I drove by here last Tuesday and it was closed since they didn't have an official sign up. Has anyone visited since May 14th? I'd like to visit sometime this week if it's open!

They seem like they'll be opening soon! They weren't allowed to open before with the Yotality signs still up (or so I heard). The old signs are down and the new window decals are up now.

What are the hours?

It's 11 A.M.-11P.M. from Sunday to Thursday and 11 A.M. - 12 A.M. for Friday and Saturday. However, the summer open time will be one hour late which is 12 P.M.-11P.M. from Sunday to Thursday and 12 P.M. - 12 A.M. Thank you!

Where is this place? I've drove around in circles and didn't notice it in the plaza.

It's where the old frozen yogurt place is. The frozen yogurt sign is still. They didn't put a new one up yet

10/10 Experience at Tea Leaf Cafe!…read more Tea Leaf Cafe in Buffalo is easily one of my favorite spots in the city. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is cozy, clean, and welcoming. It's the perfect place to relax, hang out with friends, or just enjoy some quiet time. The drinks are AMAZING. Whether you're getting classic milk tea, fruit tea, or something more unique, everything tastes super fresh and perfectly balanced -- not overly sweet, just right. The boba texture is always on point too. You can tell they really care about quality. The staff is friendly, patient, and fast with orders, even when it's busy. They make you feel appreciated as a customer. If you're in Buffalo and love bubble tea (or even if you're trying it for the first time), I 100% recommend Tea Leaf Cafe. Definitely a 10/10 -- I'll keep coming back!

Came here after having a meal next door at Anchi. There was a good amount of people walking in and…read moreout of the cafe, so I thought I might as well take a visit. Upon walking in, there's a list of drink options they have the base of milk tea or fruit tea - whether you want a regular tea or smoothie form as well. I really liked the high number of options (compared to spots I've been to in Toronto it's usually a typical menu). They also had a few new additions and employee recommendations. Mango Smoothie: I decided to go for a mango smoothie since it's a safe option. Pretty big size portion, more than enough for what I was looking for. It was exactly what I expected from a mango smoothie. Lots of seating and a very chill spot to go with friends. The cafe also had some board games too. They were pretty quick with their service. I certainly see why it's a busy spot for locals here!
