Coconut Milk Tea

The staff is super friendly. The menu is amazing. They offer a wide variety of choices and flavors.

Really cute place with a fun vibe. The food was okay - needs some improvement - chicken was a bit dry and same with the pork but still very tasty. The fruit teas are great - it's a fun way to treat yourself - and it seemed very authentic to what you may see in Korea or Japan. The downside was it wasn't as clean as I'd like and it was a bit difficult to understand the menu. My husband and I did enjoy ourselves overall but would like to see some improvements over time like keeping it clean and making it easier to understand the types of food and drinks. Also I had to ask if food items were gluten free and the staff wasn't able to tell me what items didn't use wheat I had to figure that out on my own / which I can but when you're dining out and you're intolerant to gluten it's helpful for the staff to know what's cooked with wheat flour, etc. With that said we will try it again if not for anything else but the drinks and vibe!

Classic Milk Tea

We went on a Sunday at 1pm, there was just a couple of people inside so no line. There is a single kiosk where you select your order, the machine was a little slow scrolling through the options but you can also go up to the counter. It's cute inside with pictures on the wall of all the food items. The music playing was a bit loud and I don't know what type of music it was, but we found it to be obnoxious though that could be due to the volume. We ordered two classic milk teas with brown sugar boba, we selected light ice and less sugar. Once we got the drink there was just a single ice cube and it melted shortly after, the drink was warm not cold at all. I know we selected light ice, but I've done this at other places and the drink managed to still be cold. The drink also had no flavor at all and the boba had a little flavor. I would not recommend getting a classic milk tea from here, we could not drink them due to the lack of flavor and warmth. We also ordered Fried Potstickers, it came with 4 and a sauce. They were overcooked and burnt. Something within the potsticker I did not like, it could just be me, but I did not enjoy the taste. Overall, we are not returning to this restaurant.

Milk & Tea offers Vietnamese & Korean fusion food as well as boba tea. On this visit, my friend and I opted for food, but I'd like to visit again for boba. The service was friendly, but a little slow. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you at whichever table you choose. We ordered grilled pork vermicelli (gf) and flaming hot shrimp noodles. The price on the printed menu was not accurate for my dish; it was listed as $15, but rang up as $19. The wait was quite a while (25min+) and there were not a lot of people in the restaurant. Perhaps they had a lot of online orders and I believe each dish is made fresh, which does take time. They were also a bit on the pricey side for the portion sizes in our opinion. We both really enjoyed our dishes and could tell they were made with fresh ingredients. They were flavorful and offered a few different textures as well from the meat, noodles and fresh veggies. I had the flaming hot shrimp, but it fell a little short for me in the heat area... With a name like "flaming hot", I was expecting to get more spiciness. All in all, we had a good experience and would return.

Love this place! There are kpop events from time to time and I love attending and treating myself to some of the best bubble tea I'm the area! Forgot what I ordered last time, but everything has been yummy and amazingly priced. Service is amazing and their single service kiosk helps when the line is backed up. Complementary water, nice bathroom, amazing vibe. Will definitely be coming back again!

Milk and Tea is a super cute bubble tea shop and restaurant. I've been a few times and have gotten bubble tea, hibiscus tea and also food. They have a great variety of teas, toppings and appetizers along with main dishes. My favorite so far has been taro and hibiscus. I like that they have plenty of seating areas with cute decorations and even some mini claw machines! They have a great Vietnamese food variety and I have personally enjoyed the pork and shrimp vermicelli rice bowl and bah mi sandwich. Unfortunately I would've like to try the pork belly dish which I only saw after ordering on the specials menu at the table. My only complaint is that the food always seems to take a very long time to come out which needs to be kept in mind especially when eating it. The food has been great and I can tell it is made fresh but the timing may need improvement. Last time I came with 4 friends who all got their food after about 20 minutes, but my dish didn't come out until 20 minutes after theirs, so about 40 total minutes to get my noodle bowl which seems a bit long. I will likely be back but I would probably only order ahead of time or order takeout since the food takes awhile. But overall, the food and drinks are enjoyable and it is a nice spot.

as always, milk and tea provides a perfect boba experience this tea was a little more milkshake-y but the flavor was divine. a perfect treat, lovely staff, and a little cow that just won't quit see you guys soon

Good place for some quick eats from light bites to full meals. Been there now for a few different things and a couple items I recommend are: Bahn Mi sandwiches, korean fried chicken bites, sweet and sour shrimp, and the milk tea (tons of options there!). I think it's a nice spot to connect with a friend for low-key counter service experience with some fun touches inside (if you want blow a couple bucks on the claw machine in there, lol)

Pineapple Lemonade with Boba

I have become a boba fan this past year and the number of boba spots in Buffalo going up has me feeling great! I have been trying spots and stopped into Milk and Tea for a quick drink on my way home. The inside of the shop is so nice with plenty of Instagram photo potential. I ordered the pineapple green tea with boba and my wife got the lavender taro with boba. Both of these drinks were very good and had a really great flavor. A couple of improvements I would love for next time are more boba. Such a big cup and I felt like there wasn't a lot of boba in the bottom. There was also so many seeds in mine from the lemons, it really made drinking it kind of annoying at times. Pricing here is a little higher than other places and the sizes are a little weird. Overall, a great drink but they're just outside of my top 3 boba places in Buffalo right. Hoping to move them up soon!

Bits of Wire scrubbing pad in our food!!
Crimson R.

BEWARE. STEEL WOOL IN OUR FOOD!!! We ordered pad Thai, fried rice, egg rolls and Korean chicken. Upon last bite, we pulled out what appeared to be a piece of the wiry steel wool scrubbing pads that people scrub pots and pans with. They (Ariana and another staff) confirmed they use these in the kitchen and weren't sure how it got in the food. However the Manager and owner - despite confirming this was from their kitchen - refused to comp our meal.

Christmas exchange with friends
Darlene B.

Stopped in the other evening, with a few friends to exchange belated Christmas presents. The atmosphere and staff were definitely 5 stars, the reason for the 3 stars: value and price. I'm not really a fan of milk bubble tea, and prefer the fruit tea...was a little bummed there wasn't a regular size and only a large. The large was pricy in my opinion, as other bubble tea places(Tea Leaf) are a bit less expensive. The alternatives for tea selection and milk with no upcharge was a benefit. Interesting selection of food as well, didnt order anything, nor did my friends. Nice place, just beware tapioca or bobba are extra in addition to your beverage. My suggestion offer a smaller size for fruit tea, and I may give it another chance.

We stopped by for a spicy bubble tea while we were at the Taste of Buffalo. This particular drink was one of the best things I had at the taste of buffalo, with it being sweet, sour, spicy, and simply unique. It also came with this candy straw thing, which was basically a plastic straw wrapped in a spicy sweet tamarind paste. It was extremely messy to eat, so my wife decided to let me enjoy it. It was good! I would definitely purchase this again and try out some of their other items.

10/10 Experience at Tea Leaf Cafe!…read more Tea Leaf Cafe in Buffalo is easily one of my favorite spots in the city. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is cozy, clean, and welcoming. It's the perfect place to relax, hang out with friends, or just enjoy some quiet time. The drinks are AMAZING. Whether you're getting classic milk tea, fruit tea, or something more unique, everything tastes super fresh and perfectly balanced -- not overly sweet, just right. The boba texture is always on point too. You can tell they really care about quality. The staff is friendly, patient, and fast with orders, even when it's busy. They make you feel appreciated as a customer. If you're in Buffalo and love bubble tea (or even if you're trying it for the first time), I 100% recommend Tea Leaf Cafe. Definitely a 10/10 -- I'll keep coming back!

Upon walking in, there's a list of drink options they have the base of milk tea or fruit tea - whether you want a regular tea or smoothie form as well. I really liked the high number of options (compared to spots I've been to in Toronto it's usually a typical menu). They also had a few new additions and employee recommendations. Mango Smoothie: I decided to go for a mango smoothie since it's a safe option. Pretty big size portion, more than enough for what I was looking for. It was exactly what I expected from a mango smoothie. Lots of seating and a very chill spot to go with friends. The cafe also had some board games too. They were pretty quick with their service. I certainly see why it's a busy spot for locals here!

I got the B5 Banh Mi Bo (Lemongrass beef) - the bread was soft, the beef was tender and flavorful, and the veggies were crisp. No notes! I also tried a few different drinks and all of them were delicious. Tapioca pearls can be hit-or-miss in my opinion, but these had the perfect bite vs chew ratio that only fresh, perfectly-prepared boba has. I usually find myself struggling to find something unique and delicious when it comes to mall food, and I don't look forward to in-store shopping as much as I used to, but Boba Stop is really doing some heavy lifting for Galleria Mall - I'll come for the Banh Mi then stay for the mall walks and window shopping every time!

While we were walking around, I had a feeling it was time for lunch. Nothing against the food court in the Galleria but Boba Stop just hits the spot and isn't super fast food like a few of the other choices. We ended up getting a dirty milk boba with tapioca, a pineapple fruit tea, and a couple of banh mi sandwiches. The bread was crispy and baked beautifully. The toppings tasted fresh. The lemongrass beef was delicious. This is a masterpiece of a sandwich and it seems to be my favorite when I go. The service here is always friendly and fast. Their spot in the mall is pretty central and it has a good vibe inside. It is very open and doesn't feel like the other mall food options as much. This stop will always be on my list whenever I am at the mall.
