I was about to treat myself to a coffee shop cold beverage nearby, and then saw this store and wanted to check it out because I have never heard of it. The store is large with many staff. I ordered the taro coconut milk tea with salted cheese topping based on another Yelper's review. I have never tried that salted cheese, it was interesting, I liked it. The beverage was served in a nice plastic cup and had multiple drinking opportunities; a large straw, a normal sized straw, and drinking by mouth. I also got a sesame ball which was only a dollar. I am a huge bubble tea person and when I saw that a new place opened right around the corner, I had to go check it out. Unfortunately it was Covid time, so I decided to get a to-go even though the interior looked so inviting. The ambience was casual and tasteful and they had a pretty big seating area which would accommodate big groups. I had been looking for cheese milk foam tea (I know it sounds weird, but you've got to try it before you judge it) in Buffalo ever since I had it in California and was delighted to see that this place had it on their menu. I was also surprised to see that they had 'bursting' boba as a topping so I went with my classic taro milk tea with yogurt flavored bursting boba and cheese foam as toppings. I asked for less sugar and they obliged. The drink turned out great with the right level of sweetness and the bursting boba was so cool when it 'popped' in my mouth. It is essentially a thin layer of tapioca with yogurt filling/ flavor. The cheese foam wasn't as great as I remembered but still tasted pretty good with the rest of it. The taro milk tea itself had a pleasant flavor that worked as a great base for the toppings. I had been disappointed by bad milk taste lately at other locations but this place delivered a very satisfying experience. They also have pandan flavored waffles on their menu which I'm very eager to try next. I feel sorry for them that the coronavirus hit a week after they opened. But as someone who very much appreciates local businesses that deliver good food and beverages, I'm gonna make it a point to frequent this place as much as I can in these troubled times. I confirmed today that they are open in their normal hours and are using GrubHub, so I strongly suggest checking their selection out either by delivery/pickup especially if you are a bubble tea person. read more

This place was a bit disappointing. :( We ordered two bubble teas via Door Dash and went to pick it up at the pickup time, but when we arrived, the drinks weren't ready. They started making the drinks once my husband physically walked in the shop to pick the drinks up. The drinks took FOREVER to make too... so we had to wait 10-15 minutes for the drinks to finally be made. The bubble teas weren't that bad, but on the sweeter side (even though we requested half sugar). I'm not sure if the slow process of making drinks was because they just opened or because it's regularly like this, but we'll have to come back after the shelter-in-place is over. read more

Banh mi isn't bad as well as the big dumplings (would recommend the Korean inspired banh mi). They have my favorite boba in Buffalo, their Taro is delicious and you can modify the sweetness and everything. They also hold k-pop events there which is cute and welcoming. This a relatively new restaurant since March 15 2020. Clean and spotless I'm not familiar with bubble Tea but the bubbles are filled with different fruits and juices. Tea can be earl grey oolong black and green also matcha green. The teas mostly come with toppings milk but there are alternative mixers as well as different Along with some asian restaurant fare. Potstickers, pho, egg rolls chicken wings and waffles. Staff was helpful and welcoming any questions answered quickly and politely. I will have to return to try the food. read more

Cute interior place - mid everything else. Boba isn't as good, I've had better from around here, every time I have gone they forget at least one of the toppings in the drinks .... all the toppings cost money .... I wouldn't mind every once in a while but quite literally almost every time is kinda annoying especially when you're taking it to go. I've only had banh mi's for the food and they also are on the average scale, they weren't bad but they also weren't good. I get this place when I'm craving boba in a pinch but if I have the time to go out of my way I definitely would go elsewhere read more

I have been craving for bubble tea since the outbreak out of public health crisis as many of the local places are affected. I have been looking for a place that was still open and my roommate found this location. It was a little out of the way for me but really wanted some. The place was big in my opinion. They also serve Vietnamese food as well. The place is fairly new so some of the drinks are not on display yet. There are drinks that I have not seen at the other local bubble tea places so i was happy to try something new. I got the taro bomb and it was good. There was different toppings in the drink and it also comes with real taro. I will def go back and try other drinks on the menu. It is a little pricey for bubble tea. This is a fun little spot in the more commercial end of Delaware. It has food and tea and an assortment of other specials based on what they have in stock. Pretty good, not groundbreaking, but a fun stop after work or to get a non-coffee or alcoholic drink with friends. I had a lavender milk tea and vegetarian egg rolls and they were good. What really sells it is the decoration and atmosphere. It definitely is clean and really chic. I love bubble tea so I stalked this place waiting anxiously to try them and still missed the opening due to co-vid so they were in full swing by time I got to test them out. The drink choices are wonderful. My recommendation the Pineapple green tea with mango bursting bobas. I substitute the lime for orange because once the lime sits it gives it a bitter taste. I notice that every time, I order the same drink and depending on who is working it comes out different so you have to be very specific. Today there was lots of ice in my tea that's a first. I'm going to continue to make my way through the drink menu. With that being said MY FOUR STARS ARE FOR DRINKS ONLY! ****They offer food which is really exciting but the food is so disappointing to the point they should change the name to "We serve tea, not food." If I was to rate the food alone this place would be TWO stars, considering how much I like the tea I just left it off. I've had the veggie pot stickers - decent, not rave worthy but not bad. The Pandan waffles I believe I'm just a sucker for because I like matcha and it almost has a sweet matcha taste. Who would have thought waffles and tea. Now here's the real issue the CHICKEN WINGS. I wasn't picky, didn't ask for my usual all flats, didn't inquire about the sauce just took them as is. The chicken has a weird aroma to it to start with. The skin was a nice crisp but the meat chewy and stretchy. That's for the flats only. Pieces that I suppose are drums inedible - it was as if someone put frozen chicken in a microwave and pieces were flashed burned. The sauce is just a French dressing. My advice stick to just the drinks, anything further and you might as well walk into the street and toss money around. read more

I'm so disappointed in what this place has become. When they first opened, the service, quality of drinks, and the cleanliness was spot on. Today, it went from being my favorite local bubble tea spot to a place I'm probably unlikely to visit again. I understand that these are tough times, and I hate to leave a harsh review but it's not ok to serve spoiled drinks. Out of the three drinks I got today, one was actually rancid because the milk in it had turned or something. I got an apple chai milk tea hot and the smell coming from it after I opened the little lid cover was nauseating. I also got two butterfly flower teas, which were fine but not the kind of quality it used to be. At $8 a drink, the quality better be there because there are other bubble tea places serving a superior product for much less. Also, it's unfortunate that they got rid of the reward system. Overall, for the price of the drinks (3 drinks added up to about $23), and the inferior product you are getting, you are better off skipping this place. P.s: some workers were constantly touching their faces, masks, noses and then preparing drinks, touching cups, lids, etc. Even when we were not in midst of a pandemic, they really shouldn't be doing this while preparing food. Came here around late lunch time in the middle of the week. They weren't too busy during this time so getting our order taken wasn't slow. The bahn mi took a bit too make but the service was really good. The lady was really nice in the front. We got a coffee and boba which both were really good. The bahn mi was really good as well. I have been thoroughly surprised by how good their food was. I stumbled on this place & I'm so glad I did. Their bubble teas are good but their pho is incredible. I get mine to go with ox-tail. Last time I went, I also got their flan and it was probably the best flan I've ever had. Not too egg-ie, soft, with a hint of cinnamon and they surround it with bubble tea tapioca pearls. Phenomenal place. I will continue to go probably once a week. This is a diamond in the rough. This was my first time trying boba tea. I ordered it through doordash. Looking at the pictures on yelp of inside the store really makes me want to go in next time! Looks so cool!!! I like the cute cups with the picture too. We tried the strawberry milk tea with tapioca and taro milk tea with tapioca. I liked the taro more than the strawberry and the tapioca was a little more chewy than I was expecting, more like a gummy bear. I seen on their menu they have "bursting" ones.. I am so glad I found this place. It's so hard to find a non-basic bubble tea place in buffalo! I'm spoiled by all the options in Toronto and my trips to China. Milk and tea is, by far, the best tasting bubble tea spot I've ever been to. You have to stop by and try it out. The spot is very nicely done and a lot of attention has gone into the selection of furniture and the overall vibe that the owner has tried to establish. Their bubble tea is reasonable priced and they also have food which we haven't tried but plan on trying. Very impressed with the design theme it's really impeccably designed for an independent owner operator biz. That being said it's very pricey guess your paying for the lavish design. Containers for milk tea were smaller than other places I've been to and I'm not talking about Dunkin donuts in the same Plaza that's not very good matcha tea very sweet. Milk & Tea is very good quality matcha tea taste it's very pronounced, one issue I had was the giant boba ball that wouldn't break apart no matter how hard we tried it was an amorphous globular boba. Not pleasant or enjoyable, typically when your drinking your tea you'll get a proportionate amount of boba with every draw from the straw. This was not that. So they have some growing pains to work through and at this point in time it can't be easy with Cuomo the clown shutting everything down until he sees fit to open it up so less people on the street less patronizing new places to eat. We also bought the Pate chaud very good but was cold not warmed as by health department standards that are supposed to be checked. There were literally 5 people working behind this tiny area so not havjng warmed pastry wasnt acceptable. I've owned small food businesses and they aren't supposed to be at room temp. Also noticed some people weren't observing face mask protocols very effectively some were hanging off their face or noses exposed not good during this time , I also think all food service should take up mask use for all food handlers given when we speak or just breath vapor particles from your lungs are expelled onto whats immediatelty in front of the food handler. Hair nets, beard nets , gloves and changing them yes frequently . All restaurants should start behaving like there's a never ending pandemic just for other possible issues. Overall I like the design , the menu is a bit confusing and no prices is annoying Facebook shows more items which I didn't see at the actual location kind of bad for people who aren't staring at their phone all day and just expect effort from the vendor to place a description of the menu with pricing for customers . I don't want to hear over $20 for 2 matcha teas and 2 Pate chaud that's very expensive. So as much as I like the motif, tea and Pat chaud there were definitely issues with their products. One other thkng not sure if she was the owner but when a customer asks about a food item they dont want to brow beaten into their concept of the foods authentic recipe. Americans are people of great distinction and diversity and we expect when paying for something we should get what we're paying for. One should always fall back on the customers always right addage. Hopefully they don't take this review negatively but as a way to make the improvements.
