Strange location but wonderful food and coffee. Very affordable prices and able to get their coffee beans to make at home.

It took me 45 minutes to get here, but it is definitely worth the drive. They have so many varieties of coffee and even espresso beans. They will grind them for you or you can buy them whole. They have a small food menu but a very large menu for coffees and lattes. You will not be able to buy such quantities with great value any cheaper than if you were to go to Sam's Club. Beans have gotten so out of control that I am blown away at how good these are and the cost of them. I bought 2 pounds for under $20. I can't think of anywhere else locally owned that I can buy even 12oz for under $25!!! read more

This is my favorite coffee shop in Buffalo. It's a hidden gem in plain sight. For years, I mistook it as strictly a coffee roasters, and I finally decided to go in and explore. Not only do they roast their own delicious coffee in a multitude of tasty flavors, they also have a cafe with the craziest flavors. I cannot believe I've been living in this neighborhood for years and I'm just now trying this coffee. So I've been here three times now and I must say that I'm impressed with the quality, flavor, and customer service. The women who work (maybe even own? Not sure) at this shop are so friendly and upbeat. It's just really refreshing. Also, their prices are incredibly reasonable. For a hot medium, you're paying about $2 and some change. They also sell other goods in this shop, I just haven't checked everything out. I cannot believe I was drinking Tim Horton's with this place right next door. read more

I have driven by this place a few times going into Buffalo from the South towns. finally took the opportunity to stop in and use a gift card I received for Christmas. The cash out area was busy. Several customers were buying 20 bags of coffee! I browsed the store while I waited for the line to process through. A lot of local treats/coffee related gifts are available to purchase. There is also an area to sit and a small kios area to order hot beverages. I got a pound of the Jamaican Blue Mountain and Pumpkin Spice which we're decently priced. This place is not gouging you like Starbucks. Coffee is ground on the premise so you know your getting a fresh bag. Employees are friendly and polite. They do not list all the prices on their coffee or have a pricing list available and the area where you can order drinks was a separate from the area you ordered the ground coffee bags. This made it a bit confusing if you are a first time customer. Brewed a cup of the Jamaican Blue Mountain when I got home and it was fantastic. This will be my go to place to get ground coffee. Definitely worth the trip to the Hamburg Turnpike area. Support your local business owners!! Hopefully, they will have Kona coffee in the future. Pros: gourmet coffee that is reasonably priced. Gift shop with Buffalo related merchandise. Friendly staff ( they gave me an extra punch on my coffee punch card. 6th bag is free) Cons: they do not list the prices for the majority of their bag coffee. Limited tea/bag coffee products available just to grab and go. Don't mind having my coffee ground but if your impatient this will impact your experience. I used to go here all the time for my coffee when I was using a french press. Then I switched to K-cups and figured I couldn't get them here. Stopped yesterday just for the hell of it and YAY!!!!, they do K-cups in addition to the traditional ground coffee and beans. All coffee roasted right on premises, lots of choices. So glad I took the chance! $12.50 for 24 K-cups plus you get a punch card (if you buy 6 you get one free). Support local whenever possible! I had an idea for my technology company preparing for a trade show that our table-top give-away should be coffee samples to advertise our networking services. Get Wired! was the tag line on the regular coffee, and Go Wireless! was the decaf. Get it? If you don't, apparently you're not alone because way too many people asked us if we sold coffee. Anyway, in my hunt for the best product to fill this need I was directed to Premium Roasters. At first I was skeptical. I assumed there would be no way a business that produces such high quality product would also be able to meet our budgetary concerns for this. I was wrong. Not only did I get a better product, but they came in per unit lower than any other wholesaler I solicited. Once I tried the coffee - a very smooth and handsome Guatemalan and Mexican blend - I was sold. It was outstanding. Over the years I've gotten to know Vinny DeMarco and his family at Premium Roasters. The family is truly the premium part of the name. They take care of their customers like family, and go out of their way with service and generosity. Included in their business, on top of roasting their carefully selected coffee beans right in their facility, they also have an outstanding gift shop that is Buffalo as it gets! You can also outfit your kitchen with the latest coffee brewing appliances and accessories, as well as sample or buy a cup of over a dozen freshly roasted and brewed blends daily. With the five-stars I'm giving Premium Roasters, it goes without saying that I would suggest you try them. Above and beyond that though, at least stop in and get to know a real family business. 4th time we have stopped here on our annual trip to buffalo for the Ice wine fest in Canada. The moment you walk in the store you are greeted with the aroma of coffee and a friendly hello. Several coffee choices and you can choose whole beans or they will ground. They also offer a complimentary coffee for you to try. The Blueberry coffee is delightful and another big draw is the sponge candy dark chocolate or milk chocolate. I will say the value is the coffee..the candy is 13.99 making it $1 a piece. So it's hard to bring back some to share with friends.. So we will continue to be selfish with our box of sponge candy haha PS I am not a coffee drinker. Worst coffee I have ever had. Wish I had tried their samples before purchase. Didn't like their samples but thought it might have been the way it was brewed. Tried it at home brewing the same way I do with all coffees and it was just as bad. Has a very bitter/sour after taste. Will never purchase from here again, especially when there are so many other places around town with excellent coffees. Store was interesting. Had a nice assortment of coffee and tea products and art items from local artists. Staff was also very nice. Just the coffee that was terrible. read more

Knowing and caring little about coffee, while still drinking it, isn't easy when your wife is very particular about hers. Thank goodness for this place! Walking in you know you've found what you're looking for- if that is you're looking for locally roasted varieties of coffee for your picky wife. Immediately you're immersed in a powerfully delicious coffee aroma that instantly warns the brain "good luck choosing JUST one flavor." To me the variety was frightening and quality unknown. Luckily the staff are VERY friendly and all I had to do was describe what my wife usually drinks. From there I was given a few recommendations accompanied by some personal opinions. With that kind of service I left knowing I would be back even if I didn't pick the right roasts of coffee bean this time around. We shop here regularly, this is the only place we buy coffee. We were in there this past weekend and noticed they are going to open a coffee bar. Wonderful idea! I asked the clerk Morgan if they do coffee totes/boxes. She told me that was something they will be starting in the future, but she said she would speak to the owner, and see if she would be willing to do them for us. I left my name and number. Morgan called the very next day, and explained that the owner was willing and would even open early to accommodate us getting them prior to work at 7:15. Let me just tell you how much of a "rock star" I was at work this morning. The coffee totes of pumpkin spice coffee were a hit! Prices are well below supermarket prices and the quality of the beans is far superior in every way. I can not recommend this coffee enough!!! Everytime I talk to someone about coffee I gush over the place! It's a tad pricey if you're on a constricted budget. But it IS SO WORTH the splurge! When we lived near by my family always gave me gift certificates and trust me, that was my favorite gift! Situated next to a Best Western in Lackawanna, we have visited each time we stay in Buffalo. The first thing I always notice when I walk in is the smell... heavenly! The coffee is great, the prices are more than reasonable and the staff members are all very friendly. All the coffees I have sampled there have been really good, my favorite is the blueberry cobbler. Love the gift shop as well and always make it a point to buy a box or two of sponge candy which is consistently fresh and delicious. Love this place! read more
