The coffee and waffles here are to die for! The customer service was absolutely phenomenal. I got the blueberry and brie waffle and the lucky charms latte. Both were fantastic. I'll have to comr back to Buffalo to pay them a visit again!

Great place we found. Down to earth coffee house and excellent service and attitude. Highly recommend. Home ambiance.

A very homie little out of the way coffee shop down next to River Works. The waffles are really unique tasting and a thicker texture than you're probably used to. Coffee is excellent, and the staff are really nice.

This place was so cute! Very creative. The waffles were so good, and so was the coffee. I got the lucky charms coffee and it wasn't too sweet which was nice. Staff was very friendly. I would def come back here. If you're ever in Buffalo, def check this place out!

I visited Wonder Coffeehouse for a catch up with a colleague, and it was such a cool spot! This shop is deceiving on the outside, and appeared smaller, but once you walk in, it's super spacious yet still gives off a cozy vibe. I ordered a white chocolate latte, which I've never had anywhere before, and it was just what I needed to start my day! I also indulged in a mini cinnamon waffle to go. They had a to-go case filled with different flavored waffles and they're like mini pastries. I think I did myself a disservice by not heating it up, because I feel like that really would have elevated the flavor. The service was friendly and prompt and I felt welcomed straight away. They also have a variety of merch for sale as well! Greeting cards, blankets, shirts, and more!

Wonder Coffeehouse has such a fun and unique vibe! They've transformed old storage containers into cozy seating areas, which makes it a really cool and memorable place to stop. You order at the counter, and then they bring the food out to you. There's also indoor seating if you'd prefer. The waffles are definitely a highlight they offer some really creative flavor combinations. I tried the brie and blueberry waffle, and it was delicious. The hot chocolate was also rich and comforting, perfect to enjoy with the waffles. If you're looking for a spot that's both unique and tasty, Wonder Coffeehouse is absolutely worth checking out.

The food was great! The service was fast, we eat in. The ambiance very quiet! And comfy. The coffee house is located River works area l, so there is a lot to do around here... can't wait to come back.... I eat a bagel breakfast sandwich, and my daughter eat chicken & waffles.

This is an adorable little coffee house and waffle shop over by Riverworks. I was struggling to find a cozy spot this winter and got fed up with the overcrowded options in the busier parts of town so I headed to the old first ward to try something off the beaten path. I was pleasantly surprised by Wonder! It doesn't look like much from the front, but when you go around back they're rocking the rustic look of the neighborhood with a little patio surrounded by old box cars. Inside, it's all deep wood, clean surfaces, and quirky decor. The place was warm even on a cold day, and the woman cleaning the tables welcomed me and made conversation right off the bat. She was happy and fun to talk with about everything from waffles to the weather. I placed my order and set up my laptop at a table, but my order arrived quickly, and oh my was it decadent! The food is super rich and heavy, so I took my time eating my bacon and waffle (perfectly cooked!) as well as sipping hot cocoa for about an hour before it started to get busy and I felt the need to free up the table. The vibes were chill, and the smell of the waffles cooking was super enticing even after I was full. I can't wait to go back this summer and sit outside when the weather is warm.

Always awesome. The quiet, bright space is decorated by eclectic antiquey ephemera and their goods for sale are always fun to shop through. Service is always friendly and kind. L The liege waffles ( the pioneer blueberry Brie and the grilled cheese with tomato soup) were crispy but soft too, and perfectly flavored- not too strong, not too weak. The waffles look small but believe me, it is the perfect portion.

I liked this place so much, I had to make a second trip back quickly. This time I went for a sweet breakfast and ordered the strawberry Nutella waffle. It was absolutely delicious! Instead of coffee, I tried the berry bowl smoothie this time, which was also very tasty. If you haven't been here yet, run, don't walk. This is a one of a kind coffee shop with an awesome vibe and tasty menu.

Unique little set up. They have cool outside seating via repurposed containers. The waffles are so good, they definitely taste different because of the dough they use. The inside is rustic and a good amount of seating. Plenty of different waffles to choose from.

Best kept secret on the marina. Highly recommend for food and coffee. I saw someone felt the food was overpriced, I am from LA so 10 dollars seemed very reasonable to me. I ordered the Honey Lavender Latte which is my favorite back home and it was incredibly delicious here. I will definitely go out of my way to not only recommend, but come here everytime I'm in Buffalo. Incredibly creative space as well, I hope it's sunny next time so ai can enjoy the fun patio outside. Everyone here is super friendly and the service was on point.

Yuck - I didn't order any extra used food
    Raymond B.

So I looked at the place based on reviews of the surrounding area and it looked very inviting. However, it is overpriced and a novelty. The inside is nice and decorated for the Buffalo area but the offerings are misleading. I ordered the Monte Cristo and a Latte, since they didn't have Coke Zero, I chose to enjoy a coffee instead. The monte cristo was underwhelming, it had a few slices of Turkey, one slice of Prosciutto and hardly any Grier cheese. The waffle was very small and it was bearly a meal. The meal was $18 w/o a tip and it wasn't worth it. Finally, I looked at the silverware to stir the coffee and it had something green and nasty on it so I had to get a wooden stick to stir the coffee. In food service, cleanliness is everything immediately after customer service. It was not as impressive as the other ratings and since it's about a quality item and a great price, this place missed the mark for me. Sorry, hope you wash and inspect your flatware and build a better sandwich.

Also an everything bagel with cream cheese, lots of cream cheese, warm and wrapped up well. More like a denser style bagel- not hard. Very good. I got chocolate in my Americano, the standard amount they put in was perfect. You can taste the chocolate and the coffee, not too sweet! Seating area is small and cute. Perfect for two people to sit and chat. Not good for a family or children. We did have our three year old and new born. I needed a change of scenery to get some work done and this place exceeded my expectations. Quaint with a tucked away sitting area that was perfect for my back to back meetings as they offered free Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets. Decor was bright and Instagramable. There's an equally cozy bookstore down the hall that adds value to the vibe along with a candle shop that did the same. Customer service was welcoming and prompt. I appreciate service with a smile. Secondly, I love a place where the staff can give suggestions when I give them an 'idea' of what I'd like to have and they deliver. Ordered a chai tea, with more chai than milk and their suggestion of a vanilla shot was delicious. Will definitely be back to explore the menu. 100% recommend.

Fun coffee shop in the heart of downtown Buffalo, definitely worth a visit…read more I was staying at Hotel Lafayette for a couple of nights and right before I checked out I decided to swing by to grab a coffee. While you can enter from the street, it's also connected from inside the hotel, which is honestly how it caught my attention. The space is actually pretty big, bigger than I expected. It's open, colorful, there's a ton of natural light, cool murals all over the walls, luscious greenery, and a variety of seating options. The counter where you order is nice and open, with a big menu, and a sheet of glass between the customers and what I quickly came to know is their staple item, the cruller - a donut-like pastry that's super airy on the inside with a delicious icing glaze on the outside. Along with my oat milk latte, I had to try one... ok two. I got a seasonal Pride one and I can't remember the other one. Both were dreamy and it was easy to see why they are so popular. If I lived in the area this spot would totally be a go-to for working out of when I want to switch up my scenery.
