Tremendous first time experience! Product and staff were equally impressive giving me the reason why I must come back! The banana bread latte was good! It didn't taste like synthetic syrup from corporate coffee places. The frozen tiramisu latte was so delicious that it'll be hard for me to try other items on the menu. What an adorable, comfortable, and delightful new(ish) coffee shop right in the heart of the Village of Kenmore. I grew up in Kenmore but no longer live in the area so I hope you can imagine how excited I was to hear about Red Otter's opening. I seriously counted down the days until I could finally check it out for myself!!! After a winter storm forced Red Otter to close one afternoon last month, my mom and I made it a priority to stop by at the very next opportunity and it definitely did not disappoint. The space is big, bright, and welcoming, with an impressive variety of books, games, and of course coffee options. I ordered one of the seasonal lattes and absolutely loved it. What really sets Red Otter apart, though, is its heart and community building. I love that they donate a portion of their sales to a worthy organization each month showing that they're clearly community oriented and that they even host a book club. And of course the otter mascot and branding makes my heart melt! So cute! So, all in all, I must award a very worthy five stars without hesitation. I cannot wait to return, especially during the summer months! I'm so happy to see a place like this thriving in Kenmore!!! read more

This new little coffee shop is great! I checked it out the other day before their Grand Opening next week. The space inside is very roomy with places to sit and work on your computer. The menu is mostly drinks of all different kinds. I appreciate that since I am not a big coffee person. I ordered an iced chai latte and it was great! They had muffins, scones, and I heard about their cheesecake bites too. With all of the new spots opening up this summer, this one might be my new remote work spot. I love how bright it is in there with the windows and they have a cozy spot by a fireplace too. I can't wait for their official grand opening and will definitely be back. read more

This place is very nice. And large. You can come here with a bunch of people and sit comfortably. Or bring your computer and plug into one of the many outlets to do some work. They have a game and book section too. This is a great neighborhood spot. Across from the suburban lock place on Delaware in Kenmore. Street parking. read more

My wife and I attended the event. The shop is a nice size with a pleasant atmosphere. We were served 4 different ice coffees to try. The owners were pleasant and excited about their shop and various drinks. The tastes were all good. I enjoyed the sampling and think they will be successful. read more

This coffee shop has been much anticipated and it's worth the wait! Today was my first time there and I will definitely be back and am already planning to have my next yarn meetup there. The coffee is delicious! They plan on adding gluten free baked goods in the future and currently offer some muffins, cookies and pastries from a local bakery. I'm wishing this locally owned small business the best of success - they already sold out two days in a row! It's a great spot that was really needed in this area - stop by and get a coffee, tea, smoothie or a steamer - this coffee snob thinks you'll love it! read more

We love Red Otter. The staff is extremely friendly and hospitable, and make great drinks! I love that they have a smaller kids cup option, my kids love the smoothies and frozen hot chocolate. I love their Cold Brew coffee, it's always perfectly made. Their seating is nice and sturdy and comfortable, sometimes coffee places don't actually have chairs that are good for a variety of people. Absolutely love this spot. We saw it for the first time last week driving by and decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed! I got a regular hot coffee and a bagel, both of which were very good. It's a nice spacious cafe with a lot of sitting room, not cramped at all. Plus everyone that worked there was very very sweet. There is a new coffee house in Kenmore NY. The Red Otter is a cozy new place to relax and have coffee or other beverages with a treat. Their lattes are hot and delicious. My daughter had a blended frozen drink she said was flavorful and not too sweet. I have also had my 1st ITALIAN SODA there. They have different flavors they play with or you can mix and match anything. I had mine with coconut and it was so refreshing and delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable and great for doing work on a laptop, reading or chiling with friends. Speaking of reading. They have a book club and a game night! Staff is happy and fun. Friendly and will help you with anything you want to create for your drinks. They have a great social media presence and post cute videos. The owners seem to care about their staff and the community they serve. A huge bonus is that each month they choose a local charity to donate some proceeds to! What else can you ask for? Give the Red Otter a try!! read more

There was a line out the door (literally) for ordering, but they work very fast and efficient, so it didn't take too long. We got our cold brew coffee son after, the lox bagels showed up some minutes later. Their cold brew is very good; usually I add some milk, but this coffee doesn't need that at all. The everything bagel had a generous amount of lox, but I missed the tomato and onion. Maybe they were out of it or forgot because of the business.

There is a upper and lower dining area to stay in and enjoy your treats. It seems the hours are quite late and the time doesn't slow the crowd down any. The pastries are phenomenal! She also told me the owners had several orange cats at the time of opening, hence the name. I ordered a delicious Arnold Palmer. The ambiance very cozy. I was surprised by how large the cafe was. They had several rooms to choose from. The outside seating area offered lots of seating and was just perfect for an afternoon drink. Such a lovely spot!
