    Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake

Stopped in while doing laundry and was hankering for something sweet and opted for the Peanut butter chocolate cake ($6), per the staffers recommendation. It was in a cooler so I let it warm up a bit and it was really good. well made, and generously sliced.

OMG! I've been here before, but it's been quite a while. The pizza we had was absolutely the best! Such a cute place too! Try, it will not be disappointed

I went to Romeo and Juliet's café to get some baked goods. This is the first time I've been in there to actually buy some thing. At the Italian festival, I had stopped by their stand to get some things and I was very impressed with the Napoleon, the peanut butter bomb, and my mother loved the eclair. My son, although at the festival had a tiramisu and thought it was really bad. I figured it was probably just cause it was sitting outside For so long and maybe they made too many of them and they weren't going or something? But, I bought a $9.00, tiramisu today and was so excited to give it to my son, and he was very excited to eat it. He took one bite of it, it seemed OK at first, and then he just blurted out how disgusting it was. He actually had to spit it out. I told him it can't be that bad and I don't even like tiramisu, but I was willing to take a bite to try it. I took a bite and all seemed fine at first, but then once you swallow, oh my God, disgusting !! It tasted like straight up vomit ! I kid you not, and I am not exaggerating, it tasted like puke !! Why pay nine dollars for vomit when you can get it free at home ? So that was a waste of money and I will never buy tiramisu from there again. BUT, again, I bought the Napoleon, the peanut butter bomb, two eclairs and a piece of carrot cake. Everything was delicious ! I will definitely go back and try more things because everything was looking so good but like I said, I will never buy tiramisu again. The cookies looked so good, the dining area smelled good. I would like to go and get some food from there too. other than just dessert. I wonder if there is anything not in the store, that they can make concerning Italian desserts. There's something I want so bad that I can't seem to find and I don't even know what it's called. I ended up spending $39 even, for the two eclairs, the peanut butter bomb, the Napoleon, the carrot cake and the $9 horrible tiramisu . That's not too too bad, but all bakeries are a bit expensive.

I've had a hankering for this for a while now. Back around 2000, I used to live around the corner and would go get the Quattro Formaggi for $5 special once a week. Well, I didn't feel like driving so we got DoorDash from Hertel Ave all the way to Sloan. Got my fav pizza and also we added a Margherita too and the whole family ate it for rhe next 2 days. Wasn't piping hot by the time it was delivered but that's not a short drive so the pics don't do it justice. Taste was awesome and I know they have some incredible desserts too. I've also been to the Sheridan Drive (near Evans) location and love their food & service as well. Highly recommended trying this place.

Happy birthday to me! I didn't have to pay and I had the special Chicken Marsala with risotto. Cooked perfectly, with plenty of mushrooms. And then, for dessert, cannoli. This is no ordinary canoli. It's magnifico!

    Great selection of cookies! @rjcaffe

If this restaurant was on my corner I would be there constantly! It's one of these places that has great food and a great ambiance. Where you want to sit with friends and savor your food and drinks winter or summer , people watch everyone on Hertel Ave and just enjoy life. So whenever we have friends from out of town we take them there. They make delicious brick oven pizza. The crust is light and crispy without leaving you feeling like you ate air pizza. The sauce is just right , not too sweet or too salty. So you aren't thirsty all day long!! Their bruschetta is that perfect sweet fresh tomato blend. Crusty bread without the sharp edges that cut the roof of your mouth! And everyone wants the last piece ,looking at it but trying to be polite. Not one bad bite. Their dessert case.... well for me the reason to eat a meal is to get to dessert. I simply can't just have dessert after dinner but I almost always take a box of goodies home for later. The cassata cake, the cannolis the cookies and those little tiny pies filled with something like cannoli filling.... oh so good. I don't think you can pick anything you won't like. At least I haven't found anything yet. There are several locations with hours that you should look up. If you can eat in , Hertel Ave is just such fun with the windows or the outdoor seats. Otherwise take it home!!! @rjcaffe

We were in town attending a large national conference for families affected by their condition, and many conference attendees were also staying at the hotel. When we arrived, the restaurant appeared to be about 80% empty. Our children mentioned to the waitress that they were hungry and tired, and the first response we received was, "Do you have a reservation?" She explained that they couldn't seat us because they were expecting a large party. Instead of being seated at a regular table, we were directed to the bar area, where the bartender kindly took care of us despite the fact that our group included two minors. We stayed for over an hour, and during that time, the large party never arrived. Meanwhile, we watched other guests without reservations get seated at tables without any apparent issue. The experience left us feeling singled out and, ultimately, discriminated against. Whether that was the intention or not, it reflected a disappointing lack of empathy and inclusion--especially considering that so many families with children with disabilities were staying at the hotel for the conference. I'm giving Bella Ciao three stars because the food was decent, the portions were generous, and the bartender provided good service. Unfortunately, the way we were treated upon arrival overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.

From the outside, the restaurant was inviting, with a clean and nicely kept outdoor seating area. The inside was equally pleasing, with a full view of the pizzas being prepared! The greeting upon entering? It felt like a longtime customer coming back for another visit! Enthusiasm, laughter, and genuinely good energy right from the start. Love that! On the menu for this visit: Panzanella Salad, a half-pepperoni/half-sausage pizza, and Affogato. The Panzanella was beautiful in presentation and tasted just as good. Firm, fresh tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, red onions, crostini, and dressing that all complemented each other perfectly. Refreshing and delish! The Affogato...AffoMazing!! Such a simple combination: espresso and vanilla gelato/ice cream, but goodness!! Sometimes simple is all you need. Now, the : At first, I was getting ready to be unimpressed. But NOPE! I haven't been to Italy in a little while, but this pizza was freaking close, if not spot-on, when it comes to authenticity! Brick-oven baked with a light crust, chunky real tomato sauce (forgot to ask if it was home-made), just the right amount of cheese, and REAL pepperoni and sausage. And did I mention...very little grease?! The taste was light, fresh, and not overly filling, just right! Overall, Forno Napoli was a fantastic choice! Great atmosphere, warm service, fresh food, and pizza that brought back a little taste of Italy. Definitely worth a visit! Ciao

I took my son there for lunch the other day, and we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who as it turns out, I knew from his previous restaurants stops. I hadn't seen him in about 15 years, but I recognized him instantly. Great service, polite and courteous staff, and delicious fresh food, are my initial reactions. I was surprised how good the San Franco pizza was! I also had a bowl of Pasta Fasola which was outstanding. I live in the city of Buffalo between Delaware and Elmwood and there are many pizza places around here, plus, I grew up on Bocce on Bailey pizza. However, the Forno Napoli pizza now ruins all others for me. I have never been to Italy, but I imagine this is what pizza is like there. Authentic and fresh. I'm taking all 3 of my kids back there tonight. Trying their salads and pasta as well. This place was very busy on a weekday at 4pm, so it is not a secret. It is also not cheap. You are paying for the quality of the food, and it is worth it.
