Another wonderful dinner Amici! We arrived around 5pm, before the dinner rush, and were seated quickly. Amici was lovely and cozy with a wonderful wait staff. What we ordered: Arancini - $12 Eggplant Parmigiana - $26 Braciole - $32 Follow @summersgoodeats on Instagram and TikTok for more food reviews and recs!

I made a reservation for a large group of people on a Saturday night 2 weeks ahead of time. I asked about seating on the patio and if it would be too hot outside. The owner called me back promptly and he told me that there was a large fan that cools the patio off nicely and we should be fine. It was not fine. We were so uncomfortable being it was an extremely hot day but not much we can do about the weather. Service was, I'll shot it straight, awful. So slow!! Our dinner reservations were at 6:30pm, we Sat prompt at 6:30 and the server came to the table for our drink order 20 minutes later and we left at 9:15pm. The server was kind and apologetic for the waiting for service and food but it was really bad. Let's get to the food. Pasta dishes were small portions. The chicken Marsala and specials that evening were fine. Nothing to rave about. I hate writing reviews like this but it's important for owners to know. The service didn't ruin our evening by any means but I just wish it could have been better.

Absolutely amazing experience as usual. Food is always on point and cooked perfectly. My first time trying the filet mignon and it was incredible!

From the moment that you walk into this restaurant you can start enjoying a wonderful and welcoming environment. From the host to waitress to everyone who works there... all of them were super friendly and very nice. The food was amazing to the point that we discussed during dessert what we are going to order next time. Amici is our favorite Italian restaurant in town. We can't wait to go back!!

We love Amici, and have for many years. It's a real gem in the village of Kenmore - cozy feeling but elegant with a large variety on its menu, exciting daily specials, and a great wine list. Since I've had to go gluten-free, they've remained one of my favorites, as they have gluten-free lasagna and gluten-free pastas that can be used for any of the dishes. It's something I really appreciate. Their dessert menu usually has something for me too. You can tell that the staff here love working for this family, it shows in the always-excellent service. This is a hidden gem in Western New York that you must check out.

Finally made it to Amici's! This place has been widely suggested to us. The restaurant is clean and beautiful, and all the staff were extremely professional and friendly- shout out to the busser guys they really kept things going! And our waiter was quick to offer suggestions and was genuinely so nice. From start to finish, everything was great, starting out with delicious bread and oil, and next we had what I think is the best arancini I've had in Buffalo. Great wine and cocktail menus also. The only reasons I'm taking off a star is simply because the pasta was slightly overcooked and the specials we wanted were out of stock so we were mildly disappointed. Also, we sat on the enclosed patio in winter which wasn't an issue for us, however, the man at the table next to us closer to the inside of the restaurant requested the heater be turned off or down right as we sat so I spent most of my meal pretty cold as we were sitting on the street side. I'd suggest not turning the heaters down so you don't ice out those sitting on the edge. Would rather be a little too warm than freezing cold! All in all, we are excited to make this a regular place for date night!

We went to this restaurant a week ago and the service was amazing. They were very fast getting food out and our waitress, Brandy, was making sure we had everything. I ordered the filet and it was the best steak I've ever had. It was so tender I literally cut it with my fork. If you're looking for a great date night restaurant I would definitely put Amici Ristorante on the list.

Wow. Hands down some of the best pizza we've had…read more We ordered the San Felice Pizza -- San Marzano tomatoes, house-made sausage, sweet and spicy peppers, onion, buffalo mozzarella, and fresh basil -- and it was absolute perfection. The flavors don't compete... they melt together into one big, perfect masterpiece. The peppers leaned sweet (no real heat), which made them the ideal companion to the delicious sausage. And that sausage? Made in-house and seasoned beautifully, with the perfect amount of fennel -- enough to give it that classic Italian character without overpowering the pie. Perfection! The buffalo mozzarella added creamy richness, the basil kept everything bright, and the San Marzano tomatoes were clean and balanced. We love pizza in all its forms -- New York style and Napoli alike -- but there is something about the rustic goodness of true Neapolitan pizza that has a special place in my pizza-loving heart. That airy, soft center and char-kissed crust from the wood-fired oven is magic. The use of such fresh ingredients makes Forno Napoli my favorite pizza on NY so far - authentic and intentional. There is a lot of love and pride in everything from the handmade crust to all of the toppings. They also serve a garlic butter and cheese dipping sauce for the crust -- indulgent and completely unnecessary in the BEST possible way. That blistered crust dipped in that sauce? Unreal. The cheese? Yes, they have the most beautiful wheel of pecorino they hand grate from to make this happen. No green shaker bottles here! We met Felix, the owner, and he was incredibly welcoming. He has such great energy -- warm, engaging, and clearly passionate. You can tell he's the heartbeat behind the recipes and the success of the business. It feels personal. He made us want to share just how great our entire experience was and he certainly made us want to return. Our only regret? We were too full to try another pizza. Do not hesitate. This truly is a slice of heaven.

It looked fantastic. But when I asked his rating, he gave it 6/10 stars. However, I wouldn't trust anyone who doesn't like cheese so take it with a grain of salt I was torn between the Bianca and Quattro pizza so I asked the kind man at the register for his suggestion; he said the Bianca is more popular so I went with that. I enjoyed my pizza, although I wouldn't order this one again. I do want to say that it is pricey but you will get a very big pie of great quality. The dough was excellent! It was actually my favorite part and I've never said that about any pizza! Atmosphere is extremely casual. There's fruit infused waters to have and you go and grab them yourself (back right corner). But you can order bottles of soda, alcohol, etc. Also in the back right corner are small pizza boxes for leftovers you can grab if needed. The complementary bread was delicious, and weirdly so was the butter. I liked that it had salt on it. Oysters 10/10 From Maine, and they were huge! Burrata Salad 10/10 The burrata was so fresh and good! The earthy arugula paired nicely with it. And the balsamic was the perfect extra touch- unless it was the mustard dressing but i don't think it was. And I did like the hazelnuts, even though I didn't think I was going to. They were toasted a little bit. Continental 10/10 Veal was super thin and breaded. The breading was slightly soggy because of all the sauce on it but it was not bad though. The shrimps were a decent size and cooked perfectly. The pasta was great and you could tell it was homemade. The sauce was a really good scampi sauce. Slightly thicker than a traditional scampi, and I loved the amount of garlic and the garlic flavor of it. The broccolini was ok. The stems were a little bit hard, but the tops were good, and good in the sauce too. Seared Duck Breast 10/10 Duck was cooked perfectly. It had crispy skin on one side, and was a good temperature between medium and med rare. The flavor was also very good, and it was seasoned perfectly too. Celeriac purée was very earthy. The black currant red wine reduction was good, it had this very distinct flavor I can't place exactly. The spiced carrots were amazing. Banoffee Pie 10/10 This was a layered pie, and it was a huge slice! Plenty to share between two. It was chocolate shavings on top of a thick layer of whipped cream, a thick layer of banana cream pie, and a thick layer of homemade toffee, then the graham cracker crust. The banana cream pie had fresh bananas, and the toffee was thick and so flavorful. Everything paired together amazing and it was to die for. There was some extra toffee, chocolate, and I think a little honey on the plate for garnish as well as some dollops of custard, which was also really good. I could eat this whole thing every day.

I'm always on the lookout, keeping my ear to the ground, for great pizza places in Buffalo…read more Although sometimes, I just want to try some place new. I had heard good things about Naked City Pizza, so I decided to take a break from my usual spots and give them a try and overall, I am very pleased! I called around 4:45pm on a Saturday and a gentleman took my order. He was courteous and friendly and said my order would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived about 30 minutes later, easily finding a parking spot in their large parking lot, which is a mixture of pavement and dirt/gravel. Walking inside the shop, it's similar to most Buffalo pizza shops where it's relatively small and really about take-out, not for dining in. There were a few young guys working the counter and ovens, they were able to get me in and out quickly. From the limited time I was inside, the workers were friendly enough, they seemed to get along well. For dinner, I ordered a Quarter Sheet (6 slices) Steak and Three Cheese pizza but the gentleman who took my order over the phone put my order in as a Half Sheet (12 slices). They realized the mistake too late and gave me the Half Sheet for the Quarter Sheet price! I really do appreciate that, it's great customer service. I have half a pizza leftover for a quick dinner now! Naked City Pizza nails the traditional Buffalo-style with a doughier undercarriage and nice crispy, chewy crust. The dough was airy but it didn't seem as "heavy" as many other pizza places around Buffalo, but maybe I was just REALLY hungry. haha For their steak pizza, it seems like they use thicker pieces of steak, which was great, definitely felt more substantial. Most steak pizzas come topped with banana, hot, or sweet (bell/green) peppers, but Naked City uses roasted red peppers, which are sweet and have a more distinct flavor and softer texture - I was impressed, this paired VERY well with the other components! Along with them, there's also onions on top. The three cheeses used are cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan, which of course are delicious. In addition to the roasted sweet peppers, the other component that I was surprised by was the white garlic sauce as the base. Steak pizzas around Buffalo vary from using a "hoagie oil/sauce" to just a huge variety of cheeses, no base sauce of any kind. I tend to stay away from white sauce on pizza as it's usually associated with garlic (I don't want my breath to be too... fragrant haha), but this wasn't too garlic-y, I didn't feel like I was "wearing it". I enjoyed the added creaminess the white sauce added to this pie. After six slices, I stopped myself and put the other half in the freezer. The six slices I had were delicious and filled me up nicely - The squares were cut nicely and they were plenty filling with tons of meat and cheese. I have a feeling these will reheat in the oven nicely. Looking at the prices, I was impressed too with how affordable Naked City Pizza is! All-in-all, I'm glad I gave Naked City Pizza a chance and had a great experience! The staff are friendly enough and quick, it's easy to get in and out quickly, and the pizza is traditional Buffalo-style so it's on the heartier end while being affordable. I look forward to ordering and trying a red sauce pizza from Naked City Pizza to see how sweet their sauce is.

It made so much sense as we wanted to eat out in the Sunshine and the cool winds. We ordered the Giambatto, the Lemon Pancakes, the Italian Eggs Benedict and the Chicken Milanese. Yes, we were hungry and the menu was so tempting!!!! The food matched the tall order. Everything looked incredibly delicious; the portion sizes were great, the service impeccable and I will treasure the experience for a long long time. The Eggs Benedict deserve a special mention- I would come back for it again. It was unique and tasted like heaven! The Giambatto was nice-a very heavy omelette that we ate the next day for breakfast. The Chicken Milanese is a chef's kiss. And that pasta with the tomato sauce!! It felt like a nonna's hug! The Lemon Pancakes were beautiful but I think we were too full to enjoy everything!!!!!!! During our meal, we asked for coffee, but unfortunately they didn't have oatmilk. The coffee came with cream and a side of Almond Biscotti that tasted like a dream . We were celebrating a special day- me and my husband, and I was treating him that afternoon. I am so glad that we found this place-the ambiance was just right, the service deserves a special mention and I am so happy. It is rare to find a place that matches all your preferences and more, and this restaurant ticks all the boxes!
