Well I just wanna appologize Roseland's Atlas fot not reviewing a long time ago !!! I promise you this is one of my favorite places !!! Where do I start ? When I first heard that new owners had taken over my favorite brunch spot Providence Social I was skeptical!! So I got off early from work and decided to pop by just grab something quick. I got brussel sprout gratin and 2 amazing drinks ...sorry I don't remember the names but i promise you both amazing !! Since i've gone mutiple times and each time the food is always perfect. The head chef is such a creative !!! His attention to detail makes every dish look picturesque and the layering of flavors I promise you will enjoy. Might I also add the chef usually is out and about sometimes bringing out orders. Such a nice guy!! Overall, Roseland's Atlas is definetly my go to spot right now. I've even taken my picky little sister who likes nothing and she had to admit she loved everything. Her favorite was the Lion's Mane Cake which they rotate so every new menu. Oh and the Pear Old Fashion and the Brown Butter cake with white chocolate and pineapples!!!! Omg !!!! Please just get there asap, lol!!! read more

The service and "vibe" at Roseland rate 5 stars... But the food not so much. Everything looks fabulous, but that's about where it ends. The dishes are lacking...seasoning, depth, that certain something that makes the value. My cheeseburger was overwhelmed by the bun, the cheese was, IDK, was there even cheese? The beef was dry, like there was not a drop of fat in it. Thankfully the crispy fingerling potatoes took up the slack. My companion ordered the carbonara, and it was a funky grey color. Also the sauce was thin and flavorless. I couldn't put my taste buds on what was wrong with it until the next day. I finally realized there was no egg on the dish. We had date night here about a month ago. Instantly greated with a smile from the host. We felt very welcomed. Was offered to take our coats, and were seated immediately. The only down side to the seating was We were sat next to an exit door in a small corner table , and was very cramped. We could barley move. Not only was the area small but there was a table behind us and a decorative tree. So it was really hard to get comfortable at first. Our server was amazing, very attentive, and kind. There was never a moment where we had to wait for her to return . She was great . Unfortunately, the food wasnt the best . It smelled so delicious from the time we entered , but there was absolutely no flavor. I ordered the Cacio E Pepe and my spouse the Braised Beef shortrib. Both were good , but they also both lacked flavor. I think it may have been just an off night for the cooks, because past friend's snd family mentioned a different exsperan experience. So I'm hopeful that of we ever get the chance to return the outcome would be different. I also has a side ceaser salad . That was a 10 out of 10. If I had finished this review 3 months ago, it would have been 5 stars. Unfortunately, last night's experience pushed me to change my original rating to a 3. First and foremost, it's rare that we meet (and love) restaurant managers, but we met and fell in love with Dana the very first time we visited in May 2025. Every time we have returned since, he remembered us and always made sure we had a great time. Sadly, we found out last night that he no longer works there (something happened between him and the owners), which was a huge letdown and quite honestly, I took a whole star off just for that. Then, I found out that the bolognese and the cassata cake were no longer on the menu, the TWO things I went back for. I didn't take any stars off for that but seriously, don't mess with what works. I heard that many customers are upset over the bolognese no longer being available, so maybe make that a staple on the permanent menu? The time came to pay the bill, and I used a gift card that had $32 remaining on it from when we last visited at the end of September. The server went back and forth a few times saying that there is a $0 balance on it. I then scanned the QR code and saw that someone voided the original $168 (out of $200) charge back in September about 40 minutes after we left, and then immediately charged the entire $200 right after. So SOMEONE there did this intentionally well after we had left the restaurant to wipe out the entire gift card balance. Sketchy much? 1000000%. I took another star off for this fraudulent activity. All in all, this place had promise and was on our downtown favorites for a while. It has decent food, drinks, and even parking. The only complaint I had prior to last night was that it was always insanely hot, especially in the back room, and the tables are also ridiculously close together for an extremely tight and uncomfortable fit. Sadly, it all came to a quick and abrupt end. It's too bad, because we really wanted to check out their brunch. read more

Stopped in for dinner with some friends and had a reservation--only had to wait a few minutes past our time to be seated. The restaurant was very warm and quite loud inside, which made the atmosphere a bit less comfortable. Our waitress, however, was wonderful--so nice, attentive, and friendly. One of us ordered the fig ricotta toast, which was tasty but definitely on the sweeter side. All of the pasta dishes were really good, especially the fettuccine, which was absolutely delicious. We finished with the cannoli for dessert, and they were truly fantastic. Overall, a great meal with excellent service, even if the noise and heat were a little much. read more

We went to Roseland's Atlas on Sunday evening and were blown away. The food is incredible--house-made pasta that is truly to die for. I had the truffle and corn Alfredo special and my husband had the carbonara, both amazing. We split the stuffed zucchini app and garlic bread to start, and the marinara on the bread was delicious. We both added a cutlet to our meals which was divine, and the tiramisu and cassata cake for dessert were both amazing- the cassat being honestly one of the best I've ever had. Drinks were on point too--the Aperol margarita is a must. Even with a small delay in the kitchen, what seemed to be the manager (or a very dedicated staff member) was checking in with every table, which we really appreciated. The patio is also beautiful--cozy and welcoming, with a fire that makes it feel extra special. The only thing I'll note is our server seemed a bit new or flustered, she forgot to offer specials before asking us to order, had to be reminded for drinks, just sort of frazzled but she was very friendly and the rest of the staff jumped in to pour the water and clear plates etc. make sure we were taken care of. We came here for date night one night and it was fabulous. I loved my meal, the rigatoni and meatball. Matt liked his Carbonara but he liked mine better! I would opt out of the Caesar salad next time since I don't do well with sardines. The cassata cake was delish!!! The ambiance is nice but it's verrrrrrry loud. We had a hard time hearing each other. We celebrated my dad's 50th birthday at the Roseland Atlas for Sunday brunch. Admittedly we were all hesitant that we could only order off the brunch menu but everything ended up being phenomenal. This is my favorite spot right now. Went when they first opened up for dine in, it was so good. Went back last night try the new October menu and yet again the food was all so amazing! They have gotten better. They were packed which love to see. Definitely make reservations! The food it top tier, so fresh and full of flavor. Great portions and so reasonable priced. Party of four, with two drinks each, two apps, four entrees, and two desserts under 300.00! The service is amazing. The servers are very knowledgeable. The manager comes out and checks in see how things are going, which he did same six months prior! They set a standard and live by it. We were super excited to try this spot out so we booked a lunch reservation. It is so nice inside & out, all of the staff was super helpful and kind, and we had a delicious lunch! I love that you can get smaller portions of pasta with sauces to create your own dish. The cacio e Pepe was really good and very pepper forward, I couldn't stop eating it! The carbonara was also so flavorful. The beet salad was a highlight for our small plates. Wow! One of my favorite restaurants that I have tried this year. I can't stop thinking about my meal and am looking forward to returning. I loved the atmosphere. This was the perfect spot for gathering with friends. All syrups and mixers are house made which makes for delicious drinks. My cosmo had a homemade blueberry syrup and the mule pictured had a homemade basil syrup. Delicious and so fresh! Also all pasta is made in house. Ambiance hits the moment we stepped in the door. The smells from kitchen are pleasant and welcoming, yeah, really! We had dining room reservations but opted for a more private table on the heated patio. Either way would've been fine, but it was too nice a night to stay in. The menu is packed with EXCELLENT choices, so it's no surprise we ordered 2 appetizers and a hearty salad to start. And the cocktail menu tempted me to try the special request MOCKTAIL MOJITO (Oh. I honestly would give this place a 1. However, they had some really good cocktails. The food was horrible tho. I ordered the stuffed shells and there was no sauce which wouldn't have been that tragic if there was any taste to the food. It didn't even taste like it had a pinch of salt in there it literally didn't taste like ANYTHING! I was appalled. Everyone else that's ordered in our party said that it was okay. But I was really disappointed with this restaurant. Also, most Italian places give you bread when you sit down and they did not. It was an extra $5 for less than mediocre bread. This is a great new find!!! Open since March, it is the old Providence Social . We came here on a cold, wet , blustery evening to celebrate our anniversary. Inside was bright, welcoming and comfortable. We were greeted warmly, starting our evening at the bar with a few drinks. Our appetizers...WOW. I'm a huge fan of brussel sprouts; these were some of the best I have ever had. The salad we shared was also delicious. Our entrees were fabulous. In house homemade pasta . We were both so impressed. We finally checked out Roseland's Atlas, and I am in love. We arrived after 7 p.m. on a Friday, and it was so nice to see the restaurant packed with people all the way through the time we left. We grabbed a drink at the bar, which was beautifully redecorated and gave a comfy, yet sophisticated vibe. For dinner, we started with the meatball and garlic bread appetizer. It was incredibly tasty. I just wish the meatballs were cooked a touch longer to make them slightly firmer. For our entrees, we had the chicken cutlets parmigiana and the cacio e pepe with chicken skewers. Both were served piping hot and were very tasty. The cacio e pepe could have been a touch creamier, but overall it was very good. The whole vibe of the place was great, and our server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Roseland's Atlas is a new Italian restaurant and cocktail bar in the old Providence Social space. Sadly, it's not a serious restaurant and not worth a visit. I don't love writing long reviews so I'll just summarize what I disliked about it, which was basically everything. - Seating was absolute chaos and we had to wait 45 mins for our reserved table. - Service was okay but not super attentive. - The bar messed up both of our drinks. - The food was the most amateurish I've had in a long time -- basically since I tried Saint Neri. - The menu makes it seem like it's Inizio level good but it's worse than the worst red sauce restaurant in Buffalo. Some specifics: - The meatball and garlic bread dish was revolting. The meatballs were pale grey and the garlic bread was sitting in a reddish brown broth and completely soggy. - The carbonara was overcooked and way too salty. - The beet salad would make the chef at Little Club die of laughter. - The chicken parm was also overcooked and flavorless and made me want to go back to the incredible Rizzo's. The sauce wasn't fully prepared and still had several whole canned tomatoes in it -- as did the sauce on the side pasta. Not even taking the time to cook down and season the sauce and crush the tomatoes is completely unprofessional. Generally the quality of the food is what I'd expect from a teenager on their first attempt. Totally disgraceful. read more

THERES A NEW RESTAURANT IN TOWN THAT NEEDS TO STAY! I must say this is a new favorite! Located on the west side, we now have a restaurant that presents a sense of elegance and charm and still fills your belly. I went with 2 of my friends and we each loved everything about it. We started off with the 4 cheese garlic bread which came with a side of homemade marinara. The bread was soft and delicious. Not overpowering with garlic, and the sauce complimented the bread well without depleting the flavor. For our entrees I got the spedini skewer platter. All entrees come with a starter salad and a side. For my side I got the fettuccine alfredo. It was a bit cold and bland, but I added some crushed red and mixed it with the meat to make a great meal. I got all 3 meats, chicken, beef, and lamb. They were all very tender and well seasoned. Cooked to perfection. One friend got the cacio e pepe and added a meatball for $3. The pasta had a great flavor. Slightly spicy but not overpowering. The meatball was nicely done and big. My other friend got the flat 12 mushrooms and fettuccine which had a nice flavor. She also got a side of the brussell sprout gratin that was sooooo good we got another one for the table. We did save some room for dessert and got the tiramisu and the cassata cake. The tiramisu was nice and fluffy. Though the presentation of the cassata cake looked a but unappealing, the taste was wonderful. For drinks we did order 2 bottles of wine and had a negroni, old fashion, and blueberry mojito. We loved everything about this place. Even the bathrooms were nice. They are single stalled and gender neutral. There are stairs to the main entrance that lead into the host who offers to check your coat and a fully stocked bar. I'm telling everyone about this place and I'm definitely coming back. read more

I went to Roseland's Atlas for dinner tonight with some girlfriends and we had a really nice meal all the way through. We started with the meatballs and garlic bread (absolutely a must have), the Papas bravas, and the potato pancakes. The Papas bravas came in this incredible sauce that kind of reminded me of a creamier version of roasted red pepper hummus. The potato pancakes came with a side of apple butter that was divine as well. For our main entrees we all got something a bit different. I got the chicken cutlets (made Parmesan) which came with my choice of a side of pasta. I went with bucatini in an Alfredo sauce and had not a single regret. The cutlets were huge and cooked to perfection. For dessert we split the chocolate & almond cake and the tiramisu. The chocolate cake was absolutely insane in the best way. The raspberry sauce on top had our mouths salivating. It was the perfect complement to the cake. The cake had a texture somewhere between a brownie and a cookie and the flavor was great. The tiramisu was also incredible, packed with a very balanced flavor. In addition to dinner and dessert, all of our cocktails were super tasty. My espresso martini was excellent as was my pineapple coconut mule. We will definitely be back! read more

This was my first time to Roselyn's Atlas and it was a great experience. The restaurant is set up with a room in the front and another room in the back with tables. We ended up sitting at a very large table in the back that could seat more than the 4 people we had. I think next time I would seat on the sides in a booth. It was a little hard to hear each other at the table in the middle. We ended up ordering the garlic bread with burrata, meatballs and tomato sauce, and whipped ricotta for appetizers. The garlic bread was AMAZING ! We are still talking about it and will go back because of it. It's not your typical garlic bread. It was seeded Italian bread, garlic on the outside and melted cheese throughout....so so good. I also enjoyed the whipped ricotta. It was nice and smoothie and light paired nicely with the crostini. The dinners were Rigatoni Bolognese which was great homemade pasta with a flavorful meat sauce. Next was Steak over Garlic Potatoes...excellent flavor and meat was cooked perfectly. The other was the Chicken Cutlet pounded thinly to perfection. Tomato sauce had great flavor very fresh. The Lemoncillo Spritz was great to wash it all down. I definitely would like to go back. We finally made it to brunch here Sunday (7/27/2025).The overall decor is beautiful, it feels classic and modern. I started off with an espresso martini, I thought it was perfect, however I do tend to like mine on the sweeter side so if you do not like sweeter espresso martinis this one may not be for you. My husband and girlfriend ordered the martini on the drink menu (Kettle One) and they also had the blue cheese stuffed olives, I was told they were both very good! Next we ordered the breakfast lasagna, two orders of the eggs Benedict and a side of the hash. The eggs Benedict came with a side of hash (it's not mentioned in the menu) but I am so glad we also ordered the side because the hash was delicious!! It may have been my favorite part of the whole meal. The breakfast lasagna comes in what almost looks like a hot dip dish and was exceptional but I would have liked it more if the sausage was more evenly spread thought the dish. The eggs Benedict were flavorful and the hollandaise was perfection! Overall we had a great time and can't wait to return for dinner! read more

The dishes are made to order, fresh in house pasta that was very delicious. Chicken parm with tomato based sauce was delicious! The matcha martini was also very tasty. My husband and I just moved to Buffalo from Brooklyn and we've been pleasantly surprised by the 5 Points neighborhood, and Roseland's Atlas is a wonderful addition to the community. We decided to come for my birthday and it did not disappointed! We had the cheesy garlic bread to start which was delicious, I had the Julius which was one of the best Cesar salads I had. Loved the fresh anchovy. My husband had the Carbonara which he loved. I had two Italian Mules with basil, so fantastic plus one was on the house for my birthday! The service was amazing as well. We brought our 1-year-old with us and they couldn't have been sweeter to him. The best part was the ambiance. It's a very well designed restaurant and the AC was blasting on a hot summer day. I went for brunch with my dad. We were blown away by the food. First we shared the crepes. They were filled with ricotta and covered with berries. They were so good. We would both get them again. Then we had the Eggs Benedict. It was delicious. The hollandaise sauce was perfect. We've both eaten eggs benedict at many other Buffalo restaurants and this was one of our favorites. Stopped in for lunch today with my lunch buddy on May 8, 2025. The decor and ambience is fantastic. What a beautiful restaurant. The service was on point, wonderful attentive service. The food was great. I had the eggplant Parm, which was light flavorful with a beautifully rich sauce, not too cheesy at all. My lunch buddy had a beautiful guancale based pasta dish and we had the cannoli afterwards and it was a great experience. I grew up in the area; the building brought back so many memories and celebrations shared with Family! The Food: Amazing from presentation to taste. The pasta was cooked to perfection; the Halibut with the hint of citrus was delectable. Brussel side with truffle creamy and savory. Chicken cutlets just like coming home to Mom's! We had an absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant. The service was incredibly slow, and our server seemed overwhelmed and uncommunicative, she had zero knowledge of the menu or the wine list. We were left with dirty glasses and plates for the entire meal. While the food was mediocre, the lack of service made it even worse. There was 6 of us, which is how the reservation was made yet the entire evening we had to ask for an extra fork and extra plate and extra water, glass, etc. because we only had enough for five people. We ordered dessert which we were unable to eat right away until we tracked someone down to bring us utensils. Our server vanished for long periods. After tracking her down, we asked to order a bottle of wine. she rang it in but the bartender refused to serve it. When the manager walked by and I asked him about the closing policy, he reacted with shock and seemed defensive, saying it was the server's fault for not communicating. His attitude was rude and dismissive, and instead of addressing our concerns, he simply brought us an unopened bottle of wine and didn't even bother to provide glasses or acknowledge us further. The lack of professionalism and respect from both the server and the manager made this one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I absolutely do not recommend this place. I came from Canada on a recommendation of a friend and now she also won't ever be coming here either. We are in the industry and to say we were shocked they turned the music off with guests in the dining room and if I was the bar guest with the stools on the bar beside me I would have been appalled!!! Showed up for a 7:30pm reservation for 7 people; walked into two female bartenders arguing at the bar. Waited almost an hour to be sat at a table that was not adequate for 7 adults. When we requested to move to a bigger table, even the large table at the bar, we were not received very well. When finally moved, the staff ignored us for a while before finally bringing over water, menu', etc. Ordered a second glass of wine only to be told "we don't have that" (first glass was ordered from the bar) then told "we don't have anymore ". Food was lukewarm, restaurant missed out on revenue as server was not attentive to the need for more cocktails At the table 20% gratuity was added to bill without giving awareness. We are a group of 7 who dine monthly at locally owned establishments. Was looking forward to this as we all have memories at Roselands. Will not be returning. read more

A nice little supper club - well worth the drive for value and taste. The table shared a Caesar salad and a stuffed DeCamillo's loaf. Both were excellent, and the white anchovies were delicious. Table ordered a plethora of Italian dishes - all flavorful. I opted for a fried chicken schnitzel with a mushroom brown gravy ... it was wonderful. Shared cassatta cake and celebrity sighting [George the animal steele] were the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Went here for a girls dinner, which we made reservations for. We waited about 15 minutes for our table and were seated outdoors in October. They had blankets on the chairs, which was a nice touch. It started to rain and the waitstaff was incredible with moving us inside swiftly. I would definitely suggest the meatball, bread and the chicken parm with vodka. Roseland Atlas is terrible, food is too salty or burnt or under seasoned, too loud where you can't hear the person never to you and reservations take an hour and a half to be sat! Skip this one. Many friends had the same experience so it's not a one time thing. Avoid at all costs and treat yourself to a better experience elsewhere read more
