Ristorante Lombardo

With fast and friendly service I started out with a glass of Moscato Wine, the complimentary bread and and the baby gem wedge salad.Next came six huge lobster ravioli, very tasty. For dessert I settled on to the frou frou cake which was amazing. Nice vibe with music and a bar to grab a drink.

With speedy service and a smile I received the complimentary bread basket and my baby gem Wedge Salad which I paired with a glass of Moscato. For my entree I ordered the delicious six Lobster ravioli. To crave my sweet tooth I got the frou frou cake with berries and that was very tasty.Nice size bar to grab a cocktail.

I had heard wonderful reviews about Lombardo for years, but somehow never dined there until recently when my husband and I enjoyed our Anniversary dinner at Lombardo. Service and food were amazing...as a starter, I selected to wood roasted figs (figs wrapped in prosciutto and served with gorgonzola, arugula, red onion, balsamic). So good that I could have had another order as my entree! The entree I did select was "The Continental" which is a great option for folks like me who are indecisive, as it features shrimp scampi, veal francese, broccolini, and hand made tagliatelle. While I'm not a huge shrimp fan, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The veal was extremely tender and flavorful. The pasta was light and perfectly al dente. The service was exceptional-I especially appreciated the fact that when we were seated, we found a hand written card wishing us a Happy Anniversary and thanking us for choosing Lombardo for our celebration. You don't see this every day, but helps to explain why they've been around so long!

Roasted figs were delicious!!

Had an amazing birthday dinner meal here with my wife! The food was excellent and the dining room was decked with beautiful Christmas decorations! The service was very good as well! Would highly recommend visiting for some great Italian!

From beginning (complimentary valet service) to end (pastry chef on premises), this is a restaurant to make you and your companions feel pampered. Currently in it's 50th year of operation, the rooms are modern and elegant. The main dining room had an enormous flower arrangement like you'd find at the NYC Metropolitan Museum of Art. A private room had a family birthday party going on, seating 20. Each dish we ordered was beautifully plated and prepared with care: Now that we've experienced a Caesar salad for two made table side, it will be hard to go back to getting a premade one placed in front of me! We both loved the linguine with white clam sauce, and my fazzoletti pasta with duck prosciutto, peas, in a cream and cheese sauce was spectacular! We ended the evening with a deconstructed black forest parfait, and each of the elements had been carefully made: It was as much fun to eat as it was to look at!

Every time we visit we are impressed!! The service and environment is impeccable and it's our favorite restaurant for occasions of any kind. The food is perfect no matter what dish you order. Our favorite bite here of all time is the carpaccio appetizer, it's sooo good. This visit I tried the continental and it was very lemony and delicious. We did a half portion of the seafood fra diavlo and I think I would get that as a whole next time! It is so garlicky and delicious. We also had the banoffee pie to go and it was delicious, we see why people love this dessert!! Can't wait until our next dinner here.

Great great service, delicious food, we had a great time here for our group dinner. I had honey crispy salad and 8oz filet mignon, I like both of them, well seasoned and cooked. Will definitely return!

Everything was excellent. From the time we pulled up and Valet parked to the time we left. Our Server was Louis and he was excellent. Our busser was David and he was great too. We were celebrating our Anniversary and they brought us 2 complimentary glasses of champagne and a card signed by the staff. A very nice touch We started with the table side prepared Caesar Salad. My husband was unsure because of the anchovies but I convinced him he had had them before and just didn't know. We both loved it. I am sure you could ask for no anchovies but they add so much to the taste. For our entrees we had the special short rib and the bolgnese. Both wonderful Our drinks were an extra dirty Martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and a expresso Martini. Delicious Although after eating dinnet we didn't need dessert but got it anyway. The banoffee pie was delicious. My husband ate most of it and raved about it. If you are looking for a restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, this is the place to go. We are looking forward to coming back when the patio opens just for pizza and wine

A wonderful evening!! My husband and I were looking to have a night out from toddler parenthood and wanted to eat somewhere not only delicious but somewhere with an atmosphere! I'm so glad we landed on Lombardo's! We were tucked into a two-person booth that felt very private which we appreciated. As much as we wanted to be out, we're still very exhausted and didn't want to be surrounded by loud noise and well-rested, childfree people to envy with their youth and un-tired faces lol Everyone we met was so professional, kind and attentive. The sommelier was approachable and helped me find a wine from their Rare and Vintage Wine list - by the glass! - and settled on a fantastic wine from 2006. We had the fried calamari - something I usually wouldn't get at somewhere so fancy but just really wanted to taste it well done, and it was amazing! I had the tagliatelle bolognese, my husband the steak, and then a chocolate banana creme brûlée which obviously was fantastic. An all around wonderful evening, dinner and experience!

Dining area

This restaurant is not cheap, but worth every cent. The atmosphere is great - tasteful choice of light jazz music, beautiful copper ceiling, very clean. The service is amazing - waiters are very professional. The food is fresh and delicious and menu has lots of options including vegetarian, wine lust is extensive. Overall, excellent place for celebrating with great food and wine.

What's the parking situation?

Can I wear nice dark jeans and a blouse or are dress pants required?

I would think this would be fine to wear! Don't know for sure, but I would wear it. As long as no rips and top dresses it up!!

What is the dress code? Should men wear suit jacket? Thanks!

Jackets aren't required but would be a nice touch

Wow. Hands down some of the best pizza we've had…read more We ordered the San Felice Pizza -- San Marzano tomatoes, house-made sausage, sweet and spicy peppers, onion, buffalo mozzarella, and fresh basil -- and it was absolute perfection. The flavors don't compete... they melt together into one big, perfect masterpiece. The peppers leaned sweet (no real heat), which made them the ideal companion to the delicious sausage. And that sausage? Made in-house and seasoned beautifully, with the perfect amount of fennel -- enough to give it that classic Italian character without overpowering the pie. Perfection! The buffalo mozzarella added creamy richness, the basil kept everything bright, and the San Marzano tomatoes were clean and balanced. We love pizza in all its forms -- New York style and Napoli alike -- but there is something about the rustic goodness of true Neapolitan pizza that has a special place in my pizza-loving heart. That airy, soft center and char-kissed crust from the wood-fired oven is magic. The use of such fresh ingredients makes Forno Napoli my favorite pizza on NY so far - authentic and intentional. There is a lot of love and pride in everything from the handmade crust to all of the toppings. They also serve a garlic butter and cheese dipping sauce for the crust -- indulgent and completely unnecessary in the BEST possible way. That blistered crust dipped in that sauce? Unreal. The cheese? Yes, they have the most beautiful wheel of pecorino they hand grate from to make this happen. No green shaker bottles here! We met Felix, the owner, and he was incredibly welcoming. He has such great energy -- warm, engaging, and clearly passionate. You can tell he's the heartbeat behind the recipes and the success of the business. It feels personal. He made us want to share just how great our entire experience was and he certainly made us want to return. Our only regret? We were too full to try another pizza. Do not hesitate. This truly is a slice of heaven.

The bartenders were all friendly, but Tom was particularly helpful. Checking to mate sure that everything was good and offering suggestions. I ordered steak in au gratin potatoes. He brought me cheese bread that was phenomenal. It was served with butter and some sort of sauce that I didn't try. I got a new york strip that was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The au gratin potatoes were shredded potatoes. They were okay but definitely not what I would have expected at a steakehouse. I would not order them again. We ordered a variety of appetizers, and the meatball and Mediterranean platters remain my favorites. You must try their homemade pita--light, airy, and with just the right chew. They absolutely know how to do steak. My side of almond broccolini unexpectedly stole the show. The bright burst of lemon was the perfect complement, cutting through the richness of the mashed potatoes and filet. As for dessert? Hands down, the chocolate mousse cake. For the first time ever, I was charged two dollars for "on the rocks". My grandson ordered a caesar salad which he didn't eat because it smelled fishy. While we had a 5pm reservation, in hindsight it probably wasn't necessary as we were seated right away and quickly greeted by our server, Allie G. To start, I ordered the Apple Cider Mule (mocktail) which was festive and delicious while my brother went for the Logan Mule (so Buffalo). Naturally, we wanted bread (what I thought was a given in an Italian restaurant). Sadly, it was $3 for warm bread, which felt a little rude, but of course I ordered it and devoured it, too! I also started with the mushroom bisque that was on special and it was fantastic as it was rich, flavorful, and the kind of soup you want to eat slowly so it lasts longer. For my entree I chose the Crespelle while my brother got his favorite, the Brasciole. The food was truly the highlight of the evening. Everything was prepared well and very, very satisfying. I would say that the service, unfortunately, left a bit to be desired. Not terrible, but not great. I hate having to ask another server to bring a box, the check, etc. because our server was no where to be found. There is free parking somewhere, though we only noticed the sign for it after we had already paid to park. That said, the atmosphere at Tappo is always lovely and the portions were generous for the price. Of course, I'd absolutely return - especially to try one of their fun igloos someday!
