Love this place! Home away from home feeling with exceptional service, excellent food, and lovely atmosphere and overall feeling!

Bread with a pesto sauce which actually I did not care for I like the oil vinegar pesto much better

Well, it's been a long time since I've been to a Rizzo's restaurant and we wanted to try this one on Transit. I love the place. It's nice and big and clean. The service was very good, but I'm Italian and I had lasagna and I really have to say the sauce to me wasn't what I'm used to my husband had a shrimp pasta dish and he said there was very little shrimp in it. Will I give them another chance to impress me, of course! Usually, I'll at least try Restaurant twice to see if if I'll ever go back again

Let me just start off with this- we didn't realize it was restaurant week so the menu was very limited. This is not the restaurant's fault but it just wasn't what we were hoping for as we were in the mood for specific dishes. I started with the Autumn salad. It was sparse, but it was delicious. My husband got the banana pepper arancini. He enjoyed it. About 15 minutes after our appetizers came out they gave us bread (it was warm and the usual) and a small condiment cup of their traditional pesto sauce (that we love). The only problem is it was for five of us to share so it just felt weird to have it in such a small to go cup. Our main courses did not come out for about an hour. This was strange because it wasn't that busy yet. It didn't seem understaffed for the amount of people that were there, but I don't know what the situation is behind the scenes. The main courses looked great. They tasted good. But honestly, I feel like they should've tasted better based on how they looked. I'm not really sure how to explain it... It wasn't bad, but it wasn't phenomenal. It wasn't what we expected based on years of going to Rizzos on Eggert. Overall, the experience just felt a little off. Almost like they were a new restaurant still getting their bearings. I don't know if it's just because we had different expectations going in. I don't know if it's because the restaurant week courses we got for $25 weren't blowing us away (again, not bad just not what we expected). With all this said, we will go back to eat from their traditional menu. The service was great. It did take a long time to get our food but our server was very attentive to our needs. The atmosphere needs some patching up/updating/deep cleaning, but nothing that would make me not want to eat there. It does remind me a bit of the Eggert location. It is spacious. When we left, the bar was packed but it's very separate from the dining area so it does not greatly impact your dining experience if you're looking for a quieter dinner.

With speedy service and a smile I received the complimentary bread and my house salad that was included with my pasta selection of the pasta broccoli. The pasta broccoli was a penne pasta with garlic, butter and cheese and was hot and tasty. Seafood , chicken and pizzas are also on the menu. Nice size bar to grab a cocktail. Lots of parking in their lot.

Came back to Rizzos FINALLY and my experience was a little different than the first time. However, the food was still amazing! First I will mention that service was really slow here this time. We were there for an hour and 40 minutes total. We (just 2 of us) figured that maybe they were understaffed. But it was never communicated to us at all. Fortunately we were not in a rush to get anywhere but it would have maybe taken away the wondering where our food was portion of the dinner had we known. And now I am not sure if this is the average long wait time or if they were indeed understaffed that evening. The second thing I want to mention is that we ordered the arancini appetizer. When it arrived, it came with blue cheese which was odd and my friend immediately asked for red sauce (the ... I think manager ... brought the arancini to us). The manager then asked if the arancini was described to us and we both looked puzzled and said no. Well, I guess the arancini is "chefs choice" each week (it changes every week). So this week was buffalo chicken. My friend doesn't like stuff like that at all. The manager did try to make it right though, repeatedly offering something in its place. Now me, I like buffalo chicken so he let me try it and see if I liked it before leaving the table. I personally thought it was really good! No, it wasn't the arancini we expected but it was something different and I liked it. My friend was not interested. So make sure if you order the arancini you get a description for that week! Additionally, I hope they can help the ventilation in the ladies bathroom. Because we were there so long, I used the ladies room twice, both an hour apart, and the smell was so bad in there I gagged. I ordered the Michaels pasta again. It was great but they forgot my ricotta. Luckily my waiter walked by soon after being served and I was able to have him bring me my dollop. Otherwise, it was very good again. I liked the presentation the first time I ordered it better but that's ok. And the house Italian was good on my salad. Loved the dipping oil for the bread (same as before). We did get less bread this time though, and only 1 kind versus 2, but it was good and nice and warm. My friend ordered veal and said it was very good. Service remains friendly and food of high quality still so I will not take away stars for the things I mentioned ... hopefully it was just an off night / low staff.

We were a little worried when we walked in and it was empty at 6pm on a Saturday night. Server showed us to the atrium which was nice because we had a party of 9 with 5 kids. Service was attentive and I liked how they could make each plate a smaller portion for kids, so the options were endless for the kids. They all loved their pizza, the crust was thick and crunchy, and the kids said they loved the sauce. They served warm bread with this amazing oil/garlic dip- which the kids ate up. I had the seafood pasta which had extra shrimp, mussels and scallops because they were out of clams. It was very good! My wife and kids had the ravioli but they said it was just okay. They were huge but the kids didn't like the filling. Great place for large groups and good food.

She ordered it almost every weekend! Living in Lockport puts us just on the fringe of delivery with DoorDash. But when the weather was good DoorDash would deliver... snowing, not so much. This Mother's Day was the first without Mom. She passed last month. So when my brother and I were cleaning her house, I decided that we needed to order some delicious food from Campobello's!!! I totally expected that it would take a bit because of the Mother's Day rush. I kept checking the app and it said driver is waiting for food. What I didn't expect was the driver to stop waiting and then DoorDash canceling our order. Here is where an amazing thing happened. I called the restaurant and the wonderful young lady told me the kitchen was cranking orders out as fast as they could, but the driver couldn't wait. It was getting late in the evening and I was bummed that we couldn't celebrate Mom with her favorite food. So the nice young lady put me on hold and came back and said, "We'll send our delivery person"! I was so Happy! The food arrived 20 minutes later, piping hot and Delicious! This "above and beyond" performance was absolutely incredible! Thank You Campobello's for great food and Wonderful People! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Campobello's Cucina Italiana!!!

The service was friendly, but kind of slow considering we were the only table. They had a special menu for lunch, which had a variety of dishes starting at $8. We all ordered off that menu; two of us getting chicken Milanese and one getting a gf pasta covered in cheese. We were brought some warm Italian bread with dipping oil. It was tasty. I love when the bread comes out fresh and warm. My chicken Milanese was good, but quite small... I'm guessing maybe 2oz of actual meat or so. I left still hungry and I'm a small gal. My friend's gf pasta looked quite filling and was loaded with ooey-gooey mozzarella cheese. She said it was too much for her, but it looked like the perfect amount for me haha.

Half of our group (was a total of four of us) enjoyed their food. The restaurant was clean and bathroom smelled very pleasant. Pricing was fair for what was enjoyed. The focaccia bread was the star of the show for me. My guests enjoyed the shrimp scampi, but felt the portion was small and the salmon was delicious. I did taste a piece of the salmon and was jealous as I can confirm it was delicious...wonderfully seasoned and perfectly cooked. Con's: The other half of our party did not enjoy the food. Unfortunately, I was in that bunch. It was quite surprising as the menu is not robust at all; so our thought was that the items that ARE on the menu must be a delicious specialty. I had the pork chops with pasta and spinach. The pork chop was tough and the pasta was bland. The sauce that accompanied the meal was tasty and moved the overall meal from a 'no', to an 'ok'. Won't be back, but encourage you all to check them out as the other half of our table truly enjoyed their meals.

I called ahead and the lady who answered the phone was super nice, our waitress was really nice, another waitress I passed in the hall complimented my dress. Great service goes a long way with me and these ladies nailed it! The menu was a little limited and definitely lived up to its name: Linguines! I was hopeful for an arancini app but no such luck. It's ok though... I wasn't sure if there was complimentary bread so I did order the garlic bread ... well there is complimentary bread and butter, which was good, but no regrets on the garlic bread. It was good and my son really loved it! I don't normally order a garlic bread for this reason (comp bread plus garlic bread is too much bread) so it was a nice change of pace you could say! The drink situation was a little odd ... I only drink water for the most part ... sometimes a cocktail but I was with my son and didn't want to have a drink and they will give you soup with your entree ONLY IF you get a paid beverage. You can't have the soup with your entree if you only drink water. THEN we find out no refills on paid drinks. I am glad the waitress at least told us that, but it seems odd and kind of cheap of a restaurant to not give refills. Also weird to only give soup to those who don't drink water. I've never seen a restaurant do this. But the food was plenty so it's fine. My son did get a beverage that wasn't water, so he was able to get his soup. My son ordered the Alfredo and got the Italian wedding soup with it. I got the house made manicotti with meatballs. We enjoyed everything. I didn't love the meatballs but I am so picky about meatballs I wouldn't judge my review on that. If you're a texture person, they are firm meatballs. Me and my son both tried each others food and enjoyed. Our leftovers were gone a few hours later. Again, good service, and enjoyed the fresh air on the patio.
