Checked this place out after an event. Pro's: Customer service from the young lady attending to us was absolutely fantastic. Attentive, appropriately apologetic, honest, and polite. Half of our group (was a total of four of us) enjoyed their food. The restaurant was clean and bathroom smelled very pleasant. Pricing was fair for what was enjoyed. The focaccia bread was the star of the show for me. My guests enjoyed the shrimp scampi, but felt the portion was small and the salmon was delicious. I did taste a piece of the salmon and was jealous as I can confirm it was delicious...wonderfully seasoned and perfectly cooked. Con's: The other half of our party did not enjoy the food. Unfortunately, I was in that bunch. It was quite surprising as the menu is not robust at all; so our thought was that the items that ARE on the menu must be a delicious specialty. I had the pork chops with pasta and spinach. The pork chop was tough and the pasta was bland. The sauce that accompanied the meal was tasty and moved the overall meal from a 'no', to an 'ok'. I love making my own pasta combination and when I saw that there was a places in town that did that, I had to stop by. The staff at A'mano is super friendly and the person who took our order patiently listened to all of my customizations. He even came by later to give me more information on the breaded vegan chicken I ordered with my pasta. The complimentary focaccia house bread was delicious even without any dips (which you'll rarely ever hear me say as I'm not a fan of eating just bread). My pasta was pretty good and I especially loved the breaded vegan chicken which was very flavorful. My friend got a similar pesto pasta dish with real unbreaded chicken and thought it was decent too. The ambiance is pleasant and is great for both lunch and dinner. It was a bit pricey with all my customized items but I think it deserves a visit every now and then to satisfy my craving of interesting combinations of sauce - fresh pasta - protein! read more

Our server was friendly, the restaurant was cozy and kinda of fancy, yet casual at the same time and the pasta was fresh & delicious! My friend and I visited on a Tuesday night around 5pm. There was one table seated when we arrived and two more that arrived while we were dining. We both opted for the create your own pasta and neither of us were disappointed. I ordered the buccatini with arribiata sauce, spinach, mushrooms, onions, a grilled chicken breast and fresh shaved parmesan & grated romano. My friend got gemeli with Alfredo, garlic, chicken cutlet and fresh shaved parmesan & grated romano. While we waited for our pasta delicious, warm focaccia was brought out with sauce for dipping. It had just the right amount of olive oil, salt and rosemary on it. When our pasta arrived it was hot and cooked perfectly al dente. The arribiata sauce could have had more kick to it... the waiter warned me it was spicy, but it was just mildly spicy to me and I added crushed red pepper. This is an Italian-American restaurant, and not an Italian restaurant. I say that to specify that they have HUGE meatballs, which is something which is more popular here than in Italy. I'm not personally fond of large meatballs, as I prefer more seared meat to internal meat. That being said, I did like the pasta and the sauce. I didn't know what to expect when I popped in here for dinner one night, but I have to say the pasta I got was amazing. It's a bit like a subway for pasta. Pick your noodle, pick your sauce, pick your toppings. And the premixed offerings they put together are amazing. Tried Amano Pasta and was really impressed. I ordered the build your own pasta and the creamy pesto sauce was fantastic. It was rich, flavorful, and not overpowering at all. The pasta is made fresh in house and the portions were filling with high quality ingredients. Pricing felt pretty reasonable with dishes starting at $14, and all of the staff were great. I've driven by this restaurant a lot and never had the chance to try it out until now! First off, the choices can be overwhelming but the man at the counter was nice and helpful and gave us some great suggestions. I opted for the large which was around $22 but the portion was very large. I loooove pesto so I picked that with mushroom, eggplant, and basil. The protein was an additional $4. This was a spur of the moment date night and we decided to finally check this spot out. The idea of creating your own pasta dish with fresh ingredients is such a cool concept. It was a little overwhelming to try to decide what I wanted, so I ended up going with old reliable, broccoli alfredo with grilled chicken. The food was phenomenal. I thought I would want to share some of it with my date but ended up eating it all. My date ended up ordering the shrimp scampi which was my next choice and that looked really good too. Everything tasted fresh and homemade giving this a great experience. The service here was so quick and organized too. They have a couple of people cooking, while one person is running food and taking orders. The restaurant itself was super cozy and had that classic italian dinner vibe. This review is from my dining experience on New Years Eve 2024. A'mano offers a five star Italian experience, in a laid back cozy inviting setting. The jazz music in the background sets the tone, and watching your food prepared fresh is well worth the wait time. The service was perfect, despite going in later on a holiday. Decent size regular portion, if your sharing though for two I would recommend the larger portion. Its a bit pricey, but for quality its definitely worth it for a create your own Italian dish. I had a five star experience at A'mano, but that's from a non-food perspective. A'mano is a lovely restaurant. Thanks to the pleasantly decorated interior and very good service (no waiting staff), it can be a great place to catch up with friends. The atmosphere is casual and laid back. I really liked the jazzy music in the background, it was very relaxing. We ordered lunch specials, a small pasta, salad or dessert and beverage. Choosing from the signature pasta menu was easy. There are two side salad options. I went for Caesar and forgot to ask for the dressing on the side. No worries. All dressings are Ken's brand packets. This seemed strange, especially since they are proud of their homemade pasta. Not sure about sauces. My 'Creamy Black Truffle with Mushrooms and Pappardelle' was cooked perfectly al dente, but was drenched in too much heavy sauce and covered in a massive amount of shredded Parmesan cheese. I would prefer that the pasta be the star of the show. Similarly, the salad also definitely had too much cheese. It was a Parmesan overdose. Focaccia was just fine, nothing special. Give them a try if you're in the area. We decided to stay there only because the wait for a table at the restaurant we wanted to visit was too long. However, in the end we had a good time. read more

Tonight was my first visit to A'mano Fresh Pasta. Walking in, the restaurant is nicely decorated and features a "fast casual" ordering model. It was a little tough to see the tiny menu on the glass so I ended up pulling it up on my phone (I think they said they were remodeling but it would be helpful to have menus available to ease the ordering process). I ordered the bolognese and my husband built his own pasta. I also ordered a wine spritzer. The service was prompt and I really enjoyed the fact that the pasta was hot when it came out. I really enjoyed my dish and I could tell the ingredients were fresh and the pasta was handmade. Despite the fast casual model, staff came and checked how our meal was. We had an exceptional experience here, and as a gluten-free person I was so happy to find house-made gemelli gluten-free pasta. I would say if you are going for the gluten-free pasta, call ahead or order online to ensure that they have it, since it is made in-house they only make so much - I was lucky enough to get the last portion tonight. My friends had a variety of dishes from appetizers to pasta plates and salads, and everyone loved everything. I had their butternut soup special and I've never tasted anything like it, a complementary dab of pepper oil and other enhancements made it stand out above all other squash soups that I've had before. They make everything here from scratch except one of the desserts. They do a really great takeout game for those nights that You just want to eat delicious Italian food at home without buying specialty ingredients and putting in the work. We went around 5:30 on a Friday. The person worker was very helpful in explaining the process and with recommendations. I got the Creamy Mushroom Black Truffle which was absolutely amazing. There were numerous mushrooms which were obviously fresh. The sauce was nice and creamy. The person I was with got a creat your own with Vodka sauce with spinach and sausage. They absolutely loved it as well, also creamy. We sat outside on the patio which was very nice and would recommend if the weather is nice. The food is brought out to you, it took maybe 5 to 10 minutes to recieve. There is no parking lot, but there is free 2 hour parking right along the street in front of the business. I was pleasantly surprised at the taste and freshness of the food at A'mano. I stopped by at lunch to put an order in for 3 pasta bowls and a sandwich. They do have lunch specials that I saw online but not on their main menu boards. Everything was cooked to order using fresh pasta and whatever other ingredients you want to add. They have "make your own" regular and large size bowls and some suggestions that you can order directly from the menu. You can add more or less ingredients to everything. The pesto and meatball sandwich (you can choose other proteins) was a bit greasy and didn't have much meat on it, but it was still very tasty. The mushroom truffle pasta had just enough truffle flavor, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The pasta bolognese was so meaty and flavorful, and I think that was my favorite. The jalapeño and cheddar pasta was excellent too, and I enjoyed the kick from the peppers. I have been here a few times time and it's been alright. The food is good but I feel they don't always put enough sauce on. I do always feel as if they as always super busy when I have gone in and there seems to be a lot of people but only person actually making the food. There is a lot of tables for you to sit at and there is a water jug which I think is pretty neat. Recently I did order a delivery through door dash and I was disappointed. I got the parpadelle with the white cheese sauce and there was barely any sauce. And it was missing the bread crumbs and shaved parm which I had paid extra for double. I will say I ordered a large and left with left-overs which isn't something I do often. A hearty serving indeed. For my create your own I made an Alfredo dish with bucatini, broccoli, and grilled chicken (which other cheese and seasonings I chose). It hit the mark all the way! Yum! Also, it comes with a piece of bread flavored with olive oil and seasonings. This is the place for a qood, quality pasta dish! Staff is always friendly (I've come for other people's orders). I decided to give this "New to me" place a try. I realize it has been around just under a year and had just really noticed it a few weeks ago. Generally, when we spot a place that draws attention, we quickly do a search to see what "deets" are gonna be. So we stopped in at the idea of building your own pasta bowl. I remember a time a local supermarket offered this as an option, and it was well received. I hate that they stopped it. They have some put-together options for the person who wants to try and isn't sure what to get. I believe there are 7 selections to choose from, and I am certain that number will continue to grow. My party opted to build our own, and our selections were papadelle and bucatini pastas with blush and marinara sauce. We also selected grilled chicken. So, the way this works is to select your size, pasta, and sauce. You then come down and make selections for seasoning and ingredients and then protein A regular is a hearty portion, and the large would probably feed 2 people. The staff was VERY helpful withering selections and providing information. They were patient and very willing to explain things. While there, I noticed a number of take out orders being picked up. They have self-serve utensils for dining in as well as additional seasonings, water, and other items on the rear table. There are plenty of tables for dining in The ambiance is simple, casual, and comfortable On to the food... The bowls were great! They came hot and fresh! The flavors were robust The portion was on point, and the bread was to die for. Chad, the manager, came over and has such an outgoing personality. Ordering is counter service style and at first glance the menu was a bit overwhelming because there are so many choices, but the staff was patient and helpful with recommendations. Basically, you build your own dish starting by choosing a pasta, then a sauce, then seasonings, then toppings, and proteins come at an additional cost. Not going to lie, the prices did add up for a family of three. I think because it's so casual and you just order at the counter I expected it to be a bit more affordable than other local Italian restaurants, but it really wasn't. That said, the quality of the pasta was very good. We tried the rigatoni and the bucatini and both were fantastic. My wife had the creamy pesto sauce and loved it. The chicken was high quality and cooked well, all the veggies were fresh. The only downside was the Alfredo sauce was incredibly runny and a bit watered down, more like soup than sauce. Every other ingredient was fantastic. Shrimp is not cooked and broccoli was just stems. That is an immediate CANT DO ! Like why are we doing that? if you expect any flavor forget that also no seasonings in sauce or veggies or shrimp. You can "make your own" by telling the employee what to put in, or have one of the signature dishes, which all sounded great. The problem was they drowned the pasta in all kinds of nasty tasting sauces. I had the Alfredo and I think they got it off the supermarket shelf. My companion's sauces were no better.
