Great little store that specializes in products from all over Western New York. It's nice seeing that Kissed By the Sun recognized that promoting other local products is a win win for all. They're even going to have other local vendors outside during the upcoming weekends. The store is small and my only issue was the amount of people inside the store all at the same time. There were only 2 people when we entered and at least 12-15 when we left. Social distancing should be enforced. We picked up a couple items and will be back to check out the store again.

Stopped by the Buffalo Artisan Food Traders to celebrate Small Business Saturday. Since the start of the pandemic I have been truly trying to support small/local business more and upon hearing about this place opening I was excited to hear about the ability to find so many local favorites all in one place. Situated in what for now may be called the Whole Foods Plaza you'll find this shop behind the bank branch and across from the old movie theater. The shop is not very big however they where handling all COVID protocols, requiring face masks, requesting social distancing and limiting customer size while in the store. Inside you will find a variety of local favorites such as Blue Table Chocolates, Deb's Delights, the Bloom and Rose and more. To me this feels like one part farmer's market and one part Broadway Market and I love it. Although this location is not big be sure to look around every corner and on every shelf, everything is arranged very well however each shelf, each space has something different on it. I found an olive oil I recently saw while at the Kenmore Farmer's Market, a variety of spices and seasoning, Italian cookies, cheeses, CBD, and more than I can remember right now. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are a true blue fan of WNY and the tasty products our hometown produces.

Saturday, October 24, 2020 was the soft-opening of this brand-new, conglomerate of local delights. A variety of businesses from all over Western and Central NY have their wares for sale at this central location in Amherst, NY. According to their website, "Buffalo Artisan Food Traders was created to pool strengths and create a one-stop shop for people to buy local and get the added benefit of safe home delivery of your favorite Western New York food brands." Dried & frozen filled pastas, pierogi, cheeses, sauces, spices, seasonings, salsas, popcorn, sweets, even dog treats, and soaps. These offerings are just the start, as there are more businesses joining soon. Call for Grand Opening & holiday hours. Shop is closed Mondays. Free Local Delivery On Orders $75+ (within a 15-mile radius of the store) | In Store Pick Up | Free USA Shipping On All Orders $150+ A variety of payment methods accepted. Visit their website to sign up for promotions, new products, and sales at https://wnyfoodtraders.com/

I'll start by saying this, even though you can find similar items at stores such as. Trader Joe's, Whole foods, and even the organic/specialty section of Wegmans. Buffalo Artisan's items are all locally sourced. For being such a small store, every bit of the store, is full of great food items. You'll find spices, frozen meats, candy's, sauces, honey, and so much more. If you like supporting your local neighbors, then this place is a must visit.

We saw the announcement of this shop opening a little while ago and looked for it when driving down Baily, but did not see it. Recently there was a sign, pointing us towards Whole Foods. It is a very small place with a lot of local merchandise. A lot of different businesses are represented, most of the time there is just a limited number of their assortment. It is a very nice initiative. It makes it a lot easier to buy from local vendors without traveling all over Buffalo. Local vendors I saw are M&M pickles, Pickle Annie, Bloom and Rose, Parkside Candy, Paula's Pierogies, Yancey Fancy cheese and many more. Even though the place is small, all covid-19 rules are followed.

Stopped in to check it out today! Super cute little shop, full to the brim with local goodies! Jam, jellies, hot sauces, spices and more! All locally made brands you know. Kissed by the Sun, What's Poppin, Babcia etc. I couldn't resist picking up a few favorites. The three P's! Pickles, popcorn and pierogies! Great customer service too!

After seeing an ad on Instagram for the last "Shop Local Saturdays & Holiday Pop Up Markets" at Buffalo Artisan Food Traders, I decided my mom and I should stop on by. I always work early Saturday mornings, but this week I was working later in the day, so it was meant to be. There were 10-15 socially distanced vendors outside, and the store was open during the pop-up market. We stopped in the store first because they were limiting the amount of people due to COVID regulations. The shop itself is quite small, but everyone was doing their best to give each other space. There are so many local vendors with a variety of unique products. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of vegan products for sale. I found a vegan chocolate bar (Dark Forest Chocolates), veggie burgers (GoVeggies), and a protein bar (The Blend Bar), but there was also biscotti, spices, condiments, etc. that were vegan friendly. My mom also picked a candy bar for herself by the Sweet Whisk, and some Babicia's Pierogis. We love to shop local as often as we can, so it felt good to spend our money where in matters. You can also order online and they offer free local delivery of orders of $75+ within a 15 mile radius of the store. Many of the outdoor vendors were the same as what was in the store, but there were a few different ones as well. It was cold so we briefly checked out all their tents before heading back to the car. We look forward to coming back and seeing what new products they bring in.

This. Is. Awesome! All in one place, many of your favorite, locally made products can be purchased here. What a wonderful place to put together a basket for a raffle or a gift, especially for that out of town friend or family member. My purchases included some favorites and some new items to try: * Swiss & Almond Cheese Spread from Cuba Cheese Shop * Farmer's Cheese Pierogi from Babcia's Pierogi * Everything Bagel Seasoning from Kissed By The Sun * Smokey Maple Nunda Mustard * Najah Mild Tamarind Sauce * Apple BBQ Sauce from Burning Asphalt Sauces They are planning on have vendors with additional products on site in the weeks leading up to the holidays. Some other items that were available were Pasta Peddler products, Bean Bastard Coffee, Laura's Raw Honey, Yancy Fancy Cheeses, Go Veggie Burgers, Gourmet Popcorn, Jams, Teas, Chocolates, and more! NOTE: this business is a little tricky to find. The address is Bailey Ave but the store doesn't face Bailey Ave. The building in near Bailey, to the left of Whole Foods but facing inwards towards the parking lot. I circled it on an aerial map to help you find it--look in my pics.

Checking out the Valentine's Market at Buffalo Artisans today!

I've been eyeing up Buffalo Artisan Food Traders reviews since they opened last year. We finally made it in to check the place out last weekend. We attended their outdoor fresh-air Valentine's Day Market event. First off, what a great idea for an event! We're Buffalonians! We can handle shopping outside in 17-degree weather! It was lovely! Very refreshing! Especially during a pandemic, when outdoor gatherings are far preferred. The market was spaced out and well organized, with about a dozen vendor booths. Plus ALPACAS! :-D We strolled the market, thinking we'll try a little something from a booth or two this time around. Welp, NOPE! We made purchases from EIGHT BOOTHS! :-D It was a sensational smorgasbord of local fare: M&M Pickles, Cuccidati Inc., Blue Eyed Baker, Moneybags Dumplings, Go Veggies, Spoonfuls Nut Butters, Twisted Vine Gardens, and a local jewelry maker. Glad the hubbs was buying! :-D All of these lovely local shops are for sale inside of the Buffalo Artisan Food Traders shop itself. We went into the store to do a loop, and came out of there with a local jelly too, haha. What an adorbs shop! You'll find all-things-Buffalo-foods in here. From baked goods, to pastas, to condiments, to sauces, to cheeses, to meats, to candy and chocolates, to some gift items, and more! If you #Buffalove as much as I do, you are definitely going to #Buffalove Buffalo Artisan Food Traders. I'm thrilled that this business is here to showcase all of our wonderful locally produced foods and goods. Buffalo has so much to offer your taste buds--head in for your 'little something' (or lotta' something, like us) to see what I mean! :-D

    Packed full of NY's finest!

Wow. Hands down some of the best pizza we've had…read more We ordered the San Felice Pizza -- San Marzano tomatoes, house-made sausage, sweet and spicy peppers, onion, buffalo mozzarella, and fresh basil -- and it was absolute perfection. The flavors don't compete... they melt together into one big, perfect masterpiece. The peppers leaned sweet (no real heat), which made them the ideal companion to the delicious sausage. And that sausage? Made in-house and seasoned beautifully, with the perfect amount of fennel -- enough to give it that classic Italian character without overpowering the pie. Perfection! The buffalo mozzarella added creamy richness, the basil kept everything bright, and the San Marzano tomatoes were clean and balanced. We love pizza in all its forms -- New York style and Napoli alike -- but there is something about the rustic goodness of true Neapolitan pizza that has a special place in my pizza-loving heart. That airy, soft center and char-kissed crust from the wood-fired oven is magic. The use of such fresh ingredients makes Forno Napoli my favorite pizza on NY so far - authentic and intentional. There is a lot of love and pride in everything from the handmade crust to all of the toppings. They also serve a garlic butter and cheese dipping sauce for the crust -- indulgent and completely unnecessary in the BEST possible way. That blistered crust dipped in that sauce? Unreal. The cheese? Yes, they have the most beautiful wheel of pecorino they hand grate from to make this happen. No green shaker bottles here! We met Felix, the owner, and he was incredibly welcoming. He has such great energy -- warm, engaging, and clearly passionate. You can tell he's the heartbeat behind the recipes and the success of the business. It feels personal. He made us want to share just how great our entire experience was and he certainly made us want to return. Our only regret? We were too full to try another pizza. Do not hesitate. This truly is a slice of heaven.
