    Fish Fillet
    Daniel L.

Had one of the best fish fry lunches in a loooong time! Food was piping hot and fresh. The fillet was large and quite thick in comparison to other places I've been. Seasoned Fries, Rye Bread (soft and thick), cole slaw and pasta salad. This is a take away setting but there are tables to sit and eat at. I will be dropping by whenever I'm in the area

Specialty cooking, baking, and food items is what you will find at Premier Gourmet on Maple Ave in Amherst. We purchased our Mocca Master drip coffee maker here and it's the best coffee maker we've ever owned. It is made in the Netherlands. Also found hazelnut & pistachio cream for the holiday macaroons we made. Also in the photo is pasta from Italy we're making for our New Years dinner. The deli has a great selection of Boars Head meats and a "cheese cave" with specialty cheeses from around the world. Everyone is so helpful at Premier Gourmet and they also support other local businesses by selling their specialty products here. If your looking for a new piece of cooking, baking, or coffee equipment or specialty food item check out Premier Gourmet for a unique experience.

I stopped in the other week because its neighbor was out of my beloved Blueberry Bounty mead, and I wanted to see what craft beers they carried. EBC Blueberry was not a surprise, but they even had EBC raspberry truffle. It wasn't until I came back a few weeks later with my boys that I explored more of the store. Baked goods. Specialty aiolis, balsamic vinegars, and olive oils. Jams and jellies. Honey, even honeycombs. Various pastas. Snacks. Cooking supplies. Kitschy home decor. Gourmet candy. So much candy. Boozy gummies from Sugarfina, Bailey's truffles, imported licorice, marzipan, and more. I trust Santa will be filling my stocking with plenty of goodies from here.

The $15.99 fish fry is good and available every day just in back , they have a little seating area and a nice little menu of flatbread, sandwiches, the deli and bakery as well

Been here before and saw different things that I've never seen before. Amazing whole coffee bean selection from around the world which I loved the most. Also great selection of high quality products such as kitchen items, alcohol, cheeses, foods, teas, and many more. Went here yesterday to check if they sell the cheese that I've been looking and as soon as I walk in the cheese section I saw it right away. Well organized and easy to find what you need. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Always very happy with the service. It's on the pricey side but worth the drive.

Calling all Foodies! Premier Gourmet is a speciality foods, beer, gourmet cookware and even has all your local Buffalo themed foods and gift items store! It's definitely my go to when I'm putting together a cheese and charcuterie board. They house rare imported cheeses and meats perfect for a delightful board! I've picked up my favorite cookware from here La Creuset as they have a wide variety. Luxardo Maraschino Cherries are always plentiful here and I get them for my Manhattans and Old Fashioneds. Every year I ask one of the beer experts for help in picking out a a gift for my brother-in-law whom loves his craft beer and they always come through with amazing choices of unique craft beer from all over the US. This store is for the foodie in you or a specialized gift for the foodie in your life! The store has a small cafe in it called The Kitchen in the left hand back corner of the store. There's plenty of tables for dining in. There's artisan flatbread pizza, salads, soups, gourmet sandwiches and desserts on the menu with a new edition of a fish fry. Not sure if the fish fry is a seasonal item or will be permanently on the menu, but, I highly recommend trying it! It's a beer-battered fried haddock filet that comes with delicious house-seasoned French fries, house-made pasta salad & coleslaw, rye bread, a lemon wedge, butter and tartar sauce. The dinner was huge and so good! The fish was fried perfectly, the salads had amazing flavors, and the fries were well seasoned and cooked just right! I pre-ordered on the Toast app and my order was waiting for me when I got there. I also ordered a piece of Baklava for dessert and that was out of this world too! I can't wait to try more items from The Kitchen in the future.

I stopped here tonight, when I was in the area. The beer is pretty pricy but all good beer is. After a $20 gift card from a past birthday, my order was around $47. I bought $17 worth of Sausalito turkey. It has a bit of a kick to it and tastes great! I bought rye bread, which was near the deli. I bought olives stuffed with bleu cheese, which were right across from the deli. On the other side of the olives, near the sit down area, I found slices of cheesecake, cake, and other things. I bought myself a piece of the chocolate peanut butter cake. I also bought some fun beers. I bought one can of the mocha frappe milk stout, one can of the Cassian Sunset, a four pack of the Black Ops Barrel Aged Stout, and one can of the Sarah Cynthia Sylvia stout. (My name is Sarah. I "had to" try it. It tasted fantastic!!!) The staff were kind and considerate, especially the guy in the deli. We were joking about things. This place is really cool and I'm glad I stopped by here.

I love when I visit premier gourmet I see so many things that I have never seen before and I get to try out different things, on my trip today I bought two bags of holiday grog for my sister-in-law who lives in Chicago she loves this particular coffee so every year around the holidays I mail her a couple of bags for Christmas. They have so many different varieties of coffee, and also if you are premier member I believe it is when you accumulated 120 points you get $10 off of your coffee purchase and in my book that is a big plus, but today I did not get a chance to just walk around the aisles and look at everything I will do that on a future outing and also the customer service was great

I like coming here for my olive oil. A great place for trying novelty things or things you just haven't tried before. They have a lot of cool gifts and tools to make things, for instance crème brûlée or all the ingredients for escargot. So many different flavorings for coffee, etc. Although a lot of their stuff is from around the globe I'd like seeing more of that snacks & chocolate wise. It's a pretty big open place you can get lost in for a while, they have a cafe with lots of fresh baked goods. Although I haven't seen the cafe open the times I've came yet, the red velvet cookies are delicious.

I needed black walnut bitters for the signature cocktail we're serving at our annual Oscar party this year. Thank you, Premier Gourmet for not making me order these online. AND, how nice to see they've repaired their search engine. No more weird results totally unrelated to what you're looking for. (Last year I was searching "German beer" and it asked me if I meant "finger been". Hilarious, but zero help.) Don't need a ham rack? No? Well, if you find you do - they've got 'em!

Goose island 2018 bourbon county stout
    Jurel H.

A very good place to purchase a wide range of custom beers. Todays visit was to get the Goose island bourbon county stout. Because this beer is only available once a year & in limited quantities I was surprised to find it available here at 2pm. Now I know I can count on Premier to have all sorts of limited edition beers in the future. You can also find good quality kitchen gourmet accessories and food here as well.

I want to focus my review on a positive customer service experience I had. Recently, I placed a large Meals2Go order through the Wegmans app. When my order arrived, we discovered that one of our subs had been mixed up with a sub from someone elses order. Unfortunately, it was for the one gluten free person in our party- so, she was out of luck food-wise until we could get this fixed. When I called the store, they were apologetic and offered a great solution. The manager on duty offered to drive over our sub for us and managed to get it over to us within about 40 mins. She was incredibly apologetic and included a handwritten note, a tub of regular cookies, and a pack of gluten free cookies too! I appreciate that they went above and beyond to fix what could have been a night ruining issue. Wegmans has always been good to my family over the decades and that incident was no exception. I couldn't recommend it more. Watch the viral concert clip of Tyler, the Creator on YouTube if you need more evidence on why Wegmans is awesome (warning - strong language used).

The cake is not overly sweet, was actually the perfect bite. The cake itself was moist, with plenty of berries. It definitely could feed more than 12 and we were cutting nice size slices. I highly recommend if looking for something different.

Naturally, I still find myself frequenting this Wegmans whenever I'm back in Buffalo. The Amherst Street Wegmans has a massive parking lot, though you would never know it during the peak hours. You might not snag a spot close to the entrance but you'll find a spot. Might I suggest that patience is basically required, as with all things Wegmans. Once inside, I'm almost always overwhelmed (in the best way) by how much there is. Prepared foods, deli counter, meat and seafood, bakery, flowers, produce, frozen foods. You name it, Wegmans has it and they probably have a Wegmans branded version, too. I love browsing the craft beer section and, more recently, the growing selection of non-alcoholic options (Thank you, Wegmans!). Honestly, I can't complain. Yes, Wegmans can feel overwhelming, but now that I don't actually work there anymore, I've grown to appreciate the variety, freshness, quality, and pricing.
