With speedy service and a smile I received the complimentary bread badket.Next up was a house salad and a glass of Moscato. My main dish was the chicken milanese, tasty and tender.Ifinished up my meal with the amazing cassata cake with cream and berries. You can also drop in to the bar area and grab a glass of wine, beer or mixed drink .

With fast and friendly service I received my glass of Moscato and the complimentary bread basket. From there is proceeded with a house salad. My entree was cheese Ravioli with a meatball. The sauce was tasty, but I expected a few more Ravioli. For dessert it was on to the casssata cake with berries and cream that was so delish. There is a nice bar area to come in and grab a cocktail .

We had a delicious dinner. It's a little dark but they provide a light on your table which has some different setting which is a nice touch if you want to switch up the ambiance. Service from our waitress was great and food was delicious. Sauce and meatball were incredible !

Nice ambience, definitely dress up for the restaurant! I ordered the short ribs, which were flavorful and tender, with sides of sautéed mushrooms and broccolini- delicious!

Braciole

Food was great braciole is top notch can't get that many places in Buffalo. Wife loves the spaghetti and meatballs (she orders that at every Italian restaurant) and stated it was one of the best. Everything had bold peppery flavors we thought.

Excellent service, food, ambiance. Great place for a romantic dinner. Spacious dining & bar area. Food was fantastic & worth the money. The chopped salad special was so good. My husband always gets chicken parm when we do Italian and he said this is the best he's ever had. Spaghetti alla Sinatra was packed with seafood- so yum! & delicious Cassata cake to go!

Moscato 10/10 Dezzani, NV, Veneto Italy This was a very good moscato, and perfectly sweet. My only complaint is that the menu price and the price we were charged on our bill for the glass did not match (we were charged $3 more than the menu price) Bread - complementary 8/10 Italian bread was good, butter was salted. The breadstick bread was very soft and chewy, it reminded me of dough that wasn't fully cooked and I was not a fan of the red sauce on it, or the red sauce that came on the side. Just had a funky flavor to me. Caesar Salad - Without anchovies 7/10 Not bad, but didn't really taste like Caesar salad to me. The lettuce was cut into long thin strips, it would be easier to eat if it was a square. The dressing was kinda just wet, and didn't taste like or even have the same consistency as a typical Caesar dressing. The Parmesan cheese came through pretty well. I liked the bread crumb instead of the traditional crouton. Sacchetti 10/10 I finally understand what saccheti pasta is, looks like little money pouches lol. The pasta was perfectly cooked. The filling had a really good mushroom flavor. The Gorgonzola cream sauce was amazing. Not so much Gorgonzola flavor, but definitely cheesy and very creamy. There was also plenty of sauce in the dish as well, which is fantastic! Loved all the mushroom pieces mixed in also. Lamb Chops 10/10 Ordered Medium rare. They were cooked very well. You could taste the seasoning (just regular salt and pepper I think) with each bite, and the meat was very tender. Probably one of the best lambs Kyle's ever had (and my first time trying lamb!) Brussel sprouts 6/10 They were not full cooked, little hard still in the center and just lightly broiled on the outer layer. Escarole 10/10 I don't have any other way to describe this than leafy, earthy, and green. Not my go to but they seem to have been cooked well. Kyle says it was good and seasoned well.

Fancy service with okay food. The food isn't bad at all but the decor and ambiance is A+ and the food is B.

Wow. Hands down some of the best pizza we've had…read more We ordered the San Felice Pizza -- San Marzano tomatoes, house-made sausage, sweet and spicy peppers, onion, buffalo mozzarella, and fresh basil -- and it was absolute perfection. The flavors don't compete... they melt together into one big, perfect masterpiece. The peppers leaned sweet (no real heat), which made them the ideal companion to the delicious sausage. And that sausage? Made in-house and seasoned beautifully, with the perfect amount of fennel -- enough to give it that classic Italian character without overpowering the pie. Perfection! The buffalo mozzarella added creamy richness, the basil kept everything bright, and the San Marzano tomatoes were clean and balanced. We love pizza in all its forms -- New York style and Napoli alike -- but there is something about the rustic goodness of true Neapolitan pizza that has a special place in my pizza-loving heart. That airy, soft center and char-kissed crust from the wood-fired oven is magic. The use of such fresh ingredients makes Forno Napoli my favorite pizza on NY so far - authentic and intentional. There is a lot of love and pride in everything from the handmade crust to all of the toppings. They also serve a garlic butter and cheese dipping sauce for the crust -- indulgent and completely unnecessary in the BEST possible way. That blistered crust dipped in that sauce? Unreal. The cheese? Yes, they have the most beautiful wheel of pecorino they hand grate from to make this happen. No green shaker bottles here! We met Felix, the owner, and he was incredibly welcoming. He has such great energy -- warm, engaging, and clearly passionate. You can tell he's the heartbeat behind the recipes and the success of the business. It feels personal. He made us want to share just how great our entire experience was and he certainly made us want to return. Our only regret? We were too full to try another pizza. Do not hesitate. This truly is a slice of heaven.

The bartenders were all friendly, but Tom was particularly helpful. Checking to mate sure that everything was good and offering suggestions. I ordered steak in au gratin potatoes. He brought me cheese bread that was phenomenal. It was served with butter and some sort of sauce that I didn't try. I got a new york strip that was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The au gratin potatoes were shredded potatoes. They were okay but definitely not what I would have expected at a steakehouse. I would not order them again. They had carrot cake available for dessert and it was delicious.

We ordered a variety of appetizers, and the meatball and Mediterranean platters remain my favorites. You must try their homemade pita--light, airy, and with just the right chew. They absolutely know how to do steak. My side of almond broccolini unexpectedly stole the show. The bright burst of lemon was the perfect complement, cutting through the richness of the mashed potatoes and filet. As for dessert? Hands down, the chocolate mousse cake. If you're getting it to go, be sure to ask for the coffee gelato before you leave--don't miss out on this perfectly smooth, rich treat. Our guests are still talking about their meals!

While we had a 5pm reservation, in hindsight it probably wasn't necessary as we were seated right away and quickly greeted by our server, Allie G. To start, I ordered the Apple Cider Mule (mocktail) which was festive and delicious while my brother went for the Logan Mule (so Buffalo). Naturally, we wanted bread (what I thought was a given in an Italian restaurant). Sadly, it was $3 for warm bread, which felt a little rude, but of course I ordered it and devoured it, too! I also started with the mushroom bisque that was on special and it was fantastic as it was rich, flavorful, and the kind of soup you want to eat slowly so it lasts longer. For my entree I chose the Crespelle while my brother got his favorite, the Brasciole. The food was truly the highlight of the evening. Everything was prepared well and very, very satisfying. I would say that the service, unfortunately, left a bit to be desired. Not terrible, but not great. I hate having to ask another server to bring a box, the check, etc. because our server was no where to be found. There is free parking somewhere, though we only noticed the sign for it after we had already paid to park. That said, the atmosphere at Tappo is always lovely and the portions were generous for the price. Of course, I'd absolutely return - especially to try one of their fun igloos someday!

I am so so picky when it comes to Italian (being married to an Italian who creates his own sauce)…read more But Tappo was wonderful. We went during resturant week and what a steal, $25 got me a casear salad, spaghetti and meatballs with a small assortment of desserts. I also grabbed truffle fries which we a special. THOSE should be a permanent thing. The meatballs were ginormous, they should (and i believe ARE) a meal themselves. My only only gripe is that you have to pay for the bread as an app. But that's just the carb lover in me. With it being restaurant week, it was busy for a Wednesday but our server was on her toes and made sure our drinks were full all the time and everything came out promptly. One thing I want to note, that I did not take advantage of is there is FREE parking as long as there's space. This was true for the day I went, not sure if that is always. But there is a small lot across the street that you can park at. I paid the $6.75 in the ramp that is basically next to the resturant.
