The kitchen isn't always open since they've been short on staff, but I'm glad it was the other week so I could get the falafel wrap. It's so good and not very expensive. I always order ahead to see if they're doing food and so it doesn't take too long when I'm stopping during my lunch break. Would recommend the wrap! Truly awful service from start to finish. The building itself is uncomfortably small and cramped--definitely not designed to welcome guests, let alone make them feel relaxed. As first-time visitors, we expected at least a hint of hospitality, but were instead met with condescending attitudes and a cold reception that bordered on outright hostility. The staff treated us like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers--despite being well-dressed and spending a considerable amount of money during our visit. Their demeanor was uninviting at best, downright snobbish at worst. The overall vibe reeked of unwarranted pretentiousness, and their lack of basic courtesy left a lasting (and unpleasant) impression. There are plenty of places that know how to treat guests with decency and professionalism--this is not one of them. Save your time and money. We won't be returning. read more

I've been wanting to try this coffee place for a long time. I stopped here yesterday after being at The Silo to get some coffee for the long drive home. I ordered a Patty Paws. It was okay. I had a HUGE snickerdoodle cookie which was fantastic!!! My boyfriend had an iced coffee which he enjoyed. The inside was very rustic and cute. Both female employees inside were super nice, especially when I mentioned that it was my first time there. I took a punch card and had the girl punch it with my order. We enjoyed our drinks outside. Didn't have the best service here. I asked the barista a question about something on their menu and she had no idea what I was talking about. I then ordered a flavored coffee and it just tasted super artificial and had none of the flavor notes it was supposed to. When my husband ordered his coffee they asked about leaving room for cream and he said no but as we walked away saw that his coffee was only like 3/4 full and ended up having a lot of coffee grounds in it. I came here with my family on February 7, 2025 at 1:50pm - blonde girl took my order. Match up her shift to the time. She was so rude and disrespectful to my family. My mom asked her "what is in the {seasonal drink} latte?" And the girl responded "it's a latte with those flavors" Just blatantly rude. My mom is 70 by the way, so how are you going to be mean to her when she's just asking what flavors are in the drink. She didn't have her glasses on and you could have just told her the flavors, instead she had to get smart with her. I was going to order, but after the attitude I received, I decided against it. My wife ordered an iced blended red velvet latte and the girl threw ice in it. When I asked if it could be blended, she said no, it's just served over ice; it tasted off, just like a normal coffee. My Chihuahua greatly disapproves of this place as well. My dog is a trained service dog and goes everywhere, and she's obviously pocket sized. She never hurt anybody and she was treated badly too. After we ordered the drinks, the girl that worked there said they don't allow dogs inside, even though we were inside the whole time ordering. If she would have said no dogs right from the start, we would have left, no questions asked, and would have avoided the unpleasant experience. read more

We absolutely love this coffee shop. We were originally lured in by the name a few years ago and we make sure to stop in when we are in Lewiston, which isn't often enough. This past week we made a point to head to Lewiston just to have coffee there as there is still indoor dining. We love being able to enjoy a good book with a good cup of coffee and Orange Cat is a very enjoyable place to do so. I tried the daily special which was a vanilla bourbon caramel latte. Reminded me slightly of an eggnog latte but in a good way as I don't care for eggnog lattes and this was tasty. My husband went with his trusted cappuccino which was also quite good. I ended up purchasing coffee beans to bring home as well, they are also available ground if you would like. Both the peppermint and the toasted marshmallow are to delicious and I'll definitely need to be going back more often just to get coffee for home. There are seats both inside and outside and parking available on the street in front and on the side street next to the shop. Great location with many other privately owned shops all around for a quick stop or a stroll down the main street to shop or people watch or both. They offer many specialty coffees with special flavors of the day for regular and decaf and all sorts or specialty hot and cold coffee drinks. first of all, I come from California where coffee shops are pretty spectacular. And one afternoon I really wanted coffee after going to Niagara Falls. At first when I saw this place I thought well it'll do. It's the only one around doesn't look very good though. But as soon as I walked in, I was met with such a warm comforting experience. The smell of so many different coffees and the warm smiles of the baristas really made me feel like I was at home. I don't have very much to write about this location, as I've only been there once and the stay wasn't long. Bottom line: cute/quaint little coffee shop in Lewiston. Everyone raves about it. So I went in with a group of the cadets after we finished a detail at the local church. Product was good. Price was good. Speed of order to hand was lightning fast. And the staff was hella friendly. Wonderful coffee shop in a beautiful 1800s historic building! The smell when you walk in just makes your mouth water. I had an iced vanilla latte, it was so good, perfectly sweet with a nice coffee flavor. My partner got a hot chai and it was one of the best chais either of us have ever had. He gets a chai at any coffee shop we go to. It was wonderfully spiced and the perfect drink! The total for two medium drinks was under $9.
