Since the Depew location closed my friend and I decided to meet at this one. It's an hour away for both of us, but we love Spot and know it's always good. There's lots of seating and parking. It's easy to get to. Love that! They had a great selection of cookies and muffins for an afternoon. They have a good menu. The food has always been presented beautifully. This will be our new yearly meet up spot. It's sad that locations are closing. The Rochester one is long gone. Excellent selection of flavors. I asked for the largest size they had.i think it's a grande at the Bucks of Star, so that's a little disappointing. I had a toasted marshmallow latte. Delicious. I had a red velvet muffin. My experience here was ok. I found the lady working was very friendly. I enjoyed my everything bagel without any spread. I think it's nice they have a lot of condiments out like assorted jams. This location is just okay for me. The staff are nice, so it's a win there. That said, I feel like most of the time when I go in there it's a little chaotic. The amount of and vibe of people make it more like a high school cafeteria, than a chill spot to do work or catch up with friends. I come when asked, but I would prefer the location not too far up the road, over this one. Parking can also be a bit tough here too. If you can find parking and are just running in and heading out, this is great and will have the food/drink you have come to expect from spot. Coffee was mediocre and staff was inviting and changed their mind, one of the workers watched the rest of the baristas bust their asses while she shot attitude at everyone else for asking what sizes they have. The flavored shots were really confusing if your not a regular or a barista yourself you will have a hard time ordering and you will be met with attitude. I am a big fan of Spot. I don't drink coffee but usually like their iced tea whenever I go. Went to grab a quick bite today after an appointment. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. It also held together well. I hate when a sandwich falls apart mid-meal. It was also super cheesy which was awesome! The Buffalo Chicken soup was good too. It had a good flavor and definitely was good on a colder day like today. The only drawback was the prices. I haven't been to Spot in quite a while so I was excited to go recently. I was shocked to find how much their prices have gone up and how small the portions have gotten. I stopped in with my daughter this past week and ordered my old usual: a roasted turkey panini on wheat focaccia and a mucho caramel macchiato in a mug. I also splurged and got avocado and bacon on the sandwich. My daughter wasn't hungry and just ordered a tall latte with almond milk. THIRTY DOLLARS. Surely the barista rang me up twice for something. Nope. The bacon and avocado were each over $2 extra. I think $2.25. That means that panini was EIGHTEEN DOLLARS. And the almond milk in my daughters latte was 5 cents shy of $1. I cannot even express my disappointment over the sandwich. It was SO much smaller than it used to be. I mean it's always been a bit of an extravagance but it was huge so I could justify it. But now it is not even close to what it was. I went in planning to save half for dinner. No such luck. I finished the second half off an hour after I left. Never again. Ever. This is one of the bigger spots so there's more room inside along with outdoor seating. This spot location is cozy and inviting. We enjoyed a cappuccino and a London fog. The tea bag for the London fog was quality loose leaf tea then tied in a large sachet, which was appreciated. Stopped in for breakfast in between appointments. Ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant with mayo and black pepper. Lucy, the cashier, informed they couldn't put black pepper on as it's out in the sitting area and not in the kitchen. I asked if I could grab it and give it to them to add to the sandwich to avoid me deconstructing the sandwich to add pepper. She went on to say it was "not something they do." I told her I really wanted to avoid taking the sandwich apart (also I really have an issue with temperature with my food so I didn't want to release heat in a warm sandwich). She then said "it's just not something we can do here and I can't allow it." The can't allow it statement threw me, because I didn't think it was that serious of an exchange or an unreasonable request, but whatever. I said ooookkk. Gave her my name, Rashika, paid, and found a seat. The sandwich had no mayo on it. Sent it back to be applied. It was good. What surprised me was my receipt. She called me RaSHITa. Wow! In all my years I never heard that one and can only attribute it to what Lucy felt was a bad exchange. So Lucy, I have nothing against you. Next time your uncomfortable with a customer don't take it personal, remain professional and respectful. That was disrespectful and ugly. And if you want say oh I just took a guess at the name, I'm not buying it. It was a clearly intentional jab as you never asked how to spell my name and had a clear attitude. Normally I'm an all day every day Starbucks gal! But I decided to change it up a couple of days ago and get my coffee/dessert mid day fix at Spot. The cinco shake sounded like exactly what I needed in that moment... white chocolate , caramel, espresso and whipped cream (heaven, am I right?) The first time getting coffee at this location took a little while, but the coffee tasted excellent. However, when I invited a friend to go there, all kinds of mishaps occurred. First off, my friend's bank card did not go through. She said she had plenty of money in her account. So, I had to pay for both of us. I didn't mind paying for hers, but it was just inconvenient. The girl taking our order seemed rather oblivious to all goings on there - a real space cadet!! The bagels we ordered were not really toasted but kinda raw inside, and the cream cheese was just a melted, gooey, sloppy mess. The coffee did not taste good either, as it was kind of bitter or maybe just STALE. It was not what I expected for the price I paid. They also CLAIM to have pizza but are ALWAYS out of dough. I've been to this location on Main St many times. It's often busy. Today there was only one table left in the section where I wanted to sit. There's a seating area right by the door when you walk in, but I don't like it there. The staff is always very friendly and kind. The coffeehouse always looks clean. Beware of the parking lot in the winter. It was very icy and slushy today and we haven't had much snow. There was no salt down. Spot has an extensive menu to pair with their coffees and teas. I usually get the cafe au lait- half coffee/half steamed milk. It's my go-to drink because I rarely drink sweeter drinks/lattes. Plus, if I get it with non fat milk it's low in calories. I'm glad Spot serves omelettes all day. Sometimes I crave breakfast for dinner. I wanted protein, but I didn't feel like meat. Came here again to meet a few friends and had just as good of an experience this time as last! This time around, in addition to their fantastic single-origin coffee, I was able to try the Mike Sandwich on an english muffin. The sandwich was fantastic! The fried eggs, provolone cheese, and cream cheese were a perfect combination. The sandwich had a nice creaminess and flavor. You can get this on a bagel as well but I tend to like the lighter, fluffier feel of an english muffin. It isn't the biggest breakfast sandwich so if you have a good appetite, I'd recommend getting a small side with it. If this were Pot Coffee then it'd be in Amsterdam, and they'd be adding hallucinogens to the hot drinks. Luckily for me, it's not. If you can spot the difference between this review and my previous review of here, you have a keener eye than I do. This is a pretty awesome place to hang out when you are in Williamsville. It's open late and they don't pressure you to buy things. Get as little or as much as you want. I don't like their coffee or any of their drinks really, although the Mocha Milkshake (or whatever it's called - Jamocha?) is pretty good... but I do think their chicken pesto Focaccia sandwich is excellent. Perhaps not as good as the location on Delaware & Chippewa, and the quality has dropped off a bit since it became a widespread chain in the region. But nevertheless it's still a really good sandwich and the place has good service and is a nice relaxing environment in which to hang out for as long as you want, in the heart of beautiful bougy Williamsville. read more

Fresh tasting coffee and good food. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is be cause they are pretty inconsistent with their foods. When I tried to order a pizza from here for the past 3 visits, they told me I cannot order pizza because they have to heat up the oven even though I did not go in during early morning times and I went in during lunch time. Also, I really enjoy their paninis however depending on who is making it, sometimes it comes out really nicely or it comes out very soggy. I know it's not a restaurant but I really feel like they should be more consistent. You can get a salad with your panini which comes with balsamic dressing. This is the Spot location closest to where I live, so I usually end up here when I'm looking to head to a coffee shop to hang out. I generally don't have anything bad to say about any of the Spot coffee locations, as far as their food and customer service goes. They have a great variety of pasteries, breakfast dishes and sandwiches - I really like their breakfast wrap and their omelettes. I'll typically order a chai latte from here, and though I'll admit I'm a devoted Starbucks girl the lattes at Spot are consistently better. Every time I've ordered something from here, they dish it out pretty quickly (I'd say the slowest was around 10 minutes, during the morning rush). This location in particular is always incredibly busy. If you're like me and you prefer a more quiet atmosphere, I'd suggest a different location. Usually every single table is taken, the parking lot is stuffed with cars, and it just makes going in there feel a bit like a hassle. Makes it tough to concentrate on weekly crosswords! I really love SPoT for breakfast. Most people may not realize they serve breakfast all day. Their granola is AMAZEBALLS. I love their huge omelets too, but I have to split with someone. It's too much for me to handle on my own. You can get egg whites instead of whole eggs, add meats, cheese & veggies for an extra cost. The coffee is good. Maybe not my favorite, but it's consistent and good. The atmosphere is nice with a cozy decor too. The staff here is also really great. They're all really friendly and upbeat, and always make me feel welcome. The only downfall to this location is it tends to get really busy & sometimes it's hard to find a table. read more

Update: Still love the iced london fog. I also got food for the first time to get some fuel in me for a study session. My friend and I ordered a chicken quesadilla with corn and beans on a whole wheat tortilla. The cashier asked us if we wanted it split up on two plates which was super nice of him. My friend and I took so long to figure out what we wanted but he was very patient and thank goodness there was no one behind us. The quesadilla was good. It was exacty what you expect a quesadilla to taste like. I also got a pistachio muffin which didn't really taste like pistachio but it was still good. We had tried to order a pizza but I think they put away pizza stuff an hour or so before closing or they stop after they run out of dough because the cashier told us that he wouldn't be able to make the pizza because the dough was frozen.
