Carmel macchiato and focaccia breakfast sandwich

Great food and service, we had a breakfast sandwich and cinnamon roll both were delicious and the coffee was amazing! We will definitely be back soon!

The cinnamon roll was huge! And delicious. Also cookies were good. Peanut butter was my favorite.

Bakery was delicious. We had the brownie tower, apple turnover and German apple strudel! Service was great, ambiance was sweet reminded me of a rustic European cottage.

It's so funny because the food options here are all or nothing. I HIGHLY suggest you get one of their cinnamon rolls... It's big enough for 4+ people to split. Actually, most of their desserts and baked goods are massive! But their breakfast and lunch options are actually much more on the healthier side! It was exactly what my husband and I was looking for to start our day. I got the California wrap and he got the Mexican wrap, both were delicious and served with a cup of blueberries and strawberries, I walked away feeling full and satisfied. Even without getting the cinnamon roll I so desperately wanted lol!

Cute cafe and bakery. Great place to get breakfast or lunch for dine in or takeout. Dessert case is full of many stunning desserts, including giant cinnamon rolls that were the size of a cake! I came here recently for lunch and ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap (which came with a bag of chips), and a mini caramel cheesecake. Everything was delicious, employees were friendly, and food came out quick.

Kaylena Marie's Bakery has quickly become one of my favorite local bakery/pastry shops in Buffalo in 2022. Each time I've gone in and looked at their menu, I saw the 'Artisan French Toast' section and my mouth would water reading it. I finally managed to try one and, oh my, I think I may have found my new favorite breakfast! I arrived around 10am on a Monday (had the day off work!) and easily found a parking spot. I walked in and saw the dining area was pretty empty with only two or three people sitting down and eating. I went right up to the counter with two of their French Toasts in mind but was still having trouble determining the one I should get. So I explained my dilemma to the woman behind the cash register and asked her for her opinion. Now, in all fairness, it's pretty difficult to go wrong with any of their French Toast options, but I was glad I went with her recommendation. I have to say this too - the staff here are always so pleasant and easy to talk to and the woman working the cash register was no exception! I placed my order and got a bottle of water (I'd had enough coffee for one morning already) and took a seat at the high table along the windows as I decided to dine-in, ensuring my order number sign was easily visible. It took about 10-12 minutes and they brought it out to me and showed me where to grab napkins and silverware. For breakfast, I ordered their Cannoli Stuffed French Toast, which is their Cinnamon Roll French Toast topped with (Kaylena's Great Great Nana's) cannoli filling, sprinkled with mini chocolate chips, and dusted with powdered sugar, served with a small side of sliced strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. One word: WOW! I'm having trouble just thinking about where to begin as I loved everything about this dish. The base Cinnamon Roll French Toast... it was baked like a cinnamon roll and then it seemed like they put in on the griddle to finish it like French Toast. The Cinnamon Roll French Toast was dense, easy to cut with a fork, and had the consistency of a cinnamon roll with a slight firm, crispness on the edges. Again, a perfect marriage between a cinnamon roll and French toast. There was cannoli filling between the layers of the cinnamon roll and a very generous amount on top with plenty of those mini chocolate chips. Their homemade cannoli filing is an awesome compliment to their Cinnamon Roll French Toast as it was plenty sweet, but not overly obnoxious. The filling within the layers of cinnamon roll was warm and extra gooey. The fruit on the side was a nice side, the proper portion size to make sure the Cannoli Stuffed French Toast was the star. I was pleasantly surprised by how big this was! Now, I had run 4.25 miles beforehand and done some weight lifting before coming so I had a good appetite coming in so I took this down, but whew, I walked out feeling happy and very full with a little bit of that "full phlegm". haha I would have no problem coming back and taking another one of these down single-handedly, but if I didn't have a workout prior, I'd most certainly need another person to help. On a price note, looking at the receipt in my email later, I thought this was incredibly reasonably priced for how generous the portions were and just the sheer quality of it all. Kaylena Marie's Bakery has turned into a top-tier bakery/pastry shop in my books, and after having the Cannoli Stuffed French Toast, they earn a top spot in my breakfast spot rankings. I'll be honest, I'm not crazy about their lunch offerings here, but their breakfast items and other baked goods are phenomenal! I look forward to my next visit, maybe then I'll finally try their signature Cinnamon Roll. :)

    California quesadilla

Kaylenas is such a cute little spot. I met a friend and we got a bunch of stuff to share. First we got the special which was the California Quesadilla. Super yummy! It came with an avocado ranch dip that was more avocado vs ranch. Would definitely order again. I got a candy candy latte which was delicious. We also ordered the carrot cake which I had high hopes for, but unfortunately seemed to be stale. We also got a few different cookies (peanut butter and m & m) which were incredibly hard. Maybe that's the style they choose to make, but I prefer a softer cookie. I'd still go back but would not order any of the baked goods we had. I'd also like to mention how incredibly sweet the staff was, especially the man who brought out the quesadilla and the girl who cashed us out.

Heard about this place from coworkers. One had bought the other a Funfetti flavored cinnamon bun which at the time I tried it...was one of the most amazing cinnamon buns I had ever had. Went on my day off a couple weeks ago to see for myself how the bakery was. Can't believe I never saw it before. It's next to one of my other favorite restaurants and also I drive on that road often. Really liked the atmosphere of the place and picked up just the regular cinnamon roll and a pastry heart this 1st time around. I am a big big eater....and I have to say, the buns are very heavy and definitely can feed 4+ people easy. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. About $9 for the reg and $15 for the flavor of the day. I must have the funfetti one again!! Might re-rate as a five star if the next few visits are just as scrumptious

I have never seen cinnamon rolls this big in my life. The picture doesn't do it justice. The strawberries and cream specialty roll was phenomenal.

    Dying to try these

This bakery Is wonderful on a small street in Orchard Park I absolutely love her fresh baked desserts and all. She does also serve a menu where you can sit down and eat. When I went a few people were in enjoying a breakfast of stuffed french toast that had a serving size to feed an entire family. The plates were huge and stacked high. They were a group of college young men who looked to have been waiting for that treat for a while. She also has several cakes, tortes, cookies and rolls. She makes birthday cakes to order as well. Give her a stop

My favorite cinnamon rolls! At $5 each, they're not cheap, but these are epic & habit forming! Order to go & your roll takes up a bakery box & the frosting is served in a plastic container on the side, so you can DIY by warming the roll & slather it with frosting. These take a few people or a few days to eat, BTW. Despite the fact that the food is amazing, my top reason for justifying an occasional splurge at Kaylena Marie's is that Kaylena herself is a young local businesswoman, and it's thrilling to see what she's created here! The owner, Kaylena is a hard working hometown heroine & is great at what she does. Any salad can be converted to a sandwich & vice versa. Honestly, I often wonder when the Food Network will pick her up for a reality show & why they haven't yet Nice variety of local customers, mostly upper-middle class (show up at breakfast, see all sorts of businesspeople & locals starting their day, after school lots of local teenagers hanging out & clearly in awe of Kaylena, sometimes you'll see an NFL player & join the the other customers in respectfully allowing for privacy & normalcy). TIPS, start with the cinnamon roll & try Kaylena's house made creamer in a hot cup of house blend coffee. There's a cinnamon roll French toast that is amazing for anyone with a REALLY sweet tooth. Also recommend the artisan turkey sammie, which is served on home baked bread, with apples, greens, unique cheese choice & a delicious spread. We were celebrating a milestone backyard birthday BBQ & went with Kaylena Marie's for the birthday cake - the staff and I went with an "80" created by strategically placed angel food cakes, cinnamon rolls & cupcakes. Needless to say, this was a crowd pleaser! The cake was hand delivered by Kaylena herself (which felt like a local celebrity sighting), enjoyed by a crowd of at least 35, and we also had leftovers! Support local business & give this a whirl! If you're headed out for a cinnamon roll & want company, message me 1st

However, liquid nitrogen canisters were nowhere to be found as all of their stuff came out of boxes. And because of that and the weather, their ice cream was put at a big disadvantage. Yet they still managed to win the rookie-of-the-year award at the competition. At least one of the workers there let me get 2 items worth 10 tickets for 9 b/c that's all I had left. I had the "Have your cake and eat it too" (aka cake batter ice cream) and a "Nitro Pop". I was intrigued when visiting the Galleria to quickly pay some bills. Located on the second floor right outside of Macy's, it's worth to stop even just to watch and to be amazed. Three employees where quickly moving around the little shop amist a gathering of people just as curious as I was. The large tanks of nitrogen were spouting the gas and the ice cream creators were quickly stirring the concoction as the ohhs and ahhs were being heard. You could either get a flavor of nitro cream and add your own toppings or there is also a list of sundae-like menu options. Flavors like vanilla, chocolate, mint, strawberry, cake batter, pitschao, and coffee were options. The saying of Go big or go home flashed in my mind. So I ended up going with Nitro Mike's Fav which was cake batter ice cream with cookie dough, peanut butter mixed it. The ice cream was very creamy and yet seemed a little less heavy than a typical Perry's offering. The price ended up being just over $6 with tax. They apparently also catering at special events like weddings and birthdays which is a pretty cool idea. The employee who made my order also mentioned that more franchises are coming. But right now they are only at the Walden Galleria mall. As much of a haven of canadiens that the Galleria has become, I feel I'll bear it to have some more of their ice cream!

Unfortunately, that really wasn't our experience. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The entire place felt tired and dirty. The carpets looked heavily worn and stained, the booths had food stuck in the crevices, and overall it just didn't feel clean or well maintained. The dishes and drinkware didn't help. The coffee mugs, which were once white, were badly stained and dingy looking. My mother actually rubbed something off hers, and the waitress explained that it "wasn't dirty, just stained." Not exactly the best first impression, especially at $55 per person for brunch. We ordered mimosas after that, hoping things would improve, but even the champagne glasses looked questionable and were filled to noticeably different levels. Then the food arrived, and unfortunately it only got worse. Everything was served "family style," but there was no menu or explanation of what was coming. The meal felt random and poorly executed. Some highlights included: * A single store-bought pastry cut into pieces * Mac and cheese that tasted like boxed Velveeta * Deep-fried breakfast sausages * Ham that resembled warmed-up lunch meat * Three shrimp total for two people * A bowl of stew meat that felt completely out of place * An Eggs Benedict attempt that simply didn't work To make matters worse, some of the silverware and plates appeared dirty as well. By the end, we honestly couldn't wait to leave. The automatic $20 holiday service charge on top of the already expensive brunch really sealed the experience for us. Sadly, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've had in quite a while.

I was so happy to see Nothing Bundt Cakes get in on the collab and offer up a limited-time Bundlet, named the "Triple Treat". You don't really need me to say it, but Nothing Bundt Cakes definitely delivered! I arrived around 2:00pm on a Saturday and pulled into a parking spot next to the entrance. There was plenty of parking in the large parking lot as there were a few other businesses and such nearby, so no concerns about getting a parking space here. I walked inside and immediately felt at ease with the nice, clean interior and large case of Bundlets, front and center. A nice, young woman emerged from the back, I believe her name was Harmony, and warmly greeted me. She was so pleasant! Her and I chatted for a moment while she rang my order up and bagged it for me. To me, she embodied the great customer service experiences I've (always) had with Nothing Bundt Cakes, so great job to her. You probably know what I ordered, the "Triple Treat" Bundlet, which is their Oreo Cookies & Cream cake, baked with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, filled with Reese's Peanut Butter Sauce, and topped with (more) Reese's Peanut Butter Cups as well as Oreo Cookie pieces. As expected, this was phenomenal! A great balance of Reese's Peanut Butter and Oreo flavors, maybe a little more peanut butter-forward, but still pretty well balanced. The extra cups and cookie pieces added nice textures and, of course, the cake itself was incredibly moist and filling. The price I paid for this Bundlet was reasonable as the quality and size were both great. I don't make it to Nothing Bundt Cakes too often and have missed some great limited-time flavors this year, regrettably, but I'm really glad I made it out for the "Triple Treat" limited-time flavor though. I'm glad the customer service and cakes are great, no matter which location I go here in Buffalo!
