When asked where I'd like to eat, I always think first about the Smokin' Little Diner. It's well worth the drive from anywhere! I especially love the Hawg Wings and the Brisket Plate. Their private label BBQ sauces are great, and my favorite is Fireberry, but really they're all phenomenal! I love the kind greetings we get as we enter this nostalgic train car diner. The cozy-vibe is through the roof here! The servers are so pleasant and helpful! They make one feel right at home!
Wow! This place was jam packed on a Sunday morning and I soon found out why. The minute that I laid eyes on this thick cut brisket sandwich I knew that it was going to be something special. One bite confirmed that. This brisket was melt in your mouth tender. They have 9 homemade bbq sauces here. I went with Kickin' Que (the spicy version of their house BBQ). It's an instant favorite! It was packed inside (and it's small) so I sat on the patio. They have some fun and interesting breakfast options so I'll definitely be back to try those and get another brisket sandwich. Ambiance is relaxed and casual.
It's a tiny place so be prepared for a wait if it's busy...but it's worth the wait. We were greeted by a frie day and attentive staff. So attentive that there were 2 groups ahead if us entering and the hostess had already put us on the waiting list for a table before we could get inside. My son and girlfriend joined me this morning for breakfast. I had the BBQ breakfast which was eggs, toast, home fries (with or without onions), pulled pork (or chicken) covered in cheese and your choice of one of their many BBQ sauces. Everyone enjoyed their meals and everything g was reasonably priced. Can't wait to try their dinner menu.
Went back because first visit was so good! This time I pre ordered for a lunch.. I called in the day before. Ordering was easy and the person was very friendly on the phone. Food was ready about five minutes after my scheduled time, which for as busy as they were, I thought that was great timing. Ordered the big sampler, with pulled chicken, pulled pork, brisket and ribs! Platter is a nice size with large portions, four of us ate on it. The pulled chicken for me was a stand out, so good! 10 piece chicken wings, cheeseburger with fries, pizza logs and crab cake platter. For our sides we tried the mac and cheese, pasta salad, baked beans, mash potatoes and sweet potatoe fries. Everything was good and would get again, except the crab cakes. These were just not good, very fishy, and burnt. The pizza logs were huge! The Mac and cheese had no seasoning, but was cheesy and after little salt and pepper wasn't to bad. Definitely on my top three favorite BBQ spots! I forgot pictures, but enjoy the video!

From my experience here, if you want to get a seat right away, you're gonna want to be there either before or right when they open. The service was friendly and efficient. It is decorated in a pig theme like a few other BBQ joints I've been to. I ordered a brisket omelette because when you can have BBQ for breakfast why would you order anything else?! Others dishes included country fried steak, pulled pork and a western omelette. My omelette was decent, but I wish I would have ordered the BBQ sauce in the side because it was overwhelming and I really couldn't taste the smokiness of the brisket; when you've got a smoked meat, ya wanna taste it! I couldn't understand why they'd want to cover it in BBQ sauce. The brisket was nice and tender and the vinegar based BBQ sauce (award-winning original) had a good flavor that wasn't too sweet, just far too much of it for my liking. Everyone else enjoyed their dishes.
Still a 5 star experience ... this time I went with a healthier option . Spinach mushroom and cheese omelette . Got the opportunity to try more of their bbq sauces . They forgot the eggs for my friend's entree , but they rectified it and brought out some immediately. I really enjoy this place and glad it is still as good as the first visit
I pass this small little joint almost every day and finally had the chance to try it. Smokin Little Diner was such a great experience! We got the daily special of BBQ chicken sliders, which came with pulled chicken, a sauce of your choice, and an onion ring in the middle of each slider. They were absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The onion ring in the middle was so good that we ended up ordering a side of onion rings, which was more than enough to share! Our waitress was so friendly and took the time to explain what each sauce tasted like since we were first-timers, and the small diner vibe made the whole experience feel cozy and welcoming. It's definitely a cute little spot, and I can't wait to go back and try more from the menu!
I love diners. I love BBQ. I absolutely love great food. This spot has all of that plus breakfast. I have heard so many great things, read so many good reviews that I had to finally try it myself. I pass by it and always kind of miss it when I am out and about, so it's about time. We went in and it feels like stepping back in time. The diner itself is decorated with all of the nostalgia vibes from diner's past. There is a selection of booths, tables, and barstools to choose from so everyone has a seat regardless of party size. The servers are all super friendly and helpful. Food came out quick and hot which is always a good thing too. The menu is pretty big for a small place so another plus there. They have breakfast, BBQ, and your usual diner food like burgers and sandwiches too. I went back and forth but landed on the pot roast stacker. Pot roast, mashed potatoes, gravy all piled on some Texas Toast. This was as delicious as the server promised. I left the table completely full and happy with the choice. The vibe of this spot, the food, and the service are all so great. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
God is absolutely terrible! Management and owner here are down really bad!! This place won't be here much longer thankyou god!!! Ordered food for 6-630 on Tuesday. Nothing was edible, not even so to feed to dogs! To start forgot my baked beans, Brisket that was tougher and drier than a boot! Microwaved Mac n chz!! Mush with bbq sauce thru called pulled pork!! Dry over cooked ribs!! Even tried their chicken wings and those sucked too!!! Called and complained within 3 bites!!! Was promised a call back and never got one so started to write bad reviews. Went back in with the food to get my money back and was refused any sort of compensation what's so ever! Yankee bbq, southern junction, shit any other bbq place is Buffalo is better than this embarrassing dump!!

When you drive by, if this place doesn't immediately spark your curiosity I'd be surprised... listen, stop and go inside! I really like this diner. It's got a vibrant rustic-can, loud but comfy feel to it. The place looks cool inside and out, you just know this greasy spoon is going to have good food and it doesn't fail to provide it either! You can order anything and leave happy (from the apple pie to the pig, beef and chicken sandwich). They have booth seating, counter seating for one (or two) and offer outdoor seating with a little picnic table, shaded area and they also accept cash/credit. On the menu, there's pig, beef and chicken items, even a fish fry. They're great for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with or without friends/family. Known for their BBQ, in a variety of flavors, it's simply finger-licking delicious! I like coming here for breakfast mostly, love me some good home fries and a juicy steak. Portions are large and filling. I've also ordered take-out and picked up my order, the staff is super friendly and there's such an upbeat vibe to the place. read more
Phenomenal food and prices! I got a double bacon burger topped with onion rings, pulled chicken, and brisket that was HUGE! I had to hunch over to take a bit so I didn't get it all over me... great flavor and very delicious. It was a crazy order for me bec I usually keep it simple but this was calling my name. My server was great. She was super attentive and made sure my cup was never out of water. (I usually drink water when dining out) The place is def little so it gets packed quick. A couple booths and a couple tables. Maybe 10 total. Parking can be very tight in front so go to the back or side. I'll be back to try other things. read more
Wow. What a great place for BBQ. Never thought this would be so good. It's a small diner car and it's decorated perfectly. The employees are awesome, friendly and heloful. There is so much to choose from. They also have lots of choices to choose besides BBQ and I bet all food is good as well. Portions are big and you won't go leaving hungry. We did not try desserts but the pie choices sounded delicious. They even have a root beer float. We have to come back next time for breakfast. read more

I love the old fashioned diners! This is another authentic diner. We got in shortly after it opened at 9:00 AM. I ordered the eggs with sausage, homefries, and sourdough toast. The food was very good. The service was also good. One unusual aspect was the food was served on metal dishes. I guess it cuts down on the breakage. I may be coming back to try their BBQ. read more

July 21/2014: I found this to be a not good meal! Very cool little diner not far from the Buffalo Airport. The decor was awesome & I enjoyed the environment. Our server was a very positive person with a seemingly great sense of humour. Here's where the wheels fell off...the food. I had the WECK Sandwich Combo. Came with the sandwich, 5 wings, chips & pickles. It was a beef sandwich with a salted bun and it was terrible to me. The beef was reheated & the bun was WAY over salted. The wings were uncoated (ai like em coated) but weren't that bad. I tried the Original BBQ Sauce that was provided but I found that terrible as well. As far as I'm concerned, this is NOT. We have driven past this little place for years and finally decided to try it. Definitely compact--friendly welcome the minute you come in the door. Quite a variety of food to choose from--no alcohol however. Hubby had what he thought was a BBQ platter, but ended up being a piece of each style of meat piled on top of one another in an unmanageable sandwich, with an onion ring on top. I had a Reuben which was just ok, definitely not the biggest sandwich I've ever had. Since they are "known" for BBQ, we expected more flavor out of the BBQ meats. How does a BBQ place not have any hint of smoke flavor? Also, be sure not to sit near the door--a strong draft comes in with each new customer. read more

An absolutely quintessential diner with amazing staff and amazing food! We went to this location multiples times when we lived in the area, and it was always a hit. We even took visiting family here and they also agreed it was great! It's small on the inside, but they pack in a variety of seating so it's easy to get a table or a bar stool. They have plenty of options on the menu and make all their own sauces and desserts. The portion sizes are huge and you definitely will NOT leave hungry. Staff is quick to seat, take orders and ensure drinks are full. They are always friendly and welcoming. Overall: A+ A must eat diner with great everything! read more
So yeah. I have to forget this place exists. Took the kids, the piggy platter is really cute. The brisket. OMG the brisket. With Mac n cheese that is in a separate universe from that Kraft cardboard stuff. And sweet potato fries. With honey butter. Of course I overate....but it was so good! And the ladies working there were completely awesome. Friendly, efficient, attentive at exactly the right times, took care of everything impeccably. Who am I kidding. I'll be back soon. :) read more

Really love this place. I havent been here enough. The BBQ options are slammin but the breakfast alone is worth the drive. I had this pulled pork omelette and cleaned the plate. Service was on point, my coffee cup was never empty, and the chipotle bbq sauce suggestion was perfect. The old school diner setup is a breath of fresh air in today's bougie restaurant scene. If you're looking for some straight forward, good american fare, look no further. read more

So we drove by this place the other day and decided to try it out. Unique old style diner converted to BBQ joint. Very cool dining area with interesting decor. Menu is crazy extensive! Sooo many options I want to go back to try. We decided on the Lg sampler to share a wider variety of items. Food was outstanding! Picked the ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. Multiple BBQ sauce flavors to choose from and they'll bring you a bottle of any one you want to try. We tried about 5 or 6 and all were delicious. The coleslaw was perfect and bacon ranch noodle salad was good. Mac and cheese was the best I have had in a while. Fountain drinks a plus too. Hate places with only cans. This may be our go to for BBQ! read more

Found another hidden gem thanks to Yelp.... Back in. Buffalo to see family and go to the fair. Needed somewhere quick and cheap and good so I asked Yelp. Nice old style diner. Good prices. My wife said the pie was awesome. I had the fish fry. Nice big piece came with macaroni salad, cole slaw and choice of potato which i got fries Not fancy servers were very nice. read more

Not a bad place, but not my favorite either. Yesterday was my second time eating here, as it's not located in an area I typically pass by. And I'd say both experiences were mediocre. I do want say that our waitress was awesome!! Very fun and personable. Customer service is always important to me. Kudos to her! The menu is also pretty big. You can have breakfast, lunch or dinner! And there are ample BBQ sauces to choose from. And you can order their sauces online too BTW! Also, they offer catering. Dan ordered the pulled pork sandwich and that comes with chips. He got the mellow madarin BBQ sauce. He said it was ok, but he'd like a different size me next time. I ordered the combo with ribs and pulled pork, macaroni salad, and I substituted the fries with mashed sweet potato. I used the original BBQ sauce which I enjoyed and would order again! I loved the pull pork!! The ribs I didn't I care for. The meat was tough. I did not finish them. The mashed sweet potato was good. Nothing special, but good. The macaroni salad was good but a little to sweet. I couldn't finish it because of how sweet it was. And just an FYI I asked while ordering if the potato salad was mayonnaise based and she said no it's mustard based. So I didn't try that because I don't like mustard based. It was freezing outside when we came in so I ordered a hot cocoa and glass of water and the hot cocoa was very good and so was the water. read more
