    Flight

I love mead so I dunno how this place has been around for five years without me finding out. It's a cute venue with several high top tables and a small bar. Some of their meads are made more like wine and served by the bottle. Others are made more like beer or cider and sold by the can. I prefer wine-like meads but tried a mix of both. You can order by the glass, but they also have a $12 flight of four generous pours. My favorite was the Bobby. It does taste a lot like bourbon as the description says. I also tried a couple berry meads, but I prefer more added sweetness. The color of the honeycomb indicates which is which - cool touch! They have a small food menu, and any cocktail can be made as a mocktail. Service is friendly.

Stopped in on a Wednesday evening to try some mead. The place is really cute and festively decorated for Christmas. My hubby and I sat at the bar so that we could talk to Ben, our bartender for the evening. Ben was very knowledgeable about the many different types of libation offered. I decided to order a Bourbon Apple Pie Sipper, a delicious warm drink. My husband had a Pumqueen Spice mead. It was tasty and served chilled. We decided to try a Bacon Arugula pizza drizzled with honey, and it was very good. Next, we tried the Cougar, a blend of beer and mead. We enjoyed that as well. All in all, we were impressed with the variety of offerings and the quality of our choices.

Great spot to stop, hang out with friends and enjoy a huge variety of meades. This place is super cute, the bee and honey theme can be seen throughout the place from the mead list to the flight labels to the tables to the bathroom. Very well thought out and designed. The staff was friendly and they had a wide selection of meades with different tastes and attributes. I enjoyed my choice, but be aware it does sit a little heavier than some alcohols. I was tempted to get the flight but was glad I didn't, not because it wasn't good but because I'm not sure I could have drank so much. They did offer food, which looked good, but we didn't have time to order any. All in all this was a cool place, I would def be interested in stopping by when in Lancaster again.

Such a great place to stop for a relaxed mead cocktail after work or on weekends and enjoy the live music when there Absolutely recommend their winter version of the Tom & Jerry. Complimentary popcorn is addictive with their secret seasoning!

I love small businesses and having the chance to talk to the creative sources behind the beverages. We tried a several meads and beers. Had a great time and such a positive experience.

Honey is their thing. A little touch of it in most of their food and beverages. We tried a flight of many different beverages and then chose bottles to take home. we also had their pretzels with delicious dipping sauces. A nice place to go for unique drinks and eats

This was the first time we were here so we jumped right in! We didn't ask questions, we read the menu and basically decided what we thought sounded good and I think we chose right! They are on the sweet side but they are brewed with honey! It is a cool little place and a band was setting up when we arrived. They even gave us popcorn to munch on while we chatted. Definitely will be back, we didn't have much time that day so stopped in for a drink next time we will stay longer and maybe try an appetizer!

Great atmosphere, friendly owners, and a large selection of tasty meads! We stopped in during the day and it was quiet but it was a good opportunity to ask lots of questions about the meads and learn something new. We each ordered a tasting which comes with 4 generous pours of meads for $10. I really like that the titles of the meads are color coded and then served on those color pieces of paper, so I can keep track of what I'm tasting. My favorite meads were the Spi Cy and and H.A.P.P.Y., but everyone's tastes are different so I recommend trying one from each board. I highly recommend checking them out and giving them a chance even if you're not sure about mead. They also sell honey products. Will definitely be coming back!

Such a fun new experience! Lots of seating and awesome variety of beverages and food. They really took the time to explain to us all the different flavor profiles the mead can take on, some taste like beer, some like wine, and some even have a whiskey/bourbon profile. I loved the sugar cookie one and the lemon lime one. I was amazed by how clever they are too, when you order a flight they match the tiles with the flavors on the board so it's easy to remember what you got. A bag of their popcorn was a great snack, they season it with a yummy season salt. You can tell this place pays a lot of attention to detail and the love behind it, every table had real flowers! Just so nice to see the pride in this place. Definitely try it out for something different!

We love coming to Lilly Belle Meads. A nice couple runs the show and their customer service is fantastic. Meads are definitely unique and especially to Buffalonians. The key is to keep trying them and you will find one you like by tasting the flights that come on color coded honeycombs. The highlight was the Spi Cy - if you enjoy craft ciders, then this is your drink. Complimentary fresh popcorn is a nice touch and there are other beverage options to choose from as well as a small appetizer menu

First time at a meadery; is that the word? It's a smallish place with a garage door that looks like it opens onto the sidewalk in nice weather. And I've never had mead because the word conjures an idea of a thick, sweet drink. Well, was I ever wrong. I had the Bee-lo and it was not thick or sweet. It was like a light ale tasting lightly of beeswax. The alcohol content is a bit more, and in some brews a lot more, than beer. The Bee-lo is a manageable 7.16% abv. And it is a straight mead made with honey, water and yeast. There are othets made with fruit or spices. There is live music Friday nights and the band playing on the night I visited was not too loud for the small room. There is is a handful of tables and seats at the bar to handle a decent crowd. All in all Lilly Belle Meads is a welcoming place. I'd stop in again on a music night if I was in the neighborhood. I only gave 4 stars because the only offering is mead. I'd like something else a little lower in alcohol, but that's just me.

I was surprised to see I haven't written a review but I always have a good experience here! For my mom's birthday, she wanted to grab a beer flight and dinner at Live Edge Brewing. We arrived on a Saturday around 4:45pm and took a parking spot close to the entrance. They have a good-size parking lot so no concerns about finding a space. We walked in and saw the "wait to be seated" sign and soon afterward, a young woman came over and asked how many in our party and where we'd like to sit. The three of us decided to sit on their back patio. We picked a table and our waitress soon followed with drink/food menus. All of the tables outside had umbrellas to help shield from the sun, which on this Saturday was out but the temperature was perfect and there was a slight breeze to cool it down a little. The one oddity we had was that our drink menus didn't match as my menu had more taps listed compared to the others I was sitting with, so I ended up getting a drink in my flight they never saw. I slight hiccup but honestly, you can't be too upset with a drink in your hand! Our waitress was young and incredibly personable, friendly, accommodating, answering all our questions about the food and customizing our orders how we wanted them. We might have let it slip that it was my mom's birthday - Our waitress brought her a birthday cake shot to celebrate, which she loved! Our waitress let us take our time sampling our beer flights before placing our food orders. The wait time for our food was very reasonable, maybe 10-15 minutes, I can't remember as we were having too good a time chatting and sipping. For dinner, I ordered their Nashville Hot Chicken Sammy, which is a hand-breaded toaster-oven-baked chicken breast topped with provolone cheese, pickles, and their Nashville hot sauce between a brioche bun and served with a side of tater tots (a small upcharge from their default chips). The sandwich was delicious! Now, for you spice lovers, I didn't find this sandwich very spicy, it was more about the flavor, the tang of the sauce. I didn't mind it not being that spicy, the flavor was excellent! The pickles were thick and had a nice crisp to them and the provolone cheese paired so well with it all. The tater tots were fried perfectly with a crispier exterior but hot, pillowy-soft interior - For the small upcharge, ~$3.00, they were worth it. The portion sizes were perfect as I was perfectly full, I wasn't uncomfortable. The price of my meal was reasonable as well, especially seeing how everything's costing more in 2026. Live Edge Brewing is not only a family favorite but for me, it's a hidden gem. The friendly, laid back, yet still attentive service and country atmosphere have us continuing to come back each New Year's Eve, and now, this could become a new birthday tradition!

Did we eat too much? Yes! Yes, we did, and it was so good, too! My husband ordered the small piggy burger, and the fries with cheese and bacon. The thick cut strips of bacon over the cheese were outstanding, and the bacon cheeseburger was excellent. The lettuce was crisp and the tomato slice was ripe. We also ordered two classic burgers and two orders of regular fries (we have a teenager at home); I loved the dill pickles in that burger! The burger was juicy and flavorful! It took about 25 minutes for the order to be ready, but we were the first customers, and everything is cooked to order. Where does the bar's name come from? The owner has two daughters: One is nicknamed, "Shalooby", and the other, "Loofer". 6/27/26 was the first day they were serving lemonade! My husband had a pilsner he adored. Lots of people around us were coming outside with flights of beer in every shade of the brewery rainbow. There's no mistaking a blueberry ale! Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the backyard: There's a courtesy water bowl for the beasties. There's a single unisex bathroom for the entire bar and patio. At peak times, there may be a line. I arrived around 6:30pm on a Wednesday, parking in the public parking lot next to the taproom. There's also street parking available but on a Wednesday, there were plenty of free spots in the public parking lot. As I walked over, I could hear live music and when I arrived, I could either walk into the taproom or walk around to the back and see the band playing. In the back, it's a large area with a good-size patio filled with tables and seats, as well as Mister Sizzle's food trailer, serving up smash burgers and fries. After scoping the back, I walked inside - I would describe it as cozy with a bar in the corner with 12 taps, all Shalooby Loofer brews, multiple tables and chairs, a few TVs behind the bar playing sports without sound, and classic rock playing on speakers throughout the taproom. It's small on the inside and when you combine a crowd with the music playing outside and over the speakers, it can be a little difficult to hold a conversation. The women working the bar were friendly, personable, and were quick to get a beer in my hand when I walked up. Looking at their draught/tap list, I was impressed with the breadth and variety of brews that Shalooby Loofer makes! I decided to go with an easy sipper, their "Presto Pilsner" pilsner. It was a pleasant, light beer! I also saw they had a list of wine and cocktails to select from and offered pop (soda) for those who weren't looking for anything alcoholic to go with their Mister Sizzle's meal. Overall, I had a good experience at Shalooby Loofer! It feels like a brewery/taproom that's been in Clarence for many years with a nice variety of beer. Their pilsner was good, refreshing. I'm in no rush to get back here, but, if I lived closer, I wouldn't have any problem coming back with friends and family from out of town.
