I reviewed the store when it opened initially. It was super impressive then. I've been back twice since to buy gifts for people, but I haven't spent much time in the store beyond that. I recently saw that they opened a coffee shop as well. After seeing a movie at the North Park, I popped in here for a quick warm drink. The space they've created is absolutely lovely. You don't have to be a motorcycle enthusiast to enjoy the coffee and various other drink options. There's a nice seating area a few tables if you want to bring your laptop, they do offer, free Wi-Fi, and some magazines and books on the table to take a look at while you sit on the couch. Happily, the music wasn't at ear splitting levels, so it was also a pleasant place, just to be able to sit quietly for a moment. I wouldn't have expected the motorcycle shop to go and open a coffee shop, but they've done it and they've done it really well. Evidently there's going to be food at some point offered as well, right now it's various warm drinks. read more

I loved the vibe of this place immediately. The staff was friendly and the menu is great. They have an awesome selection of coffee, baked goods, and bagels! The decoration and design of this place is so cool, but cozy as well. they've got some games and books you can bring to the couch. It's so cool to be able to look at the merch and vintage stuff they have for sale. Overall, 10/10 coffee shop. I love it here. read more

I wasn't a customer there but I want to leave a comment for how nice the owner is! I was just walking by and try to look for a store that has been moved and didn't show on the map, I was lost. Hesitated to go in at first because I didn't feel right to ask favor without purchase anything in the store, but I was running late so basically desperate. I came out of retirement for this one. All of a day past a major snow event, a friend of mine invited me to check out this motorcycle coffee shop he and his wife have checked out. Being the coffeeophyle that I am and the fact that "motorcycle" and "coffee" are rarely combined in to a sentence much less a shop together, I took advantage of the invite and met at Spoke & Dagger. No, not a single play on coffee vernacular in the name but that is because it was a cycle focused retail shop first and the coffee came later. The shop itself is epic. Corrugated steel, rustic bench and table, projector tv, motorcycle parts, accessories, hats, true blue hardwood floor with years of etched in grooves, spaces and character that can only reflect the essence of Buffalo. The coffee is daring. I say this because Chris and his wife settled on a light Ethiopian roast for their espresso drinks. Most people think espresso is just a deep dark roasted bean that gets concentrated in to a shot and you add flavor. Sure some places do that but Spoke & Dagger's approach to flavor vs "that''s what everyone else does," is refreshing and quite honestly, what sets them apart - outside of the motorcycle coffee shop concept. The Americano AND vanilla latte were complex and beautiful. Both drinks had perfectly pulled shots, sweet, smooth and a round finish. For anyone who does not care what that means, we will just say that they were excellent top tier coffee drinks. Many patrons came and went smiles wide while my friend and I sat there and admired the environment. The homemade syrups complimented the authenticity of the owner who just wants to be himself and hand you over something he knows tastes good and is proud of. Whether you are a motorcycle person or a coffee person, or just someone who wants to celebrate someone's gift of service, check this place out. This place rules. They are a Drag Specialties dealer and have ordered several parts for the multiple bikes I own. Bought several Biltwell helmets and a riding jacket here as well. The owners also own and actualride motorcycles.... So you're buying from people who have experience with the products that they sell. Unlike buying from a random vendor on Amazon, etc. Hands down best motorcycle parts and apparel shop around, no contest. read more

There is actually a unique subculture of people in Buffalo who love to build their own motorcycles! Do-it-yourselfers from all over come here to take part in hands-on workshops, including bike safety, repair, and how to find parts on the cheap. Spoke & Dagger also sells bigger brands of motogear, like Biltwell helmets. Instead of ordering online and hoping for the best, the friendly folks at Spoke & Dagger will find what you need and fit you in-store. Spoke & Dagger is great for riders and non riders alike! They carry everything you need for your motorcycle. From parts, helmets, bags, oil and everything in between. And if they don't have what you need in store, they can order it for you! On top of that they carry apparel for riding, Redwing boots (not just riding boots too!), their own branded products (including shirts, hats, pins, candles, soap, etc...) and anything else you might need or maybe want to give to someone. Spoke & Dagger is not just amazing for what they carry...the owners (husband and wife) also rule! They go above and beyond for anyone that walks in the door. They are super talented and have put everything they have into their store. Spoke & Dagger also puts on many events in store! They have hosted some how to classes, on winterizing your bike and rebuilding your carbs. Jodi (owner and female rider) also host international female ride day events (which is coming up May 5th!) They welcome all riders to come in, even if you aren't buying anything. Introduce yourself, hangout and get connected with fellow riders.
