Bacon egg and cheese on rosemary bagel with - A sandwich with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, and bacon on a bagel, wrapped in foil, with a coffee in a paper cup on a blue table.

One of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had! Delicious rosemary bagel with egg, cheese and bacon. Coffee was also delicious and so was the molasses cookie. Very friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Will definitely be back!!

Espresso Chocolate Chip Muffin - A muffin with a crumbly, golden-brown topping is held in a person's hand, wrapped in brown paper, with a wooden counter and floor in the background.

Such a unique spot an absolute must when you're in Buffalo! This was my first visit and I absolutely loved it. The menu is so creative with plenty of fun, unique options! Yes, even a pretzel which I thought was so fun! I tried The Aaliyah which is scrambled egg, cheddar, maple syrup, butter, and your choice of protein (I got sausage) and it was perfection. Very filling but doesn't sit heavy. I also got the espresso chocolate chip muffin which was so different and delicious. Can't wait to try more when I'm back in Buffalo!

A terrific local spot with amazing build-your-own breakfast sandwiches. The team is friendly, the food is great and there are outdoor picnic tables for seating. Highly recommended.

We've been to Breadhive a couple times now and has consistently been a good experience. My fiancé got the Aaliyah breakfast sandwich with pork sausage, which he enjoyed. I got the make your own breakfast sandwich which tasted great and is nice to have as an option if you're a more picky eater. We ordered online and it was ready much quicker than we expected (about 10 minutes on a Sunday morning). Both of the workers I interacted with were very welcoming and it was clearly well organized in there. I was quickly in and out. It is a pretty small space so we weren't able to sit down and eat which wasn't a problem for us, but that is something to consider if you're going on a Sunday morning. We will be back for sure!

I love a good cafe, and this place was beyond good! It's a small cafe, limited seating and gets very busy. They are open 8am to 2 and all their menu items are available. Little tip, they get their bread delivered at 10 a.m. The staff was so nice and they run like a well oiled machine. Because if space we ended up ordering to go. Our wait time was under ten minutes! You can also order ahead of time on line. They have some great sounding mayonnaise options. I went for the feta mayo and it was amazing on my turkey sandwhich. (The Gwen) I got my sandwich on sourdough bread which was delicious. All the veggies on it were very fresh. We tried a breakfast sandwich as well. We got it on their sriracha bagel. We got the Nina, I am not a big egg person, but I loved this sandwich. But warning it's not for the spicy challenge folks. I didn't think I was BUT this bagel was hot hot hot, again delicious BUT I couldn't eat that bagel again. They gave several dessert options so we tried a bunch of those. No complaints, and I highly recommend the apple cider and donut bread and peach sticky bun. I washed it all down with a iced Chai. Amazing experience, and I felt the price to portions were good as well! Definitely will be in my rotation moving forward.

Breadhive is so cute! We had just one morning to explore and eat so Breadhive was at the top of my list. I shared the Britney (lox bagel) on a sriracha bagel with my sister. The fillings were delicious, but the crust of the bagel was a little too hard for my preference - it was hard to bite into the bagel without having all the fillings squish out. The flavors were perfect though, and it was the best day to enjoy it outside. We also got the raspberry custard bun and that was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. The ginger molasses cookie was soft and had dark flavors, which was a good balance to the other sweet treats I'd been having. Sandwich waits are around 20 minutes on the weekend so plan that into your schedule!

Love the interior! There are always so many options. The pastries are to die for. Can't wait to come back.

Finally made it here! Ordered the Britney (see below for description) on their sourdough semolina bread: what a perfect sandwich! Even though I arrived a few minutes past their cutoff time for ordering (they were closing in less than 15"), my order was enthusiastically taken. I thought I'd eat some of it inside, and finish it elsewhere when they closed, but they assured me they had clean-up, etc. to do so I was more than welcome to not rush, and to enjoy all of my sandwich there. Genuine hospitality which is lacking so many places.

you don't understand how much i love this place. the sandwhich "the shania" is the yummiest sandwhich in the whole world. im vegetarian so its hard to find good, filling food a lot of the time but this place fillllllls me up! and the RASPBERRY APPLE JUICE ARE U KIDDING so yummy. and its so cute and cozy in there and the workers are so kind!

Great service, delicious bread and baked goods. Maddie was cheery and knowledgeable and helped me decide. The fresh baked bread doesn't come out until after 10am so make a note of that. I got a loaf of day old sourdough that was still so good. Our dog enjoyed the pup treats. The scones and sticky bun were also well received and devoured by my household. We will be visiting this place again for sure!

Just as I was about to go in the place must have caught fire. Yikes! A man was leaving the bakery with as many loaves of bread as he could carry. I investigated. Sure enough, the store was filled with firemen. I couldn't get in. It turns out the firemen were buying a lot of baked goods. Whew! And the guy carrying all the loaves of bread was a caterer. He bought 50 loaves of Luigi's delicious bread. He explained he was catering a 50th wedding anniversary, and the celebrants wanted a loaf of Luigi's bread for each of their 50 years. I'm not kidding! I bought only 4 loves of bread. They were out of my favorite - sesame seeded Italian so I had to go with plain. They have a trick with their bread. They don't use preservatives, so you have to eat it within 2 days and then go back for more. It's a trap! They were out of almond and poppy seed strudel thingys, so I settled for apple, blueberry and cherry. I tried the lemon cake and it's great. But my favorite thing was the almond cake. Absolutely dreamy. It didn't make it home because I stopped at a friend's house on the way home to share some. All I got was just one slice. And I ate that before I had a chance to take its picture.

I did try to ask a few questions about wedding tastings while I was there, but the worker helping me didn't seem very enthusiastic or willing to offer much guidance. Since this is such an important part of planning my wedding, that part of the experience felt a bit disappointing. Overall, while I was really rooting for this to be "the place" especially since it's a big and popular bakery I don't feel confident moving forward with them for my wedding desserts. Cuccidati Inc. had a booth at the event ... and they had me at the word "cuccidati". :-D LOVE these cookies! If you are unfamiliar, cuccidati are iced-and-sprinkled fig-filled Italian cookies. They're like a soft, delectable, gourmet, top-shelf, high-class, prettier Fig Newton, but way better, haha. Whenever I see an Italian cookie spread at a gathering, I always b-line for dibbs on the cuccidati. And Cuccidati Inc.'s cuccidati did not disappoint! These were a bit different from cuccidati I've had before. They weren't quite as sweet, not as thick-white of an icing as usual. And the filling seemed more natural, like more purely fig, as opposed to the more artificial extract flavor of some cuccidati. I do like the creamier cuccidati filling I'm used to, with more of a jam consistency. But these were good too, you could feel chewy bits of real fig fruit in each bite. If you prefer a cookie that isn't too rattle-your-teeth-sweet, you will probably enjoy Cuccidati Inc.'s cookies very much. We spoke with the owners when we were at the fresh-air market, and they were very sweet and friendly. They of course bake their namesake, but also bake many other cookies too. They don't have their own storefront, they sell by order, or at local venues and events. They are on the shelves at Buffalo Artisan Food Traders (https://www.yelp.com/biz/buffalo-artisan-food-traders-buffalo), so if you have a hankering for some delicious cuccidati, stop by there to grab a pack. Or check Cuccidati Inc.'s Facebook page for other upcoming local appearances - https://www.facebook.com/cuccidati.org - and mangia! :-D
