    Breakfast sandwich

Excellent breakfast sandwich. Delicious mocha Latte. Great service. Very friendly and helpful.

This was a random stop in Buffalo...but did not disappoint. I didn't know what to expect upon entering but the ambiance hinted that this was a stylish coffee, breakfast type of place and that it was. I will say the iced coffee I got was disappointing, they didn't have French vanilla for my coffee, and they had sugar in the raw....which isn't soluble in cold coffee so all the sugar sat at the bottom. Because I'm a coffee addict, that was a huge blow for me. The food was delicious tho. I enjoyed an omelette with hash browns and a toasted baguette, and my table mate had the French toast with eggs and bacon. The food came out rather quickly and it was enjoyed equally as quick. Definitely worth the drive from Niagara Falls

I am disappointed honestly , had high hopes in the morning. When I saw White chocolate strawberry, I opted for a latte with almond milk. 16 ounces $6.49. We saw the container of coffee ingredients before they made it (which was very unappealing) Having food sensitivities I should have asked what this almost "smoothie mix" consisted of. To me it did not taste like white chocolate mocha. Pretty however. The ambiance was decent Could be friendlier staff The acai my friend had the breakfast omelette which came with toast and home fries.

This place was popping on a Friday morning, and for good reason. I got the breakfast sandwich and holy crap it was good. It doesn't look like much, but the ingredients work so well together and THE BREAD. Omg. It was perfectly toasted, buttery and flavorful. I could've just eaten 8 of whatever rolls they use. The breakfast burrito was good too, but the sandwich was the star. I will say the americanos were pretty weak, but I just prefer strong coffee.

Very lively atmosphere and nice location. The food was very good with fresh ingredients and great taste. The latte didn't have the flavor I expected. It tasted more like a regular latte.

We somehow never made it to Jack's Corner Cafe before today, and it exceeded our expectations. Wide variety of food options available. I got the avocado toast from the lighter menu, and my fiancé got the French toast, bacon, and eggs. The avocado toast was probably one of the best I've had in Buffalo, came on sourdough bread with hardboiled eggs and EBTB seasoning. My fiancé's French toast was fluffy and had great flavor, the bacon crispy to a good level, not too crunchy. Our food came out quickly after ordering. There are plenty of spots to sit including several tables, high top seats by the window, and a couch. Really cute vibe in there. We will definitely make a point to come back here.

welcoming nice spot to just sit and have a coffee but also great for breakfast. The capuchino and colado are both very good and served in glass (colado) or ceramic cup capuchino. Pretty much every spot will have eggs potatoes and bacon with toast but here it's elevated. The hash browns are perfect crispy and warm. The bread is sourdough and the eggs are perfectly cooked your way. The bacon is the only thing was just ok. On another ocasión I had the breakfast burrito. Very good had tons of avocado, egg, black beans and cheese. Huge but so good you will eat it all.

Don't you dare get off the 33 expressway, and pass the intersection of Oak and Genesee St. Without stopping and checking out Jacks corner Cafe. I understand their website says they are a cozy coffee shop. But I am here to tell you, there's so much more to them than that. Jack's offers breakfast and lunch options, that are truly amazing and everything is a must try. Ooh and I can't forget to mention, the cold press juices. The Cafe has a decent amount of inside tables to dine at. But depending on the time and day, it can easily get pretty crowded. So depending on the weather, you may feel better eating on their outside patio. Breakfast sandwich- OMG.. I found a love I never knew I lost. This sandwich is definitely on the top of my list, as one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. This isn't your average egg, bacon and cheese sandwich. This sandwich is for those who enjoy eating food outside the box. It's creative and filling. The house made roll is soft and chewy, and the herb cream cheese is such a great compliment to the sandwich. This sandwich has such a great flavor profile, I can guarantee that every taste bud will be more than satisfied.

    Heaven!! Cheddar grits
    Jill K.

The cheddar grits are life changing and I couldn't give it any less than 5 stars for that reason only! But besides that, the breakfast sandwich was also good but very greasy. I suppose it would be perfect for a hangover meal! They have many breakfast options and I can't wait to try more!

I have been coming to Buffalo New York for work for multiple years now. One of my coworker recommended Jack's corner Café. I am extremely happy that he did because this spot is exactly the type of place that I look for. High-quality coffee/espresso drinks and a nice bite to eat. I am a big espresso guy and I'm a huge fan of Cortados. Not everyone can make them even tho, in my opinion, they're a simple drink. The quality of the food is above par and the prices are more than fair. The service is impeccable and the vibe of the restaurant is great. The only thing that they could improve on is maybe the beans. That is more of a specific taste because I do enjoy dark roasted beans. I will be coming here every trip that I come to Buffalo for.

I honestly expected to have to go home and add some sauce or seasoning, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much flavor it had. The seitan really surprised me with the texture and taste, and the sandwich was packed with so much flavor. It was also more filling than I expected. They make their own sourdough in-house, and it really takes the sandwich to another level. I also tried the peach basil hand pie (not pictured), which was a first for me because I'm not usually a sweets or pastry person. It was too cute to pass up, and I'm so glad I tried it. The filling-to-pastry ratio was perfect, and even someone who doesn't usually go for sweets genuinely enjoyed it. I didn't get much basil flavor, but overall it was still really good. I heard they switch up the flavors often, so if you see the peach basil one, grab it before it's gone. The staff was also really friendly this time around. Everyone was warm and welcoming, and I loved the small-town feel of the bakery. I can't wait to come back and try more. 9/10.

The place is very clean and for now, they have folding chairs, but you will absolutely overlook that when you try the food. It's a small place and I'm sincerely hoping eventually they can expand. And I'll explain why... . As the owner will proudly tell you, they have won awards for their sauce. I'm not in the least bit surprised... it is absolutely scrumptious! It's not like the sauce you find at most places. This is authentic Northern Italian sauce. The flavor is so rich, I could literally drink it from a cup! The meatballs are very flavorful, and the homemade bread... thick and hardy. . I ordered what was a breaded rice ball with a meatball in the middle. They threw in a couple extra meatballs and cut me a huge hunk of bread. My friends all ordered what was a stuffed half loaf of bread and got to choose their own fillings. First off, I was greeted and found staff friendly and efficient! You have plenty of options for seating .. dining area, front bar, back bar, even an outdoor patio bar. Although it is dive bar-esque, it was nice and clean (let's be honest .. some dives have a stench and stickiness that can definitely ruin your appetite, no matter how much you may love them). They have a set up for bands to play, as one was playing while I was there for their 2 year anniversary (congrats!). What was nice is although I could hear the band (it was playing in the back and I was up front), it wasn't over whelming me. I have eaten places where, no matter where you sit, it's extremely loud, and I appreciated that you had a choice here. Now onto the food: The food should have been doomed to fail; my tastebuds were prepared to eat sweet, buttery, syrupy French toast with a mocktail at brunch elsewhere. But wasn't hyped about the menu because of this (which is not dog and pony's fault .. I had to work and didn't have time to research where else brunch was available). I settled on the umami smashburger by a suggestion of my waitress. Now once again, could have been doomed to fail as I'm not a French fry person and my favorite cheeseburger is one I make on my own. BUT WOW their food blew me away and made me forget all about my brunch let-down. The French fries were fantastic and had a great seasoning on them! The smashburger was great to the last bite .. and I was NOT expecting to finish it as it was a really nice portion (I ate lunch now 10 hours ago and didn't need to eat again it was so filling!) but it was so dang gone good I sure finished it! Smoked cheddar .. chimichuri aioli ... kimchi bacon jam .. oh ya that bacon jam was EVERYTHING!! Thank you to the staff at Dog and Pony for making my long drive worth while!

I ordered the smash burger, my husband ordered the turkey sandwich. After we were waiting for our food for over 25 minutes, the server came over and said that he was just informed they don't have the turkey because they had an issue with that freezer. Ok, so my husband ordered the cheese steak because he was super excited for the bahn mi roll. My smash burger was alright, but the bread they use for their burgers remind me of those cheap buns you get from TOPS that just fall apart. The worst part was that they forgot the dog sauce on my burger, so I asked for the sauce, and THEY CHARGED ME FOR ASKING FOR SAUCE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO ALREADY BE ON THE BURGER I ORDERED. My husband made sure to tell me after we already left because he knew I would have fought it and our already 1.5 hour long lunch date would have been longer waiting for the refund... He ordered the cheesesteak and the sandwich was so small, and the "bahn mi bun" wasn't even toasted which is a signature for bahn mi bread. He said the flavor was fine but nothing to rave about. The worst part, for me, were the French fries that came with both of our meals. They were soooo heavily peppered that they were inedible. We asked for ketchup to try to make them tolerable, and they gave us a pre-portioned small cup of ketchup... You serve french fries with most of your menu, why isn't there ketchup on the table?!? Overall, It was a nice place to have on senrca street which used to only have the blackthorn and franchescas, but I would not eat here again.

I'd never before seen sourdough croissants or cheese danishes; there's an abundance of gorgeous loaves/boules for sale. (Cheese fondue supplies! Yes!!). A baker's rack to the right sells day-old bread at discounted prices (make your own croutons!) I opted for an almond (sourdough) croissant and a small coffee; I was asked if I wanted a mug or a to go cup? I was given a beautiful glazed mug - very charming! Two things worth mentioning: There's a small seating area downstairs, and five large tables upstairs. The stairs? A polite way of describing them is, "grandfathered-in". The rise/run makes it difficult to navigate if you're in thick boots, carrying a child, or have stiff knees. The pastry had a beautiful crunch. I enjoyed the almond flavor. And then I found: cherry preserves? I'm aware that "croissant et confiture" (eaten with jam) is a standard French breakfast, but it did change the mouth feel of the treat. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to try something earthier and beautifully executed.
