In the mood for a donut whilst walking around the pier area in Buffalo and searched for the best, closest donut spot we could find. Pleasant service from Samuel and inside was poppin' with lots of guests. Nice decor and was connected to an older hotel. Movie recommendations and WIFI code on the wall, as well as the restroom code but you will need to head through the hotel to get to it. We tried the chocolate drizzled strawberry cruller 5/5 as well as the cake donut vanilla dipped 5/5. Tip: They do offer 10% Military/Veteran/hotel guest/ tenant discount. Thanks Public Espresso + Coffee for quenching by donut craving!

I ordered via Door Dash. The service was quick. I ordered a lox sandwich on an everything bagel; very delicious -however, the sandwich was supposed to come with tomatoes and they were not present. It doesn't take much to get it right.

I didn't try the donuts but the next time I will be. The baked goods seemed to be a hit and they looked so good! I loved the coffee. It was busy but the service was quick and everyone was so kind! You definitely should try it if you're downtown.

Public Espresso is one of my favorite coffee shops in Buffalo, NY! There are two locations, one in Hotel Lafayette and another on Seneca Street. They have some of the best donuts and breakfast sandwiches. The service is consistently accommodating and they work hard to make sure everyone is served in a timely and efficient manner. Especially because it is typically quite busy! All their drinks are made fresh to order and their pastries are phenomenal! Their crullers are my favorite. The entire ambiance of the entire restaurant is very modern and sleek. Every time I go, I have always had a positive experience. Be sure to get there early to get the pastries you want! The Cinnamon Sugar and Salted Caramel Crullers are my recommendation. Happy Eating!!

We visited for a quick breakfast last weekend. Great food and drinks! My 7 year old loved the donuts

Loved the atmosphere in here. It's bright, well designed, and the bench seating along the wall was super comfy I had the Public granola which was good and came in a large portion size. Will go here more often, seems like a nice place to get work done too.

Didn't get a chance to stay but stopped in to grab a coffee and was hoping for a donut but they didn't have much of a collection left, gotta be early next time! Lol the ambience is super cute and it's quite spacious with several different seating options. Might have to come back and try a different drink also, didn't want to have to add sugar but I did. Don't forget to sign up/in to get your loyalty points!

There were a lot of people. That's a sign it is a good place. The donuts, and other goods are yummy. I really like the lavender cruller it was delicious same goes with the nutella croissant. One thing i didnt enjoy as much was the sausage egg and cheese. I didnt like the taste of the sausage. It taste very processed and machine taste. It threw off the taste for me. My friend they got other food item and i enjoy those other one as well. The matcha lattes was delicious. You can add more syrup if you wanted. It was good overall!

First time trying bagel+lox! Really good. Service was friendly and fast, as usual. I went around 1pm on a Thursday and it was busy, but still had plenty of spaces to sit comfortably and eat/work.

It's a millennial Gen atmosphere. Most clientele on computers and working out of a coffee shop...? Self order delivered to table. I am not a coffee/latte drinker so there were no normal beverages to offer other than the the coffee that add all their odd ingredients. I personally would have bolted and looked for more of of Gen x diner but we needed something fast. I ordered BEC breakfast sandwich and my friend avocado toast. Both fresh hot and delicious. Wish they had some normal water and juice choices in the fridge. I'm not ordering espresso with ten toppings... the water that they had was warm and I emptied the small tank. I would have paid $$$ for juice and water... attached to a historic hotel which is definitely worth exploring!

I can't really rate this place properly because I only ran in to pick up my 1/2 dozen Crullers, which were amazing btw !! I received: 1- peanut 1- Strawberry 1- Maple 1- Salted Caramel (a bit too salty, but still good) 1- Cinnamon & I have no idea what the last one was. It looked like poppy seeds were on it. They were all delicious. The cafe looked really nice & relaxing. I liked the atmosphere in there. I definitely wanna try it out sometime. Just sit with someone & have a coffee & something to eat. Right now, I'll stick with the 5 stars. The employee was also nice & let me know I got the last of the crullers. HAHA !! Lol

I've wished to come to Public Espresso and finally my wish came true and it was all I expected and more. I ordered ahead to make sure they didn't run out of what I wanted to try. And I wanted to try so many things so better safe then sorry! The on line process was very easy and I got a text message that my order was ready ahead of schedule as well. The staff were so efficient and friendly. When I got there I saw a few other items I wanted to take home, they were absolutely gracious and didn't make me feel in any way like I was inconveniencing them. Now I have to tell you that it was a long time before I got home and tasted my avocado toast or my sweet potato scrambled eggs and toast bowl. So the photos in no way do them justice. But I assure you they tasted delightful. They were so well seasoned. So if you're expecting bland flavorless avocado, you aren't going to get it here. The same with the sweet potato's. Every single bite was well seasoned. No mushy flavorless bites anywhere in the bowl. The eggs were perfectly scrambled and it came with hot buttered toast ..... real fresh baked bread and real butter.... Need I say more? Just let go and enjoy it's well worth it. The portions were really generous for both the bowl and the avocado toast. Crullers were airy on the inside and crispy on the outside bites of heaven. The donuts were completely satisfying. Rich and creamy moist and one would last all day!! The Bagel Jar bagels.... It's true, they are excellent. I tried to figure out what it was about them that made them so special. The best way I can explain it is, a plain bagel doesn't taste plain. It tastes yeasty yummy rich with the perfect crunch on the outside and pull on the inside. If you work downtown, you're very lucky to be close enough to stop by and grab something yummy. If not they are open on the weekend so get up and get down ,there you won't be sorry.

Cute location inside Hotel Lafayette. Pastries are delicious and the breakfasts are fantastic. Good service. The decor is unique and has an eclectic vibe. The coffee was great, and exactly what was needed after a wedding or other event in Buffalo.

The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and effortlessly cool, the kind of place that makes you want to linger for hours with a good book and a great cup of coffee. My fiancé and I each ordered one of their specialty coffees along with bagels, and everything was fantastic. After a less than stellar experience at Tim Hortons earlier in the trip, Seven Hearts completely redeemed our coffee expectations. It was exactly the aesthetic and experience I had been searching for. What really made it special was how quickly it felt like a place I could make part of my routine. If I lived in Buffalo, this would absolutely be my go to coffee shop. Before leaving, I picked up a couple of honey sticks and a bottle of their house made lavender syrup to bring home. Now I get to enjoy a little taste of Seven Hearts, and Buffalo, with my morning coffee for a few more days.

Upon entering, no one greeted me, and I felt rushed while looking over the menu. When I asked questions, it felt like I was inconveniencing the employee rather than being helped. I ordered the blueberry lemon bar matcha and hoped the drink would redeem the experience, but it was disappointing. The flavor combination didn't work well in a matcha drink, and it left a strange aftertaste/coating in my mouth. I also specifically requested no dairy (asked for oat milk) yet it still came topped with cold foam, which upset my stomach. It looked cute, but for nearly $9, it wasn't enjoyable. I had originally planned to order food as well, but the overall atmosphere and interaction felt so uncomfortable that I decided to just take my drink and leave.

The location makes sense as the residents of Williamsville are generally well-educated and worldly enough to appreciate authentic Yemeni cuisine; the same cannot be said for most of Buffalo suburbs, unfortunately, so I'm grateful the Buffalo metro now has one. Ordered the Qamaria latte, traditionally-spiced with cinnamon and cardamom. The spice notes were potent, but not at all overpowering and the beverage remained balanced. Had a chicken malawach as well; flaky and savory, and also well-spiced. It was a bit greasy which was the only regrettable thing about the experience, but not extremely and it didn't compromise the flavor or texture. The dining room itself was clean and elegantly decorated with Arabian and Gulf motifs, and the staff were friendly and helpful when my mother had questions about the menu. (I give any practicing Muslim props for working in food service while fasting during Ramadan.) All and all, grateful they're part of the community; I just hope they don't overexpand and sacrifice quality for quantity like many others.
