They were that good and on our minds after our initial visit. Both times we visited the location was busy and we had to wait in a small line. Service is very efficient and they take care of you quickly once you're at the counter. All of the donuts we ordered were perfect. One of the kids got a limited edition burger donut with proceeds being donated to the local Ronald McDonald house. It was a very inventive donut with glazed donuts as the burger buns, half a chocolate glazed as the burger patty, and different creams making up the cheese and condiments. So unique and for a good cause! Indoor seating is available which we took advantage of, as we could not wait to enjoy our donuts. I wish we lived close by as we would be regulars. I feel the donuts are fairly priced for the quality. Expect to pay more than your local Dunkin or Tim Hortons, but you can also expect the quality is way better. Fresh homemade donuts can't be beat.

Paula's Donuts helped heal me after surgery - seriously. But first, a few words about the best…read moredonuts in the United States. I feel confident that statement is true. These are not featherweight, boring, drive thru chain donuts that never fail to disappoint. The box says they are "made with love" and while I certainly hope the bakers and makers are not oozing affection for the creations as they do their job (because that would get weird right?), the recipes and standards of ultra high quality that this unique WNY establishment has sure shows a respect and appreciation for their customers. The dough is light and never greasy tasting. The cream fillings are also fluffy and airy and melt in your mouth. Jellies are all top notch and let me be clear, the donuts are packed full with whatever is inside. Or on top. The headlights are incredible. Peanut butter offerings (several to choose from) are stellar. I'm not sure if the chocolate icing is a ganache but it seems much more like a ganache than the lousy, dried out icing you might find at places we need not mention. Staff are always courteous, polite and fast. I think each donut is going for about $2.30 but well worth it for the size and quality. A box of 3 is heavy to hold. You get a lot of donut for your buck. I've been on a Paula's kick for a couple months, stopping in when appropriate for my donut desires but trying to be mindful of my waistline. I like to sit down and really enjoy every bite. These are not ordinary donuts, they are an experience to savor. But how do Paula's donuts help one recover from surgery? It's about what you might do with them. My friend picked me up and brought me home after the hospital and slyly produced a bag of donuts for me, which I sat down and ate the minute I walked in the door. The unexpected gesture of something I've been enjoying a lot lately certainly took my mind off any discomfort. Nice friend, right? Part of recovery is having supportive friends and family and I'm glad I've got that. And I'm glad I also got a bag of donuts to make a "rough day" a lot better. So, Paula's people - I haven't tried them all yet so I guess I'm going to have to return. (Image is different donuts from a different day.)

Upon walking in, the store looked like a standard "hole-in-the wall" place and had a simple selection of donuts to choose from. If you want to use a credit card, you have to spend at least $5. Donuts: I got the classic glazed donut, peanut donut, red velvet, and a cream filled donut. The glazed donut was soft and delicious. The peanut donut was more on the crumbly side but still great flavour. The red velvet had a nice cream cheese icing. The cream filled donut had a typical white cream filling. Personally, I liked the glazed donut the best - great texture and wasn't too overly sweet. The pricing here is amazing - $1.50 for great quality donuts! Easy to park on the street. There's no seating inside, so it's more of a takeout place. They also sell lottery tickets alongside donuts. It is certainly worth the visit along the way coming from Toronto.

I was unable to find a large amount of the color scheme but Famous were gracious enough to try and accommodate our needs. The pricing was extremely fair and the donuts were ready as soon as I walked in the door. These are THE FRESHEST, MOST AIRY AND DELICIOUS DONUTS EVER! I suggest that you get here by plane, train or automobile ASAP!

I remember biting into a crispy on the outside but also fluffy Apple cider donut which really hit the spot. I stopped by at Duke's Donuts today at the NT Farmer's Market. For $10, you get 13 donuts which is a steal! The Apple Cider donuts were as amazing as I remembered them to be! Hands down, one of the best Apple Cider donuts I've had. They had a nice apple flavor to it and weren't overly sweet like other ones I've had. I also had the original sugared donuts. This was my first time having one of them. I really like how fluffy they were but they tasted a little boring and didn't have much flavor to them. Overall, I'm a huge fan of Duke's Donuts. It's a nice little comforting treat to have on a cold day!

You could tell from the line that they must be decent but I didn't realize until we got up to the window that they were making the donuts fresh. Our were hot right out of the fryer. Puts a smile on everyone's face, I promise you! Paula's donuts are much larger than most places in town. So large, they look heavy. You don't even need to eat a whole one to reach your maximum sugar intake for the day but dang, they sure are deeeeelicious! I always pickup a honey glazed donut. If that was the only donut available in the world, I would be totally happy with that and never complain. It's perfection. Thick, fluffy, soft, sugary goodness. Go home, mic it for 10 secs and eat slowly with a tall glass of cold milk. Paula's has donut holes, a variety of donuts, the best Bavarian Crème donut, I've ever had in my life, they have some pastries, bagels, breakfast/lunch sandwiches (which I do very much enjoy) and coffee! They also have a HUGE donut that I've ordered for birthdays and the Super Bowl, you create it the way you want, put on a cute plate and serve (no one will miss the cake/cupcakes). This location has ample parking, a decent size seating/dining area, well lit with plenty of sunlight coming through the windows so you can sit and contemplate why you're eating so many donuts and how to lose weight. Oh, and the staff is great! They keep things moving efficiently here.
