this place sucks! results are so inconsistent. i think there's 2 chefs and one doesn't know how to cook.

Ate here this morning before heading back to Pennsylvania. Great breakfast including omelette and pancakes coffee and juices. Attendant was pleasant and attentive. Booth for four of us was spacious enough not to be crowded. Overall average I'd give 3.5 read more

When we first started planning our day trip to Buffalo, we knew we wanted to make a beeline directly for Bob Evans. And given that we were going to arrive in the morning, I assumed I'd be ordering something breakfast-adjacent. However, we were handed full menus when we sat down, so I was basically forced to order the same thing I always get at Bob Evans: the Double Cheese Pot Roast Dip ("Our signature slow-roasted pot roast, caramelized onions, melted American cheese and real provolone cheese on grilled sourdough bread served with homestyle beef gravy for dipping"). It arrived a little while later and was as incredible and delicious as ever. I just love everything about this sandwich, from the plentiful, ultra tender beef to the ooey gooey cheese to the perfectly grilled exterior. And the whole thing is enhanced by the excellent gravy that's included. The fries are great, too. It's an enormous sandwich, so I didn't think I'd order anything else, but I couldn't resist the call of the Cup of Sausage Gravy & Biscuits ("A cup of Bob Evans sausage gravy served with freshly-baked biscuits"). I regret nothing because it was exquisite. It's so heavy but just so, so good. Thank god there isn't a Bob Evans near me because I'd be dead now from ordering that dish way too often. The ambiance was as homey and inviting as I remembered, and the service was super friendly. I love Bob Evans. read more

Usually we don't have any problems here but today was just horrible. We waited 40 minutes for our food. I ordered their turkey sandwich with fries and cole slaw and no pickles. When the food finally came out, there were no fries, there were pickles on the sandwich and it was missing cheese, tomatoes, mayo and bacon. Just a couple slices of turkey and lettuce with a tiny amount of onion on bread. They then brought out a side of fries but they were cold. The manager was nice and remade the sandwich with everything that was supposed to be on it, and a fresh order of fries. Our bill was also comped at least read more

Bob Evans - Turkey sandwich made the way it was supposed to be made - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Niagara Falls, New York

We stay nearby and usually walk down to pick up our meal. In the past I've got the turkey dinner which has always been outstanding. This time I opted for the smaller turkey sandwich. It was just ok as pretty basic, I wanted a turkey club but ordered a standard sandwich. Next time I'm going back to the turkey dinner. my fault on ordering. We order via the app, super easy to use, asks every question about sides and extras. It was ready when we showed up and had everything that we ordered. Just remember to get that turkey dinner, the rolls, stuffing, gravy, everything it comes with... read more

With two of us on a senior budget we like to take advantage of places offering a senior citizen discount these days. After googling Bob Evans and seeing that they offer a 10% discount, we decided to visit the Bob Evans at 6543 Niagara Falls Blvd, Niagara Falls in the early evening hours. We were greeted at the door within a few minutes and seated. The waitress was attentive and she took our order after a few minutes and delivered our food to us within a timely manner. The food was good and we enjoyed our meals. When we were through we were given our bill and headed to the cashier. My husband asked for the senior citizen discount that is clearly advertised on Google and he was informed they do not offer one. My husband advised the cashier that it is clearly stated on Google that Bob Evans offers one along with smaller portion meals for seniors. Again, he was denied the discount. My husband paid the bill and we left, probably never to return again. We feel that Bob Evans is supposed to be "for" the American hard working family but instead we were bamboozled by their company. Why is this discount advertised on a major search forum if you aren't going to honor it?! I've attached a screenshot of our search forum your review. You may want to look into this. Or better yet, start to honor it so you don't have more disappointed customers. Thank you for your time. - A disappointed senior read more

We had come here on a Saturday afternoon at around 1:30 pm. I had settled on the honey chicken with macaroni and cheese on the side, along with the mashed potatoes and gravy. My meal also came with two biscuits, and a side of butter. This was such a large meal, that I couldn't finish everything! The food itself was delicious however, the portion sizes were much too large for one sitting. The restaurant itself was large, with ample seating, and a relaxing environment. It's a welcoming space for families and seniors as well, with large booths and colourful photographs on the wall. The service was top-notch, as our server came to check on us several times during our meal. She was attentive and friendly, along with being knowledgeable about the menu items. Overall, a great meal out! read more

I ordered the Sirloin Steak, Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. We haven't been to Bob Evans in many years. I was pretty surprised, it was very good for the price. My mom loves the Pot roast here. The main reason for my 3 stars is the greeter was extremely rude. If I wasn't with my mom I would have said something to her but she wasn't worth my time. The attitude was uncalled for. Maybe, she should be in the back doing dishes. It's not a good look. read more

We came across this place because it was the first exit near Niagara Falls. We came on a Saturday and Sunday around 11am, and it was pretty busy and packed. Many of the locals come to this place for breakfast due to the affordable prices and decent breakfast served. Ambience 4/5 inside decoration was nice, and you can tell that the business is family owned and driven. Service 3.5/5 This place was a little chaotic. But there was an organization to the chaos. Every waiter had her own section, and the waiter was also the person who brought our food from the kitchen. Which is a lot in my opinion, because every time we wanted something such as syrup, or more coffee, or anything. We would have to wait long periods of time before we would see our waiter. Also, our waiter Saturday morning messed up our order, and brought the incorrect omelet. Thankfully she fixed it even though it took another 10mins for the food to come out. Food 2/5 On Sunday, we found about three black hairs in our eggs, and omelets. It was absolutely disappointing and vile. We showed our waiter and was kind enough to ask if we wanted our order to be remade. We simply decided not to eat it or order anything else, in fear of more hair being found in our food. The French toast was delicious, light and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Just eight. For the eggs we asked for an over medium but it was over cooked and dry. The sausages were juicy and not too oily, however the hash browns were a little oily. The omelet had too much oil in it and dry. Plus they completely messed up my order twice. The hash browns with the omelet was crispy but a little burnt. Overall, the service was decent and the food didn't meet the standard of being decent due to the hairs we found in our food and our order being messed up multiple times. read more

This seems to be a popular place, conveniently located within 300 feet from our hotel. We had just arrived to town and it was breakfast time, perfect place for some comfort food. The ambiance was very country style so we tried a little of everything, the server was very nice, and we received our order quickly, the food was average kinda like any other breakfast chain would be but, fairly priced. I guess they are a popular brand here on the east coast. However they did make a nice turkey sandwich and wrapped it in saran wrap to take on our maid of the mist and cave of the winds tour of Niagara state park that was delicious. read more

I'd give zero stars if possible. The service sucks! Took about 15 minutes just to order drinks. And it wasn't busy, they were playing on their phones. The service is the absolute worse I have ever experienced. Our waitress got us drinks, came back by the table to ask if we were ready to order, we said yes. She then said let me get my notepad and disappeared begging the counter for 20 min. Don't waste your time with this horrible place. read more

Double biscuit sandwiches and standard eggs and hash breakfast. Sausage gravy was surprisingly good, the rest was standard American fast casual breakfast stuff. Top marks for friendly early morning service. That may have been the worst decaf coffee I have ever ordered but that's my fault for ordering that at a place like this. Kids loved the bendy straws which are practically contraband across the border. read more

Service was ....ok? Slow to make food, and the food was ech.. bland and tasted like old frozen thawed food. Won't go here again...

After waiting almost a half hour because there was only one waitress, my soup was cold, but I wasn't going to ask for it to be warmed because it already took so long. The waitress was excellent and had a good attitude even though she was alone. The salad was fine, but after the tremendous wait, everything should have been high quality! My opinion is Bob Evans wants to put themselves out of business. We have 2 restaurants near us, and this has happened at the other one too! Breakfast seems to be the only thing that they do well anymore. Our community is full of better breakfast places where everything is homemade. read more

+ Newly renovated! New tables and booths, as well as bathrooms. Looks fresh! - Service was slow. I like this location as it looks newly renovated. The table and booths all look new as well as the bathroom, spic and span clean. I like how they torn down the wall to the other room to open it up. I always receive great service here, and with a smile. This time it was the steak and eggs, all cooked perfectly. The prices are a little higher (for breakfast food), but with the fresh looking dining room and always great tasting meals, it's worth it. Dishes took awhile to arrive, but when they did, they were hot and tasty. You really can't go wrong eating here. read more

What a terrible nasty place. If you want burnt freezer food you found the place to go. I have heard more than seven meals at Bob Evans in the last week. I can confidently say I will never eat there again until the day I die. The overwhelming lack of quality is truly shocking out of a place that is a "restaurant" the lack of effort put in by this restaurant should be noted. I am honestly thinking if I had the option to starve to death where are you at Bob Evans again I Think I would take sweet death. I cannot stress enough how non-diverse and low polity the menu is. For the sake of your family never eat here. read more

We arrived after a short walk from our hotel to Bob Evans early Sunday afternoon in search of some decent breakfast, and some caffeine for my dreadful hangover. Upon arrival, we were greeted kindly, and given a 5-10 minute wait. Not soon after, we were escorted to our table and quickly were provided our drinks. I opted for the Homestead Breakfast with shredded hash brown, over easy eggs, sausage patties, white toast, and a bowl of sausage gravy. After a somewhat lengthy wait, and several cups of coffee later, our food arrived. I must admit the wait was worth it, as our food was overall satisfying. The eggs were cooked a perfect over easy, the sausage tasty, hash browns crisp, and the toast crunchy: your average Bob Evans breakfast. My only real compliant was having to wait relatively long periods of time to get our food, the bill, a box, and whatever else. We were on a small anniversary trip after all, and we didn't want to use an hour and a half of our limited time sitting idly at a Bob Evans table. All in all, if your staying at Americans Best Value Inn, or similar nearby, and are looking for a relatively cheap place to get some decent food, look no further than Bob Evans of south Niagara Falls NY. They'll give you everything you want at a fraction of the price others would closer to the falls. I recommend it. read more

We head down to the US a few times per year to overspend at Target. This last trip, we stopped into Bob Evans. An old favourite from my childhood. I don't go for gourmet meals. I know full well what I am in for. But I never leave upset with the flavours. On a fairly unremarkable Saturday, it seemed very busy and the wait was quite substantial. Turns out it was a travelling hockey team being an absolute menace to staff and other patrons alike. Blocking thoroughfares and leaving the place a mess. I was embarrassed for them. However, the Bob Evans staff were so incredibly gracious and patient. They did not show for 1 second that they were frustrated by the nuisance. Once we were seated, we were helped by the kindest server, Tamera. She was great in every way. My iced tea was never empty and she helped me decide between a few options. Heck, she even talked me into snagging some soup, a half dozen rolls and pie to go. I am still day dreaming about the sausage gravy, something we do not have here in Canada. Such a tragedy. Even cashing out, the man at the cash was just so kind and helpful. Couldn't have asked for anything better Bob Evans. Thank you for the service. read more

Eight tables in the entire restaurant during a lunch "rush" and it took 25 minutes to get my meal after I ordered: Eggs good, bacon and home fries overcooked. I ordered a "Big Egg Breakfast" I received a "Rise and Shine" breakfast for the 2nd time!! When meal arrive at table told the waitress it didn't look like 3 eggs. She didn't realize she put in Rise and Shine so no response. Sad they are not able to live up to their own Name. read more

I'm gonna come just say this never in my life have I've been to a restaurant an had flat paper hash browns.

Wanted Breakfast after Black Friday shopping. So disappointing. Told there would be a 10 min wait. After a half hour, the very slow manager managed to check out 12 tables and seat none. Never came over to the waiting area to even explain or apologize and by then it was chock full of people. Most ended up walking out, including us. We can understand a delay, but not pure rudeness. Never again. read more

I drive limo coach. I had a girl last night with her birthday boyfriend and family/friends on board. She contacted Bob Evans on the boulevard 2 times to make sure she was set with her 20 people reservation. When we arrived, they knew nothing about it. It not only took over an hour to get "some" of the meals but they actually gave one of the meals to someone else that wasn't in their group. I called from my limo coach and ordered a quick egg, bacon, and pancake. Over $12. Now, usually, if a driver brings that size group to a restaurant, they buy them a meal or at least a coffee. The manager was rude and was upset that I brought that up to him. He looked and acted like we woke him from the grave and walked away from me upset. Now I know why there was only 3 cars in the parking lot. The grounds were disgusting. If they were that slow, maybe they could have picked up the garbage that was littered around the restaurant. I will NEVER go to a Bob Evans again, and I'm sure that the 20 people that I was transporting won't either. Those 20 tell 20 more and onward....to bad... read more
