The Jetport is off my beaten path but, after an afternoon of cruising local produce stands, it fit nicely into the day. Parking surrounds the building that looks like it has had many additions added on over the years. There's a barroom and a couple separate areas for seating. We came through the bar and headed to the dining room where we were told to sit where we liked. The young waitress was cordial and offered drinks. We both had a Bloody Mary which was standard with no over the top garnish besides olives. Tasty. The place offers all the diner foods and breakfast options. Nothing crazy and that's fine. Nice, clean and casual. I had a hot roast beef sandwich with white bread and fries dripping in that oddly satisfying brown gravy. M had broiled haddock with coleslaw. Both were very satisfying. Note that they don't carry gluten free rolls but the waitress went out of her way to inform us that, when we were ordering, she steered us away from an item that may have been a gluten issue. Thanks for that. If I lived a little closer, I could see myself hanging at the bar and ordering their food more often. read more

Waitresses are super nice and attentive, but over the years the quality of food has declined. I ordered my all time favorite, which is the Navigator. It's a roast beef sandwich with mozzarella cheese on grilled rye bread. It came with a good amount of roast beef, but it was really grissley and the juice from the roast beef made it a little soggy. It used to be so good in the past. Fries were ok. Lemon cake for dessert was very good. read more

All last year my husband I ordered fish fries and they were amazing. We were hooked for quite a while. Then one day we decided to try something different. The food is good. My husband always gets a baked potato. He says it's hard to find baked potatoes on most menus. We've always gotten take out but one day i'd like to dine-in. Went a few years ago. Finally wanted to see what all the buzz was about. Loved all the military aircraft imagery on the walls, and in fact, while waiting for the food to be served, got up and checked out a few of the images. All beautYful images of military aircraft. I am a military retiree, so I asked the too-young waitress if they offered a military discount. She got herself into a huge huff about my question, and practically screamed WE DO NOT. All the military stuff throughout the place, and NO discount, and a baby girl getting upset at the mention of a discount for military or veterans, as if I was one too many veteran expecting a military discount. I have a military retiree card, but she didn't care. We ordered, with all others staring at us, then left. Never been back since. We pass by in the car often, and I cringe at the amount of cars parked outside. We will never recommend that place to anyone, especially if they are ex- or active military. Been here a few times now and I'm diggin it. Good diner food, good service, good prices. My husband loved the decor in the bar. It stopped him in his tracks as we were leaving. Located in Niagara falls NY this restaurant is a hidden jem I Went here with my mom and aunt she recommended they have really good food believe me you won't leave here hungry and they are reasonably priced the portion sizes are LARGE it's decor is aviation/sports themed the bathrooms are clean the staff is friendly and accommodating I got the buffalo flight it was 8 wings and a beef on weck celery, and carrots with blue cheese all for $30 and like I said, the portion sizes are large I don't recall being at any restaurant where the beef on weck sandwich was so large and loaded with roast beef the sandwich was really good definitely meets the buffalo standard, as well as the wings I got the kamikaze, which is their hottest flavor of sauce I will be definitely returning when I'm in the area again I 100% recommend read more

From the outside this place looks small, but once you enter the dining room, you realize this place has a good amount of seating. There's a cool bar on the left side of it too. Decor is old school but comfy. Our server was very quick and very friendly. She gave us a basket of 4 slices of fresh rye bread, it was very good with the butter. The menu has lots of items, including breakfast. She suggested they beef on weck or the fish fry. We went with the latter. It came out within 15 minutes. The breading on the fish was very dry and soggy. I rather have a crunchy breading, like a beer batter, but they don't offer that. The fish was thin but a long piece, it tasted okay. The fries, macaroni salad, coleslaw, and tartar sauce that came with it were made perfectly, and tasted excellent. Stopped in here with my mom after doing some shopping in the falls. This is a favorite spot of my moms so I've been here a few times with her. It's a fairly large place and has a small town diner vibe about it. Nothing on the menu really calls to me so I thought id give the wings a shot. I will say the fries are pretty darn good. The lemonade is true lemonade which I wasnt expecting. It's pretty tart. The wings were lackluster. They were OK but I probably wouldn't order again. The drums seems to not cook great and we're pretty dry. But the flats turned out much better. A single order is 8 wings which is less than most places. That didn't bother me as I usually don't finish a full order on my own anyhow. My mom got chicken fingers with no complaints. I suspect the breakfast is much better as a lot of people were ordering that mid day. I may try that menu next visit. read more

The server was very friendly and fairly attentive. The food was not the best though. I tried the fish fry (they offer this every day of the week, not just Fridays). It was just an average fish fry. I wish it would have had that great crispy golden brown skin but it didn't. They did have decent macaroni salad though. My boyfriend tried one of the steak sandwiches on the menu. It came out on this super thick hoagie roll with one small sliver or steam-um looking steak. He didn't really like it. read more

We stopped in here tonight for a quick bite. My daughter's been, but I have not. The menu is extensive, which usually makes me hesitant because how can you possibly be good at everything? I asked the waitress what she recommended. Hands down she said anything with the roast beef because they roast one every single day and it's the best. Taking her advice, I ordered beef on weck with a side of fries & gravy. I wanted mashed potatoes, but she told me they are instant. That is the reason for four stars. If you can take the time and effort to roast a beef everyday, you can make mashed potatoes from scratch. Don't let my eccentricities sway you though, the food was perfect and abundant! The beef was pink, tender, and juicy. Our bill was $37 for two with entrees and sodas. Well worth it for home cookin' and friendly service! read more

This is an interesting place. It is dark and outdated but we always have a good experience. I've only been for breakfast, I like feeling as though I am having breakfast in a country western bar from the seventies (there is always country music playing). My omelettes have always been fantastic, coffee is good too. Service is efficient and friendly. Overall we do like to stop in from time to time and are never dissapointed. read more

Bacon was paper thin, eggs were way off from over medium to the slimy whites I specifically asked not to have. My pancakes were literally stale, how is that possible? Not sure. Jet Port is on the top of our family's list for fish fry on a Friday night. Unfortunately when we went there this evening we, among a lot of other guests, were told they were out of fish. It was pretty early in the evening. I just wish we had been informed before ordering drinks because I'm sure we would have left and went somewhere else. Who runs out of fish on a Friday? We've been eating at the Jetport for the past 10 years. Food and service were always top notch. That seems to have come to an end! We usually went in for the prime rib sandwich special on Saturday or Sunday lunch. About 6 months ago we went in and the prime rib was horrid. Flavorless and tough. The waitress said they had a new meat supplier. Well we waited about 6 months and decided to give them another try. Walked in around 1130 and sat down in the bar area where we usually sat. It wasn't busy and the waitress came over, dropped a couple menus down and walked away! No asking if we wanted a drink, nothing. We sat there while our "waitress" stood behind the bar doing who knows what and she was cashing out other waitresses. After sitting for 10 minutes with no drinks and no acknowledgment that we were even there, we got up and left. Apparently this fazed no one, as we never heard a word asking why we were leaving. Been going to the JetPort for years. Really excellent food here. Very friendly, attentive staff. Decent prices and portions. Awesome french toast! Burgers, pasta, sandwiches and soups have all been great. The 'Pilot' burger/sandwich on rye is one of my favorites! When visiting Niagara Falls this week, I asked the lady at the Motel 6, where we were staying, "Who makes the best Beef on Weck?" She asked around and everyone said "The Jetport",she gave us directions and we were off! It turned out to be a very nice place with a couple of sections, a bar section and a family section. We chose the bar section. The menu was fairly large and priced reasonable. the service was fast. My wife had the baked fish with a baked potato which she said was good. I of course, had the Beef on Weck which was the best I ever had! I also had the Stuffed Pepper soup which was pretty good also. Nothing about this restaurant really stands out. It is a diner-style restaurant and bar with a very limited menu. While we enjoyed the food, it was on the same level as any other comparable place in terms of price vs quality. The reason why I am only giving it two stars is because of the experience I had there, which may or may not be the case for some people. I ordered a milkshake, which was for lack of a better word: disgusting. Imagine vanilla extract and ice chips and you will be close to the flavor and texture of the Jetport milkshake. This was followed up by wings, which were actually good, large and saucy. However, I would have enjoyed them more if I was given a plate to eat them on. The waitress apparently thought that using our hands and a combination of napkins was a good alternative to using a plate to hold the wings on. The entrees that we got were good, but not exceptional. They were given to us while we were in the middle of eating our wings however, letting the food get cold while the appetizer was finished. During this whole time, my partner had an empty beverage sitting in front of her, which remained there without a word from the waitress. Then, our desert came, which still had a piece of something attached to it. The waitress picked it off in front of us with the words "I think that is just part of the paper still stuck on that". I've been coming here for years, The food is still good, the staff were very friendly, but were unable to take breaks or use a first aid kit which really got to me. I really felt bad for the waitress that we were talking to because that can be an improvement but no one wants to speak up on.
