I went here for a quick lunch with my parents and the food was really delicious! We ordered a single order of wings which were done perfectly! They were so crispy with the perfect amount of buffalo sauce on them! They came served with carrots, celery and of course bleu cheese which was a perfect Buffalo touch! I got the Cuban sandwich which was huge! It was piled high with pulled pork and ham topped with melted cheese, mustard and some pickle chips! The service was fast and efficient for a weekday afternoon! We sat in the backroom of the restaurant over looking the golf dome and palm trees set up over the mini golf! I didn't understand the slider situation. When in life has sliders been made with regular sizes buns and condiments??? I tipped my server $10 on a $29 bill and still couldn't get a smile out of her. She did her job but literally that was it. She certainly didn't make it a great experience. She was not outwardly rude, it was the fact I had to keep asking for things because I would mention something and she would abruptly walk away. I do not appreciate nor like that. I smiled either way and I made small jokes and ask her name as she didn't provide it. She did tell me her name. Afterward Her response was that when she does give out her name that is all she hears her entire shift so she doesn't like to give out her name. Back to the food. It came out fairly quickly. The burgers were good and cooked well. They could have been juicer as they all were kind of dry but the flavors came through well. I ordered the blue cheese, the Cajun and the mushroom Swiss sliders with fries. They could have fries were definitely decent while hot. My grandson ordered the Mac and cheese which she informed us was like Kraft Mac and cheese. When it came out it was severely dry. I asked for additional cheese to be melted atop the dish. When it came back out the chef had melted cheeses throughout the pasta abs my grandson enjoyed it. I gave the restaurant and food three stars, my server zero stars. Had my server been friendly my experience would have been close to 5 stars. Although I had to cut off the excess bread from my sliders the food was not an issue. The last few times we have bern there we felt like the quality of the food had declined but never reviewed or critiqued it. Yesterday one of the specials were the pulled pork sliders and they were not even warm and were also dry. I also got a side salad for $7.99. Like the cheapest bag of iceberg lettuce was opened, thru in a couple piece's of sliced cucumber and a couple grape tomatoes and that was it. It's way too small in here. They should expand. The food is just okay. I wouldn't come here if I wasn't already coming here to use the Dome's services. Onion chips 7/1 Saves you the struggle of trying to bite a whole onion ring, or from peeling apart a blooming onion. Batter is good but some of the bites there's too much and you can't taste the onion. We ordered 20 medium wings and a brisket melt with the standard side of chips. The food was delivered about 30 mins later, it wasn't our order though, it ended up being 10 hot wings and a bbq pulled pork sandwich. On top of that we still didn't even have any drinks (we only ordered 3 waters and an IPA). We didn't even realize it wasn't our food until after taking our first bites, so it was already too late. The pulled pork sandwich was decent though. 7/10. It was a pretty good role, the bottom got soggy kinda quick, but didn't break apart. The pork was cooked well. And i think it needed a couple more drops of bbq and it would have been better. The coleslaw was weird. It started off sweet and then it kinda tastes like there was something pickled in it, just made it taste funny. I don't remember our servers name but she was a good server. I just think it was too busy for her. She was scattered and she definitely needed some help. It looked like she was the only one working, running around back and forth like crazy. Went here for my birthday. I was here once before for a banquet and figured I would try it again. The place is like a bar atmosphere with tables to eat at as well as a regular bar. The lights are low like a dive bar would have it. They have a ton of TV's and on one of them, they post the list of beers they currently have on tap. I ordered the French Onion Soup, 10 wings and fries. The soup was good, there was something different about it, but I would get it again. The cheese was crunchy in spots, just how I like it. The fries were like most places. The best thing they have on the menu is the wings. They we crispy and cooked perfectly. I ordered them hot and you could taste the heat. You could also feel the heat from just being cooked - no sitting around before they came to me. The only issue I had, is I like my wings saucy, so I could have used more sauce. Next time I will ask for some more on the side. I would definitely go back again and order the wings. They have a few different sauces as well that I may try next time. read more

That being said, there is a reason for the two star rating, the table next to us with four men who by the volume of there conversation all suffered from hearing loss, which would not have been an issue except one of them had a very limited vocabulary consisting of every sentence containing the F word. Unfortunately they were friends of the manager as he stood and talked to them at every opportunity. We were very disappointed in the food and service here. Our server was not at all friendly, never smiled once and not attentive at all. My mother in law ordered hot tea with lemon and got no lemon- not the first time and not the second time. The turkey Ruben was not grilled well and was a soggy mess. Came in last night with some friends for our weekly "wing night." It's also become my weekly French onion soup night since I feel obligated to order it where I go. MNF was on all of the TVs so there was a decent crowd, but we had no problem getting a table. Lots of bar seating as well and TONS of screens to watch on. Fries: perfect amount of crispiness. Came with no salt on them and tasted good without it. Medium wings: I LOVED the sauce. It was the perfect amount of heat while also being very buttery with a touch of seasoning! They lathered them on the wings so there was a pool of sauce underneath them. We asked for extra crispy, which they unfortunately were not. Had they been cooked longer I would've liked them more. Cajun: these wings were noticeably smaller than the double order of medium that came out but I didn't mind. Since they were smaller these ones came out a lottttt crispier than the others, so they were just how I liked them. I expected more of a dry rub Cajun but these had sauciness to them as well which I really enjoyed. I'd say these were hotter than the medium! Golden BBQ: expected them to be sweeter than they were which I was happy about! Wouldn't be my go-to but they were good. Smoked BBQ: these were the winner for me! Perfect amount of bbq sauce and having them grilled after being fried added the perfect layer of crisp for me. The smokey flavor was present without being overwhelming. I wish I had gotten more! Onion Chips: like a blooming onion served like a basket of fries. Nice appetizer to share, everyone loved the chipotle sauce came with. French Onion: Skip it. The cheese wasn't cooked enough for me. The bread inside was super soggy, onions didn't have much flavor and the broth was very watery. Stick with the wings. Our waitress was awesome and did a great job checking on all of us while having a full bar. The Grill at the Dome is one of my friends favorite places in Buffalo to get wings so I'm sure I'll be back for more smoked bbq! read more

Heard for a while now how surprisingly good the wings were here. I mean, unless you were playing putt putt golf or visiting the range, why would anyone go to a driving range for food? So after hitting some balls at the dome, I decided to pick up some wings to-go. And because I wanted the full experience I had a wing right when it came out. Instead of waiting the 20 minutes to get home. The first wing, right off the bat, was delicious. And indeed surprising. Got 10 wings medium and 10 golden bbq. Both were excellent. I'll say that being inside this place, and seeing other food come out, this place looks like they have a lot of other good American food besides wings. Everyone enjoyed the wings. A little place that makes some really great food. We stop by here every so often and never disappoints us with their service and food. Being a friday night it was a little busy but they get the food out quickly that our wait wasn't long. Our waitress took our drink order almost right away so we were able to peruse the menu for dinner. I chose the beef on weck and chips. The beef was really tender and they gave us malt vinegar so I used it on the chips. Oh that was so good. My son ordered the blue ribbon burger. They actual put dry rub on the burger. It was delectible. My husband ordered the special on the board roasted chicken. It was a half chicken. Fall off the bone deliciousness. We even chose to split a dessert. They only had one which was lemon cake. Very good. You can't go wrong weather spring, winter, summer or fall. You wouldn't want to Grill your Dome. That would be very painful. I'm not the shiny-shaved-head type anyway, but if I was, grilling my own hairless noggin would be the least appealing idea since getting Subway for lunch. I will admit, I was skeptical when people told me that the best burger in Buffalo was inside a Golf Dome. If I were an 89-year-old Golfer who could just about make it from my car to the driving range, would I have the best taste in burgers? Right. But you know, you never know, so based on stellar reviews, I gave it a try. I ordered their world famous Banana Pepper Burger, and here are my likes and dislikes. Likes: (1) It was fairly juicy, and fairly well made, and fairly tasty. Piping hot. (2) It was hearty and filling. Dislikes: (1) The patty is pre-formed, so either purchased from a grocery store pre-cut, or cut out with a burger cutter-outer. It's therefore perfectly circular. It puts me off a tiny bit because it implies grocery store although I can't tell if it is from one. It might be. (2) The banana peppers were all over it but not particularly spicy or noticeable. (3) Banana pepper stuffing was all over it but was essentially tasteless. (4) The burger was good but far from award winning standard and far from the best in Buffalo, and maybe slightly overpriced at 10-ish. All in all, if you are a burger fanatic and want to try all the good ones in town, try this one, but honestly, it wouldn't make my top 10, and there aren't that many good burgers in WNY. But it is a local business and certainly wasn't bad enough for me to give it a 3 (which is usually the lowest I'll give a family business), and it did taste good, and the person I was sharing it with said it was delicious, so you might think it's delicious too, so it scores 4. And just be grateful that it's not called Gruel At The Dome. Because who really wants to eat Gruel, am I right? If you don't eat your Gruel, you can't have any pudding. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your Gruel? And if it were the Grail At The Dome, then you'd have Harrison Ford and Sean Connery swinging around using whips and hats and it would be all kinds of interesting. And if it were Girl At The Dome, well then, I'd be way more likely to come back, wouldn't I. read more

This place is nice. I really like it. I've been here a couple of times and the ONLY thing I dislike has nothing to do with the establishment itself. It's situated directly across from baseball diamonds and good luck finding a parking space when multiple games are going on. They DO try to keep people from using their lot, but they can't be out there constantly. I came on a visit to town a summer or two ago with my relatives (we used to live in the town) and I had wings while others had fish fries and burgers. OUTSTANDING. The award winning stuffed hot pepper burger was a joke! Ordered it medium, it came out a burnt hockey puck. The dome itself has lots of fun things to do like mini golf, a virtual game experience, driving range and bar. Playing the virtual reality it is fun but not 100 percent accurate. An example when playing hockey some guys were clearly hitting the goalies pads and "scoring" while guys picking corners somehow were missing the net or getting saved. Still when with a lot of friends drinking it was a good time. On to the food, today while at an after work meeting I had a hard time as always picking my meal. There is typical bar food here, (wings, wraps, burgers, subs, limited dinners) so I wanted to order everything. I decided on the "award winning" stuffed banana pepper burger. It would be hard not to like a burger since they are almost all delicious but wow! The burger was juicy, big (1/2 lb) and amazing. It had a garlic butter spread on it that enhanced its deliciousness. I think this burger was superior to vizzis or grovers. I have already told three people about it while writing this. The side of fries (1$ up charge) were worth it. The Grill at the Dome is a good spot for bar food. Their menu is huge for being such a small place. Lots of sandwiches, soups, fried food. I like to get the fish fry here during lent, I believe it's around $14-15 and comes with two sides and is huge. You can either split it with someone or have lunch for the next day. Their beer selection is very good for a small place as well. Due to diet restrictions we subbed the fry's and sides for veggies with the broiled fish and it was a nice portion of fresh mixed veggies. Everything turned out great and the girl who took our order was so nice and accommodating. A great neighborhood hang out. I've been coming here for years and I cannot say enough good things about this place. The service is excellent, the waitresses and bartenders are always friendly and fast. The owner is very personable and always stops by to say hi to you if you're a regular. There are quite a few big tvs around, including three over the bar, so it's an excellent place to watch a bills or Sabres game. I've watched quite a few games here over the year, and I would recommend if you're coming for a Sabres game to come a little early. If you come late, it's going to be standing room only. The beer selection is always rotating and they have plenty of good options. The food is amazing too! From the wings, to the (huge) burgers, everything they make is incredible. A friend of mine recommended the fish fry at The dome so we decided to check it out. It was a busy night, almost all the tables were taken. It is self seating so we looked around and found a table. They do have plenty of seating at the bar and high top tables. The service was very prompt. Our drink orders arrived quickly and within 10 min our fish fries were there too. The fish was cooked perfectly. The crust was perfectly crispy and well seasoned. Not at all cakey and thick, just the way I prefer it. The dinner comes with coleslaw, a side and dinner roll. I chose potato salad and my friend got mashed potatoes with gravy. The cloeslaw was good. Nothing special about my potato salad, but my friends mashed potatoes were delicious and the gravy was the perfect consistency. One of the best fish fry I've had in the Buffalo area so i would definitely recommend getting one! read more
