We went in for one beer and left with a lifetime friend in Jon....3 hours later. We came here because on Packers Everywhere it said he has a great crowd of Packers fans every Sunday, while he isn't "exactly" a Packers bar he is the most welcoming person you could come across in New York and so was everyone that walked in! Come here for a beer, some beef on Weck and leave with new friends from Niagara Falls!

While staying in the area I looked at reviews for something decent and came across this place -…read moreGetting there around noon on a weekday, they were rather busy, so I sat at the bar and within a few minutes it was completely packed at the bar. Service from the bartender was great. He offered up some suggestions, which I needed because they have a large menu loaded with so many appetizing and amazing looking options. I started with their potstickers... They came out with a hard, fried shell and the dipping sauce went nicely with them. Enough to share, or even enough to enjoy and still have room for an entrée. My main dish was their Chicken & Waffle. This isn't some ordinary chicken and waffle, it's definitely an amped up version, made with unique and interesting ingredients, culminating in great flavors! The chicken was so large and very tender - it was amazing! The bacon and sauce on top went with it nicely, and the chive waffle was great with it! Each bite was definitely amazing! This was a great experience, I can see why they have so many reviews and such high stars, those are well-deserved stars!! Definitely recommend stopping in here!

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, which made it even more enjoyable. I ordered fried calamari along with single chicken wings tossed in an Asian sweet and spicy sauce--both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The combination of crispy textures and bold flavors really stood out. What made the experience even better was the service. Our server was amazing--attentive, friendly, and truly great at her job. She made us feel welcome from the start. I always enjoy trying new places, and this visit did not disappoint. If you're looking for an American restaurant near Niagara Falls, this is definitely worth trying. We ended the meal with a delicious dessert, which was the perfect sweet finish to a great experience.

Perched at the very edge of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, the floor-to-ceiling windows frame a panorama so immediate and thunderous that the mist itself seems to season every course. The cuisine, while not striving for avant-garde reinvention, demonstrates a quiet confidence -- classic Canadian fare executed with care, generous in portion, and honest in flavor. One dines here understanding that the kitchen need not compete with the spectacle beyond the glass; rather, it complements it with warmth and reliability. Yet what elevated this visit to something truly memorable was the service -- and more specifically, our server, Nitsa. A fixture of this establishment since 1984, she carries four decades of hospitality with the energy and radiance of someone who might have started last season. Her warmth is genuine, her attentiveness instinctive, and her ability to make every table feel singularly important is a rare gift. In a restaurant where nature provides the theatre, Nitsa delivers the soul. Table Rock House Restaurant makes no pretense of being anything other than what it is: a destination where the grandeur of Niagara Falls meets thoughtful cooking and gracious service. It is unabashedly touristy, and all the better for it. Some dining experiences are about culinary revelation; this one is about wonder -- and it delivers magnificently.

Stopped by Table Rock House Restaurant for dinner with high expectations based on Yelp reviews…read more The hostess was very nice and was able to seat us without a reservation. The restaurant was pretty full, but that's to be expected with the views. Parking is difficult - especially when it's cold with high wind. You're going to be walking. On to the food. The place has a limited menu. Normally this means a place is locked in on things they do well. I tried several meals that were ordered. To me, the food reminded me cruise ship cuisine. Things made in large quantity then quickly pushed out to keep the line moving. I didn't like the quality. If you want a great view of the falls, this is your place. Otherwise, my favorite item was the burrata.

Another great dining experience at Savor! Bringing the area fine dining at a reasonable price…read more We visited on a Saturday night at 5pm with a table of 3. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. The meal always starts with fresh baked bread service that is accompanied by butter, house pickles and either a hummus or garlic confit (in my experience). My mom is gluten free so she was bought her own dish with focaccia and a roll. She was over the moon about that and really enjoyed the focaccia. We all enjoyed every bit of our meal which included our choice if an appetizer, main dish and dessert from a prix fixe menu for $40. Some of our choices included charcuterie, arugula salad, tamarind shrimp curry, salmon and lemon meringue cheesecake. We left with our culinary needs satisfied and our stomachs full... we even had some leftovers. I can't wait to go back again. It's best to make reservations as they usually get fully booked. The menu changes each culinary semester as this is an instructional restaurant.

Assorted Bread: I'm not a bread person, but I enjoyed their bread. The standard roll was good, the Roll with (dill?) was good, and the one infused with brisket was also good. The dips/snacks that came with the bread were perfect complements to the bread. The pickles were confusing, but I enjoyed them on their own. Chef's salad: A good salad is underrated, and their salad was a case of basic done right. I enjoyed the blue cheese the most, since I haven't had it in a salad in a long time. It was a good mix of softer textures provided by the apple, cheese, and greens, while providing crunch via the nuts. Arayes: I'm expecting a crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside pita. I wanted a juicy and flavorful lamb, and I wanted the tahini + tzatziki sauces to be good. I got all that and was pleased. Shrimp Scampi: I was a bit disappointed by the portion size, but I had to remind myself that the lunch special was $16 and I had already gotten bread and a nice appetizer. The shrimps were big, and the flavors were light. I liked the fact that the dish wasn't oily. Some people might find it dry, but I like it. Jagerschnitzel: This was the best bite of the meal, and I regret not ordering it. The pork cutlet was very good, and the gravy helped improve the dynamics of the flavor. I've never had caraway spaetzle, but I must say that I enjoyed it, and the red cabbage didn't taste like cabbage, and it almost felt like a red spaetzle. It's a beautiful dish visually, and an even better dish when consumed. Dessert: I..... was not a fan. I thought it was too sweet. My companions liked it though. Ambiance: I felt very underdressed. The establishment definitely gave a white tablecloth environment where diners were pressured to buy a bottle of wine. I had to remind myself that it's a school, so the students needed to learn a certain standard. A standard that I could see. It might be better if there was music, but I'm not gonna complain about it. Service: Excellent. I could tell our wait staff was nervous. Who wouldn't be? I'm sure he'll do fine in the future. It would've been nice if our food arrived a bit faster, but I understood the need for pacing in these course menus.
