    Garlic Parm Chicken Wings
    Kimberley A.

Mozzarella sticks 10/10 Battered not breaded. Cooked perfectly. Cheese was melted and stringy. And we're edible right away, not too hot! Chicken Wings 8/10 The wings took close to an hour to get, which is a little crazy to me. Typically wings only take 30 minutes or less to cook. We were getting very antsy and thought they actually forgot to put the order in. Garlic parm: Perfectly crispy. Messy sauce, pretty good garlic flavor too. Lemon pepper dry rub: the rub didn't really stick to the wings very well, it was mostly all over the plate, which kinda stinks. The flavor was not bad though when you did get some. One of the bartenders recommended trying honey on a wing, because of a strange pregnancy craving she had, and I have to say it was not terrible! I tried it on the lemon pepper wing since they were lacking seasoning. I would actually order a honey flavored wing.. (here's an idea: maybe like brown sugar honey and they're char grilled!)

The best bartenders, wings and people! What a great find for us. We were in town to attend the Bills game, stopped by with little expectation. We made new friends, were made to feel welcome, were given the quickest service and were pleasantly surprised by great live music. We loved the place so much we went back again after the game on Sunday just to get some more wings and spend more time with the great crowd at Wagon Wheel. We have a new place to visit every time we are in town for a Bills game Kathy was by far our favorite and I'm sure she makes one and all feel welcome. Thanks for the great weekend.... We entered this place at nine o'clock on a Thursday night, the bar is right in front of you with a few chairs and dartboard. Walk up the few stairs and there is a pool table and more tables in the back. There was a guy playing guitar on stage and he was pretty good, although it was far too loud. We ordered a couple of beers on tap, the only light beer is Coors Light. We received a couple of menus and ordered twenty crispy wings, half hot, half mild. We also ordered frings. We had to wait over thirty minutes for the food to arrive. The onion rings were overlooked and too hard, the fries were steak cut and didn't taste that great either. The wings were really good with the perfect amount of crispness and were a good size. I think I'll try to come in here a bit earlier next time to avoid the super loud music. The wings are the clear winner.

Dive bar. Jukebox. $0.50 pool table. I wouldn't buy my wings from anywhere else in Niagara Falls.

Great traditional cornerstone of the Niagara Falls community. Personable staff, and one of the region's best for billiards.

Price wise it was a little expensive, but overall a good experience.

I read another review before coming here that basically said: if you're going to market yourself as…read morethe "Original Buffalo Wing," that comes with some pretty high expectations. And honestly, I agree with that assessment. The wings were good, solid flavor, classic presentation, cold beer, sports on the TVs. It checks all the boxes for a fun wing spot. But did they stand out enough to justify the "original" reputation? Not really. In my opinion, the wings don't beat other wing spots or even national chains in terms of quality. The biggest advantage here is probably the price. My bigger frustration, though, was with the happy hour situation. Happy hour was advertised everywhere, Google, the restaurant's website, social media, and the posts I found were recent. We specifically came during the advertised happy hour time, only to be told by both our server and the manager that this location didn't offer it. When I pointed out that we were going to head to the happy hour next door instead, suddenly they said they could give us a discount. I appreciated the attempt, but the discount still didn't actually match what we should have received based on the advertised happy hour, which left me pretty frustrated. If you're going to advertise a promotion across multiple platforms, especially recently, it should be honored, or at the very least, the online information needs to be corrected. Overall, the wings were fine and the atmosphere was what you'd expect from a wing spot, but between the food not really living up to the reputation and the frustrating happy hour experience, I left feeling pretty underwhelmed

So this place is a dive. And parking is awful. And inside is stuffy and dank…read more BUT ... If one of your favorite bands of all time plays here, DEFINITELY. GO. Because Evening Star is a tiny concert venue, so even if you are all the way in the back of general admission, you will likely be closer to the stage than typical. And tickets will likely be way more affordable than other venues, too. (Plus cheap concessions--water was a mere $2 a bottle, unlike the typical $6+ most concert places gouge you for these days.) This was recently the case for me. I was soooooo lucky to see O-Town at Evening Star ... AND IT WAS A DREAM COME TRUE!! Or, ahem ahem, a LIQUID DREAM come true!! ;-) I purchased pit pass tickets, WHICH WERE PHENOMENAL!! I was one-body-deep from the stage, and O-Town was right there--LIKE RIGHT THERE!! I had the perfect view, and SO MUCH EYE CONTACT with the guys, so many longing reaches, my heart exploded no less than a million times. After the show, O-Town had a selfie meet-and-greet option, and I definitely invested in that!! I saw them in 2001 and 2002, and have adored their music ever since. (Like adore-adored, I can belt out both the hits and the deep cuts off of their original album word-for-word, haha.) With the lights on for the meet-and-greet, you could clearly see Evening Star is indeed pretty rundown. But WHO CARES when you can be SO 'EFFIN CLOSE to your faves!! The sound quality of the concert was great, the stage was close and elevated enough where even the back of the house surely had a great view, and the party was POPPIN' with my favorite boys of Pop!! If you don't know O-Town, you are boy-band-MISSING-OUT!! (Immediately YouTube their more recent single, "Off"--damn, they still got it!!) But even if boy bands aren't your thing, whatever is musically your flavor, if they come to Evening Star, GO. You will likely be closer to them than ever before and have the time of your life with your favorite musicians. I'M STILL LOSING IT THAT I WAS SO CLOSE TO O-TOWN!! LIKE I LEGIT GOT HUGS!! FROM ALL OF THEM!! Because I WANT IT ALL!! OR NOTHING AT ALL!! (See what I did there, haha.) So get in there at Evening Star, and get all your hugs from your faves too!!

The place is a good size, it looks a lot smaller from the outside. The prices of the drinks were reasonable, and bottles of water were only 2 bucks. There was lots of room to see the opening bands and Puddle of Mudd quite close. The audio though wasn't the greatest, I've heard better. I stood by the side near the windows and nobody from the bar ever came to clean things up, with lots of beer bottles and cups piling up. The music ended around 1:30am which was far too late.
