On my first night staying at the Sheraton Fallsview, I did not really know my way around Niagara Falls yet, and it was getting late. Since the Hard Rock Cafe on Falls Avenue was conveniently located in the hotel area, I decided to stop there for dinner. I ordered the MESSI Chicken Burger because it looked really good on the menu, and I wanted to try something different. When it arrived at the table, it looked amazing. It was covered in cheese, just the way I like it, and the presentation made it look very appetizing. Unfortunately, underneath all of that cheese were two very hard, overcooked chicken patties. The fries were good, and I did eat the meal, but the burger itself was not what I expected and was definitely disappointing. I also ordered what I believe was an apple cobbler or a similar dessert, but unfortunately, that was even more disappointing. I am not a picky eater, but between the overcooked burger and the dessert, I was not happy with the food at all, especially considering how much I spent. The positive part of the experience was my server. He was very friendly and provided excellent customer service. Since it was my first night in Niagara Falls, he made suggestions about tours and things to do, and he even gave me helpful advice about where I could charge my phone around the city so I could keep taking pictures. I truly appreciated his kindness and helpfulness. Overall, the service was very good, but the food was a major disappointment. We went here tonight and had the combination chicken and beef fajitas with all the trimmings tomatoes lettuce sour cream cheese and guacamole with sautéed onions and bell peppers with a brownie with ice cream. Worst food ever, if you want frozen fish and fries at astronomical high prices this is the place, I will never go back

First of all, everything in that area is overpriced... so yes. Dinner was overpriced. With that said... we had a grueling day which involved changing hotels due to a power outage. (That means.. climbing 20 flights of stairs in the dark to pack after a long day of sightseeing ) . By the time we got checked in to our new hotel, it was probably 8pm. We were hungry, tired, and just plain defeated! Hard Rock Cafe was right there outside our hotel room. The hostess was great at communicating and paying attention to us . We were seated at Carm's table. What a blessing she was to us that night. She instantly lifted our spirits and made the evening fun. The menu had plenty to chose from. The next night was my birthday. I went here around 8:20pm on Friday for a quick dinner during my Zoom Tour I was on before meeting up with my group again at 9pm. There was no wait at that time, so they sat us at the tables outside. Visiting this restaurant wasn't part of my original plan, but I chose this since it was near my group's meet up spot and we ran out of time to do all the other solo activities we planned since we were too busy taking pictures at Niagara Falls. Anyways, this restaurant has a wide variety of American foods, ranging from burgers, pasta, nachos, sandwiches, alcohol, and many more, so that was good for us since we didn't know what we wanted to eat. We ended up ordering the smallest meals we could think of with our 30 minutes we had left for dinner that day. We ordered the All-American Sliders and the Classic Nachos and they were super quick at serving us our food! Both of the meals we ordered were a lot larger than we thought! I also liked how loaded the Classic Nachos were, but we ended up having trouble finishing the food since it was so filling! All the food was good though and I loved how loaded the nachos were! Hehe we were literally scarfing down our food with the limited time we had left before meeting up with the group again to watch the weekly fireworks show nearby. I'd recommend this place! They're quick at serving you and all the food still tasted good even though I was eating it quickly. Okay, so you are in Niagara Falls, seeing one of the natural wonders of the world. You just over paid for a crap hotel room, and are stuck out there trying to find a place to eat. Where do you go? If that's true, at this point, you are stuck and this is NOT a bad option. Ya'll didn't think it through, but it's going to be okay here. Here it is: OVERPRICED!!! Big time. 20 bucks US for a hamburger. I have to admit though, it was really good, not 20 bucks good, but more like 12 bucks good. Drinks are expensive, the business doesn't look good anymore, the memorabilia is fairly limited for a Hard Rock, and the bathroom is pretty deplorable. I noticed a lot of people sitting down, looking at the menu, and leaving. I mentioned it to our server and they said it was because of the prices. They have roughly a 10% bolt rate according to them. So, back to you, you aren't going to find anything else better at this point, so stick it out, it won't be bad, and make better plans next time so you aren't reading this review. Haven't been to HRC in 6yrs since that 1 time we went in Florida. Was really excited. We got the classic nachos although we shouldn't have cuz I remember how huge the serving is from last time. The nachos are pretty good, comes with pico de gallo, got jalapeños & sour cream on the side. The beans were on the bottom. It's pretty cheesy & crispy. It seems to be a lure to eat at a HRC when you're in that city. We tried it out and while the menu had lots of options, it's underwhelming at best. The prices are doubled on most items (surely just to bust the tourists). Once our server realized we wouldn't be ordering drinks and running the bill up, they basically disappeared. I have never eaten at Hard Rock and I didn't expect much. There was good classic pop music playing and it was not a lot of people inside. It was quite nice to warm up while eating. So I had poutine for the first time here. The cheaply made gravy from a can, powder, or however they concocted it ruined the dish. It tasted 100% processed. The Southwest chicken sandwich was not too bad. It could have used a little more zest and creaminess. My companion didn't like the beyond burger. Bland and dry. I had the Cuban sliders. I want to think that the person cooking the burger was chatting with a buddy and forgot the patty on the grill. Same for the person who cooked the pulled pork. Maybe it's the same person. There is no way this is what they think a slider should taste like. What do you guys have against flavor? My food was great I got the Boneless Chicken Wings spicy. They got that just right and the spicy level was insane it was hot. I had a wonderful meal and it was delicious. The service was long but I understood the at they were busy and I was waiting there for 20-30 minutes and it felt like it was not that long but then I checked the time. The Ambience was great and wonderful. People looked that they were having a really great time they have wonderful staff. The staff were so busy but this lady saw us after I said excuse me. After I said that I asked if we can take something to-go and she said give me one moment pls. After a minute she came back and gave us a menu and she was back in 5 minutes and we were ready. We were getting ready to head back home when I figured we should try to cram one more meal in, so we walked over to the Hard Rock Cafe just as they were opening at noon and landed a nice booth in the middle of the restaurant. After a quick perusal of the menu, I landed on the Original Legendary Burger ("Steak burger, with applewood bacon, cheddar cheese, crispy onion ring, leaf lettuce and vine-ripened tomato"), which I got with fries (of course). It arrived a short time later and was sure impressive-looking, and the Hard Rock Cafe flag sitting atop the burger was certainly a nice touch. And although I enjoyed the various components quite a bit, especially the gooey, melty cheese and irresistibly fresh and soft bun, the patty itself was something of a disappointment (to put it mildly). It had been overcooked to such a degree that it had been drained entirely of any juiciness, and I honestly can't remember the last time I had a hamburger this dry. The fries were fresh and piping hot, though, and like I said I enjoyed everything else about the burger. It's just a shame about that patty. read more

One of the worst layouts for a hard rock I've ever been too. It seems very cramped with long corridors of seating. We had a drink at the bar and ordered poutine. The bartender was friendly, but forgetful, and served us slowly. The poutine was hot with beefy gravy, but the cheese curds in it were too mushy and plain tasting. Surprisingly the best thing about this dish is their tartar sauce! Probably one of the best tartar sauce we've tried for fish and chips! Overall Food: 3.75/5 (Again a lot better than RainForest Cafe price + food) Ambience: 3.5/5- You get this old school rock n roll theme music background playing on TV...A lot of 80's/90's and occasional 2000's playlists. Server was friendly and willing to take off the 'LF' fee without issues as when you're dining in Niagara they have this made up tax. One thing I did notice about their machine is the highest tip % is option 1 then 2 and then 3..I think they know people that don't pay much attention generally pick option 1 or 2... We were able to walk right in and sit at the bar. Melissa was the bartender and she called us "Arkansas" the whole time we were there. So we called her "England", because that's where she was born. She was busy, but very friendly and gave us great service. We only had a couple of drinks, didn't eat, but saw other peoples plates and they had huge portions, can't say how it tasted though. I would say the Hard Rock Cafes are similar (don't hate me for saying this!)...it all comes down to the servers and quality of food. We sat at the bar as it was fairly crowded and there was a long wait to sit in the dining area. My friend ordered the potato skins (with extra sour cream) and the chocolate molten cake. Everything came out perfect; the bartender even remembered the extra sour cream. As with most of the Hard Rock Cafes, the decoration set the mood. The music was great as well. The location was in the middle of other restaurants and stores. It is easily noticeable from the streets. As for parking, we paid CAD $15 for parking at a nearby lot. read more
