Ambiance was nice, band was great! Our waitress was sweet everything else was super slow, probably waited an hour for food. Food was horrible. Nachos was the driest I've ever had. No flavor what's so ever, chicken was dry, chips were stale AND it was a huge portion of it smh. So disappointed because we were hungry and when you're hungry everything and anything taste good. Not here lol 1 burger, chips 1 full size Nachos 2 drinks Equals $92.00 rip off NOT WORTH IT read more

Spyce Lounge - Lounges Near Me - Niagara Falls, Ontario

On my last night in Ontario and I really didn't feel like heading out for dinner so I thought I check out this lounge which is located on the first floor at the hotel. Since it was early in the evening, I was able to grab a table right away. The server had greeted me shortly after I found a table. After reviewing the menu, I decided to have a glass of wine and the chicken meal. The wine was delivered about the time the band started to play. The band was really great to listen too. Within 10 minutes or so, the meal was delivered. There were enough fries, but lacking on chicken pieces. The pieces were on the smaller side, however, the chicken was good. Overall, I did enjoy my experience at this lounge..... just need larger pieces of chicken. Stay for great drinks and the band. read more

Spyce Lounge - Chicken Meal - Lounges Near Me - Niagara Falls, Ontario

Spyce is fine in every sense of the word and is only worth going for the convenience of it. It's located on the main floor of the Hilton, so it's super convenient if you're staying there and are too tired to go elsewhere, while paying a lot for it. The service was good. Friendly and attentive. It felt casual but professional. We were checked up on regularly but it was difficult to order over the loud music. The restaurant itself has a nice lounge feel. They have live music, which is super cool, but is really loud. It really depends what you're looking for but for a very tired family that just wants to get a quick bite before hitting the hay early it wasn't as fun. Spyce has all of the bar staples but doesn't do anything to pull them off exceptionally well. I've tried a few different items that I'll list here. Poutine- the poutine was huge, which was a pleasant surprise. The fries have a crunch to them and holds up to the gravy well. Cheese curds were plentiful and were good. The gravy, however, wasn't as good. It was a lighter gravy and tasted like canned gravy. Wings- well sauced but the wings themselves were dry. Fish and chips- nice big piece of fish but tasted like average fish and chips. Didn't taste freshly battered. Chicken fingers- super dry! My kids weren't a fan and neither was I. Overall, Spyce is fine. The food isn't offensive and if you like live music then you would definitely enjoy it. However, it's pretty pricy for what you get, so I wouldn't recommend it unless you're staying at the Hilton and don't want to leave the hotel. read more

The staffs are nice and helpful, but I guess we are getting tio old to appreciate the love music! Their menu wasn't big, big their food partial was! For tourists who simply want to have a nice quiet dinner is not a place yiurneant to go, but for people who enjoy the outdoor seating and live music, come in! read more

Live music was great. Drinks were great. Service was very slow. Had to send my sandwich back. They didn't both rushing to get it back out. Not a good experience. read more

The one start is because the eager bartender, was too gung ho to make a traditional old fashioned cocktail. Let's say that he s a disappointment to his father. It was so bad that I switched to beer. read more

Spyce Lounge - This is only two sips in. Not even a full pour on the glass - Lounges Near Me - Niagara Falls, Ontario

Soooooooo we were walking and looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon this place. I got the chickpea salad and the charcuterie board along with the peach sangria. Everything was amazing, oh my, how can I forget the raspberry cheesecake! That was probably the best cheesecake EVER! I really wish I could have given the restaurant 3.5 stars. The food was GREAT! I'd eat here again, but the service was awful. Our server was serving tables All round us but kept forgetting about us and we were right in the middle! She literally had her back to us the entire time, so we had to tap her to ask for more water, tap her when we were ready to order, tap her when we wanted dessert, she never checked on us to make sure our food was right. She didn't have an attitude or anything but she just acted like she really didn't want to serve us. read more

It was a cold afternoon apparently during off season. It was cold & snowing! The ambiance is casual, older rock music. We could have easily spent more time here. I wanted a warm drink & to rest my feet. We popped in here, I had latte with Baileys and Nachos. Yea, I tried the nachos, why? Cause usually nachos is consistent. I mean you really can't mess up nachos. Chips, salsa & peppers. Well this place gives you more than enough easily feed 2. Our waiter, was a local, and knew a lot about Niagara Falls. So we had nachos, and rested tops 20 mins in here. Mediocre. However service no matter where we went in Canada people are very friendly. read more

We ordered carry out and took our order to our room. Very healthy portions. Fish and chips were good however, they forgot to give us tarter. The nachos came with sour cream, guacamole and salsa. It was a big portion. The lounge had a nice vibe and has entertainment later in the evening. read more

Before a comedy show at the casino, my friends and I visited Spyce Lounge for a quick bite to eat and some drinks. What I loved most about our visit was that there was live music on this particular Friday night; they were fantastic! The entire vibe of the restaurant was overall very classy and I would visit again for a drink. I'm doing the keto diet right now, so there wasn't a great deal of options for me to choose from for food, so I opted for the roasted veggie appetizer and I was a little disappointed. When it came out, it looked delightful, however the veggies were so cold as if they were just pulled out of the refrigerator. I assumed they would be warm because it didn't state it on the menu that they were served cold. It wasn't the best meal that I've had, and I wouldn't go back for it. However, I would return for the aura and the friendly service from the bartenders. read more

The food was absolutely horrible. Had chicken wings that looked and tasted like they were cooked for three days and the fish and chips was greasy and the french fries were cold. I would never recommend this place for a meal. read more

Hotel lounge restaurant. The food is pretty good, prices are normal for hotel food & tourist area. Food type is pub style food: burgers, sharable plates, alcoholic drinks. But still no dessert! This is the only hotel restaurant/bar with no dessert. Even pubs here in Toronto have dessert. It's pretty common to have dessert after a meal. And some people only want dessert late at night with a nice drink. Anyway, we came as a large group of 10 & they seated us. We didn't get charged gratuity for being a large group. Other places were charging us gratuity on top of the regular food charges. Anyway, they had a live band playing that was pretty good. I think it might've been the same band we saw last year. The music was too loud though, turning down the volume a little would have been nice. Also they seated us right beside the hotel entrance, where all the smokers come out to have a smoke. I'm quite allergic to smoke so it was irritating for me. I don't like second hand smoke. Despite all that the food we had here was good. Hubby & I shared a mezza plate (flatbread with hummus) since I couldn't have dessert. LOL. Waitstaff were good. There's no washroom in the spyce lounge so you have to go outside the lounge & use the washrooms by the elevators. read more

Spyce Lounge - Poutine, and a cold Molson! Perfect... - Lounges Near Me - Niagara Falls, Ontario

I can't believe this is inside a Hilton. The drinks and food were horrible. We went here because it is one of the only non-chains in the area (as far as I know). It looks like a decent bar and had a talented live musician. I ordered an old fashioned and it was one of the worst I've had. The burger seemed to be from a frozen patty. My partner got the Mediterranean bowl, and did not really enjoy it that much either. Our service was good though- definitely want to note that. read more

Visited from out of town and we were looking for a bite to eat close by. The drinks were good, I had a pomegranate spritz to start and it was so good. Then we had poutine for our appetizer. Some of it was on the colder side and the cheese curds were not great. It would've been better with just fries and gravy. The nachos I ordered for my meal were absolutely horrible. I had like 5 chips from the entire platter and left them. They were so overdone. The platter pictured is the half size. It was huge, but too bad it was the worst nachos ever. The sour cream they served tasted old or something... it was not like USA sour cream. The Caesar salad was okay. Overall this place has poor reviews for a reason. The service was great and the atmosphere is upbeat and lively. We sat outside and that was pleasant. We would not recommend eating here. It is incredibly disappointing that it is such a bad place to eat because it is inside the Hilton. We love Hilton so how could they have such a poor restaurant attached to their name? read more

Food is overpriced cr*p. Service was ok but the place was almost empty both times I was there. Ambiance was quite good due to the live music. Overall it felt like I was in a large barn. read more

Had a couple of drinks here after a concert. Moderately busy night, we sat at the bar for a couple of drinks and a quick snack. Very hard to get eye contact with any bartender. The pricy wings came out 30min after order and by then we're almost cold and the celery sticks were the smallest ever. Carrots sticks not included and the hot sauce is extra charge. Only in Niagara ! Live music is all ways good but the overall service was very underwhelming. read more

Terrible service, terrible food! Don't waste your $$.. our food took 1 hour and came out cold.

Frank we have a problem, I walked into Spyce today for my free meal, and the server thought that I, NICHOLAS MONTENARO, was a guest or some kind of lowlife peasant and they did not recognize me! This is unacceptable and I cannot stand for this kind of behaviour! Frank, starting on Monday, all departments are going to go through an orientation to learn to identify me. In fact let's have housekeeping and maintenance go through this to, just so that way we can be sure EVERYBODY recognizes me. I figure we can use my oil paintings of me that are in my entryway. I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed that there are people who don't even recognize me! - Nick oh crap this isn't outlook read more

The ambiance was nice and the band ok. The service was pretty slow exactly on the food coming out. But now I have to tell you about the food. It was Terrible with a very large "T"! My wife had the burger and it didn't have much flavor and was dry. Her potato chips had the most flavor out of the whole meal. I had the nachos and you could tell it was sitting out for a long time and the chips were very stale. I added chicken to it, which I believe it was an additional $8 and it was some of the driest zero flavor chicken I've ever had. I mean, you could have at least put a little bit of salt or something on it. My wife and I spent all day flying up from Orlando and driving from Buffalo so we were kind of tired and hungry and yet this food was still terrible. We even walked down to the Falls first before taking an Uber back up the hill to have dinner. If you wanna come here for drinks and listen to the band, I'm with you but whatever you do don't order food. It with all that being said our terrible meal came up just over $91, a complete rip off and I actually left the table pissed off. read more

They Charge a "city tax" here even when you ask for it to be removed from the bill. You should look for someplace else for drinks

Very good cocktails and the waitresses were super nice. Also the atmosphere is very good.

I would rate Spyce two and a half stars. Great atmosphere and music but unimpressive food and drinks. I enjoyed the atmosphere here on a Saturday night. There was a band playing some classic genres. The venue is spacious with plenty of seating. Most people were wearing cocktail attire. The service was attentive. The beer selection was limited to macros. Most of the drafts were either American or European adjunct lagers. The bottled selection was quite limited as well. The food was underwhelming. We opted for the antipasto platter which was a small charcuterie board. I would not recommend it. I felt like the quality of the items was comparable to what you'd find in the refrigerated and jarred sections of a discount grocery store. read more

Normally this is our go to place, would recommend to everyone Last night was a different story HORRIBLE service, server was extremely rude (eye rolls and sarcastic tone), did not get asked or acknowledged us after we did our first order. Was rude towards splitting a check (there was only 4 people), Over all experience was bad and may not return again Love the drinks and music, but service ruined it read more

This was the absolute worst service. The waiters look discombobulated and did not give us water, cutely or napkins. We waited over an hour to receive water and one appetizer, and never got our mains. It got to the point where we had to cancel our order. Please save yourself the time patience and money. This is the worst restaurant in Niagara. I'd give it a 0 star if I could. read more

Came here for a bachelorette party on a Friday Night. There was another bachelor party going on so the place was pretty busy, but we managed to find a empty high table. However, there was not enough chairs so some of us had to stand. The waiter was extremely helpful and moved the chairs for us right when he spotted that they were available There was live music (the lady who was singing was really good!) and we loved the drinks too (got some cocktails and shots) The tater tots ($10) was one of the highlight of our night and we are still talking about how good these tater tots are whenever we mention the party! The gravy were super hot when it came and the tater tots were crunchy and seasoned well (not too salty) At the end we asked for hot water as the bride-to-be drank a little bit too much. We were totally surprised that they gave us the water in paper coffee cups with the SLEEVES on. Extra points for being so considerate FYI, Washroom is outside at the lobby and you have to get up a few stairs. Although security guard is around the corner I still recommend girls to find a washroom buddy just for personal safety :) read more

This lovely little place saved our buts while visiting from the states. When your tired after a day of walking all over Niagara Falls sometime you just want an easy to access restaurant with a drink. Space was perfect. The first night we stopped in for a few drinks. The second we tried some food. The highlight was some fresh poutine! This was my first experience with poutine and I was not disappointed! Who knew gravy, fries and cheese would be so good! The vibe of Spyce is wonderful. They opened the side windows so you could watch the hustle and bustle of the life outside. Great people watching. The staff was also super friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. They also have live music which it something great to get engaged with. The singer of our night was really impressive. He was a joy to watch. Made the night that much more special. read more

Short version: just avoid this place Longer Version: myself and two coworkers went here for dinner and it was a mistake. The cocktails weren't good, the food came as if it were meant to be served on an airplane and not even business class level of crap. It was a step above a bag of peanuts or pretzels. Everything looked like it was dumped out of a plastic bag and kind of heated. Further we spent our meal with the sever standing behind the bar glaring at our table as if she was trying to disintegrate us with her mind. Lucky she wasn't good at that either. Certainly not a Thanos or Professor X. We got a little relief from the death stare when the live entertainment showed up and she switched to groupie mode and dry humped his leg like a blind poodle on a teddy bear. At this point it really s sounds like I'm selling this place but don't forget you have to pay for this and train wrecks are normally free. Just pull up Netflix and watch the RuPual's Drag Race episode with Penny Tration and eat a partially warmed Hot Pocket. read more

Okay, the "bar" food is standard not great. The winner was the gravy on the Canadian naughty treat, poutine. Chicken wings breaded; but deal not hot. Side salad good mix of greens. This is a classic throw-away bar space. You just know they'll chuck the furniture & decor in a few years & rebrand with another misspelled attempt at being trendy. It's a pretty inoffensive space, with a half-hearted club/bar feel & sports on the TV. Staff was... pushy. They were in a hurry to turn tables, despite it not being busy. The food was mediocre. In fact, the Mediterranean plate consists of three dips that I'm certain are President's Choice. At least it wasn't outrageously priced. Speaking of price, they have no qualms about flat out lying about the local tourist tax, refusing to remove it and claiming that all diners must pay it. Beware. All Hilton affiliated restaurants do this. read more

live band, good drinks and food. Alessandra was helpful and friendly and very professional, the kind of waitress that doesn't use a notepad and remembers everything correctly - very impressive. beautiful décor- was a rainy night- just wish the band kept playing instead of cutting it short because the rain made for few people late at the bar- would have stayed longer if band didn't decide to cut it short. will return. read more

Ok I went to Niagara Falls, my family had to eat so we went to Spyce. I ordered the kale salad with quinoa and chickpeas. We waited for 45 minutes then the waitress told us that there was a new chef in the kitchen and she did not know when the food would come out and let me just say she could not have cared less. About 30 minutes later, our food arrived. I checked and the "kale salad" did not have any kale so I sent it back and 30 minutes later our food came out and the kale was not cut or anything.
