Yum! Thanks boys!

Wow what a find! We've visited this place on a number of occasions! We've love the interior and the atmosphere! In the summer time, the patio is spectacular! With the most amazing view of the falls and cozy comfy couches by fire pits and the best view of the fire works! From Oysters to shrimps to $1k cocktails! Yes you read correctly! They offer it all! We also love that they can get seafood and sushi from the 'noodle bar' downstairs after hours. Great service at the bar and the lighting is just right for date night! Cheers!

The Pork Belly Kebabs were delicious!! It arrived on a plate of five on a bed of greens with the maple soya glaze drizzled over it. Each skewer had about four chunks of pork belly stabbed through a transparent skewer stick. The pork belly was so smooth, tender, and rich in flavour. I loved this appetizer!!

Nice cozy place for drinks. There was only 2 tables when we went at 7:40PM than by 9:30PM there were 6 tables. This place was empty compared to the 2 buffets and food court in the casino. If you want to escape the crowd than this place is great. The food was good, small portions so perfect to share while having a drink.

Beautiful view to the falls

Great service , waitresses are very friendly and professional, very Nice drink cocktails, and appetizers available and It's very chill hangout place . Nice outdoor breeze and outdoor fire , highly recommend it .

Can you see the Falls? Me either.

Falls view? Who are they kidding?? All you can see are smidgens of the Falls through fully mature trees. After two days of dealing with the the theft of our car from the hotel parking lot, we had one chance to enjoy watching the falls while sipping a glass of wine and we wasted it on this place. Promoting the bar as having beautiful falls view is completely misleading and I really resent being duped.

The only two flatbread pizzas on the menu.

Located inside the casino building. Just terrible service upon entering the lounge. There was a huge sign telling us to wait to be seated. There was no one in sight so how could we wait around? Though we waited for a couple minutes and still no one came to greet us. We walked in to show our faces. Several workers saw us and continued to chat amongst themselves! There were a couple waiters in the kitchen that us, didn't even acknowledge us and just kept chatting. Then there were several staff at the bar, who saw us and also continued to socialize with each other!! I think there were a total of 6 staff that saw us waiting around in the front and not a single person came to greet us. They just glanced over and continued to joke around. Also note that none of the staff were with guests, it felt like they just didn't feel like working. My boyfriend and I were also dressed up, he was in a suit and I was in a dress. I'm thinking there's no reason for them not to serve us?? Finally, I walked up to the bar, and magically 4 of those staff WALKED AWAY FROM ME. When I finally chased one down, I asked them if they were still open and serving food. He looked at me and told me to sit wherever I wanted. What a battle to get a seat and flag a staff down. The decor of the lounge was nice. There was a patio seating area and a large inside seating area. We opted for a spot outside. We went through the menu, and there was nothing but a couple of appetizers and a large drink list. We came here looking for food because some older reviews had mentioned food items. However when we asked our waitress she said that the menu changes seasonally and they don't serve mains anymore. Our waitress was great. She was unlike any of the staff that worked there. She was attentive and and friendly. We ordered the calamari which was a decent portion. It was tasty but a little too salty. The two flatbread pizzas were okay. Nothing amazing. We also ordered two martinis that were okay.

Review Highlights - R5

Clean, crisp, alcohol which is decently priced for a tourist area (who expected to pay $30 a plate at a Macaroni Grill).

Cabo Cantina - Great dinner and atmosphere. Our waitress, Bridget was fantastic. Ask for the Kobe beef tacos.

I've been arguing with myself about whether or not to write this review as I honestly can't say…read morewhat the food tastes like. My husband and I decided to give this place a try last night after having looked at the menu and thinking that it sounded really interesting. At around 7:45pm we headed to the restaurant and were seated almost immediately. We were given menus and a drinks menu. We noticed that the restaurant was quite empty, perhaps 30% full. We looked around and saw several servers strolling around. We took a look at the drinks menu and decided that we'd have a couple of cocktails with our appetizers. Then we waited...and waited...and waited. Although many servers walked past us and talked with people at a table only a few feet away, not one person approached us. After almost 15 minutes without even being acknowledged we put our coats on and left. We did tell the host on our way out and he said "oh, sorry" but admittedly we didn't wait to hear what else he had to say as we were fed up. For a new business, which wasn't at all busy and had several servers walking around with nothing to do, I really don't think there was any excuse for this. Had they been busy, then we would of course have understood why someone didn't get to us sooner. We were extremely disappointed and won't be recommending this restaurant.

We ordered Elota (Nachos with Corn and cheese dip) to start. We loved the dip. For main course we had grilled vegetable Enchiladas and Qasedilla. I loved both dishes. Especially Enchiladas. It was out of this world. One of the best Enchiladas, I ever had. I am defineitly coming back here every time I come to Niagara Falls.

She was running the bar by…read moreherself and absolutely handled it -- attentive, friendly, efficient, and professional the entire time. I wish I remembered her name, but thank you. You made the visit. Now, when you market yourself as the Original Buffalo Wing, that carries real weight. There's history there. There's pride there. And honestly, there's an expectation that comes with it. If you're going to carry that banner, you have to be better than Buffalo Wild Wings. That's just the reality. The identity of the place is built on being the original. The wings were good. Solid flavor, classic presentation, cold beer, sports on the TVs -- it checks the boxes for a fun wing spot. But were they clearly a step above other national wing chains? Probably not. And that's where the expectation gap shows up. That said, it's still a good place to grab wings and a beer. Bring your buddies, bring your family, bring your girlfriend -- catch a game and hang out. It's casual and comfortable. If you're in Niagara Falls and want to experience the history behind the name, it's worth a stop. Just go in expecting a solid wing-and-beer experience rather than something that completely resets the standard.

I've heard about Anchor bar many times over the years and though the pics I've seen of their…read moreBuffalo Wings never looked appetizing to me, I stopped in here one evening because it was a quick walk from my hotel and it was pouring rain. When I got there they were moderately busy, but there were many seats available at the bar, where I sat. It took a while before the bartender came to greet me and it was a quick touch & go when she did. Service was extremely lackluster the entire visit as she stayed at the other end of the bar the entire time, either handling service bar or patrons on that end... Made me wish I would have sat down there instead. But I had to wait for basic stuff, like a fork after being served my food. The food was decent. I tried their Beef on Weck and Wing combo - It looked nice then it came out, but it didn't come with much horseradish and I wanted to ask for more, but I'd still be waiting, so I dealt with what I got. The sandwich itself was great! Beef was tender and flavorful, the bun was great too - except I don't understand why they made them with the outside being so greasy, that's nasty. The wings had decent flavor, I ordered them with their spicy BBQ sauce on them, which wasn't spicy at all. They had a nice crisp to them too, but they were small and not very meaty, so 5 went down quickly. The fries were plain and basic, nothing special. I had to wait quite a while for the check and ended up flagging down the barback to get it for me and hurried up and paid while I had his attention, as the bartender never came back down to our end of the bar. Seems like the 2 guests around me had the same issue. Overall, it's a touristy place with mediocre food and poor service.
