Was previously here and had an absolutely incredible experience; something I shared with many other foodies in my life, and I have been wanting to get back here to bring my spouse so she could enjoy it as I had. Unfortunately the experience this time was not enjoyable, and really left us disappointed. Now quick note, the food was still excellent and the drink selection was vast- that was much the same as previous and I will commend them for their dedication to keeping up such a high standard for those. On the not so good side this time, the atmosphere- there was a birthday booked and set up about halfway in the dining area. So when we first came in we could either sit next to the cold door, or have to push and plead our way through this crowd to get a seat at the bar which was nearly empty last the party- it seems we were one of the few brave enough to try and fight through them. While I am all for having events at neighborhood restaurants, I think ownership needs to read the room and make sure the event matches the vibe. This is a quote, very intimate small plate restaurant and having 25 plus people screaming and getting intoxicated really was off putting and ruined our date night. Secondly, the staff seemed to be having some large conflict and it also tarnished the experience. There was one main bar tender girl, a bus boy / helper who didn't seem to have much to do, and a lead kitchen girl that seemed to be out front a lot. When we sat down it was mostly us and the party which at this point was only 10ish people. By the time we left there was about 35 people and service had slowed way down. The bar tender was busting out drinks, but you can only make so many multi ingredient signature cocktails at a time. At one point the gentleman next to us asked for a simple bottled beer, which the bus boy stepped up to try and get him, and he was scolded loudly in front of the guests that he was not to get any drinks, and and the gentleman would need to wait for the bar tender who took another 10-15 minutes to assist him because she had so many drinks to make for the party. The final straw was the drunk couple next to us; they intermittently joined the party, and were very visibly intoxicated- multiple times the guy kept interjecting into our meal to loudly exclaim or remark about the charcuterie board we had ordered. Again, I don't mind a friendly question but having Mr. Drunk loudly yelling from the seat next to us was again off putting, and did not match the vibe of the venue. All in all, remove the party and this night would have been just as special as the first time I was here. Add the party, and a quite venue was turned into a rager that stopped us from ordering more drinks and food, and seeking another place to continue our evening.

Judas Tree has to be one the most special little spots in all of Niagara Falls. From the exterior to the beautifully curated interior, this little slice of peacefulness is the perfect ending to any given day. The small plate menu serves as the perfect accompaniment to a chilled cocktail or tall beer. The music was spot on and the decor is unmatched. The staff was welcoming, genuine & gracious. I was happy to chat with both the bartender & the owner, at length. They never made me feel rushed or that I was "pulling them away from something". This is customer service at its best. Do yourself a favor & visit Judas Tree next time you're in Niagara Falls. Some of my favorite dishes include: Brie Focaccia Figgy Focaccia

We stopped at this absolutely adorable cocktail and snack lounge on our way to dinner, and I wished we could've just stayed there to eat! The cocktails we had were fabulous, and the menu was full of delicious snacky and some heartier foods. You can tell that everything from the wallpaper to the furniture and custom classical looking wood cabinetry was carefully designed. I will be back to eat and have more cocktails.

Unassuming restaurant for great drinks and small plates. The inside has great ambiance and works the vintage-ness of the building into the decor. We chose to sit on the covered patio (in March) I couldn't pass up the antique couches and tables and the heater made the temperature just right. We chose a split board and the cicchetti pick 6. My favorites were the apricot and (surprisingly) the ham and cheese. While I love a good meat and cheese board the cicchetti stole the show. Highly recommended. If we hadn't crossed the border the next night we probably would have ended up there again for dinner.

Amazing place right in downtown Niagara Falls. Cute spot with charcuterie boards and great cocktails. Definitely worth checking out.

Been coming to buffalo on work trips for a year now and have been less than impressed with the food scene, til I came here. Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, incredible cocktails and delicious tapas. Throw in the cute patio and outdoor areas... what more could you ask for? I'll be back!! Worth the short drive from buff

Judas Tree is brand-new and excellent. I found this gem of a place in Niagara Falls via Yelp... what pulled me in was the cocktail menu. There are few good options and this place is bikeable and walkable from the downtown Falls area. I'm somewhat of a cocktail and food snob because Philadelphia is such a foodie city... but Judas Tree made drinks on par with some of my fav places from home and served them in beautiful little glasses with such care. I loved the Monte Carlo in particular, but all their signature drinks look great. I didn't order food because I had dinner earlier but the dishes coming out looked quite tasty. The decor is fun and artsy and there's an outdoor patio that's about to open up. The owners, Becca and Josh, are a hard-working brother and sister team that are super friendly and welcoming. It is a place that I would absolutely return to and I hope it thrives!

Really neat place to relax and wind down. Enjoy a wine spritzer, wine or any drink from their extensive bar. Their little bites to eat were delicious. I was traveling by myself and found the place to be friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my wine with a bite to eat watching a bocce game.

I've never had egg whites so wasn't use to the taste but with the protein and veggies went perfect. A simple breakfast that went a long way. I wish it had it had a bit more mushrooms and spinach as I devoured it right up but nonetheless such a healthy option. This breakfast came from the a la carte options. Next, on my last day there I ordered the Chilaquiles Scramble for breakfast. It is scrambled eggs with cotija cheese, chorizo, salsa verdi, pico di gallo, crema, avocado, flour tortilla chips. This was soo delish the combo of all of these ingredients felt like I was eating a meal straight from Mexico. The tortilla at the bottom was a bit watery probably because I took it to go but still so yummy! Before these menu items, I ate from the buffet for breakfast as it was included in our room rate. I do prefer the a la carte menu over the buffet as I usually have only have a plate anyway and I think the menu items are just a bit more unique and specific options that the buffet might not carry. The buffet as your basic breakfast items and doesn't carry any veggies which was another reason why the a la carte menu is more my style. My kiddos had the French toast from the buffet and pancakes from the menu and they were satisfied with both. If you can, the free breakfast included in the room rate is such a must and the nice view they have overlooking the lake and rapids makes it highly worth it.

The bread that came with the meal was terrible - chewy + undercooked. Their "maple butter" tasted like a BBQ potato chip - nasty. Their "whipped potatoes" were actually disgusting, didn't even deserve the title of instant potatoes. Bland and a weird texture. The drink had a nasty syrup at the bottom that was inedible. Super expensive restaurant that didn't have the ambience to make up for its bad food.

It's a nice sized place, With a bar in the center (that only accepts cash unfortunately), A big ladies room with lots of stalls & pretty clean. Chairs for us old ppl who can't stand long. A section for the handicapped. A nice big section for bands' merchandise & for "Meet & Greets." There's actually parking & it doesn't take hours to leave the lot. This is probably my favorite venue for concerts. You don't stick to the floor or anything, lol .

I ended up having to park across the street in a tiny lot though I did arrive about 10 minutes before the show was supposed to start. Walking around to the front, I entered in and there was plenty of security at the door. Girls and guys were separated into two lines and we had to empty pockets and I was pat down. After scanning my ticket and getting my wrist band, I was in. The interior was really cool though, I liked the aesthetic. Since it was a Wednesday, I didn't really want to get into the booze, so I asked for just a water, but they don't serve tap, only bottled (which they take the cap away) that cost $3, which I thought was a little strange but oh well. Afterwards, I went up to the balcony and was able to find a chair and high-table to sit down. As soon as I did though, the power went out. In all of Niagara Falls. All the way to Schenectady (apparently). This occurred about five minutes before the show was to start. It took over 2.5 hours for the power to be restored. I was a little disappointed at the lack of communication to the crowd. Though it was pretty cool that some of the members of the bands that were going to perform came out and played acoustic. Once the power was restored though, they were pretty quick at getting the bands on. The first four bands played abbreviated sets while the headliner was able to play their full set (even though they were pushed about an hour behind). The instrumentals came across very well into the balcony but the vocals seemed muffled, I couldn't really understand what the singer was singing. I have a feeling that this would've been rectified had the power not gone out. In the end, I had a good time here. I wish management had communicated a bit more about power restoration times and alternatives, but this is such a rare occurrence for them to have to deal with something like that. I would like to come back here again and, hopefully, experience a normal night here!

You made the visit. Now, when you market yourself as the Original Buffalo Wing, that carries real weight. There's history there. There's pride there. And honestly, there's an expectation that comes with it. If you're going to carry that banner, you have to be better than Buffalo Wild Wings. That's just the reality. The identity of the place is built on being the original. The wings were good. Solid flavor, classic presentation, cold beer, sports on the TVs -- it checks the boxes for a fun wing spot. But were they clearly a step above other national wing chains? Probably not. And that's where the expectation gap shows up. That said, it's still a good place to grab wings and a beer. Bring your buddies, bring your family, bring your girlfriend -- catch a game and hang out. It's casual and comfortable. If you're in Niagara Falls and want to experience the history behind the name, it's worth a stop. Just go in expecting a solid wing-and-beer experience rather than something that completely resets the standard.

We were visiting from California and came to catch the soccer game on a Saturday early evening. The…read morebar wasn't busy when we sat down, which makes the experience below even harder to explain. Service: 1/5. This was a team effort in the worst way. A skinny bald gentleman who appeared to be a manager was dismissive from the start, walking away mid-sentence before we could even order, multiple times, always rushing off only to go stand at the host desk. And when he did bring our drinks, he literally slammed them down on the table. From the person who's supposed to be setting the standard for the staff --seriously? We sat for 15 minutes without anyone taking our order, meanwhile, a table seated after us got their food before we'd even ordered. When we finally flagged down a server with long blonde hair and mentioned the wait, her response was "who gave you your drinks?" - deflection instead of an apology. We also tried waving down a server with dreadlocks, who acted like he didn't hear us and walked away. To be fair, there was one other bald staff member who was genuinely kind and helpful - he was the lone bright spot, and the difference between him and everyone else was night and day. Food: 3.5/5. Credit where it's due - the food was good. Breaded pickles, original buffalo wings, and the habanero dry rub with ranch, which was genuinely good. The Bloody Mary was flavorful and they had Yuengling. About $82 with tip. Ambiance: 2.5/5. Spacious sports bar with TVs everywhere, which works for game day. But there was water leaking from the vents onto the carpet the entire time we were there - that's a maintenance issue, not a vibe. Bottom line: the food holds up, the service doesn't. If you want Anchor Bar wings near the Falls, do takeout -- skip the dine-in experience entirely. Will we come back? No. Would we recommend dining in? No. To management: scroll through these reviews and you'll see service complaints going back a year or more, same issues, same patterns, still unresolved. Whoever has been running this floor has had more than enough time to fix it. Replying to reviews with apologies isn't the same as addressing the problem. Actually retrain the staff, actually hold the floor manager accountable, and actually fix the leaking vents. Until then, this location is coasting on a famous name it didn't earn.
