Bob Evans is located next to a tourist center, and as a result there is ample parking. We walked in for breakfast during Canadian Thanksgiving / Columbus Day and this place was bustling. We were seated within 10 minutes and were quickly met by our waitress. I ordered the pot roast over fries, which comes with two eggs over roast beef over potatoes. It also includes two breakfast breads (I ordered the buttermilk biscuits). She ordered the mini sampler, which includes an egg, two sausages, a breakfast side (she ordered the hash browns) and a breakfast bread. The food was delivered quickly along with our check ($15 total) and a promo for soup to go. The food itself was good, and what I expected from a breakfast restaurant. Quick, cheap, tasty. They don't have Bob Evans where I live now or where I grew up but I looked it up and realized that it was something like a Denny's, our hotel was offering up some pathetic breakfast so we didn't mind paying to eat a good breakfast, the ambiance is nice with spacious design and nice staff, we sat right away and got our menus, once I opened one I noticed how inexpensive the prices were, I can't remember our servers name but she was definitely on point with our order and making us comfortable while making sure we had everything we would need, as far as food I ordered a two meat meal for $12 which came with sausage and bacon, 2 eggs, home fries and French toast, they wasn't the best breakfast I've ever had but it was far from bad, we all enjoyed it and enjoyed not getting our wallets destroyed. read more

I went to the Niagara Falls location for Breakfast, and was happy with the experience. I had eggs, sausage and double blueberry pancakes - which were super delicious! I don't understand why this place got such a low rating on yelp. I came here twice for lunch and enjoyed everything I ordered. I would recommend their cranberry pecan chicken salad (request dressing on the side if you want it healthier and less salty), slow roasted ham and Swiss. Banana nut bread is my fav side. All the desserts look soooo yummy! I tried brownie ice cream and caramel sundae. Both taste greeeeat!! Down side: service is a little slow. read more

My weakness...sausage gravy..it's so popular in the restaurant that they even have it's own breakfast ( sausage gravy and biscuits). The menu selection is quite big, so looking for something to satisfy your pallet is easy. On this visit, I had the country fried steak with biscuits and gravy. Great taste, good portion sizes. This is a great friendly establishment that offers a great service but food was a little sub par. It was pricey almost equivalent to Denny's. The crepe was good but a little too sweet. The sausage links were similar to the one in ikea and the hash Browns could have been more brown. The eggs on the other hand were nicely scrambled! I would recommend the toast and not the biscuits, they were a little bit salty. We had coffee before coming here for a quick bite so we never got to try the coffee. We were not served! We arrived 9:40 and they close at 10. We were told that they can not serve us!!! I have been in many restaurants and was there 10min before closing and they served us with no problems as they will be cleaning and wrapping up some stuff before leaving the place. I wondering why they did not actually want to serve us. We were two families with 4 kids after a long day at the falls. We were really disappointed. Came here for breakfast and the food was mediocre. Im used to having good food here, this is the first time ive ever been disappointed. The crepes were not good, also got French toast and it was smothered in too much butter and the hash browns were burnt bad couldnt even eat those. They need a better cook for sure. Tried this location out to see if it matched the other location we ate at and it was exactly the same! Food was consistent and flavorful. I would recommend trying them out. On Friday morning I witnessed the manager Debra acting deplorable to a young hostess who seated us. She was bullying her and demeaning her over icing! When I asked about this behavior I found this is common and what the young staff who are teens have to deal with daily! Most quit and I can't blame them. Typically I don't leave negative reviews but the food was horrible. Not only were two out of the three orders incorrect, but the quality was inedible. While I'm in town during travel and will definitely never return, I felt it was important to share so others can use caution in choosing this location. Stopped at this location for breakfast and must say it was a huge mistake. Food was cold and the service was terrible. I ordered coffee and my wife ordered orange juice. Waitress comes back with two coffee cups, recognizes the mistake and says she'll be right back. It was 25 minutes later before we saw the OJ, then a different server brought out our food ( cold of course). We used to come here all the time. It's a good place to bring the kids & everyone could find something on the menu. However, we haven't been back in months. The last time we went I realised how dirty it was. There was dirt and stuff all over the window sills and windows, the table and seats had sticky stuff all over it. Amazing prices, very friendly staff, and a very extensive children's menu. Very clean looking inside, decor is a bit dated, but they are going for the farm house kitchen look so I guess it works. The food is excellent, skip the home fries and get the hash browns instead. And don't leave without trying one of those huge biscuits.
