Acropolis did not disappoint one bit! The menu has the traditional theme of Greek restaurants of breakfast all day, lunch all day, dinner all day! My friend ordered the falafel burger and Greek potatoes and he said they were great. But don't be like my friend; the potatoes are very soft and there's a crazy amount of butter in their bowl and not once, but twice, he picked one up with his fork and it broke on his lap, getting butter everywhere! So make sure you eat them right over the bowl before you ruin your pants and shirt haha I ordered the applewood smoked bacon burger. You get your choice of cheese and I think they had a good five options. I ordered it medium but I will say it was more close to well-done. It didn't bother me and also it was still very very juicy so no biggie. It was well-flavored and stacked with bacon and I nice siracha mayo, as well as the usual tomato, onion, and lettuce. These handhelds come with standard ripple potato chips but you can have other options for an up charge (fries, potatoes, soup, salad...) Seating is indoor and outdoor. I enjoyed sitting outside. Busy lunchtime = longer wait times. With that said, the falafel burger was moist, not dried, like others, large and tasty. My companion loves their rice pudding and made sure to take one home for later. They pack a patio for summer dining on this busy village corner, great for viewing local walkers and Main St. traffic. Early on a hot summer day I chose the dining room but others were happily enjoying breakfast on the patio. I was greeted with smiles by two of the staff and seated in a corner of the world that could easily have been imagine along Athen's Plaka. Great upbeat energy in such a pleasant dining area. I am so happy that they have found a home amongst the Village of Williamsville's incredible restaurant scene. The breakfast menu offers plenty of options but does not overwhelm (You can build your own omelette like I did.). Coffee cup keeps filling as if by magic and the food looks amazing when it is delivered. Not a dried omelette but one that shouts fresh!! Hot sauce without asking and soon it's all gone with the flavors of chicken souvlaki an added special touch. Been here several times since my first review and everyone has loved the experience. Two complaints that do not take away a star but almost do: coffee price is way too high (I didn't choose Starbucks for breakfast.) but they do keep your cup full and a $2 upcharge for chicken on a $15 omelette seems inappropriate when other meats come at no added cost. Service could have moved a bit more.. After the food came ( it wasn't hot) We waited awhile ( apparently the chef forgot) that we had requested feta on our wraps. Finally went up the stairs to look for our waitress (myself ) to ask for feta. The waitresses seem to mostly hang out up on loft folding napkins or whatnot doing prep stuff. Also dont make our mistake ( sat by front door ) in super awkward table where we had no idea people would be squeezing past us. read more

My first visit here for lunch was awesome!! To me this really feels like an elevated Greek diner experience that is awesome for the area. The salad was huge which I honestly didn't expect for the price which makes this super affordable in my eyes. Everything tasted fresh and unique here. Amazing spot I visited for an early brunch. Ordered the brioche French toast with blueberries, powdered sugar and whipped cream, the toast was perfect. Additionally got a side of eggs and bacon which was deliciously crispy. Food didn't take long to come out. To drink the hot coffee was tasty enough for multiple cups. Love sitting next to the warm fireplace and enjoying watching the view out the large window. The server was very friendly and made sure everything was good. We love Greek Food but it's really hard to find good authentic Greek Food. We love staying in Williamsville when we come to visit and were happy to see this new restaurant pop up. Everyone was happy with their meals. The beef souvlaki Greek Wrap was very flavorful and absolutely delicious. Loved my Santorini Salad with the super flavorful and tender beef souvlaki. The salad also had so many delicious extras that really made it. My husband loved his chicken souvlaki Santorini Salad and the chicken lemon soup. He thought the beef was more flavorful. We were happy they had room on their patio because it was pretty warm inside. It was a lovely patio overlooking Main St. The service was a bit slow potentially because they're experiencing staffing shortages like everyone else. I also heard they moved and may be getting their groove at the new location. Definitely check them out if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed by the food. Right on Main Street is this smallish Greek restaurant, with outdoor seating available in fair weather. It was a buzzing place and the high ceilings in this old Starbucks created a rather noisy atmosphere- not so loud you couldn't converse though. Our party of three was delighted by the kind service and the food was delish. The attached photos paint the best picture of the bagel sandwich, American breakfast and amazing yogurt and granola parfait. With honey. Yum!! The table next to us had a slight spill of water and did the employees spring into action with great finesse and kindness! Cleaned up respectfully and that was that. Very impressive teamwork. This review is gonna be very detailed and pretty long ... so buckle up. Let me start by saying that customer service is a very important criterion when dining out. There is no way a customer should ever leave an establishment feeling like the business they gave ....was NOT important to a small business or any business. I went last week to try this place for Brunch. I pulled in back and parked my vehicle and made to to the door to discover they closed early. Instead of being opened until 4 as advertised, they were closed at 2:30-3:00. I could see someone inside sweeping. That was inconvenient.... but things happen... So we decided to check them out for dinner yesterday since we were again in the area. This place used to be a Starbucks years ago .. and it still has the exact setup with the step-up or down dining area. We walk in, and there is no sign to indicate whether seating was your choice or if an attendant would seat you. So we walked past and headed to the step up area, where a waitress advised confirmed our party number and advised us she would seat us. There were about 2-3 tables occupied. We were seated and provided menus, and she requested our drink orders. She seemed a bit new because she was unaware of the choices, but she was kind. We ordered and those were brought to us and she took our food order. We viewed the menu before entering so there would be no delays. Our selections were Chicken Souvlaki wrap, Spicy Thai wrap, and a bacon burger. What we noticed before coming in is that just about everything is essentially a la carte. The wraps come alone, and the burger does as well. You have to pay an additional $5.00 to get fries with it. OK, whatever ... She brings out the large 10" dishes with the plaid wax paper, and the wraps are sitting in the middle. It's just a very large dish for one item. There is no garnish, pickle , chips ....nothing just this large plate with your item and a take out container of sauce (like a dill sauce) . The burger was served with lettuce, tomatoes, and onion but no other condiments ... except a container of some sauce. So we began eating ... 4 bites in, and I am chewing a large wad of fat, gristle before I could get it out. something sharp is poking me in my throat. I am now gagging to bring up what is in my throat because it felt sharp. My eyes are watering, and I am able to get it to come up ... it's a bone. A freaking chicken bone. This thing was about an inch long. The waitress comes over to see if we need anything, and I show her the bone. She takes it and walks away. About 8 mins go by, and I notice the waitress is avoiding our table. I finally flagged her to come over and asked if there was a manager available. She tells me she will have him stop over. He comes right out to the table like a deer in headlights, and I ask, " Are you aware of the incident? " ... trying not to be loud or make a big fuss. He says "Oh you mean about the bone? Yeah, what about it?" He then told me they are farm to table. They process the food themselves, and the food isn't frozen. It happens all the time. Let me just say he mentioned they are a farm to table at least 5 times AS IF I had no clue what it meant or that I hadn't read where I was going. I asked him, " Why did I need to request to see you?" because he should have willingly come over to explain or extend an apology at least .. his response was a shoulder shrug. At this point, the conversation is pointless. There was no empathy or concern. He did mention twice that it happens at least 2-3 times a week. As though it was no big deal. The conversation ended. I asked the waitress for a container because I was not eating another bite. My guest, who had the other wrap, wasn't interested in finishing hers, so we boxed them up. The waitress brought the check over, and we paid ... What's frustrating... is to not leave a tip. You are judged. But this young lady literally avoided us and never offered to get a manager in the first place. So I left a mediocre tip and left. I will not go back again. Those leftovers quickly got discarded. This is a serious quality control issue. Farm to table does NOT in any way justify something that could have been a serious problem. We are instructed not to feed animals cooked bones because they are sharp and can cause damage. Safety standards are supposed to be adhered to as well. What manager doesn't know that? read more

This restaurant was located on Elwood Avenue in Buffalo. It closed it's doors in 2021 and has recently reopened on Main Street in Williamsville. It has indoor and outdoor seating. Used to be one of my favorite Greek Restaurants in Buffalo. Love the new location with the same great service and food. I hope they make it and they should with the food we tried. read more

Nice place for a patio brunch, clean and the live music was also great! The food was good for American style greek food. The service is so lacking. Very slow, had to ask for silverware and the timing of food was way off. People sit at the tables forever and the restaurant can't turn them. Time is money. I have been to many restaurants lately and I have been told quite a few times how long I have the table for, and when the next reservation is coming in. I like the transparency and I think it's a good business practice for that restaurant to serve more. read more

When we walked in, we saw many people waiting at the hostess stand. It was initially unclear whether they were waiting to pay or waiting to be seated. The wait staff was not concerned. The place was not 'busy' but there were definitely people who needed service. We sat ourselves at the bar. Waited about 10 minutes. Nobody came to greet us, nothing. I did see that the waitress would swing by and talk to her boyfriend at the bar next to us. It became apparent that they were purposely ignoring us. We had no menus, no drinks, no eye contact and no greeting. Fantastic dinner at Main St location. Food was perfect (moussaka is awesome). Perhaps the most attentive and helpful server we've ever had anywhere. Helped that we were the only diners. They need to do better job getting the word out they are open for dinner, but the place will definitely take off. Ambiance only so-so, but the gas fireplace on a cold night was perfect. read more

I do take out and dine here pretty frequently during the work week and the food is always spot on. I recently put in an order through the Toast app and unknowingly selected the location on high street. When I came in to pick up my order and realized my mistake the staff was so kind and offered to make my order for me right there and it came out super fast. We went for breakfast the other day and most of the food options were priced at $16.00 -$18.00!! Coffee was$3.75 which I felt was expensive and considering you always had to ask for more coffee! Came here for the first time for my mom's birthday, just the two of us. Waited to be seated and the hostess couldn't even take the time to walk us to our table, she just pointed where to go. Then we ordered quickly as we were hungry, the food took over 30 minutes just to make two salads. As for the seating, we sat outside and it was absolutely disgusting, trash everywhere outside on the ground like they do not clean up. They left dirty tables which attracted a swarm of bees, some guests couldn't even sit outside they had to move inside. They didn't wipe down tables where someone spilt syrup next to us and then the bee problem got even worse!! Our waitress apparently left without telling us and we sat there for 20 minutes waiting after asking for water until the bus boy told us she ran to the store "to get orange juice" because they were out. He agreed to bring us our check and a box yet did not do it. I get what happens if you are busy but this establishment needs to get it together, this was absolutely ridiculous and ruined our day. The only reason this place gets two stars is because the food and prices aren't too bad... that's if you can handle the poor service and gross environment. read more

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile now. We picked a beautiful day specifically to sit outside. The patio is fine, shaded nicely but swarming with bees. Two tables exited their tables during our visit because they couldn't handle the bees. I overheard a waitress telling another table that they were unable to use the patio a few days prior because of the bee problem. May want to check into that? But, we were able to enjoy our time outside except for one lonely bee that annoyed us now and then but that was ok. The waitress was friendly, the place was clean. Food was a disappointment. I ordered a simple BLT. $14 for two pieces of bread with lettuce, tomato and bacon. A lonely sandwich on a big plate. For $14 I think a pickle or a handful of potato chips should of been added. If I wanted fries it would be an extra $5. I passed. The hubby got a souvlaki breakfast. By mistake he received French fries instead of the home fries. Glad I didn't waste $5 for those fries! Rock hard, overcooked fries with not a grain of salt or any other spice on them. They sat untouched. The waitress brought out the home fries he ordered and my husband couldn't eat more then a few bites. He commented that they were so overcooked and hard that he couldn't chew them. Maybe the cook is new? But the quality was definitely lacking. There are too many restaurants in the area to bother with trying this place again.
