This is a small little diner in a plaza, it wasn't what I was expecting but it was a decent experience. The big thing to note is that they only accept cash, they do have an ATM in the restaurant if you need it. The service was great, but the food was nothing special... It's good but they've had pretty much the same menu for 20 something years. They don't do seasonal or fresh-it's classic Italian and they do it well. Would definitely go more if the menu was half seasonal. read more

I visited the diner this morning, after a long absence. I've always preferred local dining places opposed to chain restaurants. Upon arrival, I was demanded to sit a 4 place table (I was alone) or the counter, even though there were 3 empty 4 place booths available. The reason given to me by the blonde partner was that they lose too business if the booth is occupied by 1 person. That obviously makes no sense, since all the seating (tables or booths) are made for 4 people. There are 2 tables in one area where they could be combined. My meal, as always, was very good, prepared by the chef/partner. The blonde, almost immediately after serving the food, drop the check off and quickly said the word (good) and walked away and never to return. She was extremely rude for no apparent reason. Upon paying, I asked if there was something I did wrong to warrant that treatment, and she barked it is their policy to place a single diner at a table or the counter. She then dismissed me. wouldnt even give one star. Food was SOAKED in bright orange old greese so bad it leaked through the take out container and onto my desk. I only ate 3 fries from the top of the pile as the rest were unediable due to the thick sopping greese. The 3 fries I did eat made my sick for the rest of the day from the old oil used. Clearly they dont change the fryers. I ordered a dry blt and mayo on side so ity wouldn't be soggy and i got half dry like asked and half soaked in mayo. They obvioulsly realised their mistake but instead of remaking the toast, they gave me half and half. To top it off they have nothing to drink there other than cofee or juice. NEVER AGAIN! I warned my co-worker not to go but she tried it anyway and same issues except she dined in and at 12:30 WHILE she was sitting at the table eating, they shut the lights off on her and made her take the rest to go!!! read more

When I go out for breakfast with my parents I often end up just getting side dishes because there are no vegan options on the menu. I was pleasantly surprised that Amici Diner had avocado toast with strawberries and a balsamic glaze on it. It was delicious! The diner was very clean and it was cozy in our booth. The server was very friendly and she even made us laugh. Prices seemed typical for a diner and parking was easy in the small parking lot out front. Overall, highly recommend! read more

Loved it here! Saturday morning and didn't have to wait for a table, that's tough to find! It was spotless, so clean that it's the first thing you notice. For a drink I got a hot chocolate and it was delicious. We got the eggs Benny and the biscuits and gravy. They came out pretty fast and both were great! The biscuits and gravy had so much flavor and you could tell it was homemade. The hollandaise was also perfect and eggs were poached correctly on the Benny (it's my pet peeve if you order a Benny and the yolks are over cooked). The home fries were delicious too. Clean and modern diner. Didn't realize they didn't serve lunch on Sundays (which is odd) and my husband was unhappy about that as it was noon and he wanted lunch. The service was efficient but definitely not friendly at all. The food was good. Eggs, toast, bacon and pancakes cooked fine, potatoes were just ok. I had asked for sugar free syrup several times and did eventually get it but pancakes no longer hot. Overall pretty good but I like friendlier servers. read more

Stopped in for a breakfast and wonder how "greasy spoon" not on the sign. My friends and my eggs were swimming in grease as were the home fries. Toast drenched in butter as well. Bring a sponge for blotting or some bounty paper towels. Definitely a "lube job" read more

The staff is always very friendly and outgoing, greeting you with a smile as you walk in. If your coffee is empty, it's not empty very long. They are constantly checking everyone's cup. Food is amazing. I always prefer the mom/pop type style restaurants over chain. If you visit them, you will want to keep coming back. read more

Tried it 3 times. Really wanted to support a small local business. Sorry to say, we were disappointed all 3 times. This is why the diner down the street has a 40 minute wait and here there were 2 tables occupied. Hollandaise sauce was flavorless, home fries weren't cooked enough and the onion we asked for in them was raw. Tried to order a pizza, but they did not have dough ready. Got the wings that we were told (by the owner) that they precooked them so they get extra crispy yet stay juicy inside. They were NOT crispy in the least and I'd almost say undercooked. Lastly I tried a burger. Flat, pre-made patty that in no way would have anyone wanting to come again for another. Sadly, I don't think this place will last. read more

It is never good. We have tried different menu items on different occasions. It tastes like it is out of a can.

I ordered scrambled eggs. They came out scrambled and fried on a flat top grill. Not fluffy scrambled eggs. Home fries were loaded with grease. Service was not friendly and why is it a single diner is never afforded the same service as other tables. Server never came back to see if everything was ok but she did so at other tables. read more
