So, we decided to check out this diner. No signs near the road or even an address number. Well we found the place by eliminating the buildings around it. The hype is real, the food here is SO delicious. I got the healthy omelette with feta cheese, rye toast, and home fries. I do wish that the home fries had been a bit crispier, but the omelette and toast were SO good. Generous portion size, great service. And the chandelier is so cool. Great food and the nicest service. Will definitely go back when in the area. Highly recommend. But... get some signage! When paying my tab i asked how long they had been open, and he said six years. From the hand-drawn sign on poster board in the window, I thought they had just opened. When I first pulled into the parking lot and saw that, I almost turned away. Glad I didn't. We had a nice breakfast. Western omelettes, toast. My hubby had home fries. Coffee was good, server was nice. I would go here again, I see they have potato pancakes, I'm excited!! Had time to kill, because my daughter had a nearby appointment. It was 3PM on a Friday. So I thought I would grab a cup of coffee at a diner. Googled diners, and Andy's showed up. [I did not see it in Yelp for some reason]. I called to see if they were open, and I was told yes. Hard to find, no real signage, and in a simple municipal building. Confusing entrance. I was sure it was a mistake. Only a few cars in the parking lot. Hard to believe there is a spotlessly clean, {nice} diner in there. Walked in, made a hard right, saw a large out-of-place crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling, and thought I bet this will be good. It was! Sat at the counter in front. Waited for service, nice guy who's name I didn't catch. Nice menu. I ordered a Western Omelette, my go-to at a new diner), $14.95 and surprisingly didn't include hash browns or home fries [$1.50 more], cutting down on carbs so I didn't get them. No offense ... but here goes ! I love a good late breakfast or a simple early lunch. I am always looking for a new place to add to my list of "go to" never fail spots for a simple dine in experience. The reviews of Andy's gave me what I needed to go and check them out. Unfortunately, they are misleading and perhaps a bit exaggerated. I will admit the staff was exceptional with her tentativeness and joke cracking... but that was the highlight of the experience. Everything came out at different times, and STILL managed to be luke warm at best. The menu is several pages long and full of different options for breakfast and lunch....but let's admit breakfast is usually one of the cheapest meals one can partake on. The prices are a bit higher than what I am accustomed to paying.... and I really didn't see the value. Especially in a diner The food was just alright The French toast wasn't anything exciting I'm used to seeing some sort of compote, fruit ...heck even some powered sugar and cinnamon...but there was nothing to take note of. The toast was a bit mushy in the center. Someone at my table tried the fish and indicated it was undercooked and lacked seasoning .... The ambiance is pretty simple but a bit dated. Drove past and decided to stop in again and ordered the same thing as last time ... turkey bacon club on sourdough (no tomatoes for me but normally they are on it). I got this order to go because I had a lot of calls to make and didn't want to bother anyone in the diner. The two women I came in contact with that worked there were so nice! Customer service means the world to me and when you can pair that with delicious food, it makes for a great day =) maybe I'll try something else someday but that club sandwich is so delightful I had to get it again! read more

We had no idea this place existed! We live close and we're shopping. Had some time to kill and hungry. So we turned on the yelp machine and this popped up. It's inside the same building as a Christian book store. A separate business, we didn't see the sign until we parked. It's a cute place with a diner counter. VERY clean. A young man gave us our menus. Great variety, prices are about the $10-15 range. It's not cheap but not too expensive for the quality. My husband got the turkey club with Mac salad. I got a patty melt with carmalized onions and fries. Two cokes. Price came to about $40. Oh my god though! So much food and it was soooo good. Worth a trip and a nice lunch. read more

Their tag line is Cold coffee, Lousy food ! Well I would have to say that is false advertising, it's anything but! Doesn't look like much from the outside, admittedly, just a space inside a multi-functional building. But go inside, and you are transported to a typical diner , countertop seating and all . The coffee cups were filled by the server immediately (with piping hot coffee I will add!) and he took our order (2 omelettes). Our breakfast came out (my father was quite happy with their use of Buffalo China) fairly quickly and we were impressed. My spinach and Swiss omelette was quite satisfying, but their home fries were by far the star on that plate, perfectly seasoned and cooked . I would not hesitate to return for some lunch selections . For the record, I would change their tagline to Simple concept , Well done execution! But maybe that's too wordy lol . read more

I definitely recommend this business and would give it a lot more stars if I could. My friends and I came yesterday at 10am. It's on Sheridan Drive in Clarence, NY near Harris Hill. They share a building and parking lot with Bender's Christian Store. When you enter the building, make a right. To enter the restaurant, open the sliding door. They are closed on Mondays. They're open 7am-3pm on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. They're open 7am-8pm on Fridays. Their tag line is: cold coffee, lousy food. The coffee isn't amazing but the food definitely is!!! I ordered the healthy omelette. It was $9.95 and has broccoli, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, red onion, sweet peppers, banana peppers, and my choice of cheese. I chose Swiss. The onions and banana peppers provided a great crunch. My friend Nola had French toast and enjoyed it. My friend Jen had two eggs, sausage, toast and potatoes. She enjoyed her breakfast too!! The coffee wasn't cold but it was just okay. (Their tag line is cold coffee, lousy food.) The amazingly fantastic omelette and the great customer service are why I'm giving this great breakfast spot five stars!!! Sorry to leave a subpar review, but Yelp so rarely leads us wrong and I'm afraid it did so here so wanted to let others know. This is effectively like a church cafe, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but wasn't the on the road diner experience we were looking for. This place is clearly for locals and although we felt welcomed and the service was nice, it felt awkward being there. There is no music playing, the tables and decor are what you'd expect of a church cafe (not inherently a bad thing, but very makeshift) and we were just confused as to how this place was so highly rated on Yelp. The food was fine, but nothing of note and felt priced a little high for what it was and where we are. Maybe it's just us, but this just wasn't what we were looking for. read more

Imagine walking into the coziest, friendliest family kitchen. Although the sign ironically says "cold coffee and lousy food" we were truly met with a delicious meal, warm coffee and great conversation with Janice. These are the little places that make Buffalo the greatest city. read more
