Cute little place. Family oriented, decent food , large menu with alot of choices for breakfast,lunch and dinner, great service.

Sugar Shack is a Lockport staple for sure and mostly known to be the best hangover breakfast in town. This weekend were were in town to check out the farmers market and decided to hit up Sugar Shack for old times sake. You cannot beat the prices. For a #2 eggs, bacon, hash-browns, and pancakes it was $6.75 ?!?! And it was delicious to boot. My fav is the hash-browns opposed to home fries which you don't see a lot of at breakfast places anymore. It's a smaller diner but you're usually in and out quick so if there's a wait it shouldn't be too long. read more

We come to Dees around once a month,they are always friendly,the food is good & fast service,it's been our to go place!

A perfect diner for breakfast at a reasonable price. Their posted hours are 7am -2pm Monday-Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and Friday 7am-7pm. This is the ONLY place I will eat pancakes! Any and all are so delicious! This time around I tried the cinnamon roll pancake topped with a little bit of icing. No syrup needed these pancakes are so good all on their own. Also ordered a breakfast sandwich which was served on a fantastic roll. One of my favorite diners! But seriously you should try the pancakes! read more

My friends rave about this place, and having been from Lockport I can't believe I have not been here until now. Came in for breakfast over the weekend with husband. We came about an hour before they were closing up and it was clear that they were preparing for that, the few staff members were walking around eating and cleaning up, but it didn't really bother me. I ordered a bacon and cheese omelette, which is served with toast (I chose white) and I added hashbrowns since I saw in previous reviews that they have them. I wasn't given a choice of cheese, which I didn't realize until she brought it out, with lackluster American cheese that barely constituted enough for an omelette. The bacon slices were like full size pieces inside, which made it hard to eat. The toast was under toasted and had SO much butter (it seemed like fake butter) on it that had not melted and was all gooped on there. And the hashbrowns were underdone and soggy tasty. Nothing was really cooked the way I wanted it to be and I was disappointed. My husband really enjoyed his breakfast, so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing? I'll give it another shot I'm sure, I'll just pick something else. read more

This place is very highly hyped by my wife and her friends, so when in the area yesterday I insisted we stop in for breakfast.The place itself is cozy and a bit dated, but it's a cute little spot and I tend to like places like this because often are "hidden gem" type places and they usually have the best food. The place was busy when we came in, another clear indication we were in for a treat. I ordered the hungry man breakfast which is two eggs, two pancakes, one sausage, two bacon, toast, and home fries. Maybe it's my personal preference but everything was cooked the exact opposite of how I enjoy my breakfast food. The bacon was halfway raw, as were the home fries and the eggs I ordered came out cooked incorrectly (I ordered sunny side up and they gave me over easy). Everything tasted like it was cooked on an extremely greasy/dirty grill. My eggs tasted more like grease than eggs, same goes for the home fries. All and all this was an extremely unimpressive place. I will give them credit for quick service and low prices but those weren't enough to save the day. read more

Great little diner in Lockport. Small place with very fast service and friendly staff. Parking lot stays pretty filled by locals which is always a good sign. Oh and the prices are great too. read more

I'm cutting this place slack because it was Father's Day. The food and service was good. The restaurant was dirty. I'm hoping they were just too busy to keep up with cleaning up. But our table was sticky and we had to request it be wiped down. Restaurant is very similar to Lou's in North Tonawanda. read more

This family favorite just gets better over time. Dee makes the best eggs Benedict in the area and the specialty pancakes are stellar. read more

I cant even rate this place!!!! it actually deserves negative stars!!! never been to this place before and it was right down the road from my employer so we figured we would try it out since they had homemade corn beef hash. WORST. MISTAKE. EVER! I can't even begin to describe the way I want to. the hash consisted if huge chunks of potato and what looked to be something out of a cat food can. Uncooked, thin bacon. Sausage patty rubbery and full of grease on the bottom. eggs with cheese had a slice of unmelted processed cheese. country gravy and biscuits - nothing but thick flour taste for the gravy and the biscuits - they had the taste of how diaper rash cream smells. the food was absolutely disgusting!!!!!! The only thing that was actually edible was the rye toast. Did not eat the food after tasting, called and let the person who answered the phone know that the food was cold, gross and inedible and we were just told "sorry your food didnt taste good" and was offered to have something else made for us - NO THANK YOU!!! My co-workers and myself were so disappointed and will make sure to give our reviews to our friends. I had to give ONE star in order to post the review, but it isnt even worthy of the star read more

Of a small family of 3, this is "our restaurant" and go-to place. The menu has such a great variety, and we look forward to trying different items and have had tons of success with their Specials Board. Our servers have been nothing less than friendly and quick. They are so kind and accommodating to our (3-4, now) 5 year old. The only con is that they're not open longer every day! :) read more

I've lived in lockport most all my life and all the small towns around it. My parent and grandparents and I, use to go here for breakfast. Now most recently I took my family there, we got breakfast eggs, toast, home fries.. good food if all you want is breakfast. Me and my family met my parents there for a early dinner. The special was turkey dinner $8 for shaved salty turkey a half a dish of peas mashed potatoes and a small dash of stuffing and leafy cranberry sauce.. thats it no roll no soup or salad. $2.50 for a soda with 1 refill and if you want that refill togo that will cost you another $2.50. We got two turkey dinners and two chicken finger plates with drinks the bill was $55 bucks!!! What a disappointment.. Just down the block I can get real family turkey dinner a large for 8.25 not salty two full slices of turkey soup or salad and roll and stuffing,potato,and a veg. For 7.25 a small I only get 1 slice less turkey!! For $55 bucks I can go to any other grease spoon and get dessert!! read more

Good food and fast friendly service. What more can you ask for....reasonable prices they have that too! They have it all.

Anyone that reads my reviews can tell that I like more expensive places. HOWEVER... Even though this place may not look like much from the outside or inside - more like a typical local dive - I love it here! You go in and you know there is a local owner who works hard to give fast and great service. My wife and I had great eggs, toast, bacon and the typical coffee type of breakfast. My coffee cup never made it past 1/4 gone before being refilled!! Our bill was a whipping $15 for the both of us!! Amazing!! Good job read more

We have been here twice now for breakfast and we just love this place. Very clean, fast friendly service and excellent food. Homemade and priced right, what more could you ask for? Many folks will say "How can you mess up breakfast? " but it happens all the time with bad coffee, greasy food and crappy service. This place has none of that! If you are looking for a fast affordable breakfast, this place will fit the bill. The owner is hard working and can work a grill faster than anyone. Yummy pancakes, well cooked eggs, decent coffee, a blt club that is a go to for me. Would give it 5 stars but I think the cleanliness has gone down a little, the place looked a little sticky the last time I was in there. read more
