Chicken, ham and swiss cheese crepe topped with Mornay sauce with fresh mixed greens
Richard P.

We came at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday and waited 25 minutes for a table so I guess that shows that this place is quite popular. I ordered the chicken ham and swiss cheese crepe that is served with fresh mixed greens. I opted for a more brunch type meal and it was very satisfying. My wife chose the dulce de Leche crepe with apples, candied walnuts and caramel sauce. Both of our meals were big hits. This is a good place to try for a different option for breakfast or lunch.

Our favorite crepe place! Every time the kids ate home we go to Break'n Eggs for crepes. Today we got 2 filet crepes and 2 seafood crepes and an order of crepe Suzette for dessert. All are delicious! My only thing is their coffee needs some improvement.

I walked in and it's a cozy little spot that makes you feel happy. I sat down and was greeted by a friendly face that guided me through the menu. I was planning on getting a sweet crepe but when the menu was described to me I pivoted and got eggs Benedict which is served over a crepe so you get the best of both worlds. The sweet from the crepe compliments the eggs Benedict very well and a great start to my morning. The ingredients are fresh and everything had a ton of flavor. The corn beef hash is definitely homemade and the way it's prepared is top tier. Highly recommend stopping here for a nice breakfast.

There was a 25 minute wait but worth every minute. It's a tiny place so get there early. They do have wait texting so you can sit in your car. Our server was Sarah and she made us feel special even though she was slammed. The food was amazing. We tried different dishes and the steak crepes was the winner followed by the peameal bacon (Canadian bacon dried in cornmeal- I had to look it up too). what ever you do, try the strawberry jelly. So so good and homemade. Also the sweet tea is made with homemade simple syrup. So filling, I will definitely go back when I'm in Buffalo.

This is a must visit if you are on the outskirts of Buffalo. Worth the wait and great food and service. The chocolate crepes are... a lot! The crepe itself was very good. Such ripe strawberries. Know the kids meal is huge!!

dulce de leche crepe

I stumbled upon this restaurant next to my hotel. Discovering this charming spot next to my hotel was a pleasant surprise as the server was quick and friendly. I ordered the dulce de leche crepe and I found that the richness of the dulce de leche could have been tempered with a bit more balance. The dish was nicely presented, dusted with powdered sugar and garnished with a few apple slices, which added a subtle tartness but not quite enough to offset the sweetness. Overall solid crêpe.

The crepes are must haves! The wait was a little too long but I guess worthy at the end. There isn't savory plain crepes, so we had stuffed breakfast ones. One served with potatoes, one with a side salad which felt healthy! The portions are very generous! We also shared a sweet crepe with Maple English cream. That's what I meant by plain crepes, it's the texture I'm after. Whereas fillings would sometimes distract from the sponginess of the crepes or make them soggy. One thing about the stuffed crepes is that they all came out still steaming so yeah, they're made to order. The only thing I didn't like was that the server kept asking if we want extra stuff as if they are complimentary, such as avocado for the breakfast crepe and blueberries for the sweet crepes. We ended up being charged for them. He should've made it clear up front.

Quick trip to Buffalo from Syracuse. Looked for a GF friendly breakfast place and this was the right choice! I haven't had a crepe since I went GF over 20 years ago! They use buckwheat. I got the Breakfast Crepe but it was a very hard decision - so many terrific choices! The crepe was layered with eggs, meat and cheese, and was a very substantial meal. I got the peameal bacon, which was basically a slice of ham - good but not especially unique. My daughter got the Classic Benedict and she really enjoyed hers as well. She thinks the crepe made a better foundation for the Benedict than the traditional English muffin. I was facing the open kitchen and I enjoyed watching the crepes being made and especially liked watching all the delicious dishes get picked up by the servers. Everything looked so great! Definitely want to return to try more items. (Full menu is available to view online - check it out!)

This place was amazingggg. Exceeded all my expectations for a creperie. We arrived on Sunday morning around 930 and was told there would be a 30 mins wait. So we roamed along Main Street until they gave us a call. Upon sitting at the table, we were greeted warmly by a waiter. And then given a few minutes to choose our order. We decided we both wanted a savory dish and a sweet crepe to share so we got the breakfast crepe with bacon and Brie, the crab cake benedict and a strawberry Nutella as dessert. We need to normalize dessert at brunch ! My bacon and Brie crepe was excellent. It was filled with tons of perfectly cooked scrambled eggs as well as bacon and Brie. I also swapped out my fruit as I have an allergy and they offered me all strawberries which was so gracious as I normally just have to forgo the fruit all together. As for the potatoes, I wasn't expecting much but man they were seasoned perfectly. I also had a few bites of the crab cake Benedict and they do not skimp on the crab. It was not too battered and seasoned just right. But really, I think the true star of this brunch was the dessert crepe. Cooked just right and filled with strawberries and Nutella and served with fresh whipped cream. There was really nothing to complain about. Would definitely come again if I am in the area!

I came here for breakfast with my friend on a weekday. There was a 15 minute wait. With social distancing and because this place isn't that big in the first place, I can see the wait times being long during the weekend. Our waiter was really friendly and came around often to make sure we were okay. I got the crab cake benedict which comes with poached eggs with crab cake on top of a crepe. It also came with breakfast potatoes and fruit. I thought it was pretty good but not the best I've had. The poached eggs were poached to perfection. The crab cake was a little too fishy for my liking. The crepe was creative and added a slightly sweeter touch. The breakfast potatoes were alright. I felt that they were a little burnt. I wish they served mimosas though!!!

First time at this gen, my son found it on google with great reviews…read more Cute cafe, friendly greeting and seated immediately. My son had the Niagara Falls Crepe and said it was the BEST he has ever had. Honestly, I had to look up what a galette was. I had the bacon, Brie, galette, as per recommended by the waitress. My husband had the spinach , egg , galette. It was very good as well! Definitely recommend this French cafe, everything is made to order.

Bonjour, Foodies. Wow! What a wonderful spot to eat. We (4 top) had brunch here Sunday before…read moreLabour Day. Americans visiting Canada. Early afternoon not long before they closed to break and then begin dinner service prep. We were the last brunch patrons of the day. Only critique might be on their ventilation system. It was a bit smoky in the dining area. Most likely coming from the kitchen. No burnt smell, just a bit of haze. Atmosphere was quiet (of course. There were only a few tables eating at that time) and cozy. Decor is very Parisienne. My wife has been to Paris and she recalled cafés just like this one. Stacy was our server. She was very nice and very friendly. Exceptionally knowledgeable about the dishes and the story of the café. There was a sense of pride when she spoke of the café that did not go unnoticed. Food was delivered in good time. What was supposed to be hot was hot & cold, cold. We had: Thalassa (Galette) La Baraka (Crepe) La Complete (Galette) Cappuccino (2) Beer (local, Sleeman Original Lager) Bread with Butter & Strawberry Jam Suffice to say that EVERYTHING was delicious. That's, actually, an understatement. One bite of his La Complete and my brother in law said, "Dude, you gotta taste this!! And he was right..amazing." My dish was the Thalassa, because I adore smoked salmon. It was fresh, bright and it was my first time having caviar. I thought that I would love it and I did. Then, my wife's dish, the sweet La Baraka. O M G! Nothing like it. Sweet but not too sweet and come to find out from Stacy that all the components are made from scratch. The salted butter caramel & the Chantilly. Idk how it's made but I'm going to learn how to make that Chantilly. Soooo good! Also, the Cappuccino here is outstanding. My wife made the mistake of letting me try some. She had to order another! Delectable. The bread, of course, is House-made, as you'd expect. This was the kind of experience I look for, especially, when I travel. I would love to eat here again before we leave in a few days. We'll see.... There are many more experiences to have. MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. 5/5

Possibly my favorite pancakes in Buffalo can be found at Eggsperience Vasilis!!…read more Eggsperience is one of my favorite neighborhood spots. They always seem to be busy and the staff is super nice. I had a reservation here for party of 8 and overall we were well attended to. Their Banana Nut pancakes (bananas, almonds, drizzle of caramel sauce, whipped cream) are truly some of my FAVORITE in Buffalo!I only got one today because I wanted a savory breakfast (but still couldn't resist a mid-day dessert) I do have a couple critiques about this place: *I've never tried one of their smoothies, but that blender is LOUD and the smoothies are mad at a bar in the back of the dining room. We were seated near it and could barely talk when the blender was screeching *4.29 is expensive for a small glass of orange juicenot sure if the cost included refills but I was not offered one and didn't want to be cheap and ask if refills were free *my eggs Benedict were good (I finished em all lol) but wayyy to much holland size *5/8 of us got eggs Benedict- and the English muffins were not toasted All this to say I still recommend this place! They have a big menu, overall their food is really good (especially the pancakes) and it's decorated so nice inside with lots of natural light too possibly my favorite pancakes in Buffalo can be found at follow @summersgoodeats on Instagram and TikTok for more food reviews, recs, and taste tests!
