Three vegetarian Crew's Creations did survive, but no Margie, no Barb, no Biff. Oatmilk is $1.45 upcharge despite all major chains dropping fees for plant milk. As a coffee shop, this gets 4 stars for lots of espresso drinks, a seitan sandwich, lentils, vegan cookies, friendly staff, ambiance, and lots of seating - which is what it deserves if you don't compare it Amy's Place. It is NOT Amy's Place. If you are thinking of this as Amy's Place, it would get 2 stars as a serious downgrade of the prior restaurant. The looks inside are not great, the furniture looks old and a bit run down. Maybe that will change soon under the new management. When I left I noticed the big "Daily Planet" sign over the front door is gone. Are we changing names maybe?

Then it was empty for a while. Then a yoga place, a coffee shop, and now a bustling coffee shop that's become a local meeting spot. Its busy all the time. And for those passing by, they have a mural on the outside. Its colorful and depicts the shadows of people inside (presumably). Its over the outside patio, which is also busy much of the year.
