Bloody Mary

The Grange has been one of my favorite spots in Hamburg for years now. Today we went for brunch and we were not disappointed! All three of us got the avocado toast with a soft egg, which was delicious. I had the drip coffee and my sister had a Bloody Mary which we both enjoyed. Knowing that everything you are eating is fresh and local is a huge plus. It was busy in there but we got our food quickly and had a table right away.

Rose Cardamom Latte and Ricotta Toast

I have not posted a review about this restaurant because truth be told I would like to keep it to myself. Haha! This is my ABSOLUTE favorite restaurant in Western New York! Everything about it is the best. The ambience, creativity. This was one one of my after yoga breakfast stops which included a rose cardamom latte and ricotta toast. The floral combination of rose water and cardamom hit the right notes. The ricotta toast was ricotta, pistachios, honey and mint on top of homemade sourdough. It was excellent a little sweet, salty and fresh. Honestly if you haven't been to the Grange it is top notch. Everything is homemade and fresh with combinations I would never think to put together. I have never had a bad meal there. Try out their breakfast, lunch or dinner. You will never be disappointed!

Off the charts good! Everything was fresh and delicious. The food came out fast and the place is super cute. They have an outside patio area too which is nice to sit at on a hot day.

the black and white on the summer squash pizza

Would have given it a five but there was a nondisclosed sweet/lemony ingredient in the summer squash pizza. Don't like to mix sweet and savory. Kale salad was great. Nice wine selections.

Another exceptional evening at the Grange with family and out-of-town friends! Thomas and Kevin made our evening extra special, ensuring we had everything we needed; a most splendid dinner experience, indeed! Thank you!

The colors and decor were very nice, kinda farm house. A nice look and feel inside. There's no actual servers, which I did not like. So you have to wait in line to order your food and drinks and they give you a number. Some people got their drinks after others who were in the line behind them. While the food is supposedly farm fresh, you really couldn't tell the difference. And is a bit pricey. Latte 9/10 I got caramel in it, which I didn't taste at all. It was a decent latte though. Croque madame 9/10 Pretty good. Bread was super thick but the middle was perfect, edges were a bit crunchy. The mornay sauce didn't have a ton of flavor, but it was a tiny bit cheesy. You could taste the ham, but couldn't tell it was maple flavored. The egg was cooked well, perfect sunny side up. Crispy potatoes 7/10 Just random sized chunks of potato. They would be better if they were cut a little smaller. They were cooked good, but flavor wise, they were pretty plain, they needed some more flavor of the spices and Parmesan cheese. Garlic aioli was really good flavor, not super garlicy though and a little lemony The double cheeseburger looked so delicious, i would try that next time. The pizzas also looked really good with beautifully cooked wood fired crust.

I really enjoyed the food, and the ambiance of the restaurant. You can sit where ever you choose, you can refill your own water, they have an island area with filtered water, & water glasses. So many beverages to choose from. The server was great, he had the biggest smile ever I loved it! So kind! You order your food when you first come in & you pay for it, & the server brings it to your table. The dinner menu changes all the time, I can't wait to come again to have dinner here,

Food bleh, BLT.

Food Bleh, coffee warm not hot, hot chocolate watery, the BLT THREE THICK cut tomatoes, and a little bit of bacon, TOOO MUCH DILL SAUCE-SLOPPY, the only exceptional thing was the heart pastry! That was delicious. We had them fix coffees , but I didn't want to send all If it back. Not impressed, PLUS don't you hate that you order your food from front and you have to get your own water and such and they ask for a tip??

Brussel sprout pizza

I'm giving five stars and I only had an appetizer and a pizza. This place was absolutely excellent. It's a good sign when it was completely booked and I could only sit at the bar on a Wednesday night. I had an appetizer of the hummus and for my meal I had a brussels sprout pizza. The hummus was probably the best hummus I've ever had in my life. It came with bread straight from the woodfired pizza oven. First time I've ever tried brussels sprouts on a pizza and that was just OK but the dough and everything else was amazing. My waitress was Marie G and she was fabulous. She really knew the menu for this was my first time at this restaurant so I had questions and she answered them all. Very informative and great service. The restaurant itself is beautiful and welcoming. I sat at the chiefs bar and watch the chefs without entrées like madmen. Very professional clean and friendly. Will absolutely return..

Nardello Pepper and Sausage Pizza

I can't believe we've never eaten here! It's always been on our list to try but never got around to it. I'm so sad we waited so long. My husband made us a reservation for our anniversary. First, I love the ambiance. Slightly dimmed lighting, a full working kitchen out in the open and real tea light candles at every table. Our server was wonderful! We asked for recommendations and started with the hummus special, which was a Baba Ganoush hummus. Slightly spicy and incredible! My husband isn't a hummus guy but he absolutely loved it. He said he wished he could have it at home on the daily! We asked our server for a pizza recommendation and she suggested the Nardello Pepper and Sausage pizza. It did not disappoint! We also ordered the double cheeseburger and split both dishes. The burger was SO good. Not greasy, incredible flavor. The side of crispy potatoes was OUT OF THIS WORLD . Sadly, I didn't get a pic. We can't wait to go back!

Came here for Valentines Day. The short ribs were delicious, tender, and flavorful. Cocktails were delicious as well.

The Poked Yolk

Visited The Poked Yolk today with some friends, and after finally trying it, I can completely see…read morewhy everyone talks about this place. The food was amazing and the service was honestly great from start to finish. I got one of their May specials, the Mexican strawberry French toast. It was stuffed with strawberry cream cheese and topped with fresh strawberries and a kiwi drizzle. It looked beautiful and tasted even better. Every bite was sweet but balanced, not overly heavy. I also ordered a side of home fries and turkey sausage just to try them out, and both were really solid. The home fries were crispy and seasoned well, and the turkey sausage had great flavor without being greasy. Two of my friends ordered the dulce de leche pancakes, which were another May special. I stole a bite and immediately regretted not ordering them myself. They were fluffy and sweet with just the right amount of caramel flavor. I already know I'm coming back later this month to order a full plate for myself! Our other friend went with the caramel banana Belgian waffles. I did not try them, but they looked incredible. Everything we ordered looked great and tasted just as good. The portions were generous, and for the amount of food and quality, the prices were totally reasonable. Our waitress was super friendly and stayed on top of everything, even though it looked like she had a lot of tables. The food came out pretty quickly, and it was fresh and hot when it hit the table. We had a great experience and I'm already planning on coming back. If you have not tried The Poked Yolk yet, you are seriously missing out!

I came here because I was in the area and hungry. It was packed even at 10:30 on a Tuesday…read moremorning. Parking lot was full. They have booths, tables and a small counter. I don't really understand why everyone loves this place so much. It's certainly fine. The food is good. But nothing about this place makes me think "can't wait to come back". I'd go back if in the area looking for breakfast, but not make a trip out of it. Parking was easy.
